I’ve been so excited, Darren, as we’ve been watching the war on Iraq unfold here. And never before in the history of the world have we been able to go right on the front lines and see what’s going on, as we have been now. And God bless the reporters that have died and their family. We’re praying for them. David Bloom and Michael Kelly and… And some of those courageous reporters and also our soldiers. But here I’ve been reading Joshua and as Joshua is is having victory after victory on the promised land. See, God told him after Moses died. Now you go in and you take care of all the inhabitants in the promised land and you clear it away because this is your land I’ve given to you. And it’s just so wonderful to see as Joshua is fighting and victory is being brought on every side with Joshua. It’s happening in the United States, I mean, or in Iraq with the troops from the United States and England and Australia. And Darren, it’s a blessing to watch. And we do pray for them daily. And I hope all of you are praying for not only the soldiers on the front, but those that are shipping things and also the families of those that have fallen. We really do pray for that daily.
SPEAKER 06 :
You know, I guess I’d have to ask this question. You know, I have been losing confusion and derision on the other team, on the Iraqis, very honestly. Is that being, and of course I’ve said that on the air, so that’s not something I’m making up here since the U.S. has had such great success there. But do you think that prayer has made a difference?
SPEAKER 03 :
I do. And as others have joined with you, you know, we’re two or three. And also I’ve heard generals say that it’s going to implode from the inside, not from the outside, but it’s going to start coming apart from the inside. And that’s exactly what’s happened. It’s just begun unraveling from the inside out. And I believe those prayers are very effective. I really do. And I We see a very successful war. I know we’ve had casualties. But just the very example of Jessica Lynch. Here’s a private. You were talking about that just last night with me. Here’s a private, a woman in the Army. And all of these, I think there were three women. parts of the armed services that came together, the Marines, the Army, and the Air Force, to free that young woman after they found out that she was in that hospital. And also when they found out that there were bodies buried, they actually, with their hands, they didn’t have shovels. With their hands, they dug up those nine bodies. They didn’t want to leave their comrades behind. If they knew that they were there, they weren’t going to leave them behind. And I salute the United States. They’ve had compassion, Darren. Yeah, they’re passionate about what they believe in, but they’ve been compassionate. And they’ve been giving things to the Iraqi people. I believe the people are going to turn their allegiance. I really do. Soon.
SPEAKER 06 :
Well, I think that regime had to change, obviously. And, you know, good will not remain good as long as it tolerates evil. So at some point you have to rise up and do something about it.
SPEAKER 02 :
Yes.
SPEAKER 06 :
That’s true on an individual basis or on a corporate basis or even on an international basis.
SPEAKER 03 :
Do you know that they even brought sections of playgrounds? They put them together, and they have them in the villages. The Marines have put together play equipment. This is an Army that really does care about the people of that land, and I’m really grateful to be here. Yesterday I said, Lord, I’m so glad to be an American, and I really am. I really am, Darren. Praise the Lord.
SPEAKER 06 :
Well, you know, I totally support the war effort. I believe it’s right on the money, and You know, I wouldn’t want to stand up against the United States with all that technology and everything they put to a very, very good use. And I think some of these dictators around the world are going to think twice before they get too crazy. And I believe God has anointed our people with great minds. Now, folks, I want to take you, this is going to sound a little surprising to some of you, but if you go to Proverbs, and you go to chapter 8, and it’s a wisdom chapter here, and if you have a King James Version, I’d suggest you go there and take a look at Proverbs 8, verse 10. Now, in my Bible, which happens to be a New American Standard that I like, it says, “…take my instruction and not silver and knowledge, rather than choices gold.” Now, in the King James Version, it talks about having witty inventions. Now, I believe this. When Martin Luther introduced the born-again concept, humanity changed. Those that accept Jesus Christ, you change. You become creative. And I believe some of these creative devices that our people are fighting with are as a result of that life that’s really in our culture. I’m going to go to line two here. My computer screen here is not working the best it’s ever worked, so I’m going to see if somebody’s really there. This is Darren. How are you doing today?

Hi, this is Kale Johnson.

How are you doing?

Good.

What’s going on for you?
SPEAKER 04 :
I am actually going today to have a tumor checked out.
SPEAKER 06 :
Oh, did I talk to your dad yesterday?
SPEAKER 04 :
Yes, you did.
