Something’s a good idea. You should not have to force people to do it. It’s not compassionate. It’s not altruistic to take other people’s stuff, whether or not it’s their rights, their property, freedom, livelihood, opportunity, childhoods, or lives via force. Force can be a weapon, but it can be policy, unpredictable in excess of taxation, forced fees, fear, coercion, government-induced inflation. And the agenda of the world economic forum and globalist elites that we see playing out throughout our lives, certainly at the United Nations and down, but we see this at the local level as well and even into school districts. And so that’s why we must engage in this battle of ideas that is occurring in our country at this particular point in time. Remember, if something’s a good idea, you should not have to use force to implement it. And socialism is not about free stuff. That is the carrot to get people to vote for it. But ultimately, socialism comes down to force. On the show, we focus on the issues and we’ll talk about the people involved in the issues. We really work to stay out of the personality fighting that can occur because of human nature. And so that is always our goal. Our word of the day is epistemic. And I chose it because we’ll be talking with Dr. James Lyons Weiler regarding the food pyramid, the new food pyramid. And there’s people that say it’s great. There’s people that say it’s a step in the right direction. There’s people that don’t like it. And he said that it’s a really, it’s an epistemic switch or a movement. And he says, so epistemic is is an adjective, and it could be of, relating to, or involving knowledge, cognitive. And so that is our word of the day. It’s E-P-I-S-T-E-M-I-C. Our quote of the day goes to Samuel Adams. And Samuel Adams was born in 1722. He died in 1803. He was an American statesman, political philosopher, and founding father. He was a politician in colonial Massachusetts, a leader of the movement that became the American Revolution. He was a signatory of the Declaration of Independence and other founding documents. He was one of the architects of the principles of American republicanism that shaped the political culture of the United States. And he was a second cousin to his fellow founding father, President John Adams, and Samuel Adams founded the Sons of Liberty. And this is his quote. He said, it does not take a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen on setting brush fires of freedom in the minds of men. And that’s what we really are working to do here is to have those brush fires of freedom in the minds of men and women. That is the way we’re going to reclaim this great American idea. I want to say thank you to Alan Thomas for guest hosting the show yesterday. I was downtown. at the Denver Chamber had a legislative kickoff breakfast, which was certainly quite interesting. The panel included both the Democrat leadership and Republican leadership. And so it was super interesting. And of course, one of the things they talked about on a regular basis was affordability. And the affordability in Colorado is causing people to leave. And businesses are looking to other places where the regulations are not so high. And the regulatory state that we have in Colorado is really, excuse me, is really the culprit to affordability. It’s government intervention in our lives and in our businesses that has really put a damper on the economy here in Colorado. I would say, unfortunately, so the panelists were Senator James Coleman, Democrat, who is head of the Senate, and the minority leader in the Senate is Senator Cleve Simpson. And then over on the Republican side of the House, now I’m drawing a blank, I think it’s Julie McCluskey. She is the Democrat leader of the House. And then the Republican leadership on the minority side is Jarvis Caldwell. And A couple of things. The regulatory environment in Colorado is the problem to affordability. And more government programs taking money from one person to give to another is not the answer. And of course, they’re talking about federal money, and the Trump administration is reducing the amount of federal money that is coming to Colorado. And that’s taking money from our neighbors to fund things here in Colorado, or also taking money from our children when we are incurring more and more federal debt. So those are, that’s not the solution to the problems. The solution to the problem is to reduce the size and scope of government. And not once, though, was there any mention of all of the people that had come to Colorado through illegal immigration and then put on the government programs. There was not one mention of that whatsoever. So we need to be having these honest conversations about what is occurring. And we had our Colorado Union of Taxpayers board meeting on Monday evening. And this is really an amazing group of people. It’s Steve Dorman, Greg Golianski, Russ Haas, Bill Hamill, Rob Knuth, John Nelson, Wendy Warner, Marty Nielsen, Ramey Johnson, Mary Jansen, Dave Evans, Corey Onizorg, Paula Beard, and Ray Beard. We are getting ready for this legislative session, which I have to say I’m not very excited about. because there are so many onerous things that are being proposed by the radical activists that have taken over the democrat party but when you see these folks say thank you to them because we will be watching legislation and if you would like to receive the email that we sent to the legislators and the governor Every Monday, regarding legislation that is scheduled for hearing for the next week, join us. And there are days recently, it’s like, gosh, it would be kind of nice to have my head in the sand and not know what’s going on. But once you see what’s going on, you cannot unsee it is what Sean Pond has said and why he has decided to throw his hat in the ring regarding running for U.S. Senate. Of course, Mark Baisley, Senator Mark Baisley, Colorado Senator Mark Baisley, has also thrown his hat in the ring for that as well. but if we put our head in the sand and pretend like this is not happening, that doesn’t mean that it’s not happening. So that’s why you need to be informed, and Colorado Union of Taxpayers is your shortcut to do so. And regarding some of the headlines that are out there, first thing is remember when Trump took office, inflation was around 9%. Now, we’ve not reduced those increases typically in our cost of living, but this is from The Hill. It says annual inflation hit 2.7% in December as food costs have risen. And that’s a much better number than what we had been seeing. But regarding our food costs, we talk all the time with many of our guests regarding the assault upon well. And actually, Trent Luce is not going to be on today. He’s going to be on on Friday morning. He’s going to be in town tomorrow. for the stock show. And so we’re actually going to, he’s going to be the guest in the first hour because he has a television show in our six to seven hour. And he said, Kim, it would be fun if we did both those broadcasts and broadcast them at the same time. So that’s going to happen on Friday morning. But we talk on a consistent basis the pressures that are on our food producers. And we have taken for granted an abundant and affordable food supply at the grocery store. But it’s, again, because of public policy, taxes, fees, regulations. That’s increasing the cost of food. And that’s our basic things that families need. And it says, but this is from the Hill. It says the new consumer price index data showed inflation holding flat in December with these prices rising 0.3% last month alone. And food prices were in at 0.7%. So again, this is because much of it’s because of public policy. And these are the kinds of things that makes… make life less affordable. So when we have these PPIs, politicians and bureaucrats and interested parties concerned about affordability, we need to look at the real cause and not look to a government program to have it in air quotes to fix it. Jim, good morning. How’s it going?
SPEAKER 11 :
Well, it’s going well and good to have you. And let’s say you and I have been texting back and forth. You had a really interesting interaction with Excel. I’m getting more and more calls regarding, and I have this in air quotes, interesting interactions with Excel. So tell us what happened.
