Welcome to Seeds of Revelation, a short devotional presented by Rabbi Schneider, a Jewish believer in Jesus the Messiah. Are you wise? Well, what is wisdom? Wisdom is the ability to apply knowledge in a way that is helpful and important to a specific situation. Sometimes it’s good to show great compassion. Sometimes it’s better to be stern. Sometimes you can be really, for example, soft with your child or grandchild. Sometimes you have to be firm and hold the line. Wisdom tells you how to apply godly instruction and godly knowledge to your life. Beloved, the scripture tells us that at times we need to fight. At times we need to rise up and to be engaged and to fight. But other times, for example, in Exodus 14, 14, the Lord says, the Lord will fight for you while you keep silent. Sometimes we need to just let the Lord fight the battle for us. What season are you in right now? Are you in a season where God’s calling you to rise up and fight? Or are you in a season that God is calling you just to be still and see Him go before you and work it all out? Beloved, may we all have wisdom and be led by the Holy Spirit because He that abides in Him bears much fruit.
