Welcome to Call to Freedom. I just talked to a guy who has moved to Florida just to see how he and his wife were because they live in New Smyrna, Florida, because the winds were just raging yesterday and last night. And he’s the one, if you come to the meeting on Saturday, you will see a bobblehead of Jimmy Lanky. And so we talked about Jimmy on the phone and how he was impressed by Jimmy when he was living here in Colorado. And then he said, “How is the Communist Colorado?” And I said, “Well, we have a new victory, a victory from the Colorado Supreme Court.” I mean, folks, this is good. I mean, I see some conservatism coming back into our courts by a four to three vote. They have exonerated Jack Phillips. And I’m so grateful, Kimberly, I’m so grateful for that for all the years. That he has been put to the test over and over and over again by the left-wing transgenders. And the Colorado Supreme Court just threw it out. So we talked about that too for a while. It was so good to know that, you know, our friends who are in the storm area are safe and sound. And I hope that you who are listening, who have relatives and friends in the storm area, find that your relatives and friends are okay. Praise the Lord for His safety and protection during these times. Oh, it’s one of their provisions and restoration after. Yes, absolutely. Oh, you are blessed to dispense for in Him you live and move and have your being. And I hope you can say with me today, Lord, let me be overjoyed to serve you today. There’s nothing more worthy of my time, more nourishing of my soul, and more satisfying to my spirit. That is so good. Yes. Well, we have a meeting this Saturday called a Freedom Meeting and Kimberly will be here with me. I know I’m looking forward to seeing everyone. Yes. I hope you’ll come if you’re listening right now. I just really want to encourage you if you’ve never been. Call 877-917-7256 and leave us a message that you’re coming. We’ll make sure that you have the address so you know where you’re going. Yes. And we, I just would love to see whoever is able to make it. That’s right. And if you make your reservation online by going to Barbara Carmack at FreedomStreet.org, we’re going to be closed down. So hopefully you can call that 1-877 number. I hope that you can call before noon. The website won’t close until Friday at 5 o’clock. So just make sure that you give us some kind of reservation by Friday afternoon. That would be great. All right. And so we want you to come and enjoy the music and we have Bible study. And then we will be having lunch on the patio. And if you would like to bring a side dish or a dessert to go with our baked potatoes, and we’ve got all kinds of stuff to put on the baked potatoes, and it’s going to be wonderful, you can bring that side dish. Call me at 1-877-917-7256. And as yesterday, I was telling you about the memory verse, his second Chronicles 7-14. Such a marvelous verse. And I believe most people just say the verse and don’t act it out. We’re going, we’re, we are mature enough in the Lord. We’re going to begin to act out this verse. If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face, not the world’s face, my face, capital M, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and forgive their sins and heal their land? We desire that this verse be alive in you today, and that you will seek God’s will for your life in this country, and pray with fervor that his will be done in Jesus’ name. Thank you, Lord. Yes, amen. Praise the Lord. Yes. And also, I want to remind you about, oh, I have the voting sheet, and I will just go over, I’m going to go over the judges because I’ve heard from several of you, and said, well, I just say no, I don’t mind voting sheet. And there are some here that need to be yes. So you’re just going to read the yes ones? Yes, that’ll be helpful. Okay, I’m just going to read the yes ones. And also, the judges, there are three judges appointed by Governor Owens, who are conservative, and that’s judge, I wonder if they’re part of the four three vote. Maybe. Yeah, so say yes. Yeah. Judge Gilbert Roman, Judge Jerry Jones, and in the court of appeals, judge Andre Rudolph. And so is it Roman Jones and Rudolph? Yes, you put in your yes vote there. All the others have been appointed by, you know, you can vote for somebody that has been appointed by Jared Polis, or my can cough, if you want to, but that’s not going to get you on the conservative side in this state, and also becoming a red state. So in our amendments, they’re all, oh, no, except the ones I’m going to name here. If you got a pencil or a pen and paper, write these down. Amendment I is a yes. It’s bail exception in a murder decree. And then no bail, because now we have had bail in a murder decree. And I know we’re, we aren’t innocent until proven guilty. But when it comes to murder, I don’t think there should be bail. So that’s a yes. And then initiative 80 is a yes. That’s school choice. And initiative J.J. Betting Tax Revenue. Okay, that’s a yes. Boy, they want us to pay for everything. Initiative 28? Yes. Parole eligibility. Initiative 129? Yes. Veterinary professional associate. I don’t know why that’s on there, but yes. And then initiative 130 is a yes. And initiative 127 that allowing hunting for mountain lions. So that’s a no. So and