In this episode of the International Gospel Hour, our host delves into the multidimensional ways Christ satisfies the needs of believers. Listen in as we explore biblical passages that highlight the divine provision and how every need is met through faith in Jesus. Our study begins with understanding the transformation that occurs when one obtains precious faith, as mentioned by Peter. Subsequent discussions include insights from Philippians and Hebrews on life’s needs and Christ’s role as a provider.
SPEAKER 01 :
The sweet old hymn speaks of Christ. He satisfies and every need supplies. Let’s talk about a couple of areas today where Christ provides. We’re going to talk about it today right here from the International Gospel Hour. Stay with us.
SPEAKER 02 :

SPEAKER 03 :

We would love to hear from you. Unto the Christians we read from 2 Peter 1, verses 1 through 4, beginning, Simon Peter, a bondservant and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who have obtained like precious faith. He’s writing there to Christians. With us by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ. Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. Amen. as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. Friends, let’s highlight a little bit. Those who have obtained like precious faith, They changed their lives. They did so by the righteousness of God, who has given to us all things, and by which have been given to us exceeding great and precious promises, and that we may be partakers of those things. Friends, I suppose you could say, every need supplied. To the church at Philippi, we read from Philippians 4.19, And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Oh, how thankful, friends, that every need is supplied to the Christian. And there are so many things of which fall under that. But for our time allotted, I want to consider just a couple, and the more that I look at these two, it seems that all the other things that God would supply us as a Christian or supply one as a Christian would fall within one of the two. Thus, our study ahead today, and we’ll be back in a moment.

Let’s talk about every need supplied. And here’s our first one. Because Jesus delivered us. In Hebrews 2, 14 and 15. For as much then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same, that through death he might destroy him who had, or that had the power of death, that is the devil himself. And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. Jesus delivered us. And from that every need is supplied. To think about Jesus delivering us from Satan. From the very devil who actually murdered us. Listen to John 8, 43 and 44. You are of your father the devil. Or rather John 8, 44 says. You are of your father the devil and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources for he is a liar and the father of it. How Jesus delivered us from the devil. We don’t need to follow the devil when Jesus has rendered him helpless, and we need to rely upon Christ to deliver us from Satan, who will condemn our very souls. We’re delivered from the law of sin and death, stated in Romans 8, 1-3. There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. Oh, to be delivered from sin for a better life. That’s why Paul would say in Romans 6, 17, But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered. And having been set free from sin, you became slaves or servants of righteousness. Oh, every need supplied because Jesus delivers us. And when we see that, friends, Jesus delivered us when He taught us to believe in Him. John 3 and verse 16, John 8 and verse 24 says, Taught us to repent of our sins, Luke 13, 3 and 5, and commanded that repentance be preached even to this very day, as He stated in Luke 24, 44-47, and Acts 2, verse 38. And then we confess the name of Christ. We’re taught to confess Him in Hebrews 10, 32 and 33, to where Paul would say in Philippians 2, 11, that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father. And then, yes, friends, baptized into Christ. For the remission of our sins, Acts 2 and verse 38, based upon that repentance, and according to Mark 16, 16, he that believes and is baptized shall be saved based upon one’s faith. Dear friends, what a beautiful thought. That’s how we are delivered. He’s made it possible. Let’s study a little bit more about this, shall we? I’m going to pause for our J-Web. He’s got our awesome, free God and Man study available for you. He’ll tell you how you can get it. Here is our J-Web.

SPEAKER 01 :
Every need supplied because Jesus advocates for us. You see, He’s delivered us. We’re obedient. But He still pleads for us. Delivered from sin and continues to deliver as the advocate. 1 John 2, 1 and 2, My little children, these things are right to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the whole world. And you see, for that whole world, He’ll deliver them. You know, the Hebrew writer speaks of the greatness of Christ. How he is the great high priest. Just consider some verses with me. Hebrews 2.17 Therefore in all things he had to be made like his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. You see, not only is he our high priest who is passed into the heavens, Hebrews 4 and verse 4 and Hebrews 9, 24, and he’s on the right hand of the Father, Hebrews 12 and verse 2, he’s also our advocate who pleads on our behalf. He pleads our case. He represents us. He’s also of grace. He’s touched by our infirmities. Back once again to Hebrews 4, 15 and 16. So He is our advocate who pleads for us. He knows what we’re going through. He knows just what we need. He’s also giving. His atonement made by Him, as we noted in Hebrews 2.17. He was offered once, bearing our sins, Hebrews 9.28. Delivering us from Satan, sanctified through His offering, Hebrews 10.10. He is our advocate who pleads for us. He’s great. He’s grace. He is giving. Every need supplied. Have we got your attention, friends? He supplied salvation through delivering us and supplying salvation as our advocate, pleading on our behalf when we obey the gospel of Christ. Folks, right now, change your mind. Contact us for that God and man material, 855-444-6988. Learn how every need is supplied. And we’ll continue these studies together at another time. Thanks for joining me today on the International Gospel Hour. I’m Jeff Archie, and friends, keep listening.
