SPEAKER 03 :
Welcome to Call to Freedom. These are going to be hot days. Oh, but I pray that God is warming your heart today. I mean, truly warming your heart for good things to come. When the Lord adds his blessing to your life, there’s no limit to your success. It reminds me of this meeting this last weekend. It was so fun because I talked to Kimberly the day before and I said, well, it looks like we’re going to have about three or four people at the meeting. That’s how it has decreased during summer months. We just don’t have a large group of people, which I am so content about having people. A smaller group of people. I love that because then you can really fellowship. And she said, well, Mom, why do you want to fix tacos? It’s going to be 93 or 94. Why don’t you just go to breakfast at Morning Story? And I was thinking, wow. You know, that’s a good idea. It’s like sometimes Holy Spirit gives us an idea and it’s right there in front of us. And so when the group got there and wound up to be eight of us, it was just so much fun. And we went to Morning Story and they were kind of surprised. But we got into two cars and off we went for brunch. We’re not having breakfast. We’re having brunch. And it was so much fun because the times that we had breakfast at 830, it was kind of a rush because you had to eat between 830 and 930 to get back to the house to have the Bible study and the music. Well, this time last Saturday, we just had a great time. No schedules, no time. Isn’t that amazing when you don’t have any schedule going or or you just have some free time to interact and have fellowship. And our server was just wonderful. Thank you, Jade, for your good service there. And we got back and had a wonderful Bible study. I’m going to talk a little bit about Revelation. I did this a week and a half ago, Revelation and Revolution. But I’m going to be doing this for the next few months, and I just believe it’s going to be a fun time. That’s what I want. I want a fun time for people. We get through our weeks sometimes, and we’re so weary, not just from the news and things, but from what’s going on in our own lives back and forth. That’s why… I realize that the summertime is sometimes people don’t attend it as much because there’s so much going on. And the mountains are so close to us here in Colorado that they are wooing people to the mountains where it’s cooler. So I totally understand. And we’re going to probably in July, July 12th is the deadline. next meeting, going to have brunch. It’s going to be fun. And so I hope that you’ll circle that July 12th and call me then when it’s coming up within the next two weeks before the meeting. Call me at 1-877-917-7256. Just a fun time. I love my friends who come to these meetings. They’re just wonderful, wonderful friends. So it’s just a blessing for me, and I hope it is for all of you who did attend. You are blessed to dispense, for in him you live and move and have your being. I don’t know if you had opportunity to watch the 250th year of the Armed Forces, especially the Army, Saturday as they… Wow, it was like three hours. I didn’t watch the entire three hours. But, oh, my goodness, armor and planes going overhead and helicopters. In fact, they landed some of the Black Hawk helicopters on the lawn. And children were able to go up into the helicopters. And they’re wanting recruiting. Of course they do. So we know that a lot of people are joining, are enlisting. So and if you don’t listen to the news, don’t listen to the regular news because they say the 250th year parade was a failure. No, it wasn’t. It was marvelous. It was absolutely marvelous. Something like that has not happened for a long time. And they were celebrating 250 years of the Army being in existence. And even B-25 flew over and B-17s flew over. It was just really fun. Well, and last Saturday was not only President Trump’s 79th birthday. Happy birthday. But it was Flag Day. And it is a celebration of our American stripes and stars, which have been flown since June 14th, 1777. That’s right. And the Army started before then, but the flag has been flown since June 14th, 1777. And our American flag, even those, you know, it represents the hope and the promise of a nation founded by liberty and an opportunity for all. Even those demonstrating in the streets, you know, they have this freedom. And I’m sad that so many want to destroy. They want to destroy. But I pray that most people will just be protesting and not damaging people’s property. It’s a symbol that does not discriminate based on, and this is the flag, it’s a symbol that does not discriminate based on religion, sex, race, national origin, disability, education, or money. I’m so grateful for the American flag, and as you saw, some of them were spitting on it. Some of them were burning the American flag. It’s so sad because that flag gives them the freedom to even protest. The month of June has been overrun by flags that seek to divide, not unite Americans. These flags exclude many people. The so-called, quote, pride flag is seen in many places and on many businesses. Each color