SPEAKER 01 :
Welcome to Calda Freedom. Oh, friend, live a life of love. I can tell you today, live a life of love, not of hate or prejudice. No, it’ll never do. Just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. And we read that all through the New Testament. One of the best teachers that I listened to in the late 70s, 80s, 90s, that really got me into a foundational acceptance of Jesus Christ and God and Holy Spirit was Derrick Prince. And he said this about his Bible. I underline my Bible with everything that pertains to faith. And healing and long life. He underlines everything that pertains to faith, healing and long life in blue. That’s like I use my four color pen in my Bible to underline God’s words in red, God and Jesus Christ. And then the facts that are going on, like he traveled into Bethlehem. I do that in black and then in blue. And green are men’s conversations, men and women’s conversations in the Bible. And it really helps me to find that reference that I’m looking for so much quicker. But here’s what Derek Prince said. I underline my Bible with everything that pertains to faith, healing, and long life in blue. And guess what I wind up with? A blue Bible. Yeah. Because God promises that he gives us the faith to believe in healing by his stripes. We are healed and long life. And I want to read it just a portion of Psalm 91. This is God speaking back to the author of Psalm 91. And he says, because he has loved me. God is saying this to him because he has loved me. Capital M. Therefore, I will deliver him. I will set him securely on high because he has known my name. He will call upon me and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will rescue him and honor him with long life. I will satisfy him and let him behold my salvation. Such a beautiful promise for us, friend. And you may not be feeling really great today, but you know that God is going to sustain you. He’s going to give you the strength you need to do what you need to do today. and give us this day. That’s what Jesus said. As you’re learning to obey the Father and me, you’re going to go day by day, not from the past and not into the future, but every day, this day, today. So I pray that you will live that beautiful life of love that God has promised for you. You are blessed to dispense, for in him you live and move and have your being. I don’t think we’re going to hear from Kimberly this week. I got a call from her today. She’s enjoying South Carolina, and she’s enjoying her great-nephews and Rebecca and Brandon. And Brandon is an EMT there, as he was in Colorado Springs when they lived here. And he has to go on call 48 hours at a time. He goes 48 hours, then off 24. It’s a busy time for him and for Rebecca. And so Kimberly is praying for them. And this couldn’t be the worst. It’s just a terrible time on the eastern coast right now with 100 degree temperatures. And Kimberly says, yeah, the humidity is just really amazing. And we don’t have the breeze here in South Carolina like we do in Oklahoma. So he’s just going to see a friend that moved to South Carolina from Oklahoma tomorrow. And so she won’t be on the air with me. But we’re praying for you, Kimberly. We’re praying that you will have a wonderful week, a full week of satisfaction in everything that you do. Praise the Lord. Our memory verses for this week are found in Romans 8, verse 15. Oh, this is such a good book. The whole book of Romans, friends, you’ve got to read through Romans, and especially the eighth chapter. From the seventh chapter, oh, that which I want to do, I don’t do, that which I don’t want to do, I do. His flesh is really crying out, oh, what am I going to do? And then thanks be to God. Oh, God is going to deliver him and you and me out of all those moments that we don’t even know what we’re doing. And here in Romans 8 and the eighth chapter begins with there is therefore now no condemnation. All right. So if you’re feeling guilty or overwhelmed about your own situation today, there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. For the spirit of the law of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death. And here’s the memory verse from that chapter, Romans 8, and it’s the 15th verse. For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear. Again, we’re going to be talking about fear today because fear is rampant right now in the whole world. But you have received a spirit of adoption as sons and daughters by which we cry out, Abba, Father, Abba, Father. And I remember when one of our friends went to Israel and she said it was such a joy to hear these children running up the street saying, Abba, Abba, Abba, calling after their dads. It’s just so fun. And Kimberly even remarked about that. In the Passion Translation, Romans 8, we’re going to read from the 14th to the 17th verse. That voice inside of you, not by what you see or by what you feel