Welcome to Call to Freedom. Yesterday you heard an encore show because I believe that someone needed to listen to that program one more time. It was from Friday and so yesterday it was September 9th. If you want to go to that again, Darren is anointed with several phone calls to find the answer for the people that we’re calling in. So I really encourage you to go to FreedomStreet.org, click on Radio Shows and listen to September 9th again. It’s just a wonderful program and a wonderful opportunity for you to learn how to pray for people. Because God is ready, ready to fill you and to motivate you and make you a minister of the gospel of Christ. Thank you for listening in today and you can call in all the time, 1 o’clock, Denver time, 1-877-917-7256. And I’m live Monday through Thursday. So I want you to know that you’re always welcome to call in. Prayer is the powerful connection between our needs and our God. And he is always more than enough and that name more than enough is El Shaddai. He’s more than enough. You are blessed to dispense for in him you live and move and have your being and I’d like to just remind you our regular monthly call to Freedom. Freedom meeting is this Saturday, September the 14th. And I am looking forward to seeing you and having fellowship with you joining in on the singing and discussing the Bible at 10 o’clock. And we will have lunch on the patio and I refer to this probably one of the last Saturdays we will have out on the patio as our summer salad Saturday. So we’re going to have salads. Our summer salad Saturday. I’m even going to fix a salad. I’m not going to have an entree. Usually I have a meat or pasta or something like that. So we’re going to have summer salad Saturday. And yes, desserts are welcome. You can feel free to bring your favorite dessert if you’d like. If you’d rather do that then bring a salad. And we’re not only going to have great fellowship. We’re going to have a delicious meal around the tables on the patio. Call me at 1-877-917-7256 for a reservation. I appreciate that so much because we don’t have to go and dig up more chairs. I have chairs that are set up according to the phone calls that come in. So thank you so much for your understanding. Again, that phone number is 1-877-917-7256. I look forward to seeing you on Saturday. Our memory verse for this week is Isaiah 12 verse 2. Just a favorite chapter of mine. It’s just short. And I was telling a friend the other day that that’s the first chapter the girls memorized. And we would let them jump up and down on the bed. They were just small probably 5-8 years old jumping up on the bed. And behold, God is my salvation. I will trust and not be afraid. For the Lord God is my strength and my song. He has become my salvation. Isaiah is such a wonderful chapter. Isaiah 12 to memorize and also dwell on. Now in the Passion translation, Isaiah 12 verses 2 is behold, God is my salvation. I am confident and afraid. And I will trust in you. Yes. The Lord YAH is my might and my melody. He has become my salvation. Now what is YAH? It’s another word for God. God has so many words for him that I think there are like over 6,000 words for God. And in those words is Elohim, which you find in Genesis, which is a plural, meaning God and Holy Spirit and Jesus are creating man in their image and in their likeness. And then there is Yahweh, which is spoken of so frequently even today. And then there is Lord God Almighty. And that’s one that most of us love to use. Also, I would really encourage you when you type out or write Lord, it’s in all caps. It really is. It reverences the God of the universe. Oh, YAH is my might and my melody. He has become my salvation. And if you say, have you said the word Hallelujah? That’s blessed God. YAH, the last part of Hallelujah, is God. So we bless and give glory to God, saying that word, Hallelujah. That is one word that is universal when John and I went to Mexico and then we went to Haiti to sing for some services. Hallelujah was a word that everyone understands. Glory to God. YAH. So the Lord YAH is my might and my melody. He has become my salvation. Now Moses met God, the I am that I am at a burning bush. And this must have been a profound scene. Here he was a shepherd. All day long, he would shepherd sheep. He would take them to new places where they could graze. And understandably, Moses had some concerns. The main one being how he will convince his fellow Israelites that this really is a mission from and blessed by God. Now God told him, I want you to free my people. Now here, here was Moses. He’d been a shepherd for 40 years. Remember, he left Egypt because he killed a man. So he didn’t have good memories. He really didn’t. God is instructing him. Moses, you got to go back. You got to go back. Well, a lot of times we don’t want to go back. If we are sent by God, we know that it is going to be an anointed time. Then Moses said to God, and this is in Exodus 3. Oh, great chapter. Exodus 3. It’s a revealing of God to mankind. If I come to the people of Israel and say to them, the God of your fathers has sent me to you. Now this is Moses asking him. And they ask me, what is his name? What shall I say to them? He’s asking God. What shall I say to them? You know what God said to Moses? I am who I