SPEAKER 05 :
Well, I did opt out of the smart meter, and then I had to opt out again, as we had talked about a little while ago, because someone had opted me back in. Apparently, it was just an address error. Someone else was calling in. I don’t know. But so then someone has to come to the yard. I was at work. I get a text. It says, hey, this is insert name here, whatever it was, just my regular cell phone number. I’m with Excel, and I need access to the backyard. Okay. I’m thinking to myself, is this a scam? Is this real? Yes, I know someone needs to go to the backyard, but I don’t know who this person is. There’s no, like, identifying number. Like, hey, you might have got an email from Excel. It was badge number 6284. And, you know, is something that they can refer to? Nothing. So there was no 2FA, so to speak. And I’m thinking to myself, is this real or not? So I call back. Didn’t get anything. Text back, said, hey, you know, loving that you can come by tomorrow. Didn’t get anything. And then I get a letter from Excel that says we’re having trouble accessing our electric meter located at the above service address. And so this helps answer one of the questions you and I had. Because the meter has no communication capabilities, a technician must physically access and manually read your meter. That’s what I was hoping for with an opt-out. We weren’t sure if it had some latent communication capability. Apparently, according to this letter, it doesn’t. So that makes me feel better there. But it says if you can’t, When we are unable to access equipment, we must estimate your bill based on historical energy consumption, which is that part is fair too, right? If I can’t provide the information, they have to go on what I used to use. But what I thought was interesting, they talk about a condition of Xcel Energy providing electric service to me. Failure to provide monthly access can result in a disconnection of my service. I got one chance to let a person in my backyard. I have dogs, so I was like, okay. I might need a little heads up. Usually it’s courtesy, at least with easements to utilities, to give a 24-hour heads up. This person was at the door hoping I was home on a weekday, which, you know, not everybody gets to work from home. Or some people might not work, but might not be home for other purposes. And then it says, I like this last part, it says, If you’d like a phone call a day or two before we read your meter each month, please contact us in the courtesy program, which I did, which is nice to do, and I just got the call yesterday. Or if you would like to receive a smart meter to eliminate the need for manual meter reading and the associated cost, then please call us. Well, gosh, you know, it’s like you kind of cause a problem, right? They show up one day unannounced, and then all of a sudden they’re suggesting, well, go ahead and just get the smart meter. It isn’t easier. So, again, you have to run that convenience versus privacy, right? Convenience versus rights. Convenience is how all of these things are sold. And we have to realize that sometimes the harder way could be the way that preserves some more of our rights. But I did enroll in the courtesy program, and I suggest to anyone who opted out, check that out.
SPEAKER 11 :
So, Mike, I had a listener that had called that said that she is really being pressured to get a smart meter, so much so that Excel has threatened if she doesn’t get the smart meter that they are going to turn her power off. And I asked her if she was in arrears on her payment, and she said no. And so this pressure for this smart meter is, I don’t quite understand it. I know you and I have thought a lot about this. I can’t quite understand the pressure to move everybody to this smart meter. Is it convenience for Excel? Is there something more? What do you think?
SPEAKER 05 :
Obviously, it’s convenience for Excel. on the surface. But again, if you look at the fact that the smart meter awareness, oh gosh, it was out in Illinois, there was that lawsuit that determined that having your meter read every 15 minutes would constitute a search under the Fourth Amendment. But the caveat was, since it creates such good public efficiencies, that the juice is worth the squeeze, so to speak. I forget the town, but a smart meter awareness versus said town out in Illinois, and it was a district court that found that it was a search. However, the efficiencies are okay. I wonder if the idea of getting all these efficiencies about understanding people’s 15-minute usages and then possibly changing price structures to suggest that people don’t use power at certain times of day might help Excel as well. And then the thing I would say is, Rep Sheila Leder, I think she’s like Littleton area. She was the one that championed the bill for the opt out and opt in last year. Any stories that people have, I will forward to her office. And the reason is, is because she got into the idea of the legislation for the opt-in versus the opt-out, and then change to the opt-out over multiple committees because of what she was hearing about Excel and because of people’s personal stories, and one of hers as well. And she did relay that in testimony when she was supporting her own bill, saying that she was surprised at how difficult it was to opt out of a smart meter and the pressures therein and what have you. So I would say if anyone has had that experience before, contact her office, politely tell the story, and hopefully there can be more help from the state level as well.
SPEAKER 11 :
And again, which representative was that?
SPEAKER 05 :
Sheila Leder, L-E-I-D-E-R, I believe it, or L-I-E-D-E-R, but she’s a Littleton district, Littleton and kind of South Lakewood area.
SPEAKER 11 :
Okay. Speaking of Lakewood, you wanted to give us an update, I think, on a public-private partnership, yes? Yes.
SPEAKER 05 :
Absolutely. We had talked about originally Glow Park, and Glow Park is now off the table for that mixed-use residential with attainable homes. It looks like it’s back to where it was going to be, what the citizens were hoping for in the first place. And then we talked about Lakewood, and December 18th, the Lakewood Public-Private Partnership for Attainable Housing was heard. And then here, right off their website, the Capital Development Committee website. It says, Tom Couric, director of the P3 office for the Department of Personal and Administration, that’s a state department with a state architect office, I think is attached, presented on the Lakewood complex P3 request. Committee discussion ensued. The chair, which would be Rep. Tammy Story, announced that this request would be tabled pending additional information from the DPA. And she did send me an email as well about this. And she said, yes, it is tabled for now. apparently things had changed quite materially from one iteration to the other. So, yeah, she said they completely changed the scope of the project that had initially been approved. And thanks for watching and staying involved. And then I also talked to the person who runs the kind of administrative side And she also said the committee did not vote on the Lakewood P3 project. It will be brought back at a later date. So when you look at the actual website, the request for quote is also gone. The issue that we had had that we had talked about is the fact that they’re mixing the idea of attainable versus affordable housing. We can have the longer conversation of if the state should be involved in housing at all. But the fact is, if they’re kind of bending or working outside their own laws, then therein it becomes a problem. And just to be sure, the bill that they always cite on these requests for quotes, 22-130, passed in 2022, Section 4D says the department may enter contracts with qualified developers for proposals to construct affordable housing, child care facilities, public school facilities… residential mental health, behavioral health care facilities, or place renewable energy facilities on unused state-owned real property. That’s not attainable. That’s not commercial uses. That’s not market rate housing. And, you know, the 100-year ground lease just gives me agita as well. You know, to have the state involved in renting homes for 100 years is quite a decision. But I would encourage people to get involved. I don’t know, did you hear about the new stadium?
SPEAKER 11 :
Well, I don’t think I heard the latest. What?
SPEAKER 05 :
Well, this is also going to be the DPA, and it’s going to be a P3 project. And they made an announcement on the DPA website. It’s the Burnham Yard area that was bought from Union Pacific in 2021 for $50 million. The state website says it’s going to be a mixed-use development. The vision for the site is to transform it into a vibrant, again, vibrant city. Mixed-use district that will be a year-round destination. The development will include sports and entertainment venues, housing, businesses, and public spaces in addition to the stadium. And it’s going to be worked on. Jared Polis, Mike Johnson, and Greg Penner and Kerry Welton-Penner signed off on this announcement. So now you’ve got a situation where the new stadium will also include mixed-use housing on the state-owned land. It just doesn’t stop.