or what you hear or what you taste, what you smell. You’re not going to be directed by those things, even though I know food smells so good. Sometimes you go into a place and, oh, the smell is overwhelming. No, but you’re not going to be moved by the impulses of the world. And you did not receive the spirit of religious duty leading you back into the fear of never being good enough. And that’s a fear. Really great fear. But you have received the spirit of full acceptance, enfolding you into the family of God, and you will never feel orphaned. For as he rises up within us, our spirits join him in saying the words of tender affection. I was telling you yesterday, you no longer care about whether you had good parents being raised by good parents, or if you had a bad father. You’re no longer concerned about that, because now you’re in a wonderful family, and you And your Father God is your Father, and you look to him for guidance and protection every day. For the Holy Spirit makes God’s fatherhood real to us as he whispers into our innermost being, you are God’s beloved child. And since we are his true children, we qualify to share all his treasures. For indeed, we are heirs of God himself. Heirs. Now, I don’t think I’ll ever be an heir. And I had maybe an inheritance from my mother, but I gave it to my brother. So the only inheritance I have spiritual praise God I’ve got spiritual inheritance and since we are joined to Christ we also inherit all that he is all that Jesus is and all that he has we will experience being co glorified with him. provided we accept his sufferings as our own. As Paul said in Philippians 3.10, that I may know him and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of his suffering. We need to realize that we are going to be persecuted. We are going to have trials and temptations. And we say with Paul in Galatians 2.20, I am crucified with Christ. Nevertheless, I live. Yet not I, but Christ lives in me. Praise the Lord. Well, fear may try to grasp your heart and have you in a frenzy for one reason or another. You get in a frenzy. You don’t know what to do. You don’t know how to make a decision, a decent decision. But remember that there is no fear and doubt when it comes to God’s love and care for you. This morning when I went into the office, there was this dang, dang, dang, and if you’ve got any generator or a surge on your computer, and when it goes, it goes, and dang, dang, and it was continual. I said, oh, I might have to go to micro center. And then Kimberly called me to tell me how she was doing. She says, Mom, it might have just you unplugging like an extension cord. Just unplug that and It may not have anything to do with the computer itself. It’s just keeping from power surge happening. I think she’s right there. So after this program, I’m going to go home and get on my knees and unplug that generator so I don’t hear the bang, bang. All the time. Oh, wow. The things we have to put up with in this world. I’ll be so glad, so blessed, so absolutely joyful when we get to see our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Verse 17 of Romans 8. We qualify to share all his treasures, for indeed we are heirs of God himself. Now, Israel is sharing that. Those who accept Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord, the Jewish people, Israel, we’re all in the same family. He’s broken down the wall of division and made us one man in Ephesians 2. So there’s no more division. I’m going to be talking about that tomorrow, that we are grafted in, and so we are his true children. Pray. Praise God. I love that. I love the fact that we can acknowledge him as our Savior and Lord. So we know that God’s going to love and care for us. He’s not given us that spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind. Remember that when you get in an anxious moment of being tossed back and forth, you don’t know what kind of decisions to make. What am I going to do? What am I going to do? What am I going to do? Stop. Just stop for a moment and just realize. I even put my hands on my heart. Thank you, Lord Jesus. You are giving me direction. You’re giving me your wisdom and understanding about this situation. And I thank you and I praise you. So fear has been that primary mode of distraction that the enemy has for God’s people ever since the Garden of Eden. Remember Eve? Okay, we do. We know Eve. Good old Eve, the blamer. Eve had every tree to eat from in the Garden of Eden. And what did the serpent do? He pointed to one tree in the garden. He distracted her for a moment. And look what that distraction did. Oh. It’s just unbelievable what we can get distracted to. Oh, wow, I saw that. When we go in traffic, oh, wow, look at that. Oh, he almost hit that other car. Oh, and we’re going back and forth from one bad driver to another one that’s swerving in and out to a motorcycle who’s going in and out of