SPEAKER 01 :
Good morning. Welcome to Victorious Faith. I’m Cherry Campbell. This morning, I’m going to continue sharing with you a message that I preached in one of our Victorious Faith services called Going to the Next Level. So join me now in our live service for the continuation of this message, Going to the Next Level. And verse 12, so that you may understand. It’s God’s will for you to understand. So pray in tongues, pray in tongues much. And the more you pray in tongues, you’re getting this data transfer. You’re getting revelation transfer. You’re getting the mind of God, plans and purposes, divine secrets transferred into your spirit. Do you understand it immediately? No, because it’s first downloaded into your spirit and your spirit contains that and holds it. It’s kind of like your spirit conceives the seed. It’s like conceiving. Your spirit conceives the seed of it. And it’s planted in there, and you don’t usually know it right away unless there is something specific. You’re saying, Lord, what should I do with this? And then you pray in tongues. And you may perhaps immediately translate the tongue. Shondorabakatia. Cherry, you need to go to India. You know, I don’t usually get it just like that. Actually, it never has happened. It never has happened, but it’s usually over the days following the days following or weeks. And according to the timing of God, when it’s needed, it might be years later because you can be praying out something right now for 30 years from now. When you pray in tongues. You can be praying out something for your life 30 years from now. Do you need to know it? No, because you wouldn’t have a clue what the world is going to be like in 30 years. But you’re already praying ahead. That’s good. Pray ahead. But as you need to know it, the revelation comes to your mind. Then there’s that connection between spirit and mind. And days following, when you need to know something, there will be these ideas, these concepts, thoughts. that come out of your spirit. And you start thinking on this because remember I said it conceives in your spirit and it’s kind of like you’re chewing on it. And then it comes into your mind and you get these thoughts, you get ideas. You get insights and sometimes an answer. Oh, I know what to do. That’s how this works. That’s what I should do. And then I’ve had it happen to me where the Lord said, that’s what you prayed in tongues about three days ago. Oh, okay. So you almost never get the interpretation immediately, but it usually comes days following or weeks following, depending on when it’s needed and when God wants you to have that information to act. And then he births that to your mind. It starts coming into your mind with insights and concepts and ideas. And then you pray over those. And then, of course, you pray over them and see, is this from God or is this just some crazy idea? Let me share another way to know when it’s from God is God will confirm it in different ways. One is it stays with you. for more than a 24 or 48 hour period. You know, sometimes a good idea pops in your mind and say, hey, I should do that. Well, just wait, hold on it a little bit. Don’t jump out there and do it. Because if that idea just kind of is a fly by night thing, it’ll be gone tomorrow or in a couple of days if it’s not God. And you don’t want to be chasing after every so-called good idea. But if there’s something that just stays with you and stays with you, and not just for a few days, but weeks, and then going into months, it’s like that idea doesn’t leave. That’s when I believe it’s from God. This idea just stays with you. Why? Because it’s been conceived in you. It’s a seed in your spirit, and it just doesn’t go away. So if it doesn’t go away, days go by and even weeks go by and maybe months go by and that’s still there. I believe it’s God. And then God will usually follow it with other confirmations. It can be scriptures. It can be other people in different ways. He can confirm it to you. Let me give one warning that I have discovered in following the Holy Spirit. And that is be very careful of strong desires. Because a strong desire can actually be mistaken as the voice of God. And it might not be. So you just have to understand that when it’s a strong desire of your own, you’ve really got to take extra caution and extra seeking. I’ve had things happen to me like that where it was so clear. It was almost as clear as anything else I’ve ever heard from God. But it was just a strong, strong thought feeling. I got to do this. And then come to find out. Thankfully, I haven’t done it too much. Not too many times, thankfully. But come to find out that was just my desire. And I mistook my desire for God’s leading. And so that’s just the caution. Be very careful when it is a strong personal desire. You need to pray extra. Go extra slow. Get extra confirmation. But in other ways, you know, when it’s not really just your desire, but just something keeps urging you in a certain direction, an idea keeps coming back to you. It’s like you need to act on this. And then there comes a time when any more delay becomes disobedience. Once you’ve had this idea and it stayed with you days and weeks, like, I think I need to be doing this. I think I need to be doing this. And they’re like, yeah, I really think I need to be doing this. Well, then any more delay becomes disobedience. And then you need to act. So don’t delay once you really