SPEAKER 01 :
Good morning. Welcome to Victoria’s Faith. I’m Cherry Campbell and Happy Thanksgiving. May God bless your Thanksgiving with peace and joy and the fellowship of friends and family and most importantly, the fellowship of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Even if you don’t have a lot of family and friends around, you do have the fellowship of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. And his presence is so sweet. I pray that you have some time today to soak in his presence. And I just mean fellowship with him and talk to him throughout the day. Now, this morning, I’m going to begin sharing with you another message that I preached in one of our victorious faith services called, Who Do You Say That I Am? the God of increase and multiplication. This is a sequel message to the message I’ve been sharing with you in the last few days in the series called, who do you say that I am? My abundant provider. So join me now in our live service for the beginning of this sequel message. Who do you say that I am? My God of increase and multiplication. Who do you say that I am? Part four. Who do you say that I am? Part four. And this is actually going to be continuation or part two of the message we did where two weeks ago we talked about God is El Shaddai and Jehovah Jireh. And El Shaddai, I’ll remind you, actually it comes, Shadd is the root word for breast, the breasty one, and the one who nourishes and supplies. But the verse there in Genesis 17, one is also having that word exceeding fruitful, and it’s the one who makes fruitful fruit. And the one who multiplies and increases. So I’ve just had that in my heart because actually the Lord has been speaking to me on that all week long. And so I was starting to think of a different message to go on to one of the other names of God. And it’s like my heart wasn’t in it. Because this is where God is keeping me. And so I need to stay with what God is making alive in my own heart. And so the Lord just said, add to that the increase and the multiplication. So we’re doing more of a study tonight and look at the increase and the multiplication of God. Hallelujah. Praise God. So we’ll just quickly go by our text scriptures here that we’ve read every time in this series. Matthew 16, 13 through 16 say, when Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, who do people say the son of man is? They replied, some say John the Baptist, others say Elijah, and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets. But what about you? He asked, who do you say I am? Simon Peter answered, you are the Christ, the son of the living God. And to him, that was a revelation I shared with you because actually the word Christ is the Greek translation of the Hebrew word Messiah. And Jesus went on to say that man did not reveal this to you, but the Spirit revealed it. So this was revealed. This was revelation. He had revelation that Jesus is the Messiah. To him, that meant the long-awaited one that’s going to save Israel, the one that we’ve been looking for, the one we’ve been waiting for. And so he had that revelation that Jesus is the Messiah. And so you have to have revelation. Whatever you have the revelation of God as, that will be who he is to you. So God will be to you who you say he is. You receive from him what you have faith in him to receive. You receive from him who you say he is to you. If you call him savior, he is your savior. There’s a lot of people who don’t. call him Savior, and therefore he’s not their Savior. Makes sense, right? And there’s a lot of people who don’t call him Lord, so he’s not Lord. But you and I, we call him Lord. He is our Lord. And you call him healer, then he is your healer. And I made note of this last week that there are many, many medical doctors… But you don’t call all the medical doctors your doctor. As a matter of fact, if you have insurance, the insurance company requires that you declare who your doctor is. You name one as your primary doctor. So you say, this is my doctor. Dr. So-and-so is my doctor. But you see another doctor, hi doctor, but… You know, let’s say Dr. A, B, and C, okay? I’m not going to try to think up names right now. Dr. A is your doctor, but you see Dr. B. Well, Dr. B is not your doctor. You still call him doctor, but he’s not your doctor. Well, God is healer, but he might not be your healer unless you call him. your healer because there’s a lot of christians who say well we don’t know if god heals or not healing may have passed away with the apostles god doesn’t heal everybody you know and so for them he’s not they might call themselves a christian and they might call jesus savior but but they haven’t called him healer. They haven’t received him as healer. They haven’t received that revelation. The revelation of him as healer. So it has to be revelation. He is healer and he’s mine. Just like I would declare someone my doctor, but God is my healer. Hallelujah. And then also you call him your provider and he is your provider. So who do you say he is? So let’s look at this increase and multiplication. And I’ve also been still talking on this subject on my radio program. So that’s been my series for three months now, the proofs and evidences that prosperity is God’s will. And