attempts to represent a sexual act. Did you know that? Yep, that’s what it is. Pride flags are very sexual in their meaning. Last January, President Trump issued an executive order, one flag policy, which meant only U.S. flags to be flown at U.S. military and government facilities at home and abroad. The previous administration had flown the excuse me, pride flag on the same pole. They had flown the pride flag – I did not realize this – on the same pole as the U.S. flag at embassies and consulates. Many Americans have not represented by – they’re not represented by the pride flag, which is very divisive. And as you can see, the last four years and even the progressive years before have divided the country like never before. And the pride flag was a tool of bringing more division than ever before. The pride flag promotes the progressive agenda – And in the last few weeks, more people have flown. And I love my Mexican-American friends. I really do. They’re precious people. I love them. And they came and got their citizenship in a legal way. But in the last few weeks, more people have flown the Mexican flag in the streets with a much show of force. And I want to say here… I don’t believe it was Mexicans that were flying these flags. I believe it was people that were paid by an elitist group of progressives who were flying this Mexican flag. And you’ll see them if you watch the news. More of those, you know, since they’re burning the American flag, more of the Mexican flag than ever before. You know, if they like the Mexican flag so much, they need to go home to Mexico. I don’t know. But, you know, they’re they’re waving it around. And most of them aren’t even Mexican. And I’m so grateful God has given me when I need a tree cut down or, for instance, when Matthew and Kimberly died. came and they were improving my yard very much. But they were sawing and they were chopping and they were trimming and got 14 bundles. We’re talking huge bundles. Matthew could hardly carry it to my place along the driveway. I had 14 bundles of branches and leaves. And I said, how am I going to get rid of these? Well, along comes a group of precious Mexican men in a pickup truck. And they said, we would like to have some work that you do. Do you have any work for us? And I said, see those bundles over there? I’ll give you $100 if you take them off my hands. And oh, yeah, in five minutes, boom, they had them in their pickup truck. I mean, they are such precious people. And every time I need a tree chopped down or something else done, God brings Mexicans. Yeah. So thank you so much. You are great workers. And I have so many friends who are Mexicans. Again, about the pride flag. It’s a symbol of the LGBTQA+. And they’ve copied a very colorful symbol for all their acts that they perform. And this colorful symbol is a symbol of the rainbow. And I just get so sad when I see that because the rainbow was created by God and by God alone. And what the pride flag represents is an affront to him. It truly is. And I want to just read a little bit from Genesis 9 about what God said to Noah when for the first time they saw a rainbow in the sky. Oh, I don’t know about you, but when I see beautiful rainbows, if I’m driving, I have to stop along the road or just go out in my backyard and thank God for his wonderful rainbow. Here is what he said to Noah in Genesis 9. I will establish my covenant with you, and all flesh shall never again be cut off by the water of the flood. Neither shall there be again a flood to destroy the earth. This is the sign of the covenant which I am making between me and you and every living creature that is with you for all successive generations. So when God comes to destroy this earth and renew it again, according to the Garden of Eden in Genesis. How is he going to destroy it? Not by a flood, folks. It’s going to be by fire. Yes, fire is very distinct. It is very cleansing. And so he promised Noah this. I set my bow in the cloud and it shall be for a sign of a covenant between me and the earth. It shall come about when I bring a cloud over the earth that the bow will be seen in the cloud. And that’s the rainbow. And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh. And never again shall the water become a flood to destroy all flesh. This is a sign of the covenant which I have established between me and all flesh that is on the earth. And I like what the passion has to say in Genesis 9, verse 13. I have placed my rainbow among the clouds, and it will be a sign of my loving covenant between me and the earth. Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will remember. This is God speaking. I will remember my covenant with you and with every living thing upon the earth. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy life from the earth. When the rainbow is in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant I made with you and every living thing of every kind upon the earth. So we have had floods. Yes, we have had floods around the world and tsunamis that have destroyed villages. But God will never completely cover the earth again with a flood. He promised that and it will never happen, folks. God is so good. I want you to know him as a loving heavenly father who is faithful. He’s faithful and true to everything that he has said in this word of God that appears before me. Oh, it’s so wonderful. And the memory verse for today and for this week is from Romans 1, 16 and 17. I love this. How do we know how people are saved? We go to Romans 10, 9 and 10. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, guess what? You are saved. You’re born again. Praise the Lord. Oh, and he’s promised that salvation to everyone who what? Believes. That’s the word, folks, believes to the Jew first and also to the Greek, to everyone who is not of Jewish ascent. Although if you go back far enough, we’re all we’re all from Abraham, Isaac and Israel. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith, as it is written, but the righteous one shall live by faith. And that faith is believing in Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord. The Passion Translation gives us Romans 1, verse 16. I refuse to be ashamed of the wonderful message of God’s liberating power unleashed in us through Christ. His power is in you, friend. For I am thrilled to preach that everyone who believes is saved. The Jew first and then people everywhere. This gospel unveils a continual revelation of God’s righteousness. I’m going to be talking about revelation. One of the I don’t know if I’ll get through it today or not. But one of these times we’re going to see and we are seeing. Oh, I hear from so many people that people that. Even the Muslims are coming to know the Lord Jesus as their Savior. People that turned away from God to worship Islam and Moloch. And we’re going to see people turning to Jesus Christ. This gospel unveils a continual revelation. of God’s righteousness, a perfect righteousness given to us when we believe. And it moves us from receiving life through faith to the power of living by faith. This is what the scripture means when it says we are right with God through life-giving faith. I’m going to talk to you about revelation, receiving a revelation through faith and And then that power of that revelation becomes a revolution in each and every one of us. Each one of us needs to be changed. I don’t mean to hinder you in any way. You think you’re perfect or something? Not, we’re not. And we each need to change. And some of you have some habits you need to change. Some of you have been in such a routine that you’ve dug a trench around your property. And you have been in the same routine, the same kind of schedule for years. And God wants you to fix it. He wants you to change. Well, you know, the Bible is chock full of things we must watch for. And for the most part, what we say and how we say it. I can remember as a teenager, I was very sarcastic in my remarks. I don’t know how that came about. It’s a lot like when you find your children or grandchildren saying something like, whatever, after you’ve said a remark, I want you to go and take the trash out, whatever. I want you to do this for tonight, whatever. That little remark riles people, just that simple, whatever. And sarcasm refers to the use of words that mean the opposite of what you really want to say, especially in order to insult someone or to show irritation or just to be funny. Some people are sarcastic because they want to hear you laughing, but most of the time it’s cutting. For example, if you go to a friend’s home and it’s totally disorganized, you might say sarcastically, well, you’ve got everything in order, don’t you? And see, it causes laughter for a moment, but then it cuts deep. Most often, sarcasm is biting and intended to cause pain. Irony can also refer to the use of words that mean the opposite of what you really want to say. I’m sure you tried your hardest to get here on time. And that can be a real issue when you’re on a schedule. But irony can also refer to a situation that is strange or funny because things happen in a way that seems to be the opposite of what you expected. It’s like, okay, something ironic. When I was in college, I said, I’m never going to marry a farmer. because I was raised on a farm, I know. Oh, I know. It’s a gamble. You’re praying against hail. You’re praying that the crops won’t fail. You’re just praying all the time. Or I’m not going to marry a pastor. That’s ironic, because ironically, I did marry two men who were, in a sense, pastors over people. In fact, there was a precious little church in northeastern Colorado that asked him to be the pastor of their church, and we were really thinking about that. before we got into the retail store of selling pianos and organs. So that’s irony. If someone who was raised by professional musicians, but who wanted a very different kind of life, then fell in love with or married a professional musician. That’s irony. Well, Proverbs 18.21 says, Our words are so powerful that they will kill or give life. And the talkative person will reap the consequences. When you don’t think about what you’re going to say, you just blurt it out. Sometimes