October Event Guide
In this month’s event guide enjoy the fall weather while you go on a family hike or tour the Air & Space Museum or attend a church fall festival. This guide got something for the whole family to enjoy this October.
Lair O’ The Bear (Idledale): Family-friendly, 2-4 mile hike, on October 4th, through meadows, by streams, and over a bridge. Be sure to bring water, lunch, good walking shoes! Carpool from Colorado Community Church at 9:00am or meet at Lair O’ the Bear at 10:00am. For more information Click Here
55+ Wings Over The Rockies (Highlands Ranch): Join the 55+ Ministry, October 9th, for an exciting visit to the Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum in Denver’s historic Lowry neighborhood! Explore over 100,000 square feet of aviation and space history, featuring iconic aircraft, space vehicles, and fascinating artifacts. Our group will enjoy a personalized tour led by one of our own, offering unique insights into the museum’s impressive collection. After our tour we will walk to a near by restaurant for lunch together.
Cost: Pay at the door $15.95-19.95 + Lunch
Time: Meet at the Museum at 10:00am. Those riding in the van, we will leave CHCC at 9:15am.

Annual Chili Cook-Off (Westminster): Join us for our annual Chili Cook-Off, October 12th. This is a tradition at Novation Church that you don’t want to miss! Everyone is invited to stay after church and enjoy all the delicious chili. You do not need to RSVP to attend. For more information Click Here
Found Collective (Arvada): The Found Collective is coming to Denver October 24-25th. Do you sometimes feel out of place at faith gatherings? There’s a common stereotype that women always have everything under control. Found Collective breaks this mold. Each Found Collective gathering is a cross-generational community of women, from all ages and stages of life, who are leaning into Jesus together. Our prayer is that with this event, our eyes will be opened to realize that He is all we need. For more information Click Here
Trunk or Treat Street (Littleton): All are invited for a Trunk or Treat Street on Saturday, October 25 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. outside on the church campus! All volunteers will be dressed in family-friendly costumes and participants are encouraged to do the same. If you get hungry or want to take a break, stop by one of the food trucks. All children must be accompanied by an adult while participating.
The Trunk or Treating portion is reserved for kids 2-year-olds – 6th grade. For more information Click Here
Family Fest (Aurora): Come join us for a FREE family-friendly event on October 31st from 5-8 pm at Calvary Church Colorado! There will be carnival rides, games, inflatables, face painting, candy, and food trucks! Open to all ages! There is something for everyone!