then we’ve got ballot issues. Wow, a lot to do here this voting season. All the ballot issues to Q to R for a six a seven a are no ballot issues. Are all no praise God. And then I’m just encouraging you to either go to SamaritansPers.org and give yourself or you can send a check to call to freedom. And then down below on your check or your money orders say this is for North Carolina or hurricane repair or restoration. So that’s what you can do and send your check to call to freedom box 37037 Denver, Colorado 80237. We want to help SamaritansPers. They do everything in the love of Jesus and in God’s name and I want to help them. So that’s one thing we can do. So I am going to just give it over to you Kimberly like we did yesterday. And we enjoy all those prayers were so good because people say prayers maybe under their breath or maybe in their head. But they don’t verbalize as much as they should as we should. I should I should include me we I’m doing it more and more just talking to the Lord. Yes. Out loud. Yes. We were made in his image and he spoke all things into being and so he desires us to speak as well to let the words come from our mouth. And I love your memory verse of this week if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and turn from the old ways. Yes. Turn from the old habits. Turn from the old opinions, the old ways of thinking. He hears. He hears and you were reading a scripture from Proverbs that still opened there in front of you. Yes. It has everything to do with the difference between pride and humility. So I can go ahead and read that for us. Well Proverbs 11 and this is pasted in my Bible. So I turned right to it. It’s in the amplified and it’s Proverbs verse 2. Yes. When pride comes then comes dishonor but with the humble is wisdom and you know in the amplified she just amplified everything the translators. So this is so good. When swelling and pride come then emptiness and shame come also. They follow suit when you’re prideful. All the emptiness and shame comes also. You know there are people that say I just don’t have any friends. Nobody wants to come around me. Well we got to look inside sometimes and see what’s keeping those people from wanting to be friends with us. But then emptiness and shame come too. But with the humble those who have been pruned and chiseled by trial and renounce self are godly and skillful wisdom and sound judgment. Pruned. Chiseled. And we don’t like to be pruned it’s pretty uncomfortable that it hurts to have something locked right off of your life. Being chiseled that hurts too. There’s a suffering in that. And that’s what Jesus came to show us was a life that was humble willing to be chiseled. Willing to be pruned. Willing to be tossed aside. Rejected by this this realm. The people in on this earth rejected him. All turned their faces from him. They all did. Not one was turned toward him in his greatest time of need while he was being tried and flagged and crucified. Yes. So no one stood up for him in that moment. He didn’t he must have felt very much abandoned and betrayed and alone. That has to hurt that’s uncomfortable. The good news of that is that ultimately he’s pointing all of us to a different realm. This world is broken and we make broken decisions and we go through trials and tribulations and we are rejected and we are abandoned and we are betrayed. That’s what happens here and we go through storms and we watch wars happen and hostages taken. Yes. And it’s heartbreaking. It’s so hard to watch those dark things. But he Jesus came to show us that there’s so much more than this world. And we’ve got to believe that when we start believing that and we are counted among believers, you know what the word of God says? Keep coming to him who is the living stone. Though he was rejected and discarded by men, he was chosen by God and his priceless in God’s sight. Yes. This is from 1 Peter chapter 2. And I started in verse 4 there and it’s encouraging us to come and be his living stones who are continually being assembled into a sanctuary for God. For now you serve as holy priests offering up spiritual sacrifices that he readily accepts. Now we could get bogged down in a lot of these words but just picture Jesus came to show us that there is a better place and a different realm. Yes. I wish. I just wish and maybe well, Holy Spirit is moving anyway but the parents and the loved ones of the hostages that are still there in the tunnels of Gaza. I wish that they knew that their loved ones, even if they were all dead, Kimberly, are with God and they have a brand new life and a new body and a new spirit, that would give them such hope. Well, we just speak that encouragement to us. As we have the hope in our hearts that that hope would be contagious, that it would reach across the ocean and into the Middle East and give hope to those who have lost so much, that they would know that their redeemer lives. Here’s Jesus allowing himself to be rejected, flagged, abandoned, betrayed, crucified, put thrown into attuned and left there for dead. And what does his father do? He shows us all. There’s more. Yes. Death is not the end. There’s more. And so we just pray and believe that the people who have lost loved ones in the storms here, loved ones in the wars there, that they would be encouraged. There’s