feel, yeah, this is God. Then start moving in that direction. So, okay, we’re talking about vision. and praying in tongues to get vision. Number two, to get vision, meditate in God’s promises. Joshua 1.8 says, do not let this book of the law depart from your mouth. Meditate on it day and night so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. God’s word says, can speak to you in so many different situations, even though it’s kind of out of context. I love opening the Bible and God giving me a word, just whatever scripture my eye falls on. Now, it doesn’t happen every time I open the Bible, but I look for that. When I open my Bible, I look, okay, now where’s my eye going to fall? It’s almost like trying to gamble and see if you hit the jackpot. But God speaks to me that way. He does again and again. So I put my Bible on. OK, where’s my eye going to file? But you get the witness in your spirit. If this is something that is God’s talking to you right now through that verse, praise God. That’s what I needed. Thank you, Lord. I received that. Other times. Nope, that’s not it. Let’s go somewhere else. But I do. I do let God speak to me just by where my eye falls in the Bible. But that’s not the only way. And that’s not the main leading way. That’s usually just for encouragement more, not usually so much for guidance for my life. But he does speak to me. And then having the word, you see, meditating in the word day and night puts the word in your heart. And then out of the abundance of the heart, it actually can come into your mind. And God can actually use scriptures to speak to you and give you direction. Amen. So by having the word in you, if you don’t have it in you, it doesn’t come to you, to your mind. If you don’t have the word in you, if you haven’t taken the time to read it, study it, think on it, meditate on it, memorize it and get those scriptures in you, then when you need something, you need an answer from God. There’s nothing for God to draw on out of his word. Now he can just speak to you and quote a verse and you find out later it was a scripture. but most of the time he’s going to bring to your mind and your remembrance scriptures that you know and that you’ve read and that you’ve studied. So it’s got to be in you. Put the word in you. And then as it says, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word in Romans 10, 17. I like to put everything else in there. Hope comes by the word. Joy comes by the word. Peace comes by the word. Everything comes by the word. And also dream. That’s part of meditation. And I’m a dreamer and I’ve been a daydreamer a lot. And God has actually given me vision. Before I went to the mission field, from the time I was 12 and God was calling me to be a missionary. And over the next 18 years before God sent me, I dreamed about being a missionary. And I dreamed about walking the nations. I imagined a map of the earth and me putting one foot on one country and another foot on another country. Because I knew I was not just called to one place. It was in me from the time I first knew I was called. That it was nation to nation to nation. Nation to nation. And hopefully every nation. I don’t know that I’ll ever reach everyone, but… That’s where it is. It’s always covering multiple nations. And so I saw myself walking one foot on one nation, another foot on another nation, because I saw myself going nation to nation. And then God would use people in the Bible to say, this person is an example for you. This person is an example. For example, he showed me Paul and I read a certain scripture where he went from city to city. And God spoke that to me. You’re called to go city to city, country to country, you know. And so God can use people in the Bible who can be an example for what he is calling you to do. That’s so important. You know, Jesus, by the time he was 12. He knew he had to be about his father’s business. And he found himself in the word. By the time he was 30 and he’s reading Isaiah 61, it’s in Luke 4. And he says, the spirit of the Lord is upon me because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. And then at the end, he says, today, the scripture is fulfilled. What was that? He read Isaiah 61 and he knew it was him. He found himself in the word. You can find yourself in the word. And that’s the way God showed me my calling. In my Bible, I highlight in colors with colored pencils. I have a key at the back for all the different colors that I’m using. I use colored pencils because they don’t fade through the paper. Pencils are real nice. And there are more colors, far more colors in pencils than in highlighters. Highlighters tend to bleed through. But the color blue is my calling. I know it speaks about my call. And right here in this chapter, there’s a lot of blue there. Because when I read it, I found myself. I found myself in these verses. For example, 1 Corinthians 1.23, I have it in blue, but we preach Christ crucified. I knew that was me. I found myself. I colored it blue. And then 1 Corinthians 2.13, I colored, this is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom. but in words taught by the Spirit. What you just heard was the continuation of a message that I preached in one of our victorious faith services called Going to the Next Level. And we will continue this message again tomorrow. So join me again tomorrow. And remember, God loves you. You’re blessed and highly favored by the Lord.
