SPEAKER 02 :
Good morning. Praise the Lord. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Welcome to Victorious Faith. I’m Cherri Campbell. This morning, I’m going to continue sharing with you the message that I began sharing with you last week that I preached in one of our Victorious Faith services called The Power of the Blood of Jesus. This is a good sequel to the message that I had shared before that about our blood covenant with God. And so I encourage you get out your pen and paper or go to my YouTube channel and download the notes so you can follow along and join me now in our live service for part three of the power of the blood of Jesus. And John 14 and John 16, he talks about the ministry of the Holy Spirit. And I don’t remember which chapter he talks about this. John 14 and John 16. But in one of them, I think it’s 16, he says that the Holy Spirit has come to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. So he brings conviction of sin, both to the sinner and the child of God. The Holy Spirit there is the one who will prick your heart with a conviction. You shouldn’t have said that. You shouldn’t have done that. And it’s a good thing if you feel a prick. Because if you don’t, it means your heart is too hard. And there are people who have so hardened their heart, they feel no guilt and they feel no conviction of the Holy Spirit anymore. At one time they did, maybe when they were a child. Who knows how early or how young they were when they hardened their heart. Some hardened their heart at a very young age. Some hardened their hearts at teens or 20s. But they get to a place where their heart is so hard, they feel no conviction of the Holy Spirit anymore. Their heart is like seared as with a hot iron, Paul writes. And that’s a sad place to be. But guess what? We can pray for them with the blood. And I’ve heard testimonies of a person praying for a person who is hard-hearted and no… and no guilt, no consciousness of anything being bad, so hard-hearted. And yet somebody prays for them every day that the blood of Jesus washed their heart. The blood of Jesus washed their heart. The blood of Jesus washed their heart. And it’s like that blood just peeled off like layers of an onion until it got down. And one day that person felt the conviction of the Holy Spirit and repented and got born again. And it was the application of the blood by somebody interceding for them. So the blood can peel away like the layers of an onion. The hardness of a heart that cannot feel God. You just keep praying for them. And Lord, I wash their heart in the blood. And when you do this, when you’re praying for others, this is the way I pray. Wash their heart in the blood. I also wash their eyes and their ears because they are symbolic, of course, not physical, but spiritual eyes, spiritual ears that they would see the truth and they would hear the Holy Spirit. So I say, Lord, wash their heart, their eyes and their ears, meaning their spiritual eyes, their spiritual ears, so that they would see the light and the truth and they would hear the voice of the Holy Spirit speaking to them. And so and then the blood of Jesus washed their heart. And you pray for people like that who are hard hearted and who are anybody who’s lost. That’s the best way to pray for the lost is to just pray the blood over their heart, eyes and ears. And I pray the eyes and ears because the Bible, these are key verses. John 8, 32, you will know the truth and the truth will make you free. I’ve been teaching on the radio about who is Satan, what is Satan. Number one, he’s a liar and a deceiver. His number one weapon is deception. The number one way he makes anybody do anything wrong is just through deception. Because if we saw the truth, we wouldn’t even want to do it. Right. So deception is his number one weapon. He’s a liar and a deceiver. And so he is deceiving. And Paul writes about that. He has deceived the people and their minds are blinded and cannot see the truth. Paul writes about that in Corinthians. And how the God of this age, 2 Corinthians 4.4, the God of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers that they would not see the light of the gospel. And so he’s blinded them and deceived them. Why? The devil knows John 8.32. They will know the truth and the truth will make them free. So if they know the truth, they’re going to get free and get out of Satan’s lair. So he keeps them from knowing the truth because the truth will make them free. So that’s why the way to pray for the lost is pray that they see the light and the truth. Therefore, you need to pray over their eyes and their ears and their mind. I do include the mind because there’s where the reasoning, there’s where the confusion is. There’s where the believing of lies is. They believe the lie. And so I pray the blood of Jesus over them. And that’s the way we pray for the lost. And there’s lots of times people are turning to salvation when people are faithfully praying for them by the blood. That they would see the light and the truth. And so the blood brings the cleansing. And back to the point that you want to keep your heart sensitive. tender you don’t want to be hard-hearted and you don’t want to be seared like an iron and so seared as if by an iron so that you don’t even feel the prick of the Holy Ghost convicting you when you’ve done something wrong you want every little prick every little prick I say Lord I want to be so sensitive you tell me that I said something wrong I want to know it if I did something wrong I want to know it correct me Lord You have to, that’s a humble heart too that asks for the Lord’s correction. Most people are too, a lot of people are too proud. They don’t want to be corrected. Don’t tell me I said something wrong. I want to know. Because I want to know the truth and the truth will make me free. And the more I walk in the truth, the more free I am. Because also sin brings death and the death brings the curse. So people don’t realize that through sin, they are getting more of the curse in their life. You open the door to the curse of sin and death when you’re in sin and disobedience. And whether it’s just different things of saying things, I mean, your words cursing you or something like that. it opens the door to death it opens the door to the curse and you don’t want that so Lord show me what am I doing wrong what have I said wrong and keep a sensitive heart that you feel every little prick of conviction you shouldn’t have said that okay Lord I repent I ask you to forgive me wash me in your blood and go on and be free from condemnation then the revelation of the power of the blood then I’m clean I’m washed it’s gone it’s under the blood I am free I’m water than snow thank you Lord And you go on free from condemnation and guilt. And you can live a guilt-free life. Like I said, that’s where I started this little rabbit trail. You can live a guilt-free life either by hardness of heart. And no sense of wrong. And you don’t want that. Or you can live a guilt free life. By being so sensitive to the Holy Spirit. And you’re always walking with the Holy Spirit. And receiving the cleansing of the blood. Every time. You just quickly say. Lord forgive me. Wash me in the blood for that. I repent. Thank you Lord. I’m clean. I’m free. I’m white. I’m pure. And just stay clean that way. Praise the Lord. So the blood provides daily cleansing. Let me just give you quick references. Hebrews 9.22. Hebrews 9.22. 1 John 1.7. 1 John 1.7. Hebrews 9.14. Hebrews 9.14. And Hebrews 10.22. Hebrews 10.22. And the key to this is putting faith in the power of the blood. And the Lord showed me this back when I was in my 20s. Actually, I loved God. I was born again when I was three. I loved God in elementary school. I read my Bible. I memorized scriptures. I was part of a church group on Wednesday nights that the program is you read the Bible, read through the Bible, you memorize verses, and I loved it. But I grew up and even baptized in the Holy Spirit and starting to feel, well, I knew I was called to be a missionary at the age of 12, starting to do some local missions at the age of 16. But I lived under constant condemnation of guilt and not good enough. I mean, I loved it. I read through the Bible through the girls program, not just independently, but in the girls program on Wednesday nights, I read through the whole Bible by the time I was 12 years old. And few Christians can say they’ve read the whole Bible. But I was still under condemnation. And even into my 20s, mid 20s, I was actually, as I recall, I was 26. And actually along that line somewhere I was around earlier 20s. I even had a prophetic word given to me about some things I was called to do. And by the way, get rid of the condemnation. I mean, a prophet spoke to me. Get rid of the condemnation. I mean, that’s some serious condemnation. And one day I was feeling so condemned about something I had said four years ago. I had felt guilty about something I said for four years. I felt so bad because I said it to some people that I should have respected. And when I saw that I was wrong, I felt so bad. That I repented every time I thought of it, and I thought of it thousands of times. And I repented every time. And finally, one day when I was 26, and I had said this when I was 22… And I remember I think I was getting in the car and I remembered what I had said to them. Oh, God, forgive me. I’m so sorry I said that. Probably for the hundred thousandth time or more. I mean, I’ve been saying this every time the thought crosses my mind for four years. The zillionth time I’m saying, Lord, forgive me. And he said, you need to put more faith in the power of the blood and then in the power of your sin. The power of the blood to wash you. You have more faith in the power of what you said than in the power of the blood of Jesus. Like, oh, yeah, okay. I’m like, oh, Lord, okay. I’m not going to have faith in what I said. I have faith in the blood. And I learned then it’s faith in the blood and its power to wash and cleanse me. Not the power of my sin. Nothing, no sin is more powerful than the blood. Hallelujah. The blood is a super stain remover. Praise the Lord. So anyway, the blood, the power of the blood to cleanse. Number two, the power of the blood provides healing. First Peter 2.24, he himself bore our sins in his body on the tree so that we might die to sin again. And live for righteousness. By his stripes you were healed. Or by his wounds you have been healed. By his wounds. Because of the shedding of the blood in the wounds. And by the very fact of the redemption. Or the substitution. He took your place. So that’s why the wounds. And that includes the whipping post. where he was beaten to a pulp. And I have that message on the teaching of the resurrection, what happened from the cross to the throne. But the historical records of what happened to a person, they were basically killed at the whipping post, if they could be. And their flesh was ripped from their bones.