SPEAKER 03 :
It doesn’t stop.
SPEAKER 05 :
And they’re doing money in Golden as well. By lookout, Mountain Road and the South Golden Road area, they’re looking at another 30 or so acres down there as well. So, again, attainable housing, 120% AMI. That’s a single person making about $114,000 a year. And apparently they need to live on state-owned land. I don’t know if this is the proper use of state government.
SPEAKER 11 :
I would say, no, this is not the proper role. And ultimately, I think this is World Economic Forum stuff. By 2030, you will own nothing. You’ll be happy about it. So instead of people being able to buy their own personal homes and have that opportunity, when you’re competing with government that is pushing… Basically, the government owns it instead of everyday people. This is not the way we want to be going, Mike Rolick, but this seems to be like a freight train right now here in Colorado, Mike Rolick.
SPEAKER 05 :
I would agree. A lot of what I talk about is not part of Ralston Valley Coalition, but we have been working with a great developer over in Arvada who wants to do a mixed use in an economically viable and private way. I have no problem if you create a product that people want to have a condo, have a townhome, have a home, maybe move back to a condo or townhome and they want to downsize, and there’s light retail and some restaurants and a place for kids to go play, and they’re talking about having – street fairs, go for it. But when you’re on public land using public money and then a public-private partnership, the amount of entanglement gets rather concerning. This seems rather forced. If it’s an economically viable thing and a private company says, this is what we want to do and we don’t want LIHTC credits or anything like that, again, go for it. Prove the models. And they’re coming up with a very nice model. But you have these mixed uses that are kind of curated by government officials. It worries me that it’s someone else’s dream using someone else’s money.
SPEAKER 11 :
I think that you nailed it. It’s someone else’s dream using someone else’s money and that someone else is all of us. And then limiting our opportunity for property ownership is what happens on that. So, Mike Rolick, it always goes way too quickly, but we will talk with you next week. I appreciate you keeping us up to date on all of these important issues. Thank you, and you’re spot on.

And these are really important discussions. And if you want to rent, that’s great. But that should be a free market choice. That should not be something that is being coerced and forced by government. And, of course, if government owns all this land, then we the people cannot own it. And property ownership is inherent in the American idea. It’s a tall order right now, it seems like, Dr. Jack. But before we get into it, if people are not familiar with IPAC-EDU, explain to our listeners what they can learn there.

So the question, I have heard stories of many children that are having skin rashes, maybe close to maybe psoriasis. And I know there’s concerns that there might be a connection between vaccines and that. And I know a lot of little kids that are having this challenge. What’s your comment on that? Is there a connection? Is there anything that can be done about that?
SPEAKER 04 :
Last week, I just had a conversation with a doctor in Canada. I won’t say her name because she’s being persecuted for speaking the truth in a country where the First Amendment does not exist, basically. Decades ago, decades and decades ago, doctors knew that if a child developed eczema after vaccination, that you should not repeat vaccinate with that child. You should never do it again because bad things can happen. and they knew this and all of that was suppressed the next generations of doctors came in you know pharma took over most of medicine and certainly all of public health and eczema is just one there are many other skin conditions that are um have an autoimmune basis and in in the fundamental cause out calls the loop we see aluminum from vaccines as absolutely a root cause of autoimmunity, including these skin conditions. The same exact species of aluminum, the same exact compound, aluminum hydroxide, is used in animal models to routinely and reliably induce autoimmunities so pharmaceutical companies can test their drugs that they then want to use on humans. So they can cause asthma, they can cause lupus, they can cause rheumatoid arthritis, they can cause eczema, they can cause peanut allergy. So aluminum hydroxide is injected into the animals and then the antigen, that is the part of the protein that will cause autoimmunity, is presented to the animal through diet or through injection. And there’s absolutely no doubt whatsoever in the minds of the people that publish, hey, look, we can cause these autoimmune conditions in animals so we can test the drugs, that they know what they’re doing. They know the causes. So aluminum-containing vaccines are on notice. Robert Kennedy, Jr. has promised to look into aluminum as an adjuvant and look for safer alternatives.
SPEAKER 11 :
So if a family is having a challenge with eczema, I got mixed up, what can be done about that?
SPEAKER 04 :
Talk with your doctor. Ask them if there’s any evidence in the history of medicine. That’s the question. any evidence in the history of medicine that eczema psoriasis skin rashes other kinds of autoimmunity their sudden onset after vaccination might be caused by aluminum hydroxide and then say if you don’t know about this doctor go over to ipac-edu.org and take courses with dr jack okay okay it’s that simple but is there any remedy for the child Yeah, so we need really good studies on chelation. So chelation is the removal of metals from the body. And there are a variety of protocols that can be used under the guide of a doctor. And I’m not giving any medical advice here. We have to put that cavity out there. But if you have… aluminum intoxication because there was an industrial accident at aluminum foundry, they will chelate you and they have compounds and they will chelate your body and they will pull and remove the aluminum out. If you have mercury poisoning, they will pull the mercury out. They will try to get as much of it out as they can. But if we inject vaccine after vaccine after vaccine after vaccine with aluminum, and as it used to be until Robert F. Kennedy Jr. came in and banned the practice, mercury flu vaccine, mercury flu vaccine, after vaccine, after vaccine, then they may, you should go to your doctor, hey, I want to chelate to get the metals out of my kids or myself. Then you were looked at like you had three heads and two, you know, and you looked like you were crazy. If your doctor does bother to go to the scientific literature or go to CDC, HHS literature right now, they will find that chelation is an unproven treatment and that it’s controversial and is disregarded. But in reality, there are mild forms of chelation that CDC should research, HHS, NIH should research, and the moms and dads of kids with autism especially know about this. So aluminum has an affinity, a high affinity for silica, Almost all aluminum in the Earth’s crust for 3.8 billion years was tied to silica in the form of bauxite. It wasn’t readily available. You hear that it’s the third most abundant element in the Earth’s crust, but it’s not accessible to biological pathways because it’s bound to silica. Well, it turns out that silica water, like Fiji water, is a very good way to pull aluminum out of your body. The science says so. Dr. Chris Exley from the UK did a study of people that were at risk of Alzheimer’s and recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, pulled the aluminum out and saw the aluminum come up in their feces and urine and the severity of their symptoms decreased. So when you start pulling aluminum out, we need research specifically to see the best way to tag the aluminum that’s made freely available from our tissues so it doesn’t just recirculate the system and cause harm. There’s a substance that we use to remove toxicants like aluminum and mercury and Tylenol, acetaminophen. It’s called glutathione. And chlorella and spirulina, organic and chlorella spirulina, have the subcomponents that are necessary for your body to make ample amounts of glutathione. If you know a naturopathic doctor, they’ll be able to give you an IV glutathione if you or your family members are trying to get aluminum out. And again, this is not medical advice. Talk to your doctor. Make sure that you’re doing everything safely and with doses that they talk