Good morning. Welcome to Victorious Faith. I’m Cherri Campbell. This morning, I’m going to continue sharing with you the message I’ve been sharing with you all this week that I preached in one of our Victorious Faith services in a series of messages called, What is the Word? And this is part one, God. So join me now in our live service for the continuation of this message. What is the word? God. The word can separate your spirit and your soul. But other than that, your spirit and soul are joined. And when your physical body dies, then your third, your three parts, spirit, soul, and body, the body is the flesh house made of the ground. From dust we come and to dust we shall return. Mortal, your spirit is immortal. Your body is mortal and it will go to the ground again when your spirit departs from the body. But your spirit and soul are joined. They will go together. They will stay together for eternity. Never separate your spirit and soul together. Go either to heaven or hell. And your body goes back to the ground. Then, after the resurrection of the dead, God will come and in the twinkling of an eye, we will be changed. And the mortal will put on immortality. And the body will be glorified. And yes, you will get this body back. People say, I don’t want this body. Yeah, it’ll be perfect. It’ll be beautiful. You’ll get it back, but it’ll be changed. Glorified. Beautiful. extraordinary, magnificent. You’ll be so happy and so pleased. And it will never get sick. It will never ache. It will never get tired. It will be glorified and immortal. But it will be this body. And God has a way. I mean, even if a person, their body sunk to the bottom of the sea, or if they were in a war and they got blown up, Or if they were cremated, people say, well, I don’t want to be cremated because I want my body to come up in the resurrection. You’ll get your body in the resurrection. It doesn’t matter how you go, what they do with the body afterward, cremated or anything. It doesn’t matter because God will pull all the parts together and it’ll all come back together and be changed in the twinkling of an eye and be glorified. The mortal will put on immortality and it will be a glorified body. It’ll be beautiful and you’ll still look like you. But you’ll be so much better looking. So much better looking. Beautiful, handsome, strong, youthful, glorious, bright and shining. Beautiful. Everybody that goes up, not those that go down to hell, but those that go up. And so your body will be raised and be joined and your spirit and soul will be joined and brought back into the glorified body. That’s after God raises us from the dead. We will get this body back. So we are spirit, soul and body. So we are three part triune being also. Because God is triune being father, son, and Holy spirit. All right. So back to Genesis chapter one, we see in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. So that’s God creating the heavens and the earth. And that’s actually, we would see that as the picture of the father. Verse 2, now the earth was formless and empty or void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and who is it here? The Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. Here we see the Spirit, third member of the Trinity. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And verse 3. And God said, Light be. And light was. When God said, In the beginning was the Word. The Word was with God. And the Word was God. And then we go on to John 1.14. The Word became flesh. So Jesus is the word. So right here, verse 3, we actually see the manifestation of Jesus. Genesis 1, 3. Genesis 1, 1, we see the Father. Genesis 1, 2, the Spirit of God hovered over the waters. Genesis 1, 3, God said, the word is Jesus. The manifestation of Jesus. So we see Jesus in verse 3. father, son, and Holy spirit. And then I also had here for you, Genesis three, 14 and 15. And God said unto the serpent and Satan was embodied in the serpent because you have done this. God said to Satan, You are cursed above all cattle, above every beast of the field. Upon your belly shall you go and thus shall you eat all the days of your life. Verse 15. And I will put enmity between you and the woman and between your seed and her seed. Singular meaning Jesus. It, Jesus, the seed, will bruise your head. You will bruise his, Jesus, heel. This is actually the first word. As soon as Satan deceived Eve and Adam and Eve sinned, the punishment was declared on Satan. Jesus is going to crush you. Jesus, actually, that I think might even be more of a crushing in that word bruise, will crush your head. You watch out now. You just asked for it, buddy. There’s going to be someone coming who’s going to crush you. This is the first prophecy about Jesus coming to crush Satan. Right after Satan dies. Tempted Eve. Praise the Lord. God just said, ha, you thought you did it, but you just asked for it. You just asked for your demise. I’m going to send somebody and he will crush your head. And so Satan had nothing to do, but look over his shoulder. I mean, talk about living in fear. From that moment on, anybody born could have been the one. That’s another reason why the righteous were persecuted and killed. It could have been another reason Satan inspired Cain to kill Abel. Not only was Cain jealous, but Satan is looking around. Who is it? Who is it? We got to kill him. Abel. Oh, he’s a righteous man. He loves God. It might be him. Kill him. The prophets came. Might be them. Kill him. I mean, anybody that was righteous and good, he tried to kill him because it might be the one. That man might be the one who is going to crush me. I got to kill him first. And so that’s why another reason, not just the hatred, but also trying to save his own neck from being crushed. Because he knew somebody was going to come and try to crush him. And he had to make sure he tried to wipe him out first before he got wiped out. So Satan was, from that moment on, having to watch continually for the one. The one. who would crush him. And that’s the first prophecy of Jesus. And then over the next 4,000 years, there was 4,000 years from Adam to Jesus. I think it’s about 2,000 from Adam to Abraham and Moses. And then another 2,000 from Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses. In that area somewhere, another 2,000 years then to Jesus. So that was 4,000 years from Adam to Jesus. And during those 4,000 years, prophets kept prophesying about the Messiah coming. The Messiah is coming. The Messiah is coming. There’s one coming. He’s going to save Israel. He’s going to redeem you. He’s going to save you. He’s going to be your deliverer. And it’s going to crush your enemies. 4,000 years of prophecies. God kept saying, I’m sending someone to earth. In Galatians 4.4, it says, but when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth his son. born of a woman, born under the law. So notice the fullness of time had to come. It took 4,000 years and all those prophecies. We talked about the prophecies that were fulfilled in the series on the authority and preeminence of God’s word. And there’s over 300 prophecies about Jesus. We also talked about those prophecies and one of our Christmas messages about about God sending his word and it being fulfilled in the birth and life and death and resurrection of Jesus. Over 300 prophecies, well over 300, like can be, some say 350, but scriptures at the Old Testament that prophesy about Jesus specifically. And they all came to pass. The ones that were about his first coming came to pass perfectly. And so the time had to come for those prophecies to be fulfilled. but the fullness of time had to come. So for us, God has given us promises, but we still have to wait for the fullness of time. You know, there’s one thing I’ve learned and I don’t like it any more than anybody else does, but there are certain things in our lives that That are more like landmarks in our lives. Events in our lives. That God had planned for us before the foundation of the world. When we would experience certain things. Step into certain areas in our life. In our ministry. Could be marriage. It can be ministry. It can be work. It can be a career. Different things that we cannot hurry up the date. as much as we would like to. God, make it happen now. I want it now. Now, God, please. Well, there are certain things that have a fixed date. And they are in regard to events in our lives. I’m not talking about redeemed from the curse. We can be redeemed from the curse every day. So we’re not waiting for a date to be healed. In the future. We can be healed today and every day. Because it’s in our redemption. Every day. Provision for every need. Deliverance and protection from danger. Deliverance from alcohol and drugs. Deliverance. All that stuff is in our redemption. It’s available every day. We need to walk in it. Every day. But I’m talking about events in our lives. That are landmarks. Maybe graduating from college. Getting married. Getting married. getting a career, retiring, changing careers, going to another job. There are certain things, though, that God has tied in those things into his plan for us. And they’re marked on his calendar for our lives. And we say, God, I want it now. I want it now. And Our begging and believing, even true faith and confession, is not going to move that date forward. It’s on the calendar and it’s going to wait for the fullness of time.
