SPEAKER 01 :
Good morning. Welcome to Victorious Faith. I’m Cherri Campbell. This morning I’m going to continue sharing with you the message I’ve been sharing with you in the last few broadcasts, which is message number seven, the final message in a series of messages that I preached in our Victorious Faith services called, What is the Word? And this message number seven is called, What is the Word? Wisdom. a sword, and our standard. So join me now in our live service for the continuation of this message. Number seven, what is the word? Wisdom, a sword, and our standard. She came to the healing service, was listening to the word, and then goes up for prayer. And the minister, by the unction and the direction of the Holy Spirit, starts to quote, quotes Joshua 1.8. Do not let this word of God depart from your mouth, but meditate on it day and night. She just interrupted him right there. You can’t do that. How can you meditate on the word day and night? And this man, he was actually a young minister just starting in ministry and hadn’t had a lot of experience. And first time that question was really forced in his face. And he is like, OK, Holy Spirit, what do I say? And the Holy Spirit gave him the words. You’re already meditating on something all day and night. That’s what locked you up. But you’re thinking on the wrong thing. So thinking on the wrong thing, well, worry. is thinking on the wrong thing. Anxiety is thinking on the wrong thing. Depression is thinking on the wrong thing. People who have these mental illnesses, and I’m not making light of it, they’re serious, but they can all be cured by meditating on the word. All of them are rooted in thinking on the wrong thing. Thinking on the depression, what they don’t have, what they can’t do, who’s not around anymore or whatever. Anxiety, worry, all fear and doubt based. All of that worry is thinking on the wrong thing. Anxiety is thinking on the wrong thing. Can you worry day and night? Oh, yeah. The people who do it a lot are worrying day and night. They’re worrying all throughout the day. Yeah, they’re going about their business, but while they’re working, they’re worrying. And while they’re cooking, they’re worrying. And while they’re driving down the road, they’re worrying. And when they lie down in bed, what are they doing? They’re worrying. And if they go to sleep and wake up in the night, what do they think about in the night? They’re worrying. They are meditating on something day and night, and it’s the wrong thing. And so people who have depression, anxiety, worry, all of that, they are thinking on the wrong thing day and night. And so what you need to do is switch over what you’re thinking. Read the word and study and meditate on it and get two, three, four scriptures that And then memorize those. Memorize them. And all day long, actually that word meditate also means mutter. Mutter. So, so you go to work and your back is hurting. You go to work and you feel like you might be coming down with something. by his stripes, I’m healed by his stripes. I’m healed in Jesus name. He sent his word and healed me. I’m healed in Jesus name. I’m healed. And you’re muttering to yourself. You’re speaking the word to yourself by his stripes. I’m healed. I’m healed. I’m healed. Thank you, Jesus. I’m healed. I call myself healed. He sent his word and healed me. He sent his word and healed me. The Lord is my physician. The Lord is the one who heals me in Jesus name. And these are scriptures that I’ve quoted in And you speak them over your situation. So whatever it is that you’re worried about, if it’s finances, if it’s family, marriage, job, a situation that you’re facing, a physical condition, whatever it is, find God’s promises there. that he will provide for that. He will heal. He will deliver. He will restore. He will bless. He will prosper. He will protect. He will keep you from all harm. Find his promises. And then every time, and of course, let me say it like this. Worry also becomes a habit. It becomes a habit. So you will have to work to break the habit. Now they say habits can be broken in 30 days if you’re diligent and you can form a new habit if you’re diligent daily to do something different. You can change a habit. So if you are a worrier or if you live in depression, then you need to change what you’re thinking on. And it has become a habit and a lifestyle for you. You’re going to have to work hard at it at first. You’re going to have to remind yourself and pinch yourself and say, remember, God said this. God said this. And pull yourself back. Pull your mind back. God said, God said, God said, God said, God said, God said, God said, God said, God said, God said, God said. And quote scripture after scripture. And then keep that going through your mind. And then that will start to dominate gradually. If you are diligent, if you keep putting it over the worry, over the depression, it will start to dominate that thing that you’re worried about or that you’re thinking about. And you start to quote that scripture. God said, and then every time your mind starts to go toward the thing you’re worrying about. jerk it back, yank it back to the word. The word says, the word says, the word says. And as you do that, you’re training yourself. Even like an athlete is training for the Olympics or whatever. You have to train yourself to be disciplined and your mind to be disciplined. The thing is, most people are lazy with their mind. Even some people who are really strict