about. But there’s no medical practice that will do this right yet. But talk with them. We have to have the conversation like, why can’t I get this aluminum out? We put the aluminum in, why can’t we get it out? How much aluminum do we have in the body? And it’s going to be more important for some families than others because genetics determines your ability to remove aluminum and other toxicants in general. The third thing that I would ask, that I would offer, sorry, is that cilantro itself is a mild chelator for metals. So I don’t want you to eat, you know, like leaf handfuls and handfuls of cilantro salad. That’s not going to be tasty and some people can’t handle it. But if you go to Amazon or your favorite herbal remedy supplier, you’ll find that you can get cilantro in caplet form. And I reversed my asthma by taking cilantro for six weeks along with Fiji water for six weeks and chlorella and spirulina for six weeks. I have a research protocol. Again, this has to be researched with human subjects. This has to be looked at to see if it generalizes. But as far as I know, there are no pediatricians that will sit down and have a serious conversation with you anymore about chelation. There is one dad in Ohio that recovered his child from autism way back when, in the 1990s. after he heard Katie Couric on the news say, hey, some parents think that the mercury in vaccines might be related to autism. And he compared the symptoms his son Josh was having with the symptoms of mercury poisoning, and it was a one-to-one correspondence. This man, his name’s Scott Shoemaker. You can find his video online, video testimony. Under the care and supervision of five doctors, did intensive chelation of Josh cause And it wasn’t just mercury that came out. There are all kinds of things that came out that were toxicants from industrial toxicants from products in the home and so on. So his son was obviously a sponge for environmental toxicants and couldn’t handle the metals and the vaccines, you know. When Josh turned 18, he went to the prom in high school. He drives a car. He’s got a job. He’s neurotypical now. This kid used to run around in circles talking to his aunt. So there is a crime against humanity among those people who have denied since then that you can recover kids from autism by chelating metals if metals are the problem. And so the last thing that I would say on this topic is if you eat a lot of baked goods or if you bake or if you own a bakery, look into using aluminum-free baking powder. Most baking powder has aluminum in it. There’s a surprising number of drugs, pills that we take from pharmaceutical companies. Aspirin, baby aspirin, has aluminum in it. Rolaids, aluminum. Look at their product label and avoid aluminum of all forms and reduce aluminum in your diet. as well. It’s very important. It doesn’t belong in any biological system. It doesn’t belong in human beings. Aluminum does not make you healthy. It makes you sick.

Talking with Dr. James Linesweiler, we’ve got lots of questions coming in on the text line, but I do want to move over to… uh the food pyramid because you recently uh published something on it that it was an epistemic um change regarding the food pyramid so walk us through this dr jack yeah absolutely so we all grew up at a certain age uh being told that uh you know you want to um
SPEAKER 04 :
you want to eat your Wheaties for breakfast. Breakfast is the most important part of the meal of the day, and the kids need a full, hearty breakfast, it was called, specifically, you know, carb-rich. And, you know, while we’re at it, since we’re marketing to children, we’ll make them flashy and we’ll put some sugar all over them. And for years we have, you know, a serious problem with – We have a serious problem with metabolic disease. We have a serious problem with kids getting sick. 55% of people in America have chronic illness of one type or another. And so, you know, we’re in trouble in America. And for years, the food pyramid put, you know, Huge amounts of carbs at the bottom, and then meat and dairy, and then fruits and vegetables. And it was upside down, absolutely upside down. What we needed is what this new food pyramid has. And it’s specifically a beautiful change, an important change. It’s protein-centered. You have to have sufficient amount of protein to be able to build your body. Fats are in there next to proteins. as being very important, which for years, you know, the idea that saturated fats might be harmful in some way was, you know, the byline. And we actually, if you cut out fats and carbs, I’m sorry, if you cut out sugars and carbs from your diet, you have to power your body somehow. And in the… The reality here is when you want to lose weight, not only should you not peak your sugar and spike your sugar every time you eat a meal, as high as our typical American meals do, burgers and fries, lots of carbs, but also you should have the ability to power yourself through fats. And if you take this to the extreme and you cut out all carbs and sugar, you end up going into ketosis, which for years we were told was dangerous. Um, ketosis is simply your body using fats as their source of energy. So because our metabolism requires more energy to break down fat than it does to break down easy sugars and simple, simple sugars and simple carbs. our body has to work to, you know, power itself. And so you end up more properly giving yourself a challenge, if you will, to power yourself. Cheap, easy energy causes obesity. Cheap, easy energy causes inflammation. Cheap, easy energy causes people to feel, you know, slow and sluggish after they eat. What you want, another part of the food pyramid actually includes trying to eat food that will keep you satisfied for a long time. So the satiety factor, as it’s called, you want to be sure that the food that you eat doesn’t basically disappear in moments after you eat it and end up leaving you hungry shortly thereafter. It also stresses the food pyramid stresses avoiding snacking, which means don’t keep drawers full of crispy, crunchy, sweet snacks, all the things that we love. But, you know, people will object to this thing, but I love this. This is how I cope with life. You know, I like to eat. I’m a stress eater and this kind of thing. And they can’t get control of it. What they don’t understand is that when you shift over to a high-protein, high-fat diet, some vegetables and fruit and leave out the carbs and sugar, you enter into a different kind of satisfaction. Your body adapts to that diet. You feel more calm. You feel less agitated. You have less free energy and anxiety that you have to disperse. And everything’s working better because you get the fundamental high nutrition food. Cheap calories like chips basically have no nutrition. And of course, you know, the worst food in the world, The orange fake cheese coated Cheetos and that kind of thing. They’re not doing anything to make you healthy. So if you’re serious about joining Robert Kennedy, Jr. and making healthy, make and make and make make her healthy again. Start with yourself. Start with yourself and your family and make sure, especially for parents of small kids that every morsel of food that goes into your child’s hits your child’s plate and goes into your child’s mouth is as healthy as possible. I just had a great conversation yesterday in a Twitter space with Nina Teicholz. She wrote the book, Big Fat Surprise. And the big fat surprise is that the big lie about fats is they’re bad for you. Well, it’s the type of fat. You want saturated fats, not polyunsaturated fats. The saturated fats will help you with cellular health. They’ll let those cells move things out of the cell membrane more easily. If you pollute your cell membranes with unhealthy fats, guess what? You’re going to be unhealthy. You want to stay away from the polyunsaturated fats, the cheap seed oils, of course, which ironically, seed oils are not even mentioned on the pyramid because they don’t belong there. See what’s there. Follow the recommendations if you want to stay healthy. And you do want to watch that you don’t take too much fat in your diet. If you cook with butter instead of cheap oils and you put butter on your diet, your greens and your vegetables and so on, then there’s a chance that you could overdo it on calories, but you can cut back on calories elsewhere on your plate. So, you know, have a deep, the largest thing on your plate, according to the pyramid, should be protein, then fats and fruits and vegetables. And then if you want some carbs and sugar, just do that in very, very moderately.