traffic. Oh, wow. And so we cannot be like Eve who was distracted for a moment. We know we have an enemy who is on the prowl, and he’s seeking anyone who has one foot in the world and the other foot trying desperately to please God, which we know he can’t please God when he’s got one foot in the world. Cannot please God, friend, when you’re sitting on the fence. We also know that the devil is a liar and the father of lies. How he tries to finagle his way into people’s hearts is just appalling to me. That’s why it’s so important that we keep our minds on the things of God as 2 Corinthians 4.18 tells us. And it says, while we look not at the things which are seen, those things that we see, those are such temptations for us. But at the things which are not seen. If you’re watching a commercial and you see a commercial for Doritos, what do you want? You want to go get a bag of Doritos. Yeah. And if you’ve got to, you call DoorDash to get a bag of Doritos. Or you get in your car and you go down to the grocery store and you get a bag of Doritos. I wonder when we eat, as we eat that bag or the potato chips. I’m into potato chips. That’s just, I have to really live it myself. If we really are satisfied with that. If we truly are, we tell each other that. So we find that we don’t look at the things that are seen. We look at the things that are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary. After you eat that bag of Doritos, what happens? In two or three days, you want another bag. It’s temporary. The satisfaction is temporary. But the things which are not seen are eternal. Praise God. And Colossians 3, 2 says, set your mind on things above and not on things on this earth. So we don’t focus on the things on this earth. We focus on the things above. that are heavenly in the heavens and are in the spirit realm around us. Praise the Lord. I know that’s a difficult thing to do because we live our lives daily, touching the physical world in our work, in our eating, in our activities. But there’s an attitude that we take with us every moment of every day when we have made a decision. And that’s a decision. We make multiple thousands of decisions every day. Every day you’re making a decision to obey God rather than man, as Peter said in the book of Acts. So we have an enemy who’s trying his best to get us off track. What do we do? First of all, we see that in those two camps, the good and the evil, you’re either in a good camp or you’re an evil camp. You’re either serving God in the kingdom of light or you’re serving the devil in the kingdom of darkness. There’s no other option. No, not at all. We must discern how Satan operates. His modus operandi is to kill, steal, and destroy. And he does that with great pleasure and precision. When he operates in human beings, we tend to look at the person and what is making them do the despicable things that they’re doing. That’s the enemy in full regalia. And we must not judge that person by his actions. No, we can’t do that as believers. We just can’t do that. Well, you should see how he went into that bar the other night and he came out hours later. Can you imagine? He’s probably drunker than a skunk. We cannot judge by people’s actions. But in prayer, ask Holy Spirit to intervene. That’s what we do. Ephesians 6, 10 through 12 in the New Living Translation says, Be strong in the Lord. You’ve heard this for years. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all the strategies of the devil. And I say one of the most important offensive weapons that you use is your Bible. That’s the sword of the spirit in Ephesians 6. The sword of the spirit. Verse 12 of Ephesians 6 says, against flesh and blood enemies. I know you may be in a real serious disagreement with someone who’s a human being, family member, whoever it is. You may be in a real disagreement or in an argument or a very divisive situation with another human being, but it is not flesh and blood that you are coming against. It’s the enemy who is pressing in on that person and influencing that person. You’re coming against evil rulers and authorities of unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, against evil spirits in the heavenly places. And that’s from Ephesians 6, 10 through 12. And as we saw just Saturday, this last weekend, Moses, that Trump and all the armed forces, they were magnificent. I mean, not one death. And they brought about the midnight hammer with such precision that because there is an enemy there, there is an enemy, a spiritual enemy, who has put in disguise these people in a country that are wanting death to the world that does not believe in Allah. And they are willing to kill for that. And so we know that when the enemy takes over a person, we must bind in Jesus’ name. And I want to talk about that a little bit. When we go into the binding and loosing, it’s important to know that Jesus is the one who