00:01:04 Barbara Carmack
Welcome to call to Freedom, Christ Jesus, who died and was raised to life by the power of Holy Spirit, who lives in you.
00:01:13 Barbara Carmack
Yes, the power is unlimited, friend. If you just reach out and take it from him he loves.
00:01:21 Barbara Carmack
He loves to expose that and to exhibit that.
00:01:24 Barbara Carmack
Oh, praise the Lord. Jesus is at the right hand of God and is also.
00:01:29 Barbara Carmack
Interceding for us isn’t that marvelous.
00:01:33 Barbara Carmack
You know that when you say your prayers, it’s going up to Jesus ears.
00:01:37 Barbara Carmack
Know we don’t hear all the time. What we need to.
00:01:39 Barbara Carmack
We’re quick to make decisions when we’re just half hearing, but Jesus is the one who hears our prayers at the right hand of God. God tells the angels.
00:01:49 Barbara Carmack
You go down and you need John’s need or you need.
00:01:53 Barbara Carmack
Or you meet Mary’s need and he they go and do the this this thing that they are made to do and that is ministering. Spirits seem to do service for God.
00:02:05 Barbara Carmack
People and that you’ll find that in Hebrews one, verse 14 aren’t the angels all ministering spirits sent to render service to God’s people.
00:02:15 Barbara Carmack
Oh, it’s so beautiful.
00:02:17 Barbara Carmack
So don’t ever think you alone, my friend.
00:02:19 Barbara Carmack
Ever think you alone?
00:02:21 Barbara Carmack
You are blessed to dispense for in him. You live and move and have your being. If you would like to give to call to friend, you enjoy the teaching.
00:02:29 Barbara Carmack
‘S teaching and and Barbara’s teaching and enjoy just the daily thing that we’re talking about.
00:02:36 Barbara Carmack
The things that are up to date in the news. Yeah, I listen to the news because I.
00:02:40 Barbara Carmack
To know what’s.
00:02:41 Barbara Carmack
Going on, and if you’d like to give to call to freedom, you just go to freedomst.org one word, lowercase freedomst.org, and there’s a little donate button.
00:02:51 Barbara Carmack
All you do is hit that donate button and you give and it and it will come down to the office and I will record it for you and pray over you in Jesus name and.
00:03:03 Barbara Carmack
E-mail some of you who have given God bless you for your giving and for those who are sending it through the post office.
00:03:09 Barbara Carmack
The.
00:03:10 Barbara Carmack
That’s a wonderful way to give also and I appreciate so much your gift.
00:03:15 Barbara Carmack
My goodness, if you have the calls and the emails of, please give give, give, give, give, give, give and then people on the corners here in Denver. You you want to give. But on one street corner or five people begging on another street corner or 10 people be.
00:03:31 Barbara Carmack
And who do you give to?
00:03:33 Barbara Carmack
Oh my goodness it it can be a very confusing time, but just keep your eyes on Jesus. Kimberly’s going to talk about that day, that today. Keep your eyes on Jesus.
00:03:43 Barbara Carmack
On him.
00:03:43 Barbara Carmack
He’s going to get you through.
00:03:45 Barbara Carmack
The Lord.
00:03:46 Barbara Carmack
And we also, I want to remind you of the meeting on December, the.
00:03:49 Barbara Carmack
Kimberly is planning to be here with me and she’s going to make her famous sweet potato casserole.
00:03:54 Barbara Carmack
Going to love it.
00:03:56 Barbara Carmack
You’re going to love.
00:03:57 Barbara Carmack
I don’t see anybody that has ignored that that.
00:04:01 Barbara Carmack
Wonderful dish on Thanksgiving. So December the 14th, the second Saturday of December. And then from then on it’s going to be a whirlwind.
00:04:11 Barbara Carmack
Till the end of the year, all. But I’m so looking forward to the end of the year.
00:04:13
Over.
00:04:16 Barbara Carmack
Friends. Because just like today, I heard that Joe Biden had given a billion dollars to the Ukraine.
00:04:23 Barbara Carmack
And still those precious people in North Carolina are living in tents in the mud and in the muck.