He said that the new food pyramid is an epistemic change, and epistemic is spelled E-P-I-S-T-E-M-I-C, and it could be of relating to or involving knowledge, cognitive. So an epistemic, a very knowledgeable change regarding our food pyramid. And again, your challenge is to use the word epistemic in a sentence today. Our quote of the day goes to Samuel Adams. He was born in 1722, died in 1803, was an American statesman, political philosopher, and founding father. He was a politician in colonial Massachusetts. He signed the Declaration of Independence. He founded the Sons of Liberty Foundation. And he said this, it does not take a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen on setting brush fires of freedom in the minds of men. And did also want to mention here that we had talked with Mike Rolick in our number one about this state land that down at the state legislature and also in counties and municipalities about building affordable or attainable housing, but it’s not ownership property. And as Ginny said, let me see here, she said that this is not, the state land is land that the state has purchased by taking money from us. So when we have these taxes for open space or the Colorado lottery, then the state comes in and buys land. Of course, that takes that land off the tax rolls as well, which means our property taxes, all of our property taxes have to go up because we don’t see these PPIs cutting government programs. In fact, we see this expansion, which is making everything less affordable. But property ownership is important, ownership of our tangible property, intangible property. And how are you?

I’m doing just fine.

Okay. I’m thinking about you. I think tomorrow is your surgery, yes? Yes.
SPEAKER 07 :
Yes, that’s correct.
SPEAKER 11 :
Okay. Well, we are, I have you in our thoughts and prayers as you’re going to get some new parts, right?
SPEAKER 07 :
Thank you. Yep. At least one.
SPEAKER 11 :
Okay. So certainly, I was certainly thinking about you on that, Lauren Levy, but let’s talk about inflation. The inflation numbers came out and they were pretty good. Of course, inflation, government induced inflation. I don’t like any of that, but what’s your read on the new inflation numbers, which I think was about 2.7%. Is that right?
SPEAKER 07 :
I think it was actually more like, well, on the annual basis, it was a little bit lighter. That was like 2.3, so it wasn’t as bad. So that was good. It was just like a tenth of a percent lower than what was expected, which is good because, you know, if we don’t have higher numbers, then that helps, you know, with the Fed at least thinking they don’t have to do anything rather than ever raising. You know, we don’t want more inflation, that’s for sure, because people are really struggling. So… It was nice to see that it was almost in line with what expectations were. Certainly wasn’t a huge home run with below expectations, which would have set the Fed up to do more easing or loosening. But so it was good. The market took it nicely. And I think we’re just in a holding pattern with rates is where I think we’ll be for a little while.
SPEAKER 11 :
And we’re right around that. As far as the Federal Reserve rates. And mortgage rates are right in 6%-ish and above a little bit.
SPEAKER 07 :
Yeah, and it really depends. All the time when we talk about rates, it really depends on people, how much equity they have on a refinance or down payment on a purchase and credit scores. And there’s a lot that goes into the rate you end up getting. It’s not just random. It has to do with different risk factors, whether it’s an investment property or a primary residence, things like that. But yeah, as a baseline for average starting point, somewhere in the lower sixes. But there are people that we’re doing refinances and purchases for in the high fives right now, like 599. So it is nice. We’re being able to help some people, especially, I mean, all I keep reading about is, and now you can see it on the president’s radar, is the credit card debt in this country right now is crazy, which is why President Trump is floating around this 10% interest rate on credit card debt, which I don’t know the Again, it’s a good idea. I just don’t know if it can be implemented. But at least we know it’s on his radar, which means it’s a problem.
SPEAKER 11 :
Well, and I really appreciate President Trump and his team. They certainly are people of action, and I like that. My concern, though, is when government starts to get into something like this, I think the assumption is that all of that credit that is available to people on their credit cards would remain the same. and that people would just pay a lower percentage on that. But when government starts to mess around in these markets, what will happen is that the credit card companies will make shifts and may start to limit credit. for consumers which then that means that say somebody needs a credit card they’ve life is so expensive and it’s because of government policy friends that’s what’s so important to understand is that government policy, taxes, fees, regulations is what is making life unaffordable. That’s where we really need to go to address this. But for people to then they might have a car repair that they need to get done. And they won’t be able to do it because they might not have access to a credit card to do so. And I’m not sure that people have made that connection, Lorne. But, again, I don’t like government coming in and trying to remedy something and taking away people’s choices.
SPEAKER 07 :
No, the credit card stuff right now is really free market, right? And it does, you know, the people that kind of… carry these balances or somehow need to use these cards are paying a high rate. There’s no doubt about it, but it’s a free market and these companies are for profit. Right. And what’ll happen is you’re a hundred percent right. They’ll reduce credit. They’ll they’ll, they won’t make credit available for people that, um, you know, have trouble necessarily sometimes, or they’ll, they’ll raise the annual fees on everybody else’s cards, or they’ll take away, you know, you won’t get as many miles for people that use their credit cards for miles or points. They’ll take away a lot of those programs. Um, a lot of those things will happen because these companies aren’t just going to say, okay, we’re just going to make less money. Right. Or that they’re not out of the goodness of the heart going to say, we’re just going to cut our profits. And cause if they do that, then they have to lay off people as well. And so there’s, there’s a whole slew of things that could happen if this gets implemented. But the point is at least it’s, if they’re thinking about it and they’re trying to help people, whether that can be done this manner or not, um, they’re trying to think of ways that they can help. However, I just don’t know that this is going to be possible and or the proper way to get into a free market like this and try to move it around, you know.
SPEAKER 11 :
Right. So lowering taxes, lowering fees, which the Trump administration says that that’s important as well, that that’s really the way to do this. And I was at the chamber, Denver Chamber Economic Breakfast yesterday. It was the legislative kickoff. And we had PBIs that were talking about affordability, the challenges of affordability in Colorado. But they had mentioned something about site selectors, and these are big, big businesses that are looking at places to expand their businesses or move their businesses. And at least what I heard was that many of these big companies – are bypassing Colorado for other states that are more friendly to business, less regulations, less taxes, and where their states are more affordable for workers. And again, it’s public policy, and it’s so important that we connect that dot, because What I have seen, particularly from the Democrat side of the aisle, is that more government programs are what they look to as the answer, and that is never the answer, because government programs have to be funded. How are they funded? They’re funded by taking money from people to give to other people, and that’s not the proper role of government. So I laud the Trump administration for trying to address this with people really being squeezed, but the freer markets are the answer, right, Lorne?
