Cherri emphasizes that God desires for His goodness to shine through believers’ lives.
SPEAKER 01 :
Good morning. Welcome to Victorious Faith. I’m Cherri Campbell. This morning we are going to continue and conclude the message that I’ve been sharing with you for the last several broadcasts that I preached in one of our Victorious Faith services called Jehovah Tov, Jehovah the Good. And this is in a series of messages called Who Do You Say That I Am? In which we are studying the names of God which reveal the nature and character of God. So join me now in our live service for part 8 and the conclusion of this message called Jehovah-Tob, Jehovah the good. Why? Because God intended the blessing to be the witness. The goods, the wealth, God made Abraham rich. God blessed him. And the blessing on him was what was visible. Wow, where did you get all that? How did he get so blessed? My God. And so God has chosen the blessing in our lives to be the witness and testimony to sinners to draw them that they should want. Our good God who does good things, who heals us, who protects us, delivers us, keeps our families safe and blesses us with good material things. I mean, that’s what the world wants. Well, if we have them, then we can provoke them to jealousy or to desire what we have. Then we can tell them our good God blesses us. And that is what God intended and desired to be the witness to the lost. And it’s proven in Romans 2, 4. The goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance or draws you to God, draws you to repent and receive him as your Lord and Savior. The goodness of God. God wants to be so good to us and even to heal other people and bless them. But they have to know that it’s him doing it. so that they are drawn to him. It’s not badness that draws people to God. It’s not God’s anger or even the lie that God will make you sick to teach you a lesson. That doesn’t draw anybody to God. They turn away from God when they hear that. But if you say God will heal you and bless you and restore your family, then it will draw people to God. We must let God be good to us, on us, in us, and through us until it overflows our lives and people see it. The goodness of God leads people to repentance. They see that he’s real. They see he is good and that he is desirable. He should be desired. The goodness of God in our lives is a witness to others. So we need to allow his goodness to flourish in our lives, to be a witness. A light to the lost. Praise the Lord. The goodness of God leads people to him, to God. Praise God. What are we supposed to do for the goodness? Praise him. Rejoice. Celebrate. Psalm 107, 8. Oh, that men would praise the Lord for his goodness and for his wonderful works to the children of men. 2 Chronicles 6.41. Now arise, O Lord, and come to your resting place, you and the ark of your might. May your priests, O Lord, be clothed with salvation. And here it is. May your saints rejoice in your goodness. We should praise him for his goodness, rejoice in his goodness. And one of the scriptures that we read earlier, Nehemiah, revel in his goodness. proclaim his goodness, etc. We should praise him for his goodness. We should thank him for his goodness in our lives all the time. Last of all, we need to use faith to receive Jehovah Tob, Jehovah God, the good. Because Christians who believe that God does bad things, he’ll put sickness on you. He’ll let your loved ones get killed in an accident. You never know what God’s going to do. Might make you sick or kill you. Well, they’re not receiving his goodness. And there are Christians who don’t even have hope. for the future, for good things. They just expect one bad thing after another. There are pessimistic Christians. Just expect one bad thing after another, after another. Well, we have to use our faith just like receiving him as savior, just like receiving him as healer, just like receiving him as our provider, as our deliverer. We also have to receive his goodness and his good nature. By faith. Believe it. Confess it. Every day. Psalm 23, 6. Well, you know Psalm 23. Let’s just say the whole psalm. The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, that’s earth, I will fear no evil. For you are with me, your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” Surely, do you believe that word? Surely, goodness will follow you. We sang about your goodness is running after, it’s running after me. Do you believe that? Do you believe God is chasing you with goodness, running after you with goodness, and he is bestowing his goodness on you? He wants to Use your faith to claim it. God, I believe you are good. Just lift your hand right now and say that. Say, Father God, I believe you are good. I thank you for your goodness. And I believe I receive your goodness in my life. right now and every day you daily load me with benefits you daily show me your goodness i thank you and i praise you every day of my life for your goodness you are good to me jehovah the good Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Surely you have to believe it. And Psalm 27, 13. I am still confident. Are you confident of this? I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. That’s the NIV. The King James says, I had fainted or I would have fainted unless I would have believed to see. We have to believe to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. You must believe it. You must say it. Say, God is good to me and good things are happening for me. Say it right now. God is good to me and good things are happening for me every day. Just add every day on there. Hallelujah. If you believe it, you’re excited because you expect it to happen. Psalm 13, 6, I will sing to the Lord for he has been good to me. There again, sing to him, praise him, celebrate him for his goodness. He is good to you. And last of all, singing of his goodness can bring the manifested glory of God. 2 Chronicles 5, 13 and 14, the trumpeters and singers joined in unison as with one voice to give praise and thanks to the Lord. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals, and other instruments, they raised their voices in praise to the Lord and sang, “‘For he is good, his love endures forever.'” Then the temple of the Lord was filled with a cloud, the cloud of the glory. And the priests could not perform their service because of the cloud. For the glory of the Lord filled the temple of God. If you sing of his goodness, the Lord is good. His love endures forever. God is good to me. You can do that in your home. I believe you can experience the glory coming in your house, coming into your bedroom, into your kitchen. into your family. If you’re singing and thanking him in the car, the glory can fill your car when you give him thanks for his goodness. Sing of his goodness. Give him thanks and praise for his goodness. And the glory of the Lord will fill your car, fill your kitchen, fill your bedroom, wherever you are, or in the shower. So sing to the Lord. Give him thanks and praise for his goodness. I will sing to the Lord for he has been good to me. We are confident that we will see the goodness of the Lord. Amen. Hallelujah. Father, we thank you and praise you because you are so, so good. You have been faithful to us, Lord, every day of our lives as we already sang about that your goodness is running after us. We thank you. Thank you. Thank you. We believe to see the goodness of God. We are confident we will see your goodness every single day. you are jehovah the good there is no bad in you there is no shadow of turning every good and perfect gift comes from you only good comes from you you give life more abundantly and we have learned to resist the devil and he will flee from us we resist the bad things we bind them and you give us the victory and the deliverance in times of trouble and you shower us with good things. Father, we thank you for that. We give you thanks, glory, and honor and praise right now as we thank you. Lift your hands and say, thank you, God. Thank you, Father, for your goodness to me. Thank you, Father. In Jesus’ name, and everyone said, amen and amen. Well, if you’re watching online and you haven’t asked Jesus into your heart, just say, Jesus, come into my heart. Be my Lord and Savior. I believe you’re the son of God. I believe you died on the cross and he will now instantly come into your heart. Receive him as your healer. Receive him as your provider. Receive him as your deliverer, your victory, your peace, your joy, and receive him as the giver of good gifts in your life. And write to me. I want to hear from you.
