In this enlightening episode, Cherri Campbell delves into the significance of favor in our lives and how it serves as a gateway to opportunities that most individuals might never access. Drawing on biblical examples and teachings, Cherri explores how one can cultivate and receive favor by walking in love, practicing humility, and exercising faith. This is a profound discussion that underscores the power of graciousness and the law of sowing and reaping to experience the divine favor of God.
SPEAKER 01 :

And also I invite you to subscribe to my channel as the more subscribers we get, then the more people are drawn to the channel. Now join me in our live service for the conclusion of this message, Favor. Favor opens doors. Favor opens doors. And then last, this is number 12. Favor gives you benefits that most people are not allowed. Let’s just think of Mary. Luke chapter one. I love this passage. Luke chapter one. How many people became the mother of the Savior? Only one, only one woman in the whole young girl in the whole world was chosen. Luke one verses 30 to 33. But the angel said to her, do not be afraid, Mary. You have found favor with God. You will be with child and give birth to a son and you are to give him the name Jesus. He will be great and he will be called the son of the most high. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father, David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever. His kingdom will never end. An opportunity nobody else was allowed. And there’s other things like that. I mean, it could be anything, but an opportunity that most people never get, just like a door that most people never get to go through. An opportunity most people will never get, but God can give it to you. So these are just some things that favor can do and favor will do the things for you that you need to get you what you need to have and to get you into the places you need to go to. Favor will do it. Praise God. So how do you receive favor? This is so important. How do you receive favor? Number one, walk in love. Your character. can earn and win you favor or lose your favor. Your character can earn and win you favor or lose your favor. Walk in love. And we actually read this in Proverbs 3, verse 3 at the beginning, let love and faithfulness never leave you. Verse 4, then you will win favor. Again, also understanding walking in love with that is being gracious. And let me add at this point, let me say it like this. Sowing and reaping. Sow favor and you reap favor. Be gracious. You will reap grace. sow favor, you will reap favor. But so many times being, having a gracious, pleasant attitude, tone, kindness can earn you favor. Whereas the opposite of that, rudeness will destroy your favor and cause you to lose favor. You know, you’ve heard of people getting rude anywhere, whether it’s a restaurant with a waiter, a server, and you start getting rude. Guess what? The more rude you get, the worse service you’re going to get. It’s not going to help you. And in businesses, you go into a business and you’re at the service counter and you need help. And if you get mad, and start getting rude, you are going to be losing favor. Some people think they can demand their rights. You know what? You can’t demand favor. you lose favor. And this is so important that I know you know it, but I want you to turn anyway to James chapter four, James chapter four. This is a big key. James four, six. He gives us more grace. You could also say favor. That is why scripture says God opposes who the proud, but gives grace to who? the humble. And the next verse says, submit yourselves then to God. Notice then God gives grace to the humble. So what do you do in verse seven? What’s seven say? Submit yourself to God. So humility is submission. Humility is lowering yourself and coming under recognizing someone else is over. You. That’s humility. Now, you submit yourself first to God. The Bible says in Ephesians 5, wives submit to your husbands. Do you know right before that verse it says submit one to another? It says submit one to another. So it’s everybody submitting to everybody. It’s everybody not demanding I’m the boss and I get my way, but everyone yielding. to grant the position of you’re over me, I’ll let you choose, that kind of thing. Submit to one another. Well, think about you’re in a business and you need service. You go to the service counter. Pride demands, I need this this way right now by this time. You’re supposed to do it. Well, what attitude is that? That is, I’m over you and I’m telling you what to do. Are you going to get favor that way? No. So what is humility? Humility is submitting or coming under. I know you can do this or I know you’re busy. What are you doing? You’re lifting that person up, giving them the honor, giving them the respect. I know you’re busy. I know your schedule is tight, but I need this. Can you make any way for it to happen? And now you are giving them the place of honor, the place of that authority over you and asking for favor. But with a pleasant, humble attitude, God can move in their heart to give you the favor you need. So pride is exalting yourself and demanding your way and you will lose favor most of the time. But humility is coming under honoring others, being pleasant, patient, and kind, and requesting a need, something you need, a favor to be granted for you. And it’s God moving in their heart to give you that favor. It’s something you cannot demand. You can never demand favor. It is no longer a favor. It becomes an obligation. You can never demand favor. It is no longer a favor than it is an obligation. So what you need, it actually takes faith. This is number three. So number one, walk in love. Number two, humble yourself. That is walking in love. And I also mentioned number three, sowing and reaping. So, so lots of favor, kindness and graciousness to people. But then number four, use your faith because it takes faith to receive favor because it’s out of your hands. You’re putting it into that other person’s hands. You’re looking, asking them to be moved on in their heart for you to give you a special granted request or something. And so it’s, you can’t demand it. It’s no longer a favor. It becomes an obligation, but that’s why it takes faith because Because now you’re asking God, God, you put it in their heart. To grant this for me. And I take my hands off. I’m not in control of this situation. I’m humbling myself. I’m asking for your favor to move on them to them to have favor to me. It requires faith. So to get favor, you need faith. Ask and believe God and receive it by faith. Hebrews 416. Come boldly to the throne of God. Grace, favors and gifts come boldly to the throne of God’s grace, free gifts and favors to obtain mercy, what you don’t deserve and find grace, all the things you need in time of need. So you go to the throne of free gifts, the throne of God’s benevolence. You go to his throne to receive everything you need in your time of need to receive mercy, what you don’t need and get the gifts that you do need in your time of need. Romans 5, 1 and 2. We gain access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. Access by faith into favor. And then Mark 11, 24, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it and it will be yours. Matthew 7, 7, ask and you shall receive. So first of all, you have to ask, ask God and ask the person you need the favor from. And then you exercise your faith. Lord, I’m coming boldly to your throne. I’m asking for favor. I’m asking you to move in this person’s heart to be favorable toward me, to grant my request. And so then you believe you receive whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it and it will be yours. And lastly, then you can confess daily that the favor of God is on your life. That’s why I close my radio program. If you listen to it, how do I say that? You are blessed and highly favored by the Lord. And so I declare that over the listeners, but hoping that you’ll pick it up and say the same thing. And there are times people ask me, how are you? I would say, I am blessed and highly favored by the Lord. How are you? I’m blessed and highly favored by the Lord. And so you can confess the blessing and favor of God on your life and believe that you receive it that way. So confessing it and speaking it over yourself and that confession, you’re blessed. Say it over other people and say it over yourself and say it every day. That’s why it’s every day on the program. So praise the Lord. We need favor, but we need to humble ourselves before God and man to receive favor and walk in love and kindness and so favor and use our faith. Amen. Praise God. Let’s close. Father, we thank you and praise you for your favor that you have upon us. We have been saved by grace through faith and you have taken pleasure in preparing for us a future that in the ages to come that will pile themselves upon one upon the other. You will show. the great riches of your grace and favor toward us who believe. So Lord, we thank you for your great grace and favor on us. And as we go out, we will also be walking in grace and favor and being gracious and favorable to others. We thank you father for it in Jesus name. Amen.