SPEAKER 07 :
I agree. And, you know, the more, you know, you see like Tesla moving to Austin, Texas, right? A lot of their operations from California. There’s a lot of companies moving around to try to find favorable states for business. And you never want to be the state that businesses don’t want to come to or that are leaving. Because that means jobs not coming in or leaving with them, you know. So it’s extremely important. And what we try to do, and you and I, is just help people when there’s opportunities. And so I’m always going to come on and tell people, hey, look, if you’re in some of these credit cards that have 26% rates, rather than waiting for them to cut it to 10 and hoping that things work out well, you may have an opportunity with your home to try to alleviate some of this pressure and get rid of some of this stuff. And that’s where we can come in and help, at least on the micro level, you know.

Good to have you, and you are busy today. The Colorado State Legislature, 2026 legislature convenes, and I have to say thank you, Representative Bottoms, to all of your colleagues, because as we watch the legislation at cut, There’s a lot of really onerous things that are happening down underneath the Golden Dome. And I’m not excited about this legislative session after watching three of them very closely, Representative Bottoms.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah, the Democrat leadership has already told us that they know they’re in trouble. They know they’re losing Democrat base. And so they’re going to come after us pretty strong. This session starts this morning in just a couple hours. And they’re going to try to be more leftist, more Marxist than they’ve ever been before. They actually told us that. And that’s because they know that they’re losing seats.
SPEAKER 11 :
Seems like if they’re losing seats, they would figure out the reason they’re losing seats is because they have been pushing this radical activist Marxist agenda. So instead of doubling down, it seems like they would realize that people don’t like what’s coming, you know, coming out of the state legislature.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah, you would think so. I mean, this is my fourth year in the House, and they always amaze me, surprise me at how when things get difficult and they do hear from their constituents that this is not OK, they just double down and be more left. This is ideological. It’s not about the people. It’s not about the economy. It’s not about Colorado. This is about they’ve got three or four small things. Well, they’re big things for our state, but this small agenda that says we’re going to destroy Colorado through our ideology. And so they do. They just double down and become dumber. I just, it baffles me when I watch this.
SPEAKER 11 :
Well, yesterday I attended the Denver Chamber legislative kickoff, their economic breakfast, and Representative McCluskey, who I think she’s the Speaker of the House, she said that they needed to do some adjustment on TABOR, that we’re not going to get rid of TABOR, which is Colorado’s Taxpayers Bill of Rights, which was put into the Constitution by the people of Colorado yesterday. But she, and there’s three things with Tabor. One is that if we have PBIs that want to raise taxes, they’re supposed to ask us and we vote on it. Two, incurring debt, they have to ask us, we vote on it. Three, if government collects more from us, we the people, or I should say picks our pockets and squeezes us so much that they collect more revenue above a very generous formula of inflation plus population growth they have to ask us and that looks she indicated that that they need to be able to keep more money than that and so that’s going to be i think a big fight as well that we need to get and get into and they’re because they’re going to try to to dismantle continue to dismantle tabor piece by piece and and she indicated i think that they’re that they’re coming after it yes they have been every year that i’ve been in there they’re coming after it and
SPEAKER 06 :
And Representative Camacho actually last year, one of the more crazy liberal Democrats, he actually had a resolution that he was going to be bringing. That’s different than a statute. It’s different than a law. But it kind of sets precedents for direction for the state. And basically, he was going to have a resolution that you could sue that the state… would sue the taxpayer to get rid of tabor so that they could have more of the taxpayers money and give less back but but here’s something that’s pretty interesting kim is that right now 71 of all uh tax revenue goes around tabor we’re already breaking the law we’re already going against the constitution and the will of the people who voted in that they have the right to vote on any tax increase 71 we’re already going around tabor and that’s that is that is unconstitutional it is illegal in the state of colorado but the leftists and marches in the house do not care about that when i get up and read the constitution so you can’t do this They will just say and they come down to the microphone and say, well, we’ll pass the laws. You sue us because they don’t care about the taxpayer. They don’t care about the constitutional rule of law. They don’t care about the people. It’s just we’re going to take more of your money. And our budget has gone from twenty nine billion to forty five billion dollars in the seven years that Polis has been governor. That is that is got to stop.
SPEAKER 11 :
So with that, it is unconstitutional. But the other thing, Representative Bottoms, as I’ve watched this over the years, is they’ve had help from Republicans already. on this right around tabor as well and so it’s been really unfortunate that you’ve had republicans that have not stood and a perfect example is the whole hospital provider fee uh that particular and and what what happens is is they create what’s called an enterprise zone And these enterprise zones that are being funded by fees, which I have that in air quotes because whether or not it’s called a fee or a tax, it’s still money that’s disappearing from everyday people’s pocket. But since they call it a fee, they don’t have to be as transparent about it. They don’t have to ask us. And it’s troubling to me that they’ve had Republican help in this runaround Tabor, Representative Bottoms.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah, I’m actually driving north from Colorado Springs on I-25 right now, and this is one of the ways that they do this, is now there is a toll lane on 25. That’s called a tax. A toll is another tax. We’ve already paid the taxes for these roads to be built, and then Republicans make deals, and one of our leading Republicans for the last two 10 years is one of the ones that made the deal to make sure we get a tax claim. We’re seeing the same thing on our north of Denver on I-25. One of our leading Republican senators is the one who actually made the deal to make sure that we have a toll tax lane. Special districts, that’s tax runarounds against Tabor. Fees, fines, these are taxes, and they go around Tabor. This is not constitutional. They are unethical, dishonest loopholes, but Republicans vote on them too. They vote them in, and I get so frustrated by that. but a lot of republicans they’re more interested in power and being elected than they are doing the right thing if if i get voted out or i don’t get voted in as governor because i’ve done the right thing well then i did the right thing but because i’m not interested in the power of this i want to save the people of colorado their own money. I wanna reclaim Toronto and every area and I’m not gonna vote on these things. I’m not gonna vote for these things that tear down taxpayers. I don’t care how much power or money it brings me personally, it’s not gonna happen.

Okay, Representative Bottoms, we’re going to continue the discussion. Today is the first day of the legislative session for 2026 here in Colorado. And it’s very troubling to hear that even though the Democrats, the radical activists, Democrat agenda, they’re losing people. It sounds like on the Democrat side, instead of realizing that people do not want government to be doing all of this stuff, that they’re going to double down. So that’s very troubling. It runs until the middle of May, and each of the legislators can introduce, I think, up to five pieces of legislation. Is that correct, Representative Bottoms?