SPEAKER 06 :
Oh, he was a fine man. I enjoyed talking to him.
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, thank you. He is.
SPEAKER 06 :
How did you know you had that tumor, Kayle?
SPEAKER 04 :
I had an MRI a week and a half ago, and they found it.
SPEAKER 06 :
All right. Was there something that prompted you to go in for a checkup?
SPEAKER 04 :
I had a car wreck like three years ago, and they were just having me do a checkup to see how my back was doing.
SPEAKER 06 :
Okay. How was your back?
SPEAKER 04 :
Still not too great, but it’s holding up.
SPEAKER 06 :
Okay. Is there muscles or bones injured or a backbone?
SPEAKER 04 :
I have a couple of vertebrae that are messed up back there.
SPEAKER 06 :
Okay. Well, I don’t know if you know much about our ministry, but we prayed and had a lady get a brand new disc in her back. Oh, really? So we’ve seen God do creative things. Oh, great. And understand that from a doctor’s point of view that this tumor is inoperable.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yes.
SPEAKER 06 :
Well, I’m going to tell you something. I think that’s a blessing in disguise because God can reach in there and heal that. And I like God’s surgery because there’s no, you know, you don’t have any time there waiting to get totally well.
SPEAKER 03 :
That sounds good.
SPEAKER 06 :
So, Kayle, have you ever been healed?
SPEAKER 03 :
No. Do you know anything about the Bible? Yes. Like 1 Peter 2, 24, that by the stripes on Jesus’ back you were healed? Yes. Do you know that verse? I would write that down, and we’re going to pray for you. But after that, I would look that up if you have a Bible, 1 Peter 2.24. And I would begin to speak that forth so that your body can begin to respond to that faith message. Because you probably haven’t been saying Bible verses, have you?
SPEAKER 04 :
I probably haven’t one.
SPEAKER 03 :
I’m sorry. You probably haven’t been saying Bible verses.
SPEAKER 04 :
No, ma’am.
SPEAKER 03 :
Okay. So this is one good verse to say over and over again because Jesus did go to the cross so that you could be healed. He really did. He knew you, Cale, before the beginning of your life he knew you. And he wants you to have an abundant life. And so that’s why these scriptures are in the Bible. And then there’s Psalm 107 in the Psalms. There’s Psalm 107, verse 20. That he sent his word, his scripture in his Bible, and he healed all of those and delivered them from their destruction or death. And so that’s another good verse that you could say. Just take your Bible and begin to say verses. And I’m going to. after we’re through praying for you, I want you to leave your address and I want to send you a power pack. We have a whole bunch of little scripture cards in a cassette case and I want to send them to you and I want you to be able to say them. Because that will really help the manifestation of this healing. It really will.
SPEAKER 06 :
Now, Kayle, let me tell you a quick story here. This happened in Fort Collins, Colorado, but a lady had a brain tumor. And several people got together, and they prayed, and I prayed, and they prayed, and we all prayed. And the doctors lined her up for a 14-hour surgery. When they got in there, they found a depression where the tumor had been. And this woman was totally healed. The doctor just sewed her back up and sent her home.
SPEAKER 04 :
That would be nice.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah, that would be nice, wouldn’t it? Well, I’ll tell you, I believe God wants to do the same thing for you. So I’d like to pray for you that God will break any curses or anything that might have come down against you. And I’ll tell you, I had a wonderful Christian family. But, you know, they didn’t know about coming against curses. Now, Kayla, are you born again?
SPEAKER 04 :
Yes.
SPEAKER 06 :
Okay. Well, I’m ready to pray. Do you have any questions?
SPEAKER 1 :
No, sir.
SPEAKER 06 :
All right. Now, this is right behind your sternum. Is that what I understand?
SPEAKER 04 :
Yes.
SPEAKER 06 :
All right, Lord Jesus, I know that you can see that. And in the spirit, I see that darkness going away and that light is taking its place. Lord God, I believe that you’re doing a mighty miracle here for Cale. I know her dad’s a Christian. He’s praying for her, and we’re praying, and our listeners are praying. And Father God, your word says if just two of you on earth ask, the Father would do it for them. And, Lord, we’re agreeing in the name of Jesus today for Cale’s healing and deliverance. And, Lord, we just come against any and all curses that are trying to take her life and wipe her out, whether it’s an accident or this situation with this tumor. Lord, we don’t have to put up with that. It didn’t come from you. And we thank you that you’re taking that out of her chest today, just dissolving that tumor. Jesus, you’re the only one I know that can do that. And I thank you for doing that today for Cale and for the believers that are praying for her right now. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Well, Cale, you’re fun to pray for you.
