SPEAKER 02 :
Good morning. Welcome to Victorious Faith. I’m Cherri Campbell. This morning, I’m going to continue sharing with you the message that I’ve been sharing with you for the last couple of programs that I preached in one of our Victorious Faith services called God Loves Me. And if you want to listen to this message again in its entirety or share it with your friends and family, you can go to my YouTube channel, which is under my name, Cherri Campbell. C-H-E-R-R-I, Campbell, C-A-M-P-B-E-L-L. And there in the top category called radio broadcasts, you will see this message called God Loves Me. I believe it is blessing you. It is something that we need to get rooted and grounded deeply in our hearts for our faith to work in any other area. Even if you’re believing God for healing or finances or for your family, you need to be rooted and grounded in the revelation that God loves you so that your faith can work to receive the other things that you need in your life. So I know you’re being blessed by this message. So join me now in our live service for part four of God loves me. But he also wants us to love him back. But we desperately love. his love but we also need to give love so love has to be expressed in both receiving first and giving the love love has to be expressed both in giving and receiving God created man to have someone to love and have friendship with friendship friendship look at that That’s why he walked with Adam in the cool of the day. That’s why he called Abram his friend. He said, Abram is my friend. That’s why he said he talked to Moses face to face. That’s why he called David a man after his own heart. And God wants to walk with you each and every day. He wants to call you his friend. He wants to talk to you, not face to face, but heart to heart. Hallelujah. And he wants you to be a man or a woman after his own heart. He wants friendship, companionship, the exchange of love. Even as I talked about in the blood covenant, It is a marriage. We have a marriage. If you listen to the messages that I did on the blood covenant, we are made one with him. We are married to him. It is a covenantal relationship. And that’s what God wants with us. But we need to focus on receiving his love for us. Now, how else do we know he loves us? Well, I’m going to have to move through these a little bit faster, right? Well, we know God loves us because God made the earth for man. Genesis 1, 26, he created all the livestock, the birds of the air, the fish, the creatures on the ground for a man. Genesis 2, 8 through 15, he planted a garden in Eden and he put all kinds of trees, trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. He put a river there, a river flowing from Eden. And then he said, there is gold in the land of Havilah where there is gold and the gold of that land is good. So God put gold there and said, hey man, this is where the gold is. Go over there. That’s where the gold is. And by the way, it’s good. How would we have known gold was good? Why did people choose that gold would be good? Why? God said it was in the beginning. We wouldn’t have known it was any better than anything else if we hadn’t been told. I mean, why is that better than copper or nickel? Because God said the gold is good. And when he gave us insight in his word about heaven, the streets are paved with gold. God told Moses to make all the, so many of the utensils for the tabernacle and the temple out of gold. God likes gold. If God likes gold, why should it be wrong for any human to like gold when God has said, the gold is good. It’s right over there. Praise the Lord. And so God put man in the Garden of Eden. He gave the Garden of Eden to man and he gave the whole earth to man. Psalm 8, 3 through 8. When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars which you have set in place. I mean, think of the heavens. Think of all the stars, the suns, the moons. Then what is man that you’re mindful, you’re thoughtful about? Of him. The son of man that you care for him. You made him a little lower. And the Hebrew there says a little lower than God, Elohim, not heavenly beings. You made him lower than Elohim, God. and crowned him with glory and honor. You made him ruler over the works of your hands. You put everything under his feet, over all the works of his hands. All the flocks and herds, the beasts of the field, the birds of the air, the fish of the sea, all those from the paths of the seas. He said, here, take the earth. I give it to you under your rule. Why did he make earth? For man. It was one of his first gifts. One of the very first gifts he gave man was the earth. Here, just take it. It’s yours, my present. I made it for you. It’s like when you’re expecting a baby and you get a baby nursery ready. You get the crib and you get the window curtains and you paint the walls and you put those things in the ceiling. The mobile, everything, the little stuffed animals and blankets and clothes. Why are you getting them ready for that baby? Why? Because you love the baby and it’s all for that baby. To show that baby you love him or her. You care. Well, that’s why God made the earth. In other words, look, I made all this for you because I love you. Because I care for you. So when you see the roses blooming, God is screaming at you, I love you. When you see the pretty tulips in bloom, God is saying, I love you. When you see the sunset at night, the sunrise in the morning, God is saying, I love you. When you look at the night sky and see the stars, God is saying, I love you. When you look at the river and the streams going over the rocks and splashing and making beautiful noises, God is saying, I love you. When the birds are whistling and twittering, God is saying, I love you. Everything God created. When you see the deer, maybe come behind your house if you live out in the wild or if you go out where you can see it and you see a deer over there, you know, just out safe distance away from you. God is saying, I made that deer for you to look at. Are you happy? I love you. Everything beautiful. God created… And it all screams… God is saying… I love you… Hallelujah… Whenever you see those things… Just open the ears of your heart… And hear him… He’s telling you… He’s screaming it… He’s whispering it… I love you… I love you… I love you… Listen to him… Whispering he’s loving you. I don’t think we think about it. We don’t give him the chance. We don’t pay attention. It’s all around us. But we need to be conscious of his love. Psalm 115, 16, the earth he has given to man. All right, let’s go on. I just discovered this one. This is not even in my book, actually. This next one. We are the apple of his eye. Deuteronomy 32, 9 and 10. For the Lord’s people is his… Excuse me. The Lord’s portion is his people. Now, this is Old Testament and it’s talking about Israel and Jacob. But I’ve told you this before and I’m going to tell it to you again. In the New Testament… In the book of Romans, it says we are grafted in to Israel like a tree. We’re a branch grafted in. And we are spiritual Zion. They are a natural. So when the Bible talks about a natural Zion, especially in the Old Testament, you can take those promises and apply them to yourself because the church is the spiritual Zion of God. Grafted in, made one. That’s what Paul writes is the mystery. The book of Romans says. The mystery. The Jewish, the natural people, nation of God. The church, the spiritual people of God. God has joined them together that they would be made one. That is the mystery. So we are one with natural Israel grafted in so that we are all the people of God. So any scriptures in the Old Testament that are promises for the people of God, you have a right to claim them. So for the Lord’s portion is his people. Jacob, you could say if you’re born again, put your name in there. Cherri, Steve, Mary. You are his allotted inheritance. In a desert land, he found him in a barren and howling waste. God found us in the kingdom of darkness. He shielded him and cared for him. He guarded him as the apple of his eye. And this is the scripture. The next one is more known than the last one. Zechariah 2.8. For this is what the Lord Almighty says. Whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye. And I did a look up on that and some research on it. And I put it right here. the significance of the symbolic meaning of the phrase, the apple of my eye refers to something or someone. We particularly would say someone that one cherishes above all others. What you just heard was part four of a message that I preached in one of our victorious faith services called God Loves Me.