more. Death is not the end and that we have a great hope to look toward not to give up on this life here because we are living water to those who are so dry and empty. The wilderness here, we have a fountain of living water on the inside of us and it flows out to others and provides fresh water to others. It’s a refreshing so that others will know that there’s more. There’s so much more. And even the people who are coming to Jesus now, the famous ones, there are so many of them that are coming to the Lord and they have been positioned in a place so that many could hear their voice and hear them say, “I have found something so much greater than just words on a page. So much greater than just what we might recite in a church service. So much greater than what I have seen in Earr has heard, “I am experiencing a grace poured out into me that is nothing less than relationship with God Almighty.” And it’s so fulfilling, so full of hope, so full of joy, that’s what we pray over the people who are experiencing great tragedy, great loss and great conflict that they would experience that grace, that the grace would cascade over them, into them, infuse them and give them fresh light, fresh life and hope. And we know that Jesus was born full of grace and truth, so we look to Him, He’s the grace. Well, when we lost your dad, there was that knowledge that he was in heaven and he was perfect in every way, no more disease or illness. When we lost Darren, it was the same way He is with God. And that’s how we can overcome the grief and the sorrow. Jesus took that grief and sorrow on the cross. So my friend, if you’re listening today and you’ve lost a loved one, let the grief be taken and given to Jesus. Yes, he’s the one that took it on the cross. And we do grieve. We do grieve here. We’re not saying not to grieve. That’s right. But we don’t carry it on a daily basis and make it such a burden that we cannot go on. That’s right. And I praise God for the knowledge that they’re up in heaven, perfect in every way. Yes. Yes. Back to 1 Peter chapter 2 and verse 6, God says, look, I lay a cornerstone in Zion. Zion is his Zion isn’t into actual city. It’s not an actual city on this in this realm. This is his favorite people. That’s who he calls Zion, his favorite people, his people, a chosen and priceless stone is the cornerstone of Zion. God calls Jesus a chosen and priceless stone. And whoever believes in him will certainly not be disappointed. We have to believe that we’re not going to be disappointed when we put our belief and turn our eyes to a new realm that we are made for. We’re not just made for this realm here on this earth. As believers, verse 7, you know his great worth indeed, his preciousness is imparted to you. Okay, listen to this. He is precious. Jesus is precious in God’s sight. He is so valuable. Has so much worth placed on him from the Father’s eyes. He is so, his worth is heavy, weighty. When you think of someone who is precious, when you talk to someone and you call them precious, that is someone that has worthy of the speakers in the speaker’s life. Much value. It’s much value and he’s worthy of the one who’s speaking that. Yes. As believers, when we believe that preciousness is then imparted to us, it’s actually transferred to us. God now sees us with the same preciousness that he sees his own son, Jesus Christ. When we choose to believe that, see, that seems unbelievable because each one of us knows what a mess we are. But when we choose to believe that God died, he sent his only son and died for us while we were a mess, while we were yet sinners. He thought of us as precious and died for us. When we believe that, then the preciousness is now accounted to us. It’s transferred right over. And that’s how he sees us. We can believe this. And oh, I just pray Lord that you would continue to make us like you. And then we can look at others and see preciousness in others. And we can see great value in others. Not just those that look good to us, but in the conflict that we’re experiencing, we can see that God has a very pointed purpose. He has a plan for every one of us in the dark and in the light. And we choose to humble ourselves and say yes to the plan. We choose to say it’s not, it’s not a fault of someone else’s and blame them. Oh, the blame game is horrible. But instead of doing that, looking to them and saying, you know what, you are precious. You are fulfilling a plan. Now where am I getting this from? Okay, let’s look at the rest of verse seven and then eight of first Peter two. As believers, you know his great worth indeed. His preciousness is imparted to you for those who do not believe the stone that the builders rejected and discarded has now become the cornerstone. So there has to be some rejection that happens. It’s part of the plan and verse eight, a stone that makes them stumble and a rock to trip over. They keep stumbling over the message because they refuse to believe it. This they were destined to do and this they were destined to do. Well, why why are they destined to keep stumbling over this? Why are they destined to reject the one who was most precious? Why are they destined to be tray? Well, because if we didn’t have that contrast in this life, we wouldn’t choose to humble ourselves. Yes, if we didn’t have the story of the Pharisees