Jehovah Tob, Jehovah the good. And so in the complete Jewish Bible again, plans for well-being, not for bad things. God’s word translation plans for peace, which is the Hebrew word shalom, peace, wholeness, completeness, welfare, prosperity, health in every area of life. Plans for peace and not disaster. Plans to give you a future filled with hope. The New American Standard says plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope. God’s plans are only for good. He said so. You cannot say that God brought something bad or allowed something bad when he said, His own word says, my plans for you are to prosper you, not to harm you. Plans for good, not for disaster. Plans for well-being, not for bad. For peace, not disaster. For welfare, not for calamity. He said, I am not here to harm you or to bring bad things or disaster or calamity to you. Those are not my plans. My plans are to prosper you, bring good and welfare and peace and wholeness into every area of your life. So you cannot blame God rightly, accurately, truthfully for the bad things. He said he doesn’t do it. His plans are only good. Hallelujah. A good God does good things. Our good God wants to do good things in your life. What blesses him, what makes him happy, what pleases him is when he is able to see goodness manifested in our lives. He delights in showing mercy. He delights in blessing. He delights in giving good gifts. Praise the Lord. Amen. And then Psalm 34, 8. King James. Oh, taste and see. I’ve talked about this verse before. I think maybe on the radio. I don’t know if I did it in the service. Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good. You know, that oh really is necessary. Have you ever tasted something? Whoa, oh, that is good. Wow. Wow. You take a bite out. Oh, you got to try this. If you get a taste of this, this is good. This is good stuff. Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good. You can’t just say this is good when it’s really good. It’s oh, wow. Yeah, this is really good. Taste and see that the Lord is good. Jehovah, again, is as an italic, so it’s not in the original language. Jehovah, tobe. Blessed is the man who trusts in him. Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good. What do you do when you taste something that is super delicious? And if anybody’s around you, oh, you’ve got to try this. You want to share it. You want to tell somebody, this is so good. Here, take a bite. But guess what? Tasting is very personal. You can’t taste for somebody else. They have to taste for themselves. You can taste it. You can enjoy it. You can say, oh, this is so good. I sure wish you could taste this and try this for yourself. You’ve got to experience this. They can sit back and watch you. I’m glad you’re having a good time over there. And they’re not enjoying anything. Why? Because they didn’t taste. So everyone needs to taste of God. To taste his goodness. You cannot taste for another person. You can tell them it tastes good. That’s what your testimony does. You tell people God is good. What he did for you. He saved you. He healed you. He met your need. He was faithful to you. He delivered you. He saved your kids. He healed your marriage. That’s what testimonies do. They tell of the goodness of the Lord. And then they are to inspire other people to also taste and see that the Lord is good. That’s what a testimony is. A testimony is telling people how good God is that they should try him for their self because he did good for you and they’ll like it too if they try him. And so that’s what a testimony is. Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good. Tasting means to partake and it means to experience for yourself, to partake of him for yourself, to watch it happen for someone else is not tasting it. Come find out for yourself. Don’t just listen to us. Taste for yourself and find that the Lord is good. Amen. So that’s what your testimony should do. You just tell people how good God is and what he did for you and say, don’t you want him to? Would you like him to do some of this goodness in your life? Well, let’s pray together. You ask him and he’ll do it. Encourage people to ask the Lord to come in their heart. And if they don’t have the faith for that, just ask the Lord to heal them or to bless them. And God will do that just to wet their taste buds to want more of him and then to receive him as their savior. Praise the Lord. Psalm 3119, this is the scripture I referred to earlier when I talked about Moses being on Mount Sinai and God showed him his goodness. Moses asked to see his glory and God showed him his goodness. It’s actually written in the Hebrew, the Jewish Psalms, and it’s their commentary on the book of Psalms. And at this verse, this is where they say they believe God showed Moses the heavenly warehouses of treasures that are stored up for people on earth to receive. Now, I have heard the testimonies of many people who have gone to heaven. Some have died and gone to heaven and then came back to life or resuscitated and came back to life. And they told they went to heaven and came back. Some went to heaven in a vision or were caught up in the spirit like Paul. And many have testified that God showed them these vast, huge, endless, as far as your eye can see, warehouses. Different warehouses for different things. Some had warehouse for body parts. And in one section, it’s just the row was as long as you could see. I mean, to infinity. Arms and legs. hearts, lungs, for people on earth who needed them. And all you have to do when you’re on earth is believe you receive it, claim it, and take it. Because God has laid up for you everything you need in this life. It’s not there for after you get to heaven because, especially the body parts, you won’t need them. You’re going to have a glorified body. You’re not going to need new legs and new arms when you have a glorified body. So what are they doing there? They’re for people here. They’re physical parts for people on earth. But they’re laid up. They’re stored up. That’s Jehovah Jireh, the God who sees and provides ahead of time. And we talked about the God who saw before the foundation of the world. The works were finished before the foundation of the world. God knew everything you needed and would need every day of your life. And he put it in the warehouse before he created the earth. Before he created you. So everything you need is already there. Some also have seen pallets of money. One woman said she saw a pallet and saw it for even her baby girl. Pallet of these stacks of bills. And of course, she was in America, so they were U.S. dollars. And they were stacked high, bundles and bundles, like thousands and tens of thousands and hundreds of thousands of dollars for her little baby. What does a baby need? Diapers, clothes, future college education. And she saw where the pile would go down, but then as soon as it would go down, it would be restored again. If it went down at all, just instantly then, boop, right back up to the top, it was full again. So it would never run out. The store supply of money that you need will never run out. We just take it by faith. Faith is the arm that reaches into the unseen spirit realm and takes into the seen physical realm. Faith. Faith takes hold of what you cannot see that is promised in God’s word. And it’s there ready for you right now. It’s just across the veil. It’s not even a billion zillion miles away. The spirit realm is all around us. The Bible says there’s a veil. It’s just on the other side of the veil. Just reach through the veil, take what you need, and bring it back into the seen realm, into the unseen spirit realm, into the seen physical realm. Take what you need and receive it, whether you need a healing or a financial material need or a physical object, a car.
