Greetings, friends and new listeners, and welcome to this program of the R.G. Hardy Ministries. I’m Sharon Knotts, thanking you for joining us today as we know that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Today’s message by my father, Brother Hardy, is from his classic series, New Creations, Sons of God. A hallmark scripture of Christians is 2 Corinthians 5.17. If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature. And this new creature is a son of God or a child of God. You see, the term son of God in New Testament scripture is not a gender determiner, but rather a legal position, which Brother Hardy explains and so much more in this in-depth teaching, New Creation, Sons of God.

All right, today we want to speak on the subject, where we are in Christ. And if you have your Bibles, if you want to read with me from the first chapter of Colossians, in the 12th, 13th verse. Giving thanks unto the Father, which has made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light, who have delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son. First of all, I want to preach a little bit where we’re not. We’re not in the kingdom where Satan rules. We’re not under the dominion of the devil anymore. But God has reached down in the kingdom where Satan rules, picked us up, translated and transported us and put us into the kingdom of His dear Son where Jesus rules. So the Christian has no basis on which to be afraid of the devil. I said the Christian has no basis for his fear of being afraid of the devil. we’re not where the devil is we have been translated and transported out of his realm and put into the kingdom where Jesus is the Lord and is the master and has full and complete power no wonder Jesus said let not your heart be troubled Neither let it be afraid. I’m not going to be troubled. I’m not going to be fearful. I have nothing to be fearful of. I have nothing to be afraid of because I am not in the dominion in the rain where satan rules and has sway thank god i’m in the kingdom of the dear son of god the lord jesus christ where he has all power in heaven and in earth where he reigns where he is supreme that’s what paul meant in romans the tenth chapter the ninth and the tenth verse that we base our salvation that if we will confess with our mouth and believe in our hearts we shall be saved because with the heart man believes unto and that means into righteousness into a state of righteousness Paul likes to use that rather than the term salvation and he usually reserves the term salvation for the end of our faith when we shall be changed in a moment in a twinkling of an eye at the rapture resurrection. But he likes to call the present Christian state of a Christian righteousness and justification. We are in a state of righteousness, and with the heart we believe until we’re righteous. And now that we’re in a state of righteousness, we confess that Jesus is the Lord. Jesus is my Lord. The devil is not my Lord. Demons are not my Lord. The world’s not my Lord. Man’s not my Lord. Jesus is my Lord. The devil doesn’t have power over me. The world doesn’t have power over me. Man doesn’t have power over me. It’s the Lord that’s the only one that has power over me. For I am now only in the kingdom of where Jesus reigns and rules. And I believe he said in another scripture in Romans, for the kingdom of God is not meats and drinks, it’s not just a lot of rituals, not the old Jewish feast days of just feast and rituals and meats and drinks, but it’s righteousness, peace, joy in the Holy Ghost. You should be dwelling in an atmosphere and have an attitude of righteousness. Amen. An atmosphere of peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. Hallelujah. Jesus is my Savior. He is not going to become my Savior. He is my Savior right now. Hallelujah. And he is not going to deliver me. The Lord is not going to deliver me from the power of sin. The Lord is not going to deliver me from the power of the devil and man. For the Lord has already did that when I believe. Hallelujah. I am delivered. Amen. am delivered not only from the power of the devil but out of his very kingdom and domain if we check the preposition in the Greek where we translate the scripture we have been delivered from the power of the devil the from is a preposition X and X means out of If he meant just from, he would have used the preposition apo, A-P-O. And the best illustration that I know about that is, like being in a building. And it has a firewall, maybe like here, in our church here, to separate us from the other part of the building, we could have a firewall. And the other part of the building could catch on fire. And then we would put the firewall and close the entrance and we would have it sealed. And we would be protected from the fire. That’s the preposition apo. But the preposition ek is just like on that door. You see over that door it says E-X-I-T. Now what in the world does ek mean? How many say amen? I can figure out what it means, but what does ex mean? You see, that’s that Greek preposition ek. It means out of it. If you want to go out of this building, you go out of it. And God has not only delivered us from the power of darkness, the Lord has not only delivered us from darkness, Satan’s power and left us in the realm where he has the authority and power, God has taken us completely out of his kingdom. I’m not only saved from the devil, I have been transported out of the realm where he rules. I’m not only in the building protected by a firewall from the fire, I’ve walked out the door and I’m on the outside and I’m not in the building any longer. And that’s what God has done. He has delivered us out of, he has not delivered us from the devil, but he has delivered us out of the power of the devil. I guess you could illustrate that another way too. Like during the war, we had some of our, maybe our agents or some of our important men captured by the enemy and imprisoned. The government devised a plan where they would send in special forces to take and deliver them, set them free from the enemy, and they were in jail and well guarded. But all the special forces paratrooped in by night, using all of their weapons in secrecy, broke into the prison, found out the cells where all of the Captives were, broke the cell door open, took them out of the cell, broke them out of the prison compounds, and then they were running to get to the plane. Now that would be delivered from the power of the prison. But they were still in the enemy’s territory. And that meant that the enemy could overtake them and recapture them again, like a lot of them did, and kill them. But oh, brother, we’re not only been liberated out of our prison house, for Jesus said the anointing was upon him to open up the door of the prison house and let the oppressed go free. He not only opened our door up, pull us out of the prison house oh we’re not no longer running some people say pray for me I’m running from my life I’m not running from my life my life is safe Paul said in Colossians the third chapter said if you be risen with Christ seek those things which are above where Christ should have on the right hand of God for you are dead in other words the word death means separated you are separated