00:04:30 Barbara Carmack
And they haven’t received all the benefits they should have gotten from FEMA.
00:04:35 Speaker 3
And see when.
00:04:35 Barbara Carmack
We get a new administration. My, my dear folks. Oh, it’s going to be an eye opener for everybody.
00:04:41 Barbara Carmack
So I’m looking forward to.
00:04:43 Barbara Carmack
January 2025. Here we come.
00:04:47 Barbara Carmack
Praise the Lord.
00:04:48 Barbara Carmack
Welcome to the program.
00:04:51 Speaker 3
Thank.
00:04:52 Speaker 3
I’m going to bounce right off of that because a new administration is what we really are longing for and hoping for.
00:05:00 Speaker 3
In our own lives, just daily. And so when we’ve been talking about Jesus being our roommate and what kind of a roommate are we for him, we’re sharing this space, this, this body that we call me and we call it my own.
00:05:14
Yeah.
00:05:16 Speaker 3
He made it and he made it for himself.
00:05:19 Speaker 3
And you know.
00:05:20 Speaker 3
A new administration we have been in the administrative seat and we have been in control for so long in our own minds our own thoughts and the way we do things in life.
00:05:33 Speaker 3
It’s time for someone else to be in control.
00:05:36 Speaker 4
It is time for Jesus to be in control.
00:05:39 Barbara Carmack
It has.
00:05:40 Barbara Carmack
Much of my life, Kimberly, was made.
00:05:42 Barbara Carmack
Made looking at things in a negative way.
00:05:46 Barbara Carmack
That’s the.
00:05:47 Barbara Carmack
Do it trying to get to.
00:05:48 Barbara Carmack
Well, that’s the enemy trying to get to me and Kimberly when we make that little adjustment that Jesus is always there for us. He’s our shield.
00:05:57 Barbara Carmack
Not going to let any harm come to us because now we are in him. You’re absolutely right.
00:06:02 Barbara Carmack
We belong to him.
00:06:04 Barbara Carmack
So we don’t think the enemy anymore.
00:06:06 Barbara Carmack
Old.
00:06:07 Barbara Carmack
Ha, that’s.
00:06:09 Barbara Carmack
We are a new creation in Christ Jesus, and what a great administration.
00:06:15 Speaker 3
Yes, yes.
00:06:15 Barbara Carmack
Oh, praise the Lord.
00:06:17 Speaker 3
Honestly, we get ourselves into.
00:06:20 Speaker 3
We back ourselves into corners, we get ourselves into messes with the way that we control and administrate, and we we end up in a place where we are sad greed.
00:06:30
Yes.
00:06:31 Speaker 3
We’re not satisfied, not fulfilled.
00:06:33 Speaker 3
We can feel hopeless, and we might have everything we ever dreamed of.
00:06:39 Speaker 3
We might possess all of our dreams come true in our lives and still feel completely.
00:06:47 Speaker 3
Unsatisfied.
00:06:48 Speaker 3
And that is because we have not allowed his.
00:06:52 Speaker 3
We have not allowed Jesus to be the one in control.
00:06:56 Speaker 3
Control and guiding our lives. You know, he came down from the heavens to this earth to be with us.
00:07:02 Speaker 3
Then he came even.
00:07:05 Speaker 3
He he lowered himself to remain involved with us.
00:07:09 Speaker 3
Is Emmanuel God with us?
00:07:13 Speaker 3
And he has stayed with us through every decision we’ve ever made. On every path we’ve ever taken.
00:07:20 Speaker 3
With every foul word that has gone out of our mouth, or even just through our mind, he has remained. He’s been there.
00:07:29 Speaker 3
So you know, here he is wanting to be with us and he’s saying in revelation 320, behold.
00:07:37 Speaker 3
I stand at the door and knock.
00:07:38 Speaker 3
Let’s the door of your heart if anyone hears and opens the door, I will come into him and I will dine with him and he with me.
00:07:49 Speaker 3
So here he is, wanting to be with.
00:07:52 Speaker 3
He wants to be involved with us and what happens then when we put up all our boundaries and and we put up these walls and we say no, I don’t really want to follow what you are putting on my heart right now.
