Welcome to Seeds of Revelation, a short devotional presented by Rabbi Schneider, a Jewish believer in Jesus, the Messiah. I say to you, my beloved friend, Chag Sameach, which means happy holiday. I know during this time of year, many of you have such fond memories of celebrating Christmas in your home and family coming together and having a meal together, perhaps opening presents together, and many of you went to church. For me growing up, it wasn’t that way. Of course, I was raised in a Jewish home, and so we didn’t really have any experience celebrating Christmas, but I know how special that is to you. As a Jewish believer in Yeshua now, when I think about Christmas, what I’m delighted about is that the birth of Messiah into the world is the fulfillment of Messianic prophecy. We read in scriptures how in the Hebrew prophets, God told the Jewish people that one would be born from Bethlehem. who had become ruler of the nations and is going forth from long ago, from everlasting. And so as I celebrate with you this year, I think about the fulfillment of Yeshua coming into the world and fulfilling all the Hebrew prophecies. I just want to say to you, I wish you God’s very best during this special season that is so holy for many of you. I pray that God would touch your hearts, that he would visit you with a special grace, that you would feel closer to him than ever before, because Emmanuel, God, is with us. He’s with you, my beloved friend.
