Welcome to Seeds of Revelation, a short devotional presented by Rabbi Schneider, a Jewish believer in Jesus, the Messiah. One of my favorite passages from the book of Romans chapter 8 is this. I know that many of you love this passage as well. Let’s listen together. And as we hear God’s word, let’s receive God’s word deeply imparted to our soul. Because if we’ll really fully take a hold of what I’m about to read, it will give us peace, confidence, and the security that we all crave and desire. Hear the word of God. Romans 8, verse 38 and 39. Paul says, For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, or any created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus. Jesus. Why is that so important? There are so many things that could potentially happen to us in this life. There are so many scenarios that can play out in our mind about what’s going to happen to us in the future. What will the future look like? So many thoughts that could cause our hearts to tremble and make us afraid. But what we just got done hearing was that there’s nothing that we could ever experience in life that will ever separate us from God’s love. Get this, wherever you go, There God will be. If you’re worried about the future, the reason you’re worried about the future is because God is not in your thoughts about the future. But guess what? When you get to the future, your God will be there with you and his grace will be enough. It doesn’t mean that life’s gonna be easy all the time, but it means that we’re always gonna have the power, beloved one, to overcome and that he’s gonna cause everything we walk through in life, to work for our good. And Baruch Hashem, bless the name of the Lord, ultimately at the end of the day, we’re going to be with Him forever in heaven.