00:08:06 Speaker 3
I want to do my own thing.
00:08:08 Speaker 3
I know that we end up feeling really like we’ve lost our joy like we’ve lost our peace.
00:08:14 Speaker 3
Well, we know who our peace is. The Prince of Peace is Jesus, and we know who our joy is.
00:08:20 Speaker 3
The joy of the.
00:08:22 Speaker 3
Lord, that we that gives us.
00:08:25 Speaker 3
That is what we are strengthened by is his joy.
00:08:28 Speaker 3
It’s him in us and it’s not just being in us with us, making all the decisions and controlling our lives, it’s sharing that.
00:08:38 Speaker 3
You know where we bring him our ideas and our dreams, our goals and our motives to do.
00:08:45 Speaker 3
We bring him to him and say is this pleasing to you and be a good role model for him, you know, so.
00:08:53 Speaker 3
I I was talking with somebody just last night and she brought up.
00:08:57 Speaker 3
The scripture from Jonah, 28 and in the amplified version it says that those who pay regard to false, useless and worthless things turn away from their own mercy and loving kindness.
00:09:14 Speaker 3
That’s how it’s worded in the amplified version Jonah 2.
00:09:17 Speaker 3
So if you are controlling your life and you’re making decisions, you’ve got your own agendas and your own goals, your own dreams, that you want to have come true for yourself.
00:09:29 Speaker 3
And you’re not giving any time to the Lord.
00:09:32 Speaker 3
Lord, those things are worthless and you are turning away from your very own mercy and loving kindness, mercy and loving kindness will bring you peace will bring you joy.
00:09:47 Speaker 3
And it’s the best kind of joy, I thought of this yesterday when we were on the on the radio and and I’m thinking of it again.
00:09:54 Speaker 3
I feel like it’s time to.
00:09:55 Speaker 3
I’m supposed to share once again about the the sea lion.
00:10:00 Speaker 3
Who was in the desert? He found himself in the desert.
00:10:03 Speaker 3
How he got to the desert we don’t know. But he never knew any kind of ocean life or lake.
00:10:10 Speaker 3
He all he knew was desert life.
00:10:12 Speaker 3
Here’s the sea lion in the desert, but sea lions are not made for the desert, are they?
00:10:17 Barbara Carmack
And throughout.
00:10:18 Barbara Carmack
Know it.
00:10:19 Speaker 3
No. And he did have one tiny puddle, one tiny puddle.
00:10:25 Speaker 3
It was just a murky, muddy puddle and he loved his puddle.
00:10:30 Speaker 3
Loved how that puddle made him feel because he was.
00:10:33 Speaker 3
For water.
00:10:34 Speaker 3
Sea lions are made for water.
00:10:36 Speaker 3
And here’s this sea lion living in the desert, and he’s got his one puddle and a a sea turtle comes along and this sea turtle has also never seen any vast amounts of water.
00:10:50 Speaker 3
Only seen puddles here and there.
00:10:53 Speaker 3
And the sea Lion told him, you know, I keep having these dreams every night of so much water that I’m just swimming and swimming in this water. And there’s beautiful things in this water and and it’s like.
00:11:07 Speaker 3
It’s like nothing I’ve ever seen here.
00:11:11 Speaker 3
And the sea turtle tells them all you get.
00:11:12 Speaker 3
Just a.
00:11:13 Speaker 3
It’s just a.
00:11:14 Speaker 3
You’re never going to find anything like that, so just keep enjoying your puddle.
00:11:21 Speaker 3
And really, this story is about us.
00:11:25 Speaker 3
We are in this.
00:11:26 Speaker 3
We’re on this planet, but we’re not made for this.
00:11:29 Speaker 3
We are eternal beings and we are made for something much greater than this. And when we decide that there is something here that we really like.
00:11:36
Right.
00:11:41 Speaker 3
Something that seems to satisfy, but it only satisfies in the moment.
00:11:47 Speaker 3
It’s not satisfying for the even the whole.
00:11:50 Speaker 3
You know, it doesn’t last a whole day, whether that’s watching movies, reading a book, going shopping, eating.
00:11:57 Speaker 3
Whatever it is, we find our puddles and we think that puddle is so fun to just splash around in and it’s it gives us plenty of enjoyment.
00:12:09 Speaker 3
And that puddle is nothing compared to the ocean we’re made.
00:12:15 Barbara Carmack
For that’s right.
00:12:17 Speaker 3
And God has created us for an ocean of.
00:12:20 Speaker 3
An ocean of his love. And that’s what we want to keep our eyes on.
00:12:25 Speaker 3
Because when Jesus says, behold, I stand at the door and knock. He is not just knocking to be in us, he’s knocking.
00:12:35 Speaker 3
To invite us to the ocean, to invite us to greater things. Greater things.
00:12:40 Speaker 3
If anyone hears and opens the door to.
00:12:42 Speaker 3
Him. He will come in and dine with.
00:12:45 Speaker 3
He will come in and feast with us and we get to feast with him.
00:12:53 Barbara Carmack
Oh, praise God.
00:12:54
This.
00:12:55 Speaker 3
This is something that I I’m just jealous for him to have every heart, especially during this season when it’s really it is this. This month is looking toward.
00:13:08 Speaker 3
Him his birth, his coming into our lives and so often we just don’t even hear him knocking.
00:13:17 Speaker 3
We don’t follow what he is hinting and whispering to our hearts.
00:13:23 Speaker 3
And if we could just remember that this feast that we would share with him, it’s like sharing a feast.
00:13:30 Speaker 3
Best chef in the universe, but not only has he created a great feast for us to partake of.
00:13:39 Speaker 3
He says that we have something to offer him.
00:13:42 Speaker 3
He is going to come in and feast with us. That’s right.
00:13:47 Speaker 3
I can’t even imagine you and I were talking about it.
00:13:50 Speaker 3
Gordon, Gordon, Ramsay, or Bobby Flay. You know, some of those, those well known chefs that have these cooking shows and baking shows.
00:14:01 Speaker 3
I I watch those shows and I just try to imagine if I were asked to make a meal for one of these chefs, I would be really stressed out, intimidated.
00:14:12 Barbara Carmack
Oh yeah, absolutely. To a Max.
00:14:14
Yeah.
00:14:15 Speaker 4
I have no.
00:14:16 Speaker 3
Idea what I would prepare for someone like that.
00:14:19 Barbara Carmack
Well, you know what, I.
00:14:20 Speaker 3
And.
00:14:21 Barbara Carmack
I would probably order something from like Olive Garden or.
00:14:26 Barbara Carmack
Knowing that at least it would taste decent when you get nervous about preparing.
00:14:31 Barbara Carmack
Then something usually happens.
00:14:34 Barbara Carmack
That you’re not expecting.
00:14:36 Barbara Carmack
So yeah, I would probably order.
00:14:40 Speaker 4
But you’re just kind of flinging me right off of this whole. Oh, the whole point was about Jesus.
00:14:49 Speaker 4
You would disorder something from someone else.
00:14:49 Barbara Carmack
Alright, that was that was a bad segue. OK, bad segue.
00:14:59
So.
00:15:00 Speaker 4
OK, if we if we’re back to Jesus being the greatest chef in the universe.
00:15:06 Speaker 3
And imagining what in the world do we have that we could offer him?
00:15:10 Speaker 3
But you know, it’s like that.
00:15:12 Speaker 3
Drummer boy song.
00:15:14 Barbara Carmack
Hey.
00:15:14 Speaker 3
He has given each one of us a gift, and there’s something so brilliant and so precious and so special in every single one of us.
00:15:25 Speaker 3
Yes, in you who listening right now, something so treasured inside of you that Jesus longs to spend time with you and be with you.
00:15:36 Speaker 3
He longs for you to open the door to him.
00:15:40 Speaker 3
And just talk with him about everything and play your drum.
00:15:45 Speaker 4
You know if.
00:15:45 Speaker 3
You’re the drummer boy. Play that little drum for him.
00:15:48 Speaker 3
That is the gift that we bring, whatever it is that is precious and special about us, we bring it to him and he loves it.
00:15:56 Speaker 3
Created that for him.