SPEAKER 03 :
Thank you. Also, I would recommend, and this may sound strange to you, but I would recommend, I don’t know what kind of church you go to, but if it isn’t a church that believes in healing, I would go to your father, and I would take a little anointing oil with me, or if you don’t have anointing oil, olive oil. You can bless that to be anointed by God. And have your father anoint you, Cale. All right. Anoint you for healing and lay his hands on you. That’s really important that another human being lay their hands on you. All right. Do you attend a church that’s a full gospel or? No. Okay. And so I know your father is a man of faith. And so I would ask him to do that for you. Dad, you know, would you lay hands on me and anoint me for healing?
SPEAKER 06 :
Your dad’s name is Mike? Yes. He’s got to be a good guy with that name.
SPEAKER 03 :
Michael.
SPEAKER 06 :
Okay, Kayle, would you let us know how you do?
SPEAKER 03 :
I will.
SPEAKER 06 :
Okay, and I’m believing that today God did the work for you. You may find out someday later, but I believe he did it for you today.
SPEAKER 03 :
Yes, he did. If you’ll leave your name and address, I’ll send you a power pack. Thank you.

I’m going to put you on hold now. Don’t hang up. Okay. Okay, we’ll get your vitals here. Hold on. Okay, we’ll get her address and get the power pack down to her, get her on the way to healing. And, folks, I guess it goes without saying that you need to prepare ahead of time because I’ll tell you, the devil has a plan for you. And when he can catch you blindsided, he’ll sneak in and try to drop something on you that you may not be prepared for.
SPEAKER 03 :
I know. I see you often, Darren, praying from the top of your head to the soles of your feet for wholeness and health to your body. Not only our spirits as we’re learning God’s Word, but our bodies. And we can have health. Not be surprised by a disease or an illness, but we can have sustained health. I’ve been listening to Brother Hagin’s tapes, and I’ll tell you that man, he was about to die when he was 15, and now he’s 70 years older than he was then. And just going like crazy. He’s marvelous. He’s a marvelous man. And he says, you know what? I’ve never had a headache in my whole life. When that thing tries to come on, I just say it’s gone in the name of Jesus. And I believe that’s the way to live. I really do. And one of these days he’s going to be with the Lord. But you don’t have to get sick and die. You don’t. And we really recommend being in the word and staying healthy by the faith that’s in the word, in the scriptures in the word. Praise the Lord. Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. And it’s so important that you walk by faith and not by sight. It’s so important that you walk by faith and not by sight. And let’s see, let me go to 1 Corinthians.
SPEAKER 06 :
Let me say this, Barbara, when you’re looking for that, when you walk by the flesh, you’re going to walk in presumption and say, well, I think God can do it. Maybe he can do it. I hope he can do it. But when you walk by faith, you’re walking by a knowing. And you have to have an absolute knowing if you’re going to have the right result.
SPEAKER 03 :
That’s right. Praise God. I love 2 Corinthians. Well, how many chapters do we like? Some of you say, hey, let’s just take the whole Bible. It’s like when we send out our magazines, some of you, we have my favorite pages. And some of you say, all of it. Well, we could say that about the Word of God, too. All of it is. But here in 2 Corinthians 5, he who has prepared us for this very purpose is God who gave us the spirit as a down payment and therefore always being of good courage and knowing that while we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord for we walk by faith, not by sight. That’s 1 Corinthians 5, 7. You need to memorize that. We are of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be home with the Lord. Now, see, this is something that Paul was preparing for himself, that, Lord, this is just an interim time for me. I’m going to be home with you soon, praise God. We have to see this as an interim journey of life. The whole of life is eternity with our Lord. And Darren, during this time that we’re walking on this earth and we’re human beings, and yes, though our outward man perish, yet our inward man is growing day by day by day, hallelujah, and getting stronger so we can overcome the things of the flesh. And I praise God, Darren, that as we get older, we’re getting stronger. We’re not getting weaker. Hallelujah.
