SPEAKER 01 :
Welcome to Victorious Faith. I’m Cherry Campbell. This week is Partnership Week and I’m sharing with you a message called Kingdom of God Partnership. So join me now for the continuation of this lesson, Kingdom of God Partnership. Now, who should be involved in Kingdom Partnerships? Matthew chapter six, verses 31 to 33. So do not worry saying, what shall we eat or what shall we drink or what shall we wear? For the pagans run after all these things and your heavenly father knows that you need them. Verse 33, but seek first his kingdom. Now, who is he talking to? He’s talking to all of his disciples, all of the followers of Christ. Today you would say to all Christians, he was speaking to everybody. This was not a sermon just to the 12. This is included in the sermon on the Mount when he had a crowd of thousands and even estimated 10,000 or more people were there during his sermon on the Mount. 10,000 or more. And he’s preaching to all of them, to the masses, you could say today, to the body of Christ. And he was telling every one of them, but seek first his kingdom and his righteousness. And I’ve said before, and I’ve taught this before, take out the E-O-U-S in the middle of righteousness, you get righteousness. And it simply means God’s right ways. God’s right ways. So seek first his kingdom and his right ways. And all these things, what things? What you need to eat, drink, wear, pay your rent or mortgage, your phone bill, your electric bill, your credit cards, your car payment. What you need for your sustenance. will be given to you as well. So notice this. He said, seek first his kingdom and his right ways. And then all these things that you need, your food, water, clothes, home, transportation, money for all of your expenses for living. these things will be given to you as well. We see established here, one of the key principles of the kingdom of God is kingdom of God first. It’s the principle of first. And even in the Ten Commandments, Love the Lord, your God, with all of your heart, soul, mind, and strength. Actually, that’s not what I’m quoting. You’re not the 10 commandments. It’s in Deuteronomy. Love the Lord, your God, with all of your heart, soul, mind, and strength. Well, do you know that in the Hebrew, the Old Testament was written in Hebrew? The New Testament was written in Greek. That the word strength in Hebrew also includes your resources, right? Your supply, that’s part of your strength. And I can go back to other examples. Abraham became wealthy and he was strong in resources and it referred to it as his strength. Isaac and Jacob, their wealth was also referred to as their strength. Different scriptures throughout the Bible, we will see where wealth and money are also representative of a person’s strength. So when it says, love the Lord, your God, with all of your heart, soul, mind, and strength, then strength there is including your resources, your wealth, and your money. What you have is included in your strength. And Jesus said, this is the first and greatest commandment. Love God with all of your heart, soul, mind and strength. And people who say, I love God, but they don’t give financially. Really, they’re lying. Because if you loved God, you would give because giving is the expression of love. It is the greatest expression of love. I should say, you can say, I love you, but words without action are empty. Words without action are empty. Don’t just tell your family you love them. Show them. Well, don’t just tell God you love him. Show him. And the greatest expression of love is giving. For God so loved the world. John 3, 16, that he gave his only begotten son. So God’s greatest expression of love was not just sitting in heaven and saying, I love you. No, he loved so much that he gave his only begotten son. He gave the greatest sacrifice he could possibly give his own son. And so the greatest expression of love is giving. God so loved the world that he gave his only son that our expression, if we love God, we will also express our love in our giving. And if you’re not giving, then you are saying you really don’t have much love. You really don’t love. If you love God, you will give to God. And that means to his kingdom works. You can’t throw money up to heaven. God doesn’t need gold in heaven. He needs his works funded on earth. And so if you truly love God, you will give generously to God. First, as a top priority, love the Lord your God with all of your heart, soul, mind and strength. And this is the first and greatest commandment. And then love your neighbor as yourself. Seek first the kingdom of God and his right ways. And all these things will be given to you. There are multiple scriptures that teach that you should put God first. Even in Proverbs 4, 9 and 10, honor the Lord with your wealth and with your substance and And bring your tithes and offerings. Honor him with your provision, with your wealth, with your money. So putting God first is giving to God. And that is in order to give to God, you give to his kingdom works. And you do it first place before everything else in your life. Top priority, first place, top priority with your time and your money. And you’re giving your service in all areas of your life. You put God first. And when you put him first, that’s when you will see God take care of your things. If you’re putting your things first and paying your bills first and then giving God the leftovers. Do you know that’s exactly what Cain did? That was why God rejected Cain’s offering. Most Christians don’t even realize that, but the language is there in the Hebrew, not as clearly in the English, but it says that Cain, let me turn to it real quickly. In Genesis chapter four, end of verse two into verse three. Now Abel kept flocks and Cain worked the soil. Now there are a lot of Christians who think the reason God rejected Cain’s offering was because it was not blood. that it was grain. That is not true because in Leviticus, I believe it’s chapter 27. It says a tithe of all the grain belongs to the Lord. So God called for the tithe of the grain to be given to him. And so it’s just the tithe of whatever it is that you do for a living. And Abel kept flocks. Cain worked the soil. They were both supposed to give from what they produced. Then the key is in verse three. And in English, it’s the first five words. It says in the course of time. But actually in the Hebrew, and if you do study and have some study references, it’s It says literally, the literal Hebrew says, at the end of days, at the end, keyword right there, end, at the end of days. And days would be season, the growing and the harvesting season at the end of that season, right? Cain brought some of the fruits of the soil as an offering to the Lord. Now, if you’ve ever had a garden and you planted a garden, when do you get the best produce from your garden? At the beginning of the harvest or the end of the harvest? The first of the harvest or the last of the harvest? It’s the first of the harvest, which is the best. I mean, just think of the tomatoes. The first tomatoes of the harvest are the best. The biggest, the juiciest, the most flavorful. The last tomatoes of the harvest, the last to come on the vine, they are the worst. That’s what Cain gave. What you just heard was the continuation of a lesson that I taught called Kingdom of God Partnership. And we will continue this lesson again next week.