and their aggression against Jesus, we wouldn’t realize what he actually went through nor what we have to face in this life with rejection because we will. We will all face rejection. And we must like you said just a few minutes ago, I will not be offended. You know, if somebody comes, I will not be offended. If somebody says derogatory thing about you, I will not be offended. And that’s true. In Jesus Christ, we are not offended. Yes, that’s something that I wanted to be a part of my life for a long time and I kept praying that the Lord would make me unaffendable. And then when he actually did it, I realized, wow, what a miracle. To be able to walk through life and know that somebody is going to think poorly of me, they’re going to take things from me. It’s just the broken world that I live in. But this, we were destined for. Yes, it says that in 1 Peter 2, 8. Redeemed through that. Yes. So destined for these hard things, this is why we can consider it all joy when the trials and the tribulations and the persecutions come. We can consider it all joy because it’s pointing us to another realm. We’re not made for this realm. This is not what the goal is. It’s not the prize. There’s something so much greater. But I’ve got so much to do Kimberly. Well, there is a lot to do with my goals in life. I’m so afraid that if I don’t reach those goals here, that there won’t be in heaven anything that I’m interested in. I mean, people. I know. I’ve said that. Yes. So whatever we have here, we’ve got to try to imagine this world times 100 times a thousand. I don’t know how to multiply it to get to the heavenly realm. But this is just a shadow compared to what the other realm is. Yes. And when we look back in 1 Peter 1 in verse 14, it says, as God’s obedient children, now this is talking about us as we are growing in this truth, the truth that there is another realm. And Jesus has pointed the way to the other realm. As God’s obedient children, never again shape your lives by the desires that you followed when you didn’t know better. Well, there is this season of life that we don’t know better. We’re born into this world as babies. And as infants and toddlers, we don’t know better. We can’t survive without other people giving to us. And we come into this world as takers. We take. We’re on the receiving end. And we have to learn how to be givers. We have to learn how to give value and give worth to other people. And that’s kind of hard to do. The freedom of the adult life comes with a call to suffer and to be persecuted to experience betrayal. It comes with that. That’s the freedom that we walk in. Once we see the freedom of this adult life, then we have a choice to make. We either become really resentful and bitter and hang on to unforgiveness or we turn and we become forgiving and full of grace and mercy and kindness. Like our heavenly Father is toward us. We try so hard to hold on to our comforts that we are used to from our infants stage, you know, from our toddler stage of the comforts of somebody always giving to us. We try taking care of us. We try to hold on to that. But truly, he who loses his life will find it. And we need to remember that. That’s what Jesus came to show us. That is exactly what he showed us by living it out. He who loses his life will find it. We’ll find treasure. Great treasure in that. And you know, we end up being called a chosen treasure. First Peter 2 verse 9. But you are God’s chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation. And this in the Passion says you are God’s chosen treasure. Priests who are kings, a spiritual nation set apart as God’s devoted ones. He called you out of darkness to experience his marvelous light. And it is this realm that is darkness. It’s shadows. But his marvelous light is another realm. We’ve got so much to look forward to. That’s right. What does Mark 10, 29 say in the Passion? I didn’t bring my Passion today. But it says, truly, I say to you, and this is Jesus. There is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or farms for my sake. But he shall receive 100 times as much in this present age. Houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and farms. And with persecution with you’re talking about that. Yes. And in the age to come eternal life. Yes. What does the Passion say there? Anyone who leaves his home behind and chooses me over children, parents, family and possessions. All for the sake of the gospel. It will come back to him 100 times as much in this lifetime. Homes, family, mothers, brothers, sisters and children, possessions along with persecutions. And in the age to come, he will inherit eternal life. Oh, that’s beautiful. Wow. It’s been so good having you on the air for these last two weeks. I am going to miss you. Yeah. Kimberly is going back to broken arrow. But oh, we have enjoyed so much. The anointing that God has given to you. Kimberly. Thank you so blessed. And I’m not leaving yet. Don’t forget there’s a meeting this Saturday. And please come join us if you’ve never been or if you haven’t been in a while. Come see us. Come say hello. Let us give you a hug and feed you. Yes. And we will have voting sheets there at the meeting or voting guides God bless you and keep you and my friend take joy. Thank you for listening to Call to Freedom with Barbara Carmack.