SPEAKER 06 :
You know, I would say amen to what you just said. And you’re using 2 Corinthians, I will too, in chapter 3, verse 15. It says, But to this day, whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their heart. Now, folks, you know here, if you’ve listened to us very long, if you get to know us, we’re going to tell you, get out of traditions. Those traditions are deadly. And they will keep you from receiving the very best that God has for you. And that’s a veil over your heart. But whenever a man turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now, the Lord is the spirit and where the spirit is, excuse me, where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty or freedom. But we all with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord. And here’s the part where all of us need. We need to sign up for this right here. We are all being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, justice from the Lord the Spirit. In Colossians 2, verse 9 and 10, it says, We’re complete in Jesus Christ in whom the fullness of deity dwells in bodily form. Now, the game plan works like this. When we come to Jesus, we’re raw. I mean, we just got out of being a heathen now. We’re over here, born again. We’ve got a brand new spirit. But we’ve got this mind and this flesh that hasn’t caught up yet.
SPEAKER 02 :
That’s right.
SPEAKER 06 :
Now, in Romans 12, too, it says we need to be renewed in the spirit of our mind. In other words, we’ve got to start thinking and operating like God does because you’re not used to doing that. You’ve got some old habit patterns that need to go. You’ve got some old values that need to be changed. Well, you do that by getting into the Word of God and letting Him change you You see, and here I read verse 16 again of second Corinthians three. But whenever a man turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now, the Lord is the spirit and where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. Now, when you’re with the devil and it reminds me so much of Iraq, when you’re there, you have no will of your own. You’re oppressed. You’re oppressed by an evil dictator. Well, praise God, things are changing in Iraq, but things need to change in our lives too. And I would say this to you. If you’re not on that track of God changing you from image to image and glory to glory, something’s wrong. You’re stuck. Now, I like the illustration. Going back to when the Polaroid camera was first invented. They had these big, awkward things, and you’d take the picture, and then you’d zip this thing out of the camera, and it was usually about a four by six size, and then you would wave it around in the light, and then you would peel off one side of that, and there was a whole bunch of gooey stuff that looked like rotten gelatin on there and didn’t smell very good. And you waved it around in the light, and in three or four minutes, it went from image to image and glory to glory, and finally you had a pretty decent photograph. Well, I believe that’s the way it is. God wants to clean us up. He wants to have us change. So we become conformed to his image and likeness. So we start looking like him and acting like him and talking like him.
SPEAKER 1 :
Yes.
SPEAKER 06 :
And that’s the sanctification process. Yes. That’s where God wants to change us. Now, I’m challenging. Some of you thought, well, man, I got born again. I said the sinner’s prayer, went down to the front of the church, shook the preacher’s hand, and I believed I got it all. No, you got the membership card, but you need to validate that membership, so to speak. You need to grow in the Lord. And when you first got saved, yes, God was satisfied for you to just feed on the milk. And it says in the New Testament, you need to move from the milk of the word to the meat of the word. In other words, you need to grow up. And we all scream when we’re babies, we don’t want to grow up. I just like being taken care of. Every time I yell, somebody picks me up and does something for me. Well, there’s time when maturity comes and we can’t act that way anymore. It’s the same way in the body of Christ. We have to mature.
SPEAKER 03 :
Yes.
SPEAKER 06 :
We have to mature.
SPEAKER 03 :
That’s right. It’s like in the 13th verse of chapter 4, Darren. Paul is going on by saying, But having the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, I believed, therefore I spoke. We also believe, therefore we speak. And as we believe, that word comes out of us. And it really confirms what God has done in our heart. It’s the fruit that every believer should have. We should be bearing through our words the fruit of Holy Spirit, which is love and joy and patience and kindness and goodness and gentleness and self-control. Those kinds of fruit we should be exhibiting even in our body as we’re growing in the Lord. It’s going to be a changing process, but God is faithful. He’s faithful and just. And for all things are for your sakes that the grace which is spreading to more and more people may cause the giving of thanks to abound to the glory of God. Therefore, we do not lose heart. But though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. For momentary light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison. While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal. They’re temporary. That’s where the word temporary comes from. But the things that are not seen are eternal. Oh, praise God that we have a hope of a better life. in this life, even though God has promised us abundant life in this life, we have a better life to look forward to.