am. I am from the beginning. I am today. And I am forever. I am forever. That’s I am who I am. Okay, we’ve got a call. Hello. Oh, this is John from Lutland. Well, hi, John. It’s been a while. How are you? Well, I always stick to the stick to the. So, Timothy 1, 7, and I have a problem with having self control. Well, John, you’re not the only one that has trouble with self control. We all have trouble with self control, my brother. And in different may be. It seems like the listeners know what they’re doing and everything. And I stuck with the verse that goes. I lean on the verse that goes, say to those who have a fearful heart, be strong fear not. My God comes with engine even with reference to save us. Yes. Oh, that’s beautiful. John. And like you said in second Timothy 1, 7, that God has not given you a spirit of fear. And so we know that. Oh, John, so many of us have issues and have challenges in the area of self control. I think that’s why God put self control as the very last fruit of Holy Spirit because it’s the last one we achieve as believers. And so I, you know, I’ve gotten on kind of a new diet because I. Oh, I ate food and then I get bloated and then I said, Father God, I need to change my food in, you know, input. And so he said, okay, we’ll do that together. See what John, you have, you said you had an issue with self control. Well, if you know that Holy Spirit is helping you, he is right there helping you every step of the way, brother, he really is because he loves you, John. He really does. Oh, yes. It’s self control for different people. I mean self control is different for different people. Yes. And I eat for you. It’s probably food. But for me, it’s staying away from women and and they seem to be bossing me all around. And I and I just get lustful after them. And I don’t. I’m trying to all the best I can, but we can’t do it by our own. We cannot do it by our own strength, John. And that’s why we need to ask Holy Spirit to really help us. Now women do really have women have gotten so bold in this last day. And we hear that in Isaiah that women are going to become bold and fierce, even fierce. Come on. Very strong. Well, then when you realize that you are a track. Oh, I don’t know how you could be attracted to some of these women, John. But anyway, when you feel like you are being attracted to them, then what you do is bind that spirit of lust in Jesus name. Bind the spirit of lust. And here is Matthew 5 verse 8. I want you to write this down or you may know by heart already. God is going to give you a pure heart. Blessed are the ones with a pure heart for they shall see God. And that’s Matthew 5 verse 8. Say that every time that lust kind of tries to get come up. And it’s like food this morning. I was just so tempted to go and get something that has been my favorite. And I know it wasn’t good for me. And so I said, Father God, thank you for taking charge of my taste buds and my mouth and my desires. And I put them down in Jesus name. I put them down in Jesus name. So you can bind that spirit of lust, John. And Father God, I thank you for John. I thank you for his tender heart, his gentle heart. And I ask that you put a shield, a protective shield around him right now. To keep all those temptations away from him and to take the lustful spirits away from him from these women. I thank you, Father God. I bind that spirit of lust in Jesus name. And I thank you that blessed is John who has a pure heart and a pure spirit for you. In Jesus name, I thank you Lord. Thank you for this wonderful man. Wonderful, wonderful man who loves you with all his heart. Keep him safe and protect him in Jesus name. Amen. Thank you. Thank you. Listen to the pure heart for they shall see God. Oh, isn’t that beautiful? Yes. So you say that every time every time you’re tempted. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you, John. I love you. God bless you. Oh, he’s such a dear friend. Oh, he has been a power partner for probably 25 years. Oh, such a dear friend. Oh, I’m so emotional now. Where was I? I don’t know. I don’t care. But Moses heard from God in his in Exodus 3. Thank you, Lord. I feel like some of you have been so tempted by the world and you have lusted for things of the world. And I just pray right now that God would put out. I see that shield around you right now as I prayed for John that he would keep you from giving into the lust of the world. And lust comes in so many different packages, not just sexual. It comes. It comes in so many different packages. You see a piece of food or a cake or something like that or or you see gorgeous outfit. I’ve got to have it. I’ve got to have it. So you go and you you just spend everything that you have on this outfit. And then two or three days later you’re putting on you said, you know, I didn’t. I don’t find anything really pleasing about this outfit. I really don’t like it. I know I’ve been there. I’ve been there. Oh, so I pray that Father God will be with you today. I am going to go on to my confession for today by Rick renner. I declare that I wear my salvation tightly around my mind like a helmet. Yes, your mind is the battleground. And that’s where you’ve got to use scriptures like I gave to John. When the enemy tries to attack my mind and to chop away at the