this one… increase and multiplication is God’s great commission to the human race. You know, I just saw this. I’ve never heard anybody say it. I’ve never heard any preacher preach it. But as I was reading these verses, and especially as I was reading Genesis 128, I saw this is the great commission to the human race. Now, there was a commission to the church that Jesus gave before he ascended in heaven. He gave a great commission to the church, and I’ll mention that at the end. But here in Genesis 1, God created man, the human race, mankind, male and female. And he gave them a great commission. He gave the human race a great commission. In Genesis 1.28, God blessed them and said to them, this is your commission. Go, be fruitful, and increase in number. The King James Version says, multiply. fill the earth or replenish the earth and subdue it. That’s the great commission. So the human race has a great commission from God Almighty, creator of heaven and earth to go be fruitful, increase and multiply. Do you realize that great commission is still assigned to us today? And that great commission is still to every individual. Every individual is still assigned to be fruitful and increase and multiply. So everybody say, I am commissioned by God to be fruitful, increase, and multiply. I receive my commission. Amen. Hallelujah. So the commission was given in Genesis 128. Then it was given again to Noah in Genesis 9. After the flood, you know, there was just eight people left. And so God started all over, and he gave the Great Commission again to them. So in Genesis 9, verse 1, Then God blessed Noah and his sons, saying to them, Be fruitful and increase in number, or the King James says, multiply, and fill the earth. Verse 7, as for you, be fruitful and increase in number. Multiply on the earth and increase upon it. Hallelujah. So there again, the Great Commission was given to the whole human race, starting over again with Noah. And then God made covenant with a man named Abram. And notice that God not only really commissioned him, but gave him the commission via the blessing in Genesis 17. And we had read this when we studied El Shaddai. 17.1, and when Abram was 99, 90 years old and nine, The Lord appeared to Abram and said unto him, I am the almighty God. And we saw that in the Hebrew, those words are El Shaddai. And that El is short for Elohim, means the creator and the omnipotent one, the all-powerful one. So he’s powerful to do everything, but he’s Shaddai, meaning the nourisher, the… the one who makes fruitful and the increaser. So he’s omnipotent, all powerful to nourish, make fruitful and increase and multiply. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. So he says, I am El Shaddai. Walk before me and be thou perfect. And remember the word perfect does not mean without fault or without any weakness. It means wholehearted and wholly devoted. It’s a heart issue. Be upright before God. Walk wholeheartedly before him, keeping him as your only God, having no other gods before him. So being single-minded, single-hearted, loving the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength is basically that in a nutshell. And that’s what it means to be perfect. Not that you have no faults, but it’s the heart. And verse 2. And I will make my covenant… So there we took communion a little bit ago. Covenant is so important. I will make my covenant between me and thee. And I will, this is my part. This is what I will do. So actually, let me stop a minute. He’s talking about covenant. I’m going to make my covenant with you. And actually in chapter, this is 17. Chapter 15 is where Abram actually got the ram, the bull, and the goat. cut them in half, opened them, and let the blood run to the middle, and God walked through the pieces, passed between the pieces. Chapter 15 is where that covenant was made in blood. But now he’s confirming this covenant, and he’s extending the covenant to Abraham’s seed. And so it’s all based on covenant relationship. Now covenant relationship, as I mentioned in the communion, it’s two-sided. When we take communion, so many times, a lot of times people, they’re searching their heart, as they should, but they’re thinking of what God has done for them, and the fullness of covenant is also giving back to God everything. So it’s receiving everything from God, but it’s also giving back everything to God. It’s your heart. And Abraham and Jacob, when they received covenant, they tithed. Their tithe was their physical material giving back to God. God meets all of our needs. And he is our source and supply and life and breath. But their part of giving back to God in a covenant relationship was their tithe. What you just heard was the beginning of a message that I preached in one of our victorious faith services called, Who do you say that I am? My God of increase and multiplication. This is a sequel message to the message I’ve been sharing with you in the last few broadcasts called, Who do you say that I am? My abundant provider. And this is the sequel message, My God of increase and multiplication. We will continue this message again tomorrow. So join me again tomorrow. Have a very blessed Thanksgiving. And remember, God loves you. You are blessed and highly favored by the Lord.