SPEAKER 06 :
You know, that’s not just for us individually. We need to be able to be so strong in the Lord that God said, I want you to pray for this person that you would have the confidence and the knowledge and the know-how to go over there and pray for them. And you need to have that understanding of the anointing. So when you pray, that anointing goes from your heart to that person and they get their answer in the word. Now, matter of fact, I went to a drawer in my office yesterday, and I pulled out some pictures here. And I’m going to tell you why I really like to support Tony. I haven’t talked about Tony for a few days. I know. But here, there’s a little girl when I was down at the orphanage in Venezuela. And I’d heard about her, but she came and stood by me. Precious little thing. She’s probably, I’m guessing, four or maybe five years old. And I have a picture of her foot there on her right foot. If you look down at her foot, and you can visualize this, folks, you see her big toe, and then there’s the next toe, and the next toe are gone. And her parents cut her toes off to discipline her for something. Nothing is so bad that a child does that you want to cut her toes off. Well, fortunately, they left the big toe, and then next to her little toe, you know, there’s only three toes on that foot.
SPEAKER 03 :
Oh, how sad.
SPEAKER 06 :
And I looked at that, and I had a picture taken there when I was standing next to her, and she was standing up on a chair. And I look at that and I think, now, that’s why Tony is motivated to help these kids.
SPEAKER 03 :
That’s right. Some people should not be parents. Never should be.
SPEAKER 06 :
No, they shouldn’t be parents. They sure shouldn’t be. But, you know, Tony goes out and these children are just, I mean, he is drawn to kids. He’s drawn to babies that are abandoned. And they had some little kids in the home where the mother and the grandmother beat the kid to get him to run away from home because they couldn’t afford to feed him. Well, what a way. I mean, you talk about rejection, and some of you here in the States think, oh, I was really rejected. Well, probably not like that. Tony has gone into the dumps and under the bridges and beside the roads, and he finds his little kids, and many times they’re just full of all kinds of maggots and everything else. He takes them and gets them cleaned up, takes them to the home or refuge, gives them three squares a day and some clothes.
SPEAKER 03 :
Well, in the April issue, he tells of going to a home of a grandmother who has 11 children, some of them starving, naked. She can’t possibly feed them all. She’s not working, but she sends her retarded daughter, who has had two of these babies. She’s been raped. She sends her out on the street corners to beg for food. which she has been not very successful in doing. And so Tony took two of the little girls, and the next issue is we’re going to have a picture of Barbara and Daisy, and they’re just absolutely beautiful children. He took them to the home. The grandmother was so pleased, and he wants to go back and get seven of the smallest. to add to the home of refuge because they are going to starve. But here in the next issue, in the May issue, we have a spectacular miracle that happened, and it has to do with this story of the grandmother and the children and the two granddaughters she gave to him.
SPEAKER 05 :
Now, don’t give it all away.
SPEAKER 03 :
No, I’m not going to tell any more, but it’s a great miracle.
SPEAKER 05 :
Now, that’s a real miracle that you didn’t tell the whole story.
SPEAKER 03 :

When I took those pictures out of the drawer and I looked, here’s a picture of Tony standing by that Bronco that you folks bought for him, praise God. And I look at this man who works probably 90 hours a week, gives everything he’s got. He sold his business and his house and took all his money and went to Venezuela because he saw these children that were so abused and abandoned and forgotten. And they’re considered to be the trash.
SPEAKER 03 :
And he doesn’t see his own seven children.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah, he doesn’t get to see his own kids very often in Florida. But, folks, I want to tell you, you need to support Tony. And I’m also recommending at the same time you support Darren Live. And I had a lady the other day, and this was kind of an interesting story, but she called and she said, I have a major gift to give to the children. Would you please call me? So I called her. She said, now I’m going to send you a check for $500. And I said, well, thank you. But she said, I don’t want any of this money going anyplace else except to the children. I said, well, we can’t accept your check then because some of it might have to go for Tony’s airfare or something like that. Yes. And it was like hitting her straight in the face. Oh. Now, see, folks, there are other expenses of getting a message to you about the dump kids.
SPEAKER 01 :
That’s right.

One of those is our radio expense. One is Tony’s air ticket to get down there and all the other things that go on.
SPEAKER 03 :
Not only that, but Rosa lives in a home in Clewiston, Florida. She goes to see him once in a while, and he comes once a month to see her. But we also support Rosa. So that doesn’t mean just for the children. It includes Tony and Rosa.