benefits of my salvation, his attacks are completely ineffective. My mind is convinced of all that salvation means for me. And my mind is trained and taught to think correctly according to that knowledge. Therefore, the knowledge of my salvation, that’s exactly what we’re talking about today. We were talking about behold, God is my salvation. I will trust and not be afraid. For the Lord, my God is my strength and my song. He’s become my salvation. Isaiah 12 verse 2. I live on the word friend. I really do. So my mind is convinced of all that salvation means for me and my mind is trained and taught to think correctly according to that knowledge. Therefore, the knowledge of my salvation becomes a helmet in my life. It doesn’t matter how hard the devil tries to hack away at my mind. And this is from Rick renner. I still stand strong because I know that Jesus’ death and resurrection purchased for me. I declare this by faith in Jesus’ name. Oh, and I can declare here, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. You’ve got to learn scriptures, my friend. You have to learn scriptures. In these last days, you’ve got to have a scripture like John was quoting at the very end of that prayer. Oh, blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. And that was one of the scriptures that Darren used after he was delivered and he was still tempted. Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. It works. It works. Oh, and when we hear of injustice going on in our towns and our neighborhoods, we can say the words I judge the words and actions of the wicked and God’s righteousness. I pray that God’s truth will cover the earth. See, God is just doing such great and mighty things and he’s given us the authority to use those words in saying like Isaiah 45 verse 23, I judge the words and actions of the wicked and God’s righteousness. Praise the Lord. Isaiah 11 verse 3 and 4 is an example for us of Jesus when Isaiah is prophesying about the coming of Jesus Christ. The spirit of God is upon him and then the spirit of wisdom and understanding and counsel and might and strength and power and revelation knowledge and fear of the Lord. Then he says in the third and fourth verses of Isaiah 11, he will not judge by what he sees nor make decisions by what he hears. So Father God in Jesus name, I thank you that my friends, my listeners will not judge according to what their physical eyes see nor make decisions about what they hear. But they will hear the truth that comes only from you Holy Spirit in your precious name Jesus in your precious name amen. I am reading this and studying the book of Isaiah right now and I’ve been doing this for so long 50 years next year and I have to be honest with you the first five maybe 10 years that I was reading Isaiah and also Hebrews. Those were the toughest books for me to read through because it was not easy to understand we have to ask Holy Spirit to help us to understand those words and it has become it was the most difficult book for me it’s become my favorite read and when you think that this profit received a noisy words from God of the universe and wrote them down for every generation in the future including this generation. I am in awe I am in awe that he loves so much in this book our more verses about our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ than any other book. Isaiah’s prophecies are unrivaled in all of scripture. Isaiah presents to us a description of cataclysmic judgments that are still being fulfilled today and will continue until Jesus returns and God has followed and brought and brought about fulfillment of his people Israel even to this day. A cleansed and holy people will emerge in Zion and Zion my friend is not only a physical place Mount Zion Jerusalem but it is a spiritual people who are in deep deeply in love with their heavenly father. This holy people are the outgrowth of the one called the branch and we read that in Isaiah 4 verse 2 in that day the capital B capital B branch of the Lord will be beautiful and glorious and the fruit of the earth will be the pride and the glory of all who survive in Israel. He is so bound to bring Israel to that point where we are going to go to Jerusalem someday soon to worship Jesus Christ isn’t it? Isn’t it ironic that as many countries that have wanted to destroy this tiny strip of land and have tried have never never never been successful. Never they have been determined to wipe Israel off the face of the earth and they have failed it’s because Israel is the apple of God’s eye and even during the dark ages and the time when the the Arabs and the Palestinians took over this land and it became a desolate desolate piece of ground. God had his eye on the true Israel and he brought them back from all over the world that’s our God. Oh praise the Lord this branch that is Isaiah was writing about became a living breathing human being and is the branch from which the true word church gets its nourishment and I believe that it’s so important for you to realize that God has you in his mind he really does. He has you in every part of of what he is doing you are focused on his life. I have a song here I want to to read the words of this song first all the things that I have held dear the vanities that whispered in my ear.
