SPEAKER 01 :
Good morning. Welcome to Victorious Faith. I’m Cherry Campbell. This morning I’m going to continue sharing with you a message that I preached in one of our Victorious Faith services called God Loves Me. So join me now in our live service for the continuation of this message, God Loves Me. Zechariah 2.8, for this is what the Lord Almighty says, whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye. The phrase comes from a Hebrew expression that literally means that literal translation is the little man of the eye. And it refers to the tiny reflection of yourself when you’re looking up, talking to someone face to face. close distance and you can see yourself, your reflection in the people or in their eyes. They’re so close and the light is shining and you see the reflection of yourself in their eyes. It’s due to the light and the glossiness of the eye. The eye can reflect the image. of what’s in front of it. And so you can see a tiny reflection of yourself if you’re right in front of that person in the other person’s pupil. So to be the apple of someone’s eye means that you are being focused on and watched closely by that person. Your very image is central in the eyes of that person. You could say in the vision or in the focus of that person. Your image is central in their focus, in their eyesight. And so we are centrally the focus of God’s eyes, but that’s because of he cherishes. It means to also the symbolic meaning is to cherish someone that is cherished and valued above all others. Praise the Lord. So we are the apple of his eye. He cherishes us and values us greatly above all things. He loves all people equally, but he loves us above all things. Praise the Lord. We are precious to him. Isaiah 43, four, since you are precious and honored in my sight and because I love you. Could underline those words. I love you. I will give men in exchange for you and people in exchange for your life. And he gave Jesus in exchange for us. He did. We were going to die and go to hell. He gave Jesus. Jesus died and went to hell, was raised from the dead so that he could bring us many sons to glory. We are valuable to him. Matthew 6, 26. Look at the birds of the air. They do not sow or reap or store away in barns. And yet your heavenly father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Matthew 10, 30 and 31. Even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid. You’re worth more than many sparrows. You’re worth more than anything else on this earth. Even your hairs are numbered. Matthew 13, 45 and 46. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it. You are that pearl of great price. God gave his son the most valuable thing he had to buy you. He sold everything and bought you. You are the pearl of great price. We are the pearl of great price. Praise God. He paid a great price for us. Psalm 49, seven and eight. No man can redeem the life of another or give to God a ransom for him. The ransom for a life is costly. No payment is ever enough. But there was one thing that could John three 16 for God. So love the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. You know, the value of something can be determined by how much is willing to be paid for it. For example, some classic piece of artwork, an original piece, can go for tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, maybe even if it’s real valuable, a million dollars. The value is determined, though, by the one willing to spend it. Because what’s valuable to one person might not be equally valuable to another. It might be worth a million dollars to some people, but it’s not worth it to me. Just a painting to me, you know. So value is in the heart of the one willing to pay the price. And then the price is revealed, expressed, demonstrated by how much is paid. So our value, the highest value, the one who holds us in the highest value is God himself. Right? To him, we are extremely valuable. But then he demonstrated and showed how much we were worth to him when he gave his son, Jesus, to pay for us and buy us because we were cut off, separated from him, having no future with him until Jesus died for us to reconcile us to God. So the value is in the heart of the person willing to spend it. But then the value is demonstrated in action by how much he’s willing to pay. And our value and our worth is in God’s heart. And he showed how much we are worth for him to pay. And it was the bud of Jesus. Your worth lies in the one who purchased you and brought you into his family. And that’s another thing, you know, another way to look at it. For example, let’s take a child born into a family. That child’s net worth can be compared to the family’s net worth. If they’re born to a pauper, that child has monetarily no net But if they’re born to a billionaire or a trillionaire, they’re just a little tiny newborn just come into the world. And yet their net worth could be a trillion or multi-billion because of who their father is. Our value is because of our father and his worth. Who gave us birth and whose family are we in? I’m the son of God, the daughter of God. And so it’s like saying you’re the son or daughter of Donald Trump or Bill Gates and different ones. Any child born to them is going to have their net worth, the net worth of the father, unless the father would disown them. But our father will never disown us. He’s covenanted to us. And so we will always maintain the net worth of our father. How much is God worth? How much is God worth? That’s how much you’re worth. His worth is your worth. Wow. Wow. I mean, these are some amazing things that can really make your jaw drop. I’m worth that much because he’s worth that much, and he’s my father, and I’m in his family, and that’s our net worth. You just have to have the last name of God. And the family of God, and boy, your worth is out above the stars. Amen? Praise God. Praise God. So he owns the earth and the fullness thereof. His worth is incalculable. Your net worth goes up when you’re linked up with God, brought into his family. He brought you out of earth’s junk heap. He gave you birth and adopted you into his eternal family. First Peter 1, 18 and 19. For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver and gold. I mean, those aren’t worth very much that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect, perfect, sinless blood of God made flesh. That’s what paid for you. Salvation was not cheap. So he bought you and he gave you birth. So by both methods, you are valuable. You are valuable because he bought you and paid for you with the blood of Jesus, which was incalculable. And then you’re valuable because you’re born into his family and you have the net worth of him. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. Praise God. Your worth cannot be measured because the blood of Jesus cannot be measured. God’s worth cannot be measured. God never forgets us. He is always thinking of us. Isaiah 49, 15 and 16. Amplified version. And the Lord answered, can a woman forget her nursing child that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, they may forget, yet I will not forget you. Behold, I have indelibly imprinted, and that word is amplified, engraved, tattooed a picture of you on the palm of each of my hands. Oh, Zion. Remember I said that’s referring to us. Also your walls are ever before me. So God tattooed a picture of you can engraved you. I mean, how many of you have a picture of a loved one, maybe in your wallet? Do you have a, do you carry a picture of a loved one in your wallet? Do you have a picture of a loved one on your dresser on your wall at home? How often do you pull that out? God has you engraved. He says, that’s why I will not forget you. I cannot forget you. I cannot ever forget you because you are indelibly imprinted, engraved and tattooed on the palm of my hand. You’re always before me. And just like the apple of his eye, always there, the center of the focus of his vision. You are always before him. God is always thinking of us. He never forgets us. Hallelujah. Just for time, I’m going to just mention this. He delights in us. I’m going to skip Isaiah 62. You can read it. Let’s read this Zephaniah 317. The Lord, your God is with you. He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you. He will quiet you with his love. He will rejoice over you with singing. Have you ever heard that God dances over you? Do you know that that’s, there are people who will say, well, that’s not in the Bible. Well, it depends on what translation you’re looking at. The new Jerusalem Bible says it like that. but let’s read God’s word. First God’s word to the nation’s translation. The Lord, your God is with you. He is a hero who saves you. He happily rejoices over you, renews you with his love. I mean, Just think of him hovering over you as a husband puts his arm around his wife and embraces her and comforts her with his love. He renews you with his love and celebrates over you with shouts of joy. So he’s celebrating over you. What you just heard was the continuation of a message that I preached in one of our victorious faith services called God Loves Me. And we will continue this message again tomorrow. So join me again tomorrow. And remember, God loves you. You are blessed and highly favored by the Lord.