00:15:59 Barbara Carmack
That’s right.
00:16:00 Speaker 3
So Monday we were talking about making room for him.
00:16:06 Speaker 3
And when he first appeared on this earth in the form of a.
00:16:10 Speaker 3
There.
00:16:11 Speaker 3
No room.
00:16:12 Speaker 3
Him in the end and making room.
00:16:17 Speaker 3
Might be trying to take some other things like those puddles out of our.
00:16:23 Speaker 3
You know those puddles that we think are so wonderful to splash in those puddles that take up our time and, you know, for some of us, it’s game.
00:16:32 Speaker 3
Wow these these devices that we have in front of our faces all the time now have so many games on them and that can keep us really distracted.
00:16:43 Speaker 3
And it is fun.
00:16:44 Speaker 3
It’s it’s.
00:16:45 Speaker 3
Those games are fun and they can feel satisfying to be in the middle of them.
00:16:51 Speaker 3
But they’re not truly satisfying.
00:16:54 Speaker 3
They don’t really meet the need or fill the hole within us.
00:16:59 Speaker 3
Only Jesus can do that.
00:17:02 Speaker 3
And so listening to his promptings and obeying, opening the door to him and spending more time with him, that’s how we will feast with him. He becomes our feast.
00:17:14 Speaker 3
He satisfies us in every way.
00:17:17 Speaker 3
Communion with him is better than any food that we have on this planet.
00:17:22 Barbara Carmack
That’s right.
00:17:23 Barbara Carmack
Yes, that’s why I love verse 19. Before you get to verse 20, behold, I stand at the door because he’s talking to you about there’s going to be times when you need discipline and correction.
00:17:35 Barbara Carmack
Because you may be going in the wrong direction or I’ve got to bring you back. And sometimes it’s painful. Sometimes it’s losing your relationship, sometimes it’s not doing what you desire to do, like around Christmas time. You’re not going to be shopping like.
00:17:50 Barbara Carmack
Would love.
00:17:51 Barbara Carmack
Do or that kind of thing. And I love that that Jesus is warning us.
00:17:56 Barbara Carmack
It’s not going to be all.
00:17:57 Barbara Carmack
It’s like in 2nd Corinthians 4, he.
00:18:00 Barbara Carmack
For momentary light, affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory.
00:18:07 Barbara Carmack
Far beyond all comparison, while we look not at the things which are seen.
00:18:12 Barbara Carmack
But at the things which are not seen, so in the spirit, we know that Jesus is our if you want to call him our chef, who’s preparing that feast for us.
00:18:23 Barbara Carmack
Shouldn’t we love?
00:18:24 Barbara Carmack
Or should we be content with that little puddle like the lion, the sea lion?
00:18:30 Barbara Carmack
And so many of us have been content with the little puddle.
00:18:34 Speaker 3
Oh, yes, yes, I’m guilty of.
00:18:36 Speaker 3
Myself, I am.
00:18:37 Barbara Carmack
Well, yeah, me too, yes.
00:18:40 Speaker 3
And you know when? When we do find ourselves in those places, those dry, dry places.
00:18:46 Speaker 3
And you know, I guess what makes it hard is we are living in this.
00:18:50 Speaker 3
So what we see are the games and the shopping and the eating, and that’s what we see. That’s what we grab for, right, but.
00:19:01 Speaker 3
In the other realm, there’s a.
00:19:03 Speaker 3
There’s a way of connecting that is so satisfying and so fulfilling.
00:19:09 Speaker 3
That you don’t even want what you used to want it.
00:19:12 Speaker 3
Fills every.
00:19:13 Speaker 3
It fills all the spaces. That’s right.
00:19:16 Speaker 3
Oh, that’s.
00:19:17 Speaker 3
I played that song on on Monday as well.
00:19:20 Speaker 3
There’s no one as good as him, and he fills up all the little empty spaces of our lives.
00:19:27 Speaker 3
He does that.
00:19:28 Speaker 3
Especially when we invite him.
00:19:30 Speaker 3
He.
00:19:30 Speaker 3
It even in his generosity and his benevolence to us, when we don’t ask.
