SPEAKER 01 :
Good morning. Welcome to Victorious Faith. I’m Cherri Campbell. This morning I’m going to continue sharing with you the message that I began sharing with you yesterday that I preached in one of our Victorious Faith services called God Loves Me. I trust that you will get more revelation and comprehension of this truth in your heart. It needs to be grounded in our hearts. You know, every Christian has heard the words God loves me, but every doubt and every fear, every worry, every anxiety about anything is because there is not enough revelation that God loves you and that God will deliver you. God wants to heal you. God will meet your needs. God will take care of you. Your faith must be grounded in his love for you. So I encourage you study and meditate on these scriptures and on this truth. And join me now in our live service for the continuation of this message. God loves me. So if God already had angels and the Bible says in innumerable company, thousands, thousands, more than human beings, more angels than human beings, why would he need to make people? If he already had angels worshiping him and serving him and they were innumerable, that wasn’t why he made us. We do worship him. Why did God make us then? Because God wanted a family. The angels were not his kids. The angels were not his kids. The angels were not family. They were servants. and of a different kind of creation. They were not made in his image. So God made mankind in his image. Do you know how much in his image we are? Jesus, it says in multiple scriptures, Colossians, Hebrews, Jesus is the exact image of the father. Jesus was a human being. That means God has two arms. He has two legs. He is not a four legged creature. God doesn’t have wings. God does not have 12 fingers and 12 toes. He has 10 fingers. Ten toes, two hands, two arms, two legs, two feet. He does not slither on the ground. I’m naming gods that are worshipped in other countries. Snakes, four-legged creatures. I was in a country, and you probably have seen the picture. Looks like an elephant with eight arms. God does not look like an elephant, does not have a trunk, does not have eight arms. We are made in his image. So he looks like us. More exactly, we look like him. Jesus is the exact image. Now we all look alike in that we are the same species, right? But we all look different. We have a little different hair, eyes, nose, ears. We’re a little bit different, but we’re all the same. Jesus is the exact image of the father. So you want to know what the father exactly looks like? Look at Jesus, his color hair, his color eyes, his shape of nose, his shape of lips and ears. He is the exact image, it says in Hebrews chapter 1. And so we are the exact image of God. We are his kids. We are his offspring. Even as Paul preached on Mars Hill in Athens, we are his offspring. And many scriptures, we are sons of God. So That’s why God made us because he wanted a family. He wanted kids. Now, how many of you have kids and you love your kids? God has kids. We are his kids and he loves us. Now God is love. First John four, eight last part of the verse says God is love. Love is not satisfied until it is expressed. God needed someone to, To express his love to. God needed someone to express his love to and pour his love on. God created man in his own image and likeness to be able to give love and receive love like him. Genesis 126. Then God said, let us make man in our image and in our likeness. That means that we are made in the image of love. God is love. We are made in God’s image. We are made in the image of love. We were made by love for love. So I want you to grasp this. This hit home to my heart. One time, our highest calling and our highest purpose is to love. First Corinthians 13. If I speak in tongues but have not love, I’m a sounding gong. If I prophesy and have gifts of knowledge and wisdom but have not love, it’s nothing. If I give everything I have to the poor and give my body to be burned but have not love, it profits nothing. So nothing else you accomplish in life has any value or worth if there’s no love. I wrote it down one time on a piece of paper and kept it in front of me. My highest calling and highest purpose in life is to love. Love God and love people. I encourage you to keep that in the forefront of your thinking. Do it like I did for a while. Even I had it like put it on your mirror in your bathroom, put it on your microwave and places you look at regularly say my highest calling and my highest purpose in this life is to love, love God and love people. But you cannot do it without receiving his love first for you because you cannot give what you do not have. You cannot give what you do not have. So if you don’t receive, and that means receive the comprehension of his love. Yeah, we all still receive the benefits of his love where he meets our needs and stuff. But if it’s not registering up here and in here, in our heart and in our mind, then we’ll go on having a hard time loving people. because we haven’t absorbed the comprehension of receiving his love. So that’s why it’s so important what I’m teaching you tonight and to keep it going in your heart every day, because you cannot give what you don’t have, what you did not first receive it. Even during the offering, I said, what do any of you have that you did not receive? Nothing. That’s including love for people. You cannot. You can’t. It’s impossible to love people unless and until you have first received his love and to receive it more and more. That’s why I pray God. stretch, expand our spirit, our heart, our mind, our comprehension to grasp how long and wide and high and deep is your love. Because the more I can contain the understanding of his love, the more I have in me to give his love to other people. So if there’s any difficulty in loving people, the problem is not having received his love for you. Say that again. If there’s any difficulty in loving people, the problem, the root problem is not having received his love. for you. So we’ve got to go back to the groundwork foundation and absorb his love so that we can be like a sponge that is so soaked, sopping. It’s just sopping. You pick it up and it’s just dripping water and anybody pushes on you and love squirts out. Love oozes out. We are to be so full of his love. And that only comes from thinking on it and meditating on it. I mean, as I’m saying this, there’s hardly anything you could think on more. That’s more important than the love of God for you. Because even receiving a healing for yourself will be hard. If you’re not filled up with the revelation of his love. Even receiving a financial need met will be hard if you’re not filled with a revelation of his love for you. So this has to come first. Building faith in his love has to come before building faith for anything else. Because everything comes out of his love. And if we know he loves us as we’re going to get to nothing else, he’ll withhold. He won’t withhold anything, nothing else. He won’t want to give you because he’s given you his love. All these scriptures we’re going to get to, but God made us in his image. So we are made in the image of God. God is love. So we are made in the image of love, right? That means when you look in the mirror, you should see the image of love. I mean, like I said, put it on your mirror. God loves me, but then you can put under it. I’m made in the image of love, which means I am a reflection of him. I also have the image of love. Love is in me. I mean, build these concepts. I’m talking as I’m meditating through this image. sharing my thoughts with you. These are the kind of meditations you need to have. God loves me. I’m made in his image. He is love. I’m made in the image of love and I look like him. So I am the image of love. Let these things just dwell in your heart.
