The well-known Charlie Kirk, assassinated because of who he was and what he believed, was both a strong patriotic American, fully involved at his level in political discourse and dialogue, and even more importantly, a born-again Christian. He believed in dialogue and debate while eschewing any form of violence or force. Kirk believed all Americans and all Christians should be and must be involved in politics.

The political sphere, laws, rules, regulations, and policies developed by politics (federal, state, and local) governed all lives in America, and all political actions must be for the good of its people, moral, just, and consistent with the lofty aims and objectives of our Constitution. We The People were selected by God, called and blessed to be Americans, and we, therefore, had the obligation, the duty, to protect and defend. All Americans, including and possibly especially Christians, must be involved in the political process. WE THE CHRISTIANS must be fully involved in politics.

That began, these inclusionists said, with the duty to VOTE. To vote informed, intelligently, and consistently in accordance with values and principles right for all Americans. We had no right to stand above the world of politics, as some extremists advocated, to remove ourselves from the political affairs of this world, but rather, to engage and influence politics wherever we could. As Christians, ours was not about the business of merely personal transformation, and therefore influence the culture by our faith, our Christian walk and values only, but rather to engage and be part of the political process.

THE VOTE OF THE RIGHT-THINKING, MORAL CHRISTIAN WAS ESSENTIAL TO THE POLITICAL PROCESS.

This involvement included the right, privilege, and, even in some cases, the duty to run for office. This duty included Christians running for and being elected to office in the federal government, the state, county, city, and local governments, wherever there was opportunity and calling. Local political influence was important, especially in matters of education, schooling, zoning, and property usage, among others. The Christians in office could make certain there was morality, fairness, equality, and justice for all, the trust at work, and political promises fulfilled.

THE MORE RIGHT-THINKING CHRISTIANS IN OFFICE, THE BETTER.

In so many ways, the political and the spiritual were and are intertwined, now more than ever in our great country. The moral, or rather the immoral, issue of abortion, for example, has been highly politicized. For true Christians, abortion is anathema, but for millions of American citizens and for entities like Planned Parenthood, abortion must be legalized by the Federal government, by our Congress, and even funded by them.

Christians have a duty to oppose. The concepts and movement of transgenderism, the gay agenda, DEI, and more, all with large moral components, have also been highly politicized, and it should be the duty of Christians to oppose and make certain our federal, state, and local governments do not enforce, enable, or much more so encourage, support, and fund any of these movements. This, of course, requires strong political involvement by those Christians, and more, who would prevent any government from supporting such movements. We are, after all, my fellow Christian, IN THE WORLD, EVEN IF WE ARE NOT OF THE WORLD.

We have a duty to the culture, our families, the church, our children and grandchildren, and in fact all men and women to make certain our governments and those in power do the right thing. In many ways, it is not only right and proper for Christians to be in positions of influence and power, but a matter of necessity and duty.

An old English philosopher and Statesmen reminded us that when good men and women abandon the political arena, the bad men and women take over, and sooner or later, more or less, EVIL triumphs.

The best of the good politicians is the Christian. From the beginning, God told Adam and Eve to fill the Earth and subdue it. They were God’s chosen, as Christians today are, as well.

We The People continue to fulfill our original purpose, which is to build societies and create culture. We are responsible as Christians to influence private and public virtue. We must especially influence the world of education and work to reclaim what was once the proud American educational system. We the Christians should be active in the workplace, politics, law, science, culture, art, music, and especially today in medicine and education. We the Christians must be active, engaged, caring, influential, and control positions of power for the good of all.

However, it is not our business, and in fact it is not our right, to seek to make America Christian. The American Constitution provides for religious freedom for all, and in fact specifically prohibits the establishment of any national religion, and emphasizes the freedom of religion expressly and aggressively in the First Amendment. In my opinion, despite this religious freedom, there is no better politician than a right-thinking Christian who is determined to do the right thing, protect and defend the Constitution, and make certain there is freedom, justice, and the right for the Pursuit of Life, Liberty, and Happiness for all American citizens. Those are the inalienable rights given to us by the God of the Universe and they must be upheld and enforced at all times.

VOTE INTELLIGENTLY AT ALL GOVERNMENT LEVELS, MY FELLOW CHRISTIANS.

Get involved where you can. Dialogue and be heard. Run for office at any governmental level when you can, when you are called, and when you have the opportunity. Financially support the right ideas, the right parties, the right individuals, and most importantly, the right policies.

So many believe it is not only the right of the Christian citizen in America to be involved in politics, but the duty, as well. You should carefully think through these issues, and you should even more carefully determine whether or not, or rather how, you should be involved in the political life of the country in which you live, to protect the freedoms which you so freely enjoy, and to do what is right for the culture, for your family and friends, and in fact, for all American citizens.

AMERICA NEEDS YOU INVOLVED NOW MORE THAN EVER.

DO WHAT YOU CAN TO PROTECT WHAT YOU HAVE, THE FREEDOMS YOU HAVE, AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE, LARGE OR SMALL.

AMERICA NEEDS YOU!