it comes out as sarcasm. Sometimes it’s very ironic about how you’re talking to people. Words kill. Words give life. They’re either poison or fruit. And who chooses it? You do. When you open your mouth without thinking about what you’re going to say or about thinking about how that person that you’re talking to is going to take that, then it really can hurt that person. It can be very cutting. It can kill or it can give life. God, our father, wants our words to be sweet incense to those who hear. I’m afraid that my words have not always been pleasing to the hearer because of my past with sarcasm. At times, that sarcasm comes from an angry soul, one who feels that they’ve been cheated in life. God, our Father, tells us to come into his presence where we’ll find joy at its fullest. But when we’re down and depressed, how many times do we go to the Father? Maybe it’s that spirit of unworthiness or shame or fear. That’s not the first place we go, to the Father. No, it isn’t. We go and take a… or we take something that will help to calm our nerves, we don’t go to the Father. Whatever it is, it’s not from God. It’s the shame, the unworthiness, because his gifts of joy and peace come straight from the upper room. James 1, 17 and 18 says, “…every desirable and beneficial gift comes out of heaven.” The gifts are rivers of light cascading down from the Father of light. There’s nothing deceitful in God. Do you see that? Nothing deceitful in God. Nothing two-faced. Nothing fickle. Nothing sarcastic. And so many years ago, I said, Father God, you take this sarcasm out of my life. I don’t want to hurt anybody. And he has really worked with me. Praise God. Oh, we are pliable and workable and flexible, friend. Say with me, I am flexible. That’s right. I am flexible. He brought us to life using the true word, showing us off as the crown of all his creatures. And do you see yourself as a crown? The world may categorize us as mammals and part of the animal kingdom, but we are not. We’re fearfully and wonderfully made and created by the very hand of God. You are so special and unique. And God has something so revelatory for you. He is doing something brand new for you. I mean, I hope that you feel today by listening to me that something good is going to happen in your life very soon.
SPEAKER 02 :
I just feel like something good is about to happen. I just feel like something good is on its way. He has promised that he’d open all of heaven. And brother, it could happen any day. When God’s people humble themselves and call on Jesus And they look to heaven expecting as they pray I just feel like something good is about to happen All the things he has in store for those who pray. I just feel like something good is about to happen. every day yes i’ve noticed all the bad news in the paper and it seems like things are bleaker every day but for this child of god it makes no difference because it’s bound to get better either way well I’ve never been more thrilled about tomorrow Sunshine’s always bursting through the skies of gray I just feel like something good is about to happen And brother, this could be the busy day I just feel like something good
SPEAKER 03 :
I hope you can realize that God has something good for you, my friend. Really good. I know we live in a chaotic world. I just heard this morning that Israel went over and bombed out all of the state communications, all the news networks there in Iran. I mean, people were running… Israel is giving a statement to these people. You either deal with us and have a talk with us about no nuclear warheads, or we’re going to continue doing this to you. And I am all for pro-Israel. I truly am, because they have been spying. They know that Iran has in bunkers deep down into the earth brought together all the things that make a nuclear warhead. And that’s why we need talks between Iran and between Israel. Israel wants those talks. And we’re just praying that Iran… That’s a good thing. I want you to pray that Iran will be able to have talks with Israel in a decent and discreet way, and that we’ll see some peace before Jesus comes back. I know countries are going to surround Israel, but we need a peace because people need to find Jesus Christ as their Savior. So I just simply want to tell you, friend, that you are so special and unique, and God has something very special for you. He’s just a God of wonder, a God who is just marvelous, more than wonderful. I just sit sometimes quietly just contemplating what is going on in my life and in your life, my friend. It’s wonderful to know that he has given us revelations, and I just didn’t even get into that today, but I’m going to talk about that. You have had revelations in your life. You’ve either ignored them or you have done something about some of the things that he’s wanting to change in your life, transforming you into his image and likeness in spirit, soul, and body. I’m going to talk about that tomorrow. It’s so exciting to know what he has planned for each and every one of you. God bless you and keep you. And I want to say, as I do every day into your life, take joy.