Well, I am Dr. Bottoms, too, but yeah, that is correct, five pieces. five bills if you want more than that you have to get late bill permission uh most democrats run about 25 to 30 bills you have to remember we we run over 700 something bills every session and about 550 to 600 new laws are voted in every single session to me that is horribly egregious but yeah we’re supposed to have five per person
SPEAKER 11 :
And there is no way, Representative Dr. Bottoms, that legislators can read all of this. So the idea that legislators are putting into law things that they have not even read, so they’ve not read it. not thought about the ramifications or the long-term consequences of what that means for everyday Coloradans is really irresponsible. And also, Representative Bottoms, what I have learned is many times there may be interested parties that are writing legislation that they’re shopping to many different states, but they’ll get a legislator to carry that legislation. So this is not something that is… been thought about for the people of Colorado. It’s an ideology and it’s being pushed by interested parties and they find a legislator to run that bill. And so this is not the way a representative government was ever supposed to be, Scott Bottoms.
SPEAKER 06 :
No, it isn’t. I had a spaces event last night that I did, and one of the guys on there asked this question. I thought it was very insightful for him. It’s where do these bills come from? Well, one of the ways that I analyze this is when I see a bill that comes through, and specifically when it’s run by a Democrat that I know doesn’t understand this arena, has no understanding of this space, whatever the bill’s about. I’ll do a little bit more investigation and I’ll find 15 other states, mostly extremely liberal states, are running the exact same bill. Well, that’s not how it happens. These representatives are not coming up with this legislation. They’re being handed it. uh handed to them by by big huge corporations and special interests and also um political ideologues across the united states and there’s been many times and you can go online and and see if i’m right about this there’s been many times where a representative is running a bill i’ll ask them questions because i actually did read the bill and they don’t know what their own bill says They have no idea. They have no idea the mechanism or enforcement or financing for it or anything because they’re just useful idiots. Somebody hands a bill, says run, and they say, okay, this is absolutely crazy how this works. That does happen a little bit sometimes on the Republican side, but it’s very rare. That’s mostly a Democrat issue.
SPEAKER 11 :
Okay. And so your cut score, and we’re having our event where we will be doing our legislative kickoff on the 29th of January, that flyer to buy tickets, which are only $20, should be up on the Colorado Union of Taxpayers website here within the next couple of days. We’re working on that flyer right now. But you received the top award, and that is the award as a House champion at 91%. And this is a really big deal. And so this is a comparison. You mentioned there was well over 700 bills or resolutions that were introduced recently. I think we took positions on 260 of those, which that’s a monumental job for our volunteers. But then we then ran an analysis on the votes of our legislators and how that matched up. with a cut. And you received a score of 91%, the only legislator that did. Although I have learned we had a little thing that I think that we have fixed because we had Representative DeGraff, he was at 84, he said, gosh, I thought I’d be a little bit higher. And so I said, well, let me check on it. And what happened is it depends on which committee that you’re in. If, in fact, there was a bill that got postponed indefinitely, it was a good bill, but the last vote was a no, they got dinged on that a little bit. But we fixed that. So just a shout-out to let people know. So anybody in those 80% to 90% range is great. But the fact that you’re in at 91%, the top score, House champion, congratulations.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah, thank you. And when I see Representative Graff, I’ll remind him that I did beat him no matter what he was trying to do there. So, you know, I tell you about this. This is important for me because, first, it’s an honor to get the award. But let me show you from my perspective here. Colorado Union of Taxpayers, you guys put out criteria for why you think a bill should be voted yes or no. And I put that into a spreadsheet that I analyzed very strongly throughout the year. The same thing with Liberty Scorecard and some of these other conservative things. Not only do you put out phenomenal information about this and grading and all that kind of stuff. um it it it’s not like i’m trying to earn the award but what that shows me is that even what you’re saying in line with this is also what i’m believing and thinking and i’m extremely strong conservative and so when i hear other representatives say well no the liberty scorecard or the cut scorecard or whatever those are just shams and i just heard this this last weekend at a governor’s forum that i was doing That these are shams, that you guys are just doing this to promote your special candidates or whatever the case is. That’s crazy. You’ve been doing it longer than I’ve been a representative. And so somehow that you’re doing this to try to help me makes no sense. What that means is they’re not really conservative and it’s being elitist. illuminated that they’re not really conservative and it makes them mad so they attack you instead of actually analyzing. And by the way, this is not just my opinion. Anybody listening to this program right now can go online, go to Colorado Union taxpayers, look at how you grade the bills, how you analyze the bills, And most people will agree that what you’re doing is the right thing and that is the conservative mindset and the taxpayer-friendly mindset and the economy and Colorado-friendly mindset. But these representatives that attack it, it’s because it’s illuminating that they’re not voting for taxpayers. They’re voting for their own ideologies or their own campaigns or their own pockets or whatever. I greatly appreciate that. And then on top of that, it is a nice honor to actually earn the award.
SPEAKER 11 :
Well, and Representative Bottoms, the word conservative has gotten a bad rap. And there is a reason why language really matters. But conservative, what it really means to me is someone that wants to conserve and preserve this great American idea. that all men are created equal with these rights from God of life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness. And so when you look at policy, and we are nonpartisan, as we look at this, we want to conserve and preserve this great American idea. So when you have legislation, that treats people differently, that, from a foundational standpoint of the American idea, is wrong. And so, for example, we were talking with Mike Rolick in Hour Number One, and you can see this getting set up. Affordability is the new buzzword to do all kinds of onerous things about taking away people’s property. Yes. Jenny had texted, and I’ve got to find this here, that she said these public-private partnerships are illegal from the original intent of open space. So people have said, yes, we would like open space. We’ve taxed ourselves. We’ve given to the Colorado Lottery for open space. But what we’ve not realized is that’s taken land out of the property tax rolls. And if government doesn’t reduce itself, then we, the taxpayers, are going to have to pay more of that. But when we’re looking at these different laws and things that government’s created this affordability crisis, but now it’s an excuse to treat people differently, which is foundationally wrong from the Declaration of Independence, Scott.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yes. Yeah, for me to go into the House and represent, not just my district, but the people of Colorado, my passion is to use the terminology you talk about, is to conserve the taxpayers’ money, to conserve the taxpayers’ rights, to conserve the voters of Colorado, their freedoms. This is something that seems to get lost sometimes, is everybody is wanting, well, let’s send money to this group, let’s send money to that group, but that money comes from somewhere. The state of Colorado produces nothing. Neither does the federal government, by the way, but they produce nothing. The only way they get money is they take it from the taxpayers. And then they start deciding, well, this person needs more money. This person needs more money. Well, it’s my responsibility to say, no, you cannot keep taking money from people and just passing it around to whatever you want to or acquiring goods and things for the state rather than the people of the state. We’ve been robbing the taxpayer in Colorado for decades now, and we’ve got people in the House and the Senate that just keep voting this stuff in. I just don’t understand it. When is enough enough? How much can you take from the average person from their money that they’ve earned? What does the right amount take to keep taking and taking? When does that stop? It’s just crazy.