with their body, They have a real strict physical regimen, exercise and diet. They’ll still let their mind go loose and uncontrolled. And most people are very loose and uncontrolling of their thoughts. And many say, I can’t control it. I can’t help it. I can’t help it. Yes, you can because your mind is your mind. Everybody say, my mind is my mind. I can control my mind. The devil does not control my mind. I control my mind. I think what I choose to think. And you have to know that and believe it. And the fact is you’ve taken no control. You’ve been completely lazy and let your thoughts be controlled by the devil and by other people and by the news and by the doctor that you have never taken control. You’re going to have to jerk it into control and start practicing your authority over your mind. And as it says in 1 Corinthians, taking captive every thought and casting it down, making it obedient. To the knowledge of Christ. You have to make your mind obedient. To the knowledge of God. The word of God. Make your mind obedient. Everybody say. I must make my mind obedient. Yes. Because the battle is in the mind. That’s where it starts. And then it works into your body. Your finances. Your relationships. Your marriage. All marriage problems start in the head. Bottom line. All marriage problems start in the head. And really everything else does. Because if you’ll change what you think, you can change what you believe. If you change what you believe, you change what you say. And if you get your mouth, your heart and mouth, heart and mouth together, believing and saying God’s word, that’s how God’s word comes to pass. Get your heart and mouth in line, in agreement, speaking God’s word over your finances. He’ll prosper you. He’ll bless you. He’ll meet all of your needs, satisfy your desires, that he brings wealth. The blessing of the Lord brings wealth, like we were talking about earlier. And over your body, he sent his word and healed you. He took your sicknesses and bore your diseases. By his stripes, you’re healed. All of these scriptures over your relationships speak the word. And as you believe it in your heart and say it out your mouth, you’re making the word of God trump every situation. It will rule over and change. But it starts up here in the mind and the battle starts there. And you’ve got to jerk it into control, take control over it, lasso it, tie it down to the word, anchor it. And that’s even what Hebrews chapter six talks about being an anchor for the soul. The soul needs to be anchored on God’s word. And so get God’s word in your heart. Meditate on it. So this woman said, you can’t do that. Yes, you can. You worry day and night. You must change the worry to the word. Replace all those negative thoughts with the word of God. Meditate on it day and night so that you may be careful to do. Be a doer of the word. Do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous forever. and successful. Key to prosperity, right here. Keep the word of God in your mouth, meditate it in your mind, and do it. Speak it, meditate on it, do it. Speak it, meditate on it, do it. And then you’ll be prosperous. That’s the secret to success right there. The world is seeking the secret to success. I give it to you. Joshua 1.8. And then James 1.22. Do not merely listen to the word and so deceive yourselves. That means listening only and not doing it. You are self-deceived. Do what it says. Do not merely listen to the word and so deceive yourself. Who needs the devil if you can deceive yourself? You can deceive yourself. The devil had nothing to do with it. By listening to the word and not doing it. Do what it says. So if you go to church, listen to the word, say amen, but then walk out and you don’t do it. If you read the Bible, but don’t do it, you are deceiving yourself. Be a doer of the word, act on it. James 1.25. But the man who looks intently into the perfect law… And there we focused on those words, perfect law that gives freedom. King James says liberty. Just quickly again, I don’t need to go there. But people talk about, oh, you know, that Bible is just bondage. God’s word is just bondage. No, it says here it gives freedom. Because Romans 6, 7, and 8 talk about, particularly 6, sin brings death and bondage. So people want to sin. I want to sin. I want to be free. And they’re deceived because the sin puts them in bondage. Sin puts them in bondage to Satan and the curse. God’s perfect law of liberty brings freedom from what? From the curse and from Satan. Obedience to God gives freedom from what? The curse of sin and death, lack, poverty, sickness, disease, chaos, fear, death, and freedom from Satan. So that’s a lot to be free from by being a doer of the word, the perfect law that gives freedom. The man who looks intently, that means studying it. The perfect law, the word of God that gives freedom and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing, doing, doing, doing it. He will be blessed. So how does another way blessing comes being a doer of the word? Blessing comes from being a doer of the word. What you just heard was the continuation of message number seven, the last message in a series of messages that I preached in our victorious faith services called What is the Word? And this message number seven is called What is the Word? Wisdom, a sword, and our standard. And we will continue this message again tomorrow. So join me again tomorrow. And remember, God loves you. You are blessed and highly favored by the Lord.
