Understanding the intricate roles of angels versus humans provides profound insight into spiritual realities. This episode brings to life the scriptural roles of angels as divine helpers, outlining how they assist in the unfolding of God’s plans. Cherri Campbell dissects these differences and encouraging listeners to understand their purpose and walk closer with God, embracing the fullness of heirship as children of God.
SPEAKER 01 :
Good morning. Welcome to Victorious Faith. I’m Cherri Campbell. This morning we are going to continue and conclude the message I’ve been sharing with you in the last couple of broadcasts that I preached in a series of messages in our Victorious Faith services called Who is the Holy Spirit? So join me in our live service for the conclusion of this message, part one of Who is the Holy Spirit? And in the book of Hebrews, the end of chapter one and chapter two, chapter one talks about Jesus and then the angels. And it ends with Hebrews 1.14, are not all angels ministering spirits sent forth to minister for the ears of salvation? That’s where we get in the prayer, ministering spirits go forth and minister for us to open doors, clear the path, and move obstacles. That’s from Hebrews 1.14. Sent forth to minister for us. And then in Hebrews 2, it says, don’t neglect such a great salvation. And that just follows the ministry of the angels. So the angels is part of our salvation ministry to us. And don’t neglect it. don’t ignore it and the lord said to a man of god and a prophet a couple decades ago he said my people will not be able to accomplish what they’re called to do in the last days without the help of angels and he said there are more angels in the earth and there’s more angels being dispatched from heaven on a regular basis to the earth on a regular basis in these last days to get my work done and what you’re called to do no one can do it without the assistance of angels They can go where you can’t go and do what you can’t do. They can see what you can’t see. They can change things and turn things around and put you in the path of something and bring somebody across your path or bring something across your path. And they can set things up. And the work in the ministry of angels, he said, it’s the heaviest it’s ever been in the history of the world right now. The angels are very, very, very involved in this modern day that we live in and in the end times and up until Jesus comes back. And he says there’s continually more angels being dispatched. Well, for one thing, there’s more people being born and more believers. and more believers getting saved, and then more angels assigned to them. Everybody has an angel when they’re born. Jesus talked about their angel in heaven, these children. And he says their angel in heaven never leave the face of God. And so everyone, everyone has an angel. But as you start getting involved in the work of God, you need more. And God will add more. to you according to what you’re doing more assistance more more more more and as you grow and you do more more angels come to assist and aid and to work for you in areas you can’t see and you don’t know also the demons they try to bunch up on you too but we have authority over them just shut them down in the name of jesus and then go on. But the ministry of angels. So I thought of that. I wanted to tell you that I have that on my YouTube channel, the ministry of angels. But I was thinking in studying this, well, what’s the difference between a human being and a person and an angel? And I was looking at some of the difference of these. They can speak, of course, but they are not creators and they are not given an ability to create in a sense of purpose to find it and search it out. They are ancient. I don’t know if God is still creating any. I don’t think he is. But they were given their assignment when they were created, and it, I don’t think, really changes much. Now, I don’t know. God might pull from here and put them over there. But we are created as creators in the image of God. Ability to speak and create with our words and with our hands is And we are created with a sense of purpose, which we are to seek and search it out and find it and then walk in it and do it. But we have a free will, and that’s what angels don’t have. They have a will, but they don’t have freedom of will. They’re just supposed to do what they’re told. They’re servants. We have the free will. We can choose to obey and follow or not. And that’s because we are sons or the generic word for children of God. That’s neither male nor female. It includes female. We are all sons of God, the Bible says. But we are sons of God. They are servants of God. And people think, well, when they die, they’re going to go to heaven and be an angel. And I know a lot of these old movies of the 30s, 40s, 50s, and they show somebody died and went to heaven and they have to come back and earn their wings. Well, that’s a cute fairy tale. But nobody dies and goes to heaven and earns their wings. Because becoming an angel would be a demotion. It would be going from sonship to servanthood. Angels are not higher beings than humans. Now, they are then fallen sinful humans, but not reborn humans. Because the reborn humans are sons of God. And they are servants. So we are above the angels. And so a person has a sense of purpose, whether they know what it is or not. They know they need to find out what it is and pursue it. And a person, this is the last thing, is also part, and this is something different that angels do not have. This is very different. A person is part of a culturally established form of social relations. Social relations. And we see that in the Godhead father and son. The father and the son related family. Angels are not related and they are not family. They don’t have relations. We, as children of God and all human beings, we have social relations. We have family, mother, father, sometimes brothers, sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles. There are family relations. There are friendships. And I don’t even know if angels become friends with one another and say, hey, buddy, how are you doing? And give each other a high five. I kind of doubt it, but I don’t know. But we have friendships and work relationships, meaning employer-employee relationships. We also have ownership of property, that kind of a status of a social relationship of an ownership. We have these things. Angels don’t own anything. That’s another difference between us and angels. When God gives us something, we own it. We have ownership of it. Angels don’t own anything. So I was like thinking about this. Okay, a person and these characteristics. Well, animals have the spirit, soul, and personality. But then we’re separated from the animals by the rest of these. But then we go on. But angels, they talk and they’re smart. And then you go on. But then you get down to the later characteristics. They don’t have creativity at all. and they don’t have the sense of purpose to pursue, and they are not having social relations. And they don’t have ownership of anything. So these set us as human beings created in the likeness of God. This is how we are like God. God is a creator. We are created. God has purpose. He made us with purpose. He is part of a family, father and son. He brings us into his family and he gives us family. And then he has friendships. We are the friend of God. Abraham was the friend of God. He owns things, the heavens and the earth, but he gives us ownership. ownership of things anything he gives us we have ownership of these are privileges that no other creation not even angels have praise the lord father we thank you and we praise you you are so so good thank you for your word it is a treasure chest of revelation that you desire us to hunger for and seek it out and Thank you for showing us these things tonight that we have seen in each part of the service, the revelation you’ve given us. Thank you for your presence tonight and in the worship and in the prayer time, the ministry. Thank you for ministering to each one, healing and peace, joy, deliverance. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for all the teaching you gave us. Thank you for just your loving embrace and showing us how much you love us and how we are created in your image. What a privilege and an honor it is. You love us so much because you made us in your image. We thank you for that. Lord, help us as we go to live like you, walk like you, talk like you, act like you, and give glory to you in everything we say and do. Lord, before we go, I bless each person here, and I bless those watching online as you bless them. We command blessing upon each one. Command blessing. Be blessed as you go out in Jesus’ name. Be blessed in the work of your hands. Be blessed in all that you do in the coming weeks in Jesus’ name. And I cover you in the blood of Jesus, surround you in the blood, and the angels surround you and go before you to protect you, guard you, and keep you in Jesus’ name. And if you’re watching online and if you’ve never asked Jesus Christ to come into your heart, that’s where it all starts. That’s when God becomes your father. That’s when you become adopted and born into his family. Just say, Jesus, I ask you to forgive me of my sins. I ask you to come into my heart and into my life. I give my life and surrender my life to you. I believe in you. I believe you’re the son of God. And I thank you for saving me right now. And I am now your child. And I’m now in your family. Thank you. In Jesus’ name, amen. And if you just prayed that for the first time, you are born again in the family of God.
