Shalom. Today we’re talking about Archery, we’re talking about how to win in life through archery. Now in archery, if any of you know, that’s the bow and arrow game. That’s where you have the bow and the arrow and you draw back and you shoot your arrow at the target that you have. Well, the scripture I have here is from Philippians 3, 14. I press on toward the goal. The goal is our target. I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. We’re aiming at a goal. Every day we have to remind yourself that although the physical realm can distract us, we have to wake ourselves up that we’re in a spiritual realm, a spiritual battle, and we have to use the armor of God to hit the mark of what we’re trying to hit each and every day. So in archery, what do we do in archery? We draw back our bow. We draw back our arrow. and we look for the target and we shoot, the Holy Spirit wants you to know that you are to draw back into the heart of God, into the heart of the Father. Just draw back to get a mind of Christ. and look for your target. The target He has for you and I is heaven above. It’s to follow the Lord God Almighty with all our heart, with all our strength, and to love Him, and to be His witness in this world, to love God, and to love His people. Let’s draw back into the love of the Father. Draw from the love of the Father. Look for the mark. and shoot, your day is gonna be a good day because you have Father God shooting straight at the target for you with his power and his spirit going before you.