from the world and the power of the devil, and your life is hid with Christ in God. I’m not running from my life, I have life. And my life is hid or protected in Christ in God. And the Bible said, so that when Christ, who is my life, shall appear, then shall I also appear with him in glory. so jesus hasn’t forgive me of my sin and open up my prison house of sin and left me to run in the domain in the kingdom of satan with perchance that he might overtake me and recapture me No, he has reached down into the kingdom of the devil and took me out and placed me into the kingdom of his dear son where there is only righteous ones, which means I have nothing to fear, nothing to be afraid of, and there is only peace and joy in the Holy Ghost where I can enjoy my salvation and I’m going to enjoy it. Hallelujah. That’s something to get happy about. He said, you full gospel folks, get happy. I’ve got something to be happy about. I’m happy with Jesus. I’m thrilled with salvation. I like everything about salvation. I am not disappointed and dissatisfied with anything in salvation. I like it all. I like everything about being in the kingdom of the dear Son of God. I like being righteous. Some folk don’t like being righteous. A whole lot of them would like to get into the kingdom of God if they just could keep some pet sin. But I’m glad that God made it righteousness and I’m in the kingdom of righteousness which means I don’t have to be afraid of anybody trying to put their pet sin on me. I don’t have to be afraid of anybody going to do some evil to me because it’s only righteous folks in that kingdom. Therefore, I got peace. I don’t have to worry about somebody sneaking up on me and doing some harm to me. And then I got the joy of the Holy Ghost. And the joy of the Holy Ghost is my strength. A whole lot of people are under the influence or under the thought that the Lord is in the process of saving them. And maybe the process will fail. and they won’t completely be saved. They’re running from the enemy from the prison, but they’re still in his territory. And the enemy might overtake them and reconquer them again and put them in the prison house. My brother and sister, the only way that you can get back on the devil’s territory is for you to willfully leave the kingdom of the Son of God and go back to the devil on his own. because the devil can’t pluck you out of the hand of Jesus. The devil can’t come in over the wall of the blood to get you. There is a line of demarcation and the line is the blood of Jesus. Nobody can come on the other side of the blood unless they come through the blood. And if the devil comes through the blood to get me, he’s no longer a devil if you please. hallelujah so i’m safe and that’s what jesus said in the 10th chapter of john said no one’s able to pluck you out of my hand say where are we at i’m in the hand of the lord and the right hand of the lord is always typology for his power God said, I’ll look for some to deliver and have found none. Then he said, my own right hand have gotten me salvation and victory. So the right hand of God typifies his power. And Peter put it that way and said, we are they that are kept by the power of God through faith. As long as we keep our faith in the Lord and in His power, then there is no power that can seize us out of His hand. And that Greek word, it means violently. No violent force can violently overcome the power of God and pull us out of His hand and destroy us. Because Jesus said, all power in heaven and in earth is given unto me. And brother and sister, we are safe in the hand of Jesus where there’s only righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. He has. He’s done it. It’s already been accomplished. what the devil does is fight a cold war and especially takes advantage of people that do not know the word that’s why Jesus said knowing the word is deliverance he said you shall know the truth and when you come to the knowledge of the truth and believe it then the truth shall make you free and the devil plays on people’s ignorance They do not know and realize that they are safe in the Lord, and the devil comes around with a spirit of fear and tells them that they’re gonna be overcome by the devil, they’re gonna be overcome by sin. You can’t be overcome by sin unless you want to sin. When you get saved, John said, to as many, or to everyone that receives him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God. We could have translated that word power, the might and the right. God gives us the right and he gives us the might to become sons of God. Hallelujah. And when Jesus gets in us, greater is he that is in us than he that is in the world, if you please. So I’m not afraid of the devil. You see, if the devil could have gobbled you up, and nothing could have stopped him, you’d have never made it to the church this morning. How many say amen? But you made it to the church because God has got you all hedged up with his omnipotence. And being that God is omnipotent, being that our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, is omnipotent, then there is not another power that can overpower him. You see, when you have all power, then no other lesser power can defeat you. But the devil fights a cold war and tries to get you to fear. And that works on people that don’t know the truth. But oh, thank God I know the truth. Hallelujah. I’m in the truth. My life is here with Christ in God. You know what? Head. What would be the perfect illustration? Again, the 10th chapter of John, Jesus said, no man, no one’s able to pluck you out of my hand. And then to strengthen that, he said, the Father is greater than all, and no one’s able to pluck you out of my Father’s hand. So here we are in the hand of Jesus, and Jesus closes it, and then sticks him, and you and I, in the hand of the Father, hid with Christ in God. We’re hid. And if the devil could get where we were, he can’t find us. Because we’re hid. Let me show you how big the hand of Jesus is. when John was on the rocky out of Patmos and got into the spirit on the Lord’s day and he heard as it were a voice like a trumpet behind him Sam I’m alpha and Omega the first and the last the beginning and the end I am he that was dead but behold look at me I’m alive forevermore and I have the keys and I have the authority Jesus has it and when he looked he saw the Lord with seven stars in his hand Jesus’ hand is so big that it can have seven stars in it. and they tell me the earth is about 25,000 miles around and if we would still have pi 3.1416 or 22 sevens then that means that the earth is about 7,000 miles high and Jesus his hand is so big that he’s got seven stars in his hand over 7,000 miles high and we’re in there and if the devil could get where we were we’re like a speck in the hand of Jesus he couldn’t find us It would take him for eternity to eternity to try to find us, to try to do some evil. But he can’t get up to the hand of Jesus, much less try to find us, because we are kept, there’s a barrier. The power of God, we have the force field around us. And they use a saying of this 20th century, the force is with us, if you please. The power of God is with us. Why don’t you praise him? Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