SPEAKER 11 :
Well, and people can get that cut ratings, and we’re going to get to have Representative Bottoms on for one more segment, but you can go to coloradotaxpayer.org, and we’ve got a drop-down menu at the top. And talking with Colorado Representative Scott Bottoms, the legislature convenes today. He is also a candidate for governor. And Representative Bottoms, I have been concerned that the state GOP has been very disorganized regarding our caucus, county assembly, and state assembly process. And I guess just a couple of days ago, there was an announcement made that there is now a location. But this has to occur by the middle part of April to have the state assembly. It has to back down to the county assembly and the caucuses. My understanding is also that the state party said that they are not going to provide information. insurance for all these venues for caucuses. And so I’ve been really concerned about the disorganization. Is the assembly going to happen? Because if it’s really disorganized and it’s not done properly, or if it’s not held, then that is going to box out any of the candidates that are planning on accessing the ballot via the assembly process. And you can access the ballot either through the assembly process, petitioning on, or a blend. So what’s your thoughts on this? Because I’ve been very concerned that there’s a strategy to box out some of the candidates.
SPEAKER 06 :
I agree with you that I’m concerned that that’s happening, too. Our state… Leadership is in disarray more than I’ve ever seen. And it comes from two things. There is actually nefarious mentalities going on to try to hurt certain candidates like me. I’m the number one that they’re trying to limit here. But also because of just complete incompetence. We’ve never seen the state party be broke and actually in debt. I think the last number I’ve heard is 160,000. in debt and that we can’t have the assembly, all this other stuff. But I was actually on a group text thread day before yesterday and talking to many, many different lawmakers, many different elected people across the state, county chairs, all kinds of things. And basically, I started the thread to say, look, our state chair, Britta Horne, has to go because we have to have an assembly. It is the state law that we have to have an assembly. And she can’t just choose to not have one or some kind of excuse that we can’t have one because we don’t have money. She has spent all the money that was in the coffers of the state party, which was considerable. We’ve never had a money issue before. And she spent it all on her own issues, lawsuits and things like that. And now we don’t have money to do what your job is to do. And so I have been concerned. We did hear Friday that we’re going to be meeting in Pueblo again on April 11th. But I haven’t seen proof of that. I’m not saying I don’t believe it, but there’s just been so much stuff. So we’re going to have to get to the point where we know what’s going on at the state party. There’s a bunch of things like the delegate count. We still don’t have that. We’re supposed to have that back in October, November. we still don’t have that we don’t have the structures we don’t have any of the things they’re not paying for the stuff that they’ve always paid for to protect our county assembly state assembly and all this stuff and so we’re going to limp through this state assembly i will only go through assembly i will not petition on i think that’s very unethical i think it goes around the people of colorado goes around the thousands of delegates that are part of the state assembly. And so if somebody else wants to do it, fine. But I will not support somebody that will petition on. I will support somebody that comes to the assembly if I don’t make it through the primary. But we’re in a bad, bad place as our state party leadership. And we’ve never been here before. There’s always been disagreements, but not this kind of stuff. And it’s just complete incompetence and trying to nose somebody like me out. And so we’re going to have to… We’re going to have to deal with that. If they try to somehow don’t have a state assembly, they will be open for lawsuit. Guys like me, where there’s a group of us that we’re already talking about it, we will get together and we will sue the state party because they cannot keep me off the ballot because I don’t petition on or go straight to primary or something like that. That’s illegal.
SPEAKER 11 :
Okay, well, stay tuned on this, because I’ve been concerned that this might be a strategy to box not only governor candidates out, but also candidates for state house, state senate. And I’m not endorsing any particular candidate on this. What I think is important, Scott, is that everybody has… free, fair, honest, and transparent access to this ballot. And if it occurs that there’s a strategy to box out candidates, that really, really concerns me, Scott Bottoms.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah, it’s illegal to begin with, but it’s also, but this is what we’ve been seeing from this particular leadership group. is they don’t go by any of the rules. They’ll do whatever they want, even though it goes against normal policy, it goes against the state rules or even the state law. they’ll just do what they want. And this is, but the thing is, is a lot of the people around the state leadership have already bailed and said, we’re not interested in this, being involved in this. Many of the state leadership have resigned their positions and we’ve put other people in those positions because nobody wants to, nobody wants to be connected with our state chair right now.
SPEAKER 11 :
Well, that is a problem then regarding the assembly and also stay tuned on this. And if you want to find who has pulled petitions to petition onto the ballot, you can do that by going to Colorado Secretary of State and go to elections and candidates and you can find all that information there. Representative Bottoms, changing over to education. As I mentioned, I was at this breakfast yesterday, which was sponsored by the Denver Chamber, and they talked about education and graduation rates. And graduation rates are not the things that we want to be looking at. We are learning that kids are graduating that then if they get to college, they need remedial math, remedial English. So the graduation rates is not what we should be focused on. We should be focusing on… our kids reading, writing, and doing arithmetic, and you’ve been on the forefront. Not once yesterday in this forum was the word illegal immigration addressed, nor was this whole transgender agenda that we’re seeing in our school districts, and I know that you understand this education thing very well.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah, we have a very serious problem in the state of Colorado. It’s interesting, if you just like Googled right now or asked AI, you know, how is Colorado rate across the United States in education, you would actually get in the top half. But that’s a little deceptive because that includes higher education. If you take K through 12, now you move way down the list. If you take competency or ability to read, right now, 37% of grad, of high school graduates in the state of Colorado cannot read at a sixth grade level. So my question is, why are they graduating? Why are they getting promoted from fifth grade to sixth grade or sixth grade to seventh grade? They shouldn’t be. But it’s because all of this is about money. It’s about ideology. We’re more interested in pushing kids through the system because all the school districts get money per student that are in the school. And so when you go back to understand, and here’s another crazy statistic, is Colorado is in the top 10 in the United States for how much more money we spend every year on education. We spend more and more and more every single year than almost all of the states in the United States, except our education has not increased in competency in 20 years. We are failing in education, but we just keep throwing more money at it. Because in a liberal’s mind, that’s what you do. You put more money at it. Well, here’s the problem is we’re hurting our state. We’re taking the money from taxpayers and we’re accomplishing nothing with it. And our kids are not graduating with high competency to be able to go into higher education if they so desire. That is not OK. And that is at the hands of the lawmakers and educators. We really need to gut our education and stop spending money on forcing illegal immigrant issues into the education programs and also throwing money at programs that have just never succeeded, but we just keep doing it.

Right. And the money from the taxpayer is not unending. It’s not infinite. And we are getting very close to our intolerance on having so much money taken from us. We’ve got about 10 seconds left. How can people get more information about you, your campaign, if they want to reach you?
