SPEAKER 01 :
Good morning. Welcome to Victorious Faith. I’m Cherry Campbell. This morning I’m going to continue sharing with you the message I’ve been sharing with you in the last several broadcasts that I preached in one of our Victorious Faith services called Living in Perfect Peace. So join me now in our live service for part eight of this message, Living in Perfect Peace. And the thought came to me, it was so pronounced, I still remember the thought. If only we could just get in a place of peace and just live there, dwell there in heart and mind. Well, we can through the word. We’ll have the storms raging around, but we can live in the eye of the storm and a place of quietness. The promise of entering his rest still stands, but you could fall short of it. Let us be careful that none of you be found to have fallen short of it. For we also have had the gospel preached to us just as they did, the Israelites. But the message they heard was of no value to them because those who heard did not what? Combine it with faith. You’ve got to combine the promises with faith. Everything that I’ve been reading to you, all the promises about God, what he’ll do for you, deliver you, heal you, save you, protect, preserve, provide. He’ll be your fortress, defender, shield. You could look at that and say, I don’t believe that. and then it won’t happen for you and a lot of Christians do that I don’t believe God heals everybody I don’t believe God protects everybody I don’t believe God delivers everybody I don’t believe God meets every need a lot of Christians say that well then they’re not going to receive it It was of no value to them because they did not combine it with faith. You must combine the promises of God with faith. You must believe them. Now we have what? Believed. If you believe, that’s how you enter into rest. You can enter into rest by believing. by believing what God said, by believing God’s promises, that’s how you enter into rest. You believe him. You believe he’s your safety, your protection, your deliverance, your helper, your shield, your victory, your healer, your provider. You believe it. And when you believe it, you enter into rest. Just as God has said, so I declared on oath in my anger, they shall never enter my rest. And yet his work has been finished since the creation of the world. Verse nine, there remains then a Sabbath rest for the people of God. And for I put in brackets there for us, it is 24 seven. It’s not just the seventh day rest for us. It’s seven days a week, 24 seven, seven days a week. We can live in the Sabbath rest of God because every day to us is a Sabbath. For us to be in his presence. To honor him. And to receive his rest. Verse 11. Let us therefore make every effort. This again is the battle of the mind. It’s the warfare. You’ve got to make every effort to enter that rest. Casting down imaginations. And taking up the shield of faith. We’re going to get to that. Verse 11. Make every effort to enter that rest. So that none of you. No one will fall by following their example of disobedience. Their example was unbelief. We believe God. Faith is rest. If you’re not at peace and in rest, if you’re anxious or worried or fearful, you’re not in faith. Those are the opposite of faith. Faith is rest. And I’ve said before, peace and joy are two gauges of your faith level. Just like your gasoline gauge is. your fuel gauge in your car, the needle goes up and the needle goes down. And when the needle goes down, your car can run out and die and just stall and won’t be able to go any farther. Well, your joy and your peace are two gauges on your faith mobile, your faith mobile, your faith energy. How long is your faith? Can you, can you tell if your faith is still working strong? Check your peace. Check your joy. If you’ve lost your peace, your faith has gone down. I don’t know. What is it called? Electricity gauge. No power is weaker. The gauge, the needle goes down. If the amps, I’m thinking of an amp gauge, even amp gauge and the meter goes up when it’s strong and goes down when it’s weak. Check your peace and joy gauges to see how strong your faith is. Your faith, energy, power, strength can be measured by your peace and your joy. If you’re in peace, you’re in faith. If you’re not in peace, you’re not in faith. If you’re in joy, if you keep your joy, smiling and praising the Lord, you’re staying in faith. If you lose your joy, you’ve lost your faith. Your faith has gotten weak. So hundreds of times in the Bible, God said to people, do not be afraid. We can rest and trust in him and not be afraid in any circumstance. It doesn’t matter what it is, even in the middle of a storm. Look at Jesus, our example on the sea of Galilee in the midst of a terrible, ferocious, I think they called it a hurricane. Actually, I think some of the Greek language there in the Greek text identifies it was actually a hurricane they were in the middle of. Peace and standing before pilot being judged. Peace. You can hold on to peace in the midst of any circumstance. You can, if you choose to stay in faith, then this is what I’ve been saying all along. Cast down all anxious, worried and negative thoughts. Second Corinthians 10 verses three through five. For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. They’re not carnal or natural or physical. They’re not even physical. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. They are spiritual. And they are divine. We demolish arguments. This is our warfare. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God. You can say also the word of God. Because Satan comes to bring you doubt of what God said. He said to Eve back in Genesis chapter 3. Did God say? And she said, yes, God said. If you eat of this fruit, you’ll die. And then she said, yes. And Satan countered it and said, no, you won’t die. He lied countering what God said. That’s what the devil does all the time. God says by his stripes, you’re healed. The devil comes and says, you’re sick. You’re going to die. God says he meets all your needs according to his riches and glory. The devil comes and says, you’re running out. You’re not going to have enough. You’re going to starve. You’re going to freeze. You’re going to get kicked out of your house. See, the devil will always contradict and counter what God says. You’ve got to counter him. And it goes on to say, verse five, we demolish every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, or we can say the word of God. And we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. In other words, to submit to Christ. Christ, the anointed one in his anointing, submit to God, submit to the anointing, submit to the word, take it captive and cast it down and replace it with the word of God and say, I believe the word. So you have the devil’s thought and you have the Holy Spirit thought bringing you the word of God, the promises of God. You’ve got to cast down and resist the devil’s thoughts of fear, worry, and negativity. And you’ve got to take hold of the Holy Spirit’s thoughts, which are the promises of God. Say, this is what I think and what I will think. And you do war with those promises, casting down the thoughts of the devil. Now, as in closing, so we prophesied what’s going to happen in this year. It’s also going to happen next year and the next year and the next year until Jesus comes. And we saw that the laws of the spirit will continue. Let me go back and read those again. The spiritual laws will never change. They will always be operative. They are the law of love, the law of faith, the law of the creative power of words, the law of spiritual authority to rule on the earth over yourself and your circumstances and situations, the elements around you. The law of sowing and reaping, the law of wisdom, which is being led by the Holy Spirit, and the law of obedience. So what do you do? Diligently and intentionally and daily. Diligently, intentionally, and daily use the spiritual laws for yourself instead of against yourself. The laws work. Walk in love, forgiveness, and mercy. You can work that against yourself by getting in strife and division. And that gives the devil an open door. Ephesians. Ephesians 4.27. Ephesians 4, 27. Do not give the devil a foothold. But verse 26 says, in your anger, do not sin. Do not let the sun go down while you’re still angry. In other words, walk in love and forgiveness. And then the next verse, do not give the devil a foothold. So by getting out of love, by not forgiving, by getting in strife, allowing the spirit of division… you do give the devil a foothold. You could also, Peter says, giving place, give no place to the devil. You give him place. You give him room. You give him access. You give him an open door. You give him an opportunity. You give him a foothold by getting out of love, by getting in strife, division, anger, unforgiveness. So you close the door on the devil and, Keep the devil locked out by diligently walking in love, forgiveness, and mercy. Number two, the law of faith. So just stay in faith. The opposite of faith is fear, worry, and doubt. Stay out of fear, worry, anxiety, and doubt. Stay in faith. The law of the power of words. Watch over your words. Guard your tongue. The power of life and death is in the tongue. Power of life and death is in your thoughts. Guard your mind. Guard your tongue. And speak only life, only blessing, only healing, only prosperity, only the promises of God. Watch over your words and your mind. Watch your mind. Okay, let’s make it three things. Watch your heart. Walk in love. Forgiveness. and mercy. Watch your mind, your thoughts, cast out fear, doubt, worry, negativity, and stay in faith and watch over your words, your mouth, your lips, guard your tongue. Speak only words of life, health, blessing, goodness. God’s word. And then use your authority. Take authority over your circumstances and conditions. If you see anything rising up around you, a sickness, a plague, take authority. I cast it down. I break its power. It shall not come into my house. I cover my house in the blood of Jesus. That sickness will not enter my house in Jesus name. Or if you see accidents or if you see danger, threats of danger. Or threats of financial problem. Or threats of family problems. Or work problems. Use your authority. Bind and loose. Use your authority. Take authority over your circumstances and conditions. Over the curse of sin and death. And all its effects. And over evil influences working against you. Bind the devil. Loose the angels. Speak God’s word. Write that in there on your notes. Speak God’s word into every situation because God’s word will rule over the situation. Whatever you say will rule over the situation. And if you agree with the problem, the problem will rule. But if you agree with God, then God will rule and his promise will rule. What you just heard was part eight of a message that I preached in one of our victorious faith services called Living in Perfect Peace. And we will continue this message again tomorrow. So join me again tomorrow. And remember, God loves you. You are blessed and highly favored by the Lord.