00:19:36 Barbara Carmack
He.
00:19:36 Speaker 3
Sends rain to the righteous and the wicked.
00:19:41 Speaker 3
You know, so on the days when I am ignoring him and it doesn’t feel like I’m very righteous, he’s still sending me rain.
00:19:49 Speaker 3
He is still loving me.
00:19:51 Speaker 3
That’s amazing in song of songs Chapter 3, it starts out saying night after night. I’m tossing and turning on my bed.
00:20:01 Speaker 3
Of travail. Why did I let him go from me? My heart aches, but he is nowhere to be found.
00:20:11 Speaker 3
And we can get to these places in our lives where we feel like we have lost that joy.
00:20:18 Speaker 3
We have lost the peace and it’s OK, that’s OK.
00:20:23 Speaker 3
The darkness comes.
00:20:25 Speaker 3
And weak might be tossing and turning, but that just shows us there’s more.
00:20:31 Speaker 3
There’s more than this.
00:20:33 Speaker 3
There’s more than sleep. There’s more than shopping, more than playing games.
00:20:37 Speaker 3
More.
00:20:38 Speaker 3
And he is so beautiful and so satisfying.
00:20:42 Speaker 3
Go back to the place where you might have lost him. You know, if you if you are not with him.
00:20:49 Speaker 3
There’s something that happened in your life, and maybe maybe you gave up on praying.
00:20:54 Speaker 3
Go back to prayer with him. Then maybe you gave up on being in the word and studying his word and making sure that his word has priority in you.
00:21:04 Speaker 3
Your life go back to his word.
00:21:07 Speaker 3
Start reading his word again.
00:21:09 Speaker 3
Spend time with him that way.
00:21:12 Speaker 3
Go back to these places that you might have left him because of disappointment or discouragement.
00:21:19 Speaker 3
Go back to them and.
00:21:21 Speaker 3
Reignite that fire by spending time with him.
00:21:25 Speaker 3
Make sure that you keep that fire going so that your heart does not become cold.
00:21:31 Speaker 3
Don’t need cold hearts right now.
00:21:33 Speaker 3
There’s too much, too much to be excited for there.
00:21:34 Barbara Carmack
Moments.
00:21:37 Speaker 3
A new.
00:21:38 Barbara Carmack
Administration coming just like you said and and it’s Jesus, it’s him.
00:21:44 Speaker 3
He is the one who is coming to us and feasting with us, and we get to feast with him.
00:21:50 Speaker 3
Think it’s important to just use our imagination, you know, imagine.
00:21:55 Speaker 3
Someone else’s space as a roommate living with someone.
00:21:59 Speaker 3
Someone else and taking up only a corner of their space.
00:22:03 Speaker 3
A corner in their basement.
00:22:05 Barbara Carmack
Yeah.
00:22:05 Speaker 3
Wouldn’t you really want to be invited into the other spaces of the home?
00:22:11 Speaker 3
If it’s a beautiful home.
00:22:12 Barbara Carmack
Yes, yes.
00:22:12 Speaker 3
And I mean, if we’re going to imagine, let’s go ahead and imagine a beautiful.
00:22:16 Barbara Carmack
Yes, or having some space in the kitchen to prepare what you’d like to prepare or to watch.
00:22:22 Speaker 3
Yeah, would not be wonderful to be invited in to those spaces.
00:22:27 Speaker 3
That’s what we need to be doing with our Jesus.
00:22:30 Speaker 3
He does not need to remain in the lowest places and the darkest places of our lives.
00:22:35 Speaker 3
We need to be inviting him up into the other places and say here I’ve had control of this long enough. I’ve had control of this habit, this addiction.
00:22:46 Speaker 3
These ideas, this dream, this relationship.
00:22:50 Speaker 3
I’ve had control of these finances for too long.
00:22:54 Speaker 3
Will you just take over control?
00:22:54
Yes.
00:22:56 Speaker 3
Because I know you have something so much better for me than I could ever make for myself.
00:23:01 Barbara Carmack
That’s right. One thing this verse says is that he is going to knock.
00:23:06 Barbara Carmack
He is not going to open.