started it all. When you pray against these demonic actions you see in people, Jesus told us to bind or forbid those spirits to operate in our loved ones and those we see carrying out the enemy’s desires. You will find that in Matthew 16, 19. And then again, just two chapters later, Jesus is emphasizing it once more in Matthew 18, 18 and 19. This is so important, folks. Don’t get all riled up about how he’s acting or how the behavior is just unconscionable. No, you ask Holy Spirit, Holy Spirit, what spirits are in operation there? And he will give you it. If there is lies, deception, hate, whatever it is, he will tell you if it’s a spirit of hatred, a spirit of mockery, a spirit of blasphemy. He’s coming, actually coming against God. That’s a spirit of blasphemy. And that’s what Jesus is saying here. It’s so important. He’s giving us the keys of the kingdom in Matthew 16, 19. He said, I give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven. This is such a powerful revelation. And so many, I’m going to say Christians, don’t apply this great teaching in their lives. I just, it’s just… I don’t have words. I really don’t. This binding thing is forbidding. You forbid that spirit to operate in that person that you love. Just yesterday, a dear friend of mine, we were attacking the bindweed in my yard. And when it begins to grow, it grows and it suffocates the plants. Because it binds itself around it. It was twisted around my precious lilac bushes and into the evergreen, the ground cover. And so we were pulling up bindweed after bindweed. Oh, they’ve got beautiful flowers. Oh, my goodness. In fact, my friend says, don’t you want to leave the flowers? No, no. We want to get rid of this bindweed because it’s suffocating out the good stuff. And that’s what the tempter does. Satan wants to do. He wants to twist his binding weed all around you. And so we’ve got to bind those spirits in Jesus name. It’s so powerful, friend. I hope you will read that Matthew 16, 19 on binding and loosing, loosing those spirits of truth and purity and holiness into that precious person that you love. oh it’s time to praise him it’s our attitudes of thanksgiving and praise that’ll take us to higher plane when we can imagine than we can imagine because god lives in our praises and listen to this verse from praise the lord when you’re up against a struggle that shatters all your dreams and your hopes are crushed by satan’s manifested schemes oh he’s got schemes and you feel the urge within you to submit to earthly fear. Don’t let the faith you’re standing in seem to disappear. Praise the Lord. He can work through those who praise him. Praise the Lord. Here’s Russ Taff.

When you’re up against a struggle That shatters all your dreams And your hopes have been cruelly crushed By Satan’s manifested scheme And you feel the urge within you To submit to earthly fears Don’t let the faith you’re standing in Seem to disappear
SPEAKER 04 :
The chains that seem to bind you Serve only to remind you That they drop powerless behind you When you praise Him Now Satan is a liar And he wants to make us think That we are paupers When he knows himself We’re children of the King
SPEAKER 06 :
so lift up the mighty shield of faith for the battle must be won we know that jesus christ is risen For the chains that seem to bind you So only to remind you That they drop powerless

Oh, praise God. Oh, that’s another song I absolutely love. We went to hear the Imperials so many times during the 80s. I probably had more albums of the Imperials than anything else. In fact, when the girls were real small, they had puppets. And they would just have their puppet show with the music from the Imperials. I want you to know that David was a man. after god’s heart i desire if there’s one thing i desire in my life here is that when i stand before god he says you are a woman after my heart i want that more than anything else anything else and he says in psalm 22 and this is a messianic psalm my god my god how why hast thou forsaken me All through this chapter, chapter 22 of Psalm, he’s talking about what’s going to happen when Jesus is dying on the cross. But that third verse, the third verse, he says, yet God, see, he’s talking about God. Why have you forsaken me? Sometimes David starts a chapter with his feelings, and then he ends it praising God. In the third verse of Psalm 22, he says, Yet thou art holy, O thou who art enthroned upon the praises of Israel. God is enthroned upon your praises today, friend. So whatever you find your situation, in your situation, or wherever you find yourself today, remember that when you say, Thank you, Jesus. I praise you and I thank you no matter what comes along today. You’re going to be on my lips with praise because you alone are holy. God bless you and keep you. It’s been so wonderful being with you today. And I want you to remember, very last thing, take joy.
