SPEAKER 01 :
Good morning. Welcome to Victorious Faith. I’m Cherry Campbell. This morning, I’m going to continue sharing with you the lesson I’ve been sharing with you in the last several broadcasts that I taught in a class called Understanding the Kingdom of God. And we are now going through a summary of each of the seven primary spiritual laws of the kingdom of God. And this lesson number 13 is a summary of the spiritual law of the creative power of