00:23:09 Barbara Carmack
That’s you that is going to have to open the door.
00:23:12 Speaker 3
That’s good.
00:23:13 Barbara Carmack
And sometimes we think, well, Lord, if you just it’s kind of like putting out a.
00:23:17 Barbara Carmack
Fleece well, Lord, if you do this for me and I see that you’re kind of going, we’re kind of going in that direction, then I will open the door for you.
00:23:26 Barbara Carmack
No, you open the door when you hear that.
00:23:29 Barbara Carmack
Knock that knock in your.
00:23:31 Barbara Carmack
From Jesus, yeah.
00:23:34 Speaker 3
Yeah. Yes, last week I I was so excited about the Book of Zechariah and the 3rd chapter is dedicated to the removal of guilt and having the filthy garments removed from us.
00:23:49 Speaker 3
And being clothed in priestly garments, and I might have brought this up yesterday. I’m just bringing it up again because.
00:23:55 Speaker 3
In Zechariah 3, verse 9, the Lord of hosts declares and says I will remove that country’s guilt in a single day.
00:24:08 Speaker 3
Imagine a whole country’s guilt.
00:24:11 Speaker 3
All the people in one country and all the guilt of all these people.
00:24:18 Speaker 3
Each individual sin on an individual level, that’s a lot.
00:24:21 Speaker 3
It is and.
00:24:22 Speaker 3
Here’s God saying I will remove that country’s guilt in a single day.
00:24:28 Speaker 3
This is.
00:24:29 Speaker 3
This is a wonderful verse because if you can believe that he can do what he says he will do.
00:24:38 Speaker 3
If you can believe that about God that he can do what he says, that he will do, that he can remove a whole countries guilt in just one day.
00:24:49 Speaker 3
Well, then you can believe that he can do that for you.
00:24:54 Speaker 3
I it’s not just one country that he removed the guilt.
00:24:57 Speaker 3
He removed the the guilt from everyone in this world, the whole planet.
00:25:02 Barbara Carmack
Sorry.
00:25:03 Speaker 3
He did that when Jesus hung on the cross.
00:25:08 Speaker 3
The day that Jesus hung there, on that cross and appealed to his heavenly Father, saying father forgive them.
00:25:15 Speaker 3
They do not know what they’re doing.
00:25:18 Speaker 3
He was saying that over everyone.
00:25:20 Speaker 3
You know, we’ve talked about that a lot and I’m not trying to beat a dead horse.
00:25:25 Speaker 3
I am so passionate for people to see that Jesus did not say Father forgive.
00:25:31 Speaker 3
Only my disciples.
00:25:34 Speaker 3
He did not make it some kind of an exclusive forgiveness right where he excluded a certain group that was all Father, forgive them.
00:25:46 Speaker 3
They do not know what they’re doing.
00:25:46 Barbara Carmack
Yes.
00:25:47 Speaker 3
The entire human race.
00:25:50 Speaker 3
And so when we believe.
00:25:52 Speaker 3
That that is true for.
00:25:54 Speaker 3
It we’re we’re putting our imaginations to it. Looking back and seeing something that happened. But it’s not just a story. It is truth.
00:26:04 Speaker 3
Paid the price for every.
00:26:07 Speaker 3
In one day.
00:26:08 Speaker 3
In a single day, he removed all guilt and all shame, and now he’s the one standing at the door of your heart.
00:26:16 Speaker 3
Knocking and for some of us, that might feel like a prompting to take a High Road when you’re you’re really tempted to retaliate on someone and for others it looks like sacrificing something, whatever that knocking that invitation is.
00:26:33 Speaker 3
If it is to speak up when you’ve been silent for too long.
00:26:37 Speaker 3
Or maybe to just quiet down when you’ve spoken too much.
00:26:42 Speaker 3
Open the door to our Lord.
00:26:44 Speaker 3
Let him in. Behold, he stands at the door and knocks so open up and make room for him today.
00:26:53 Barbara Carmack
Praise God, that is.
00:26:55 Barbara Carmack
We are going to strive to serve him, to open that door to him.
00:27:01 Barbara Carmack
And see him do marvelous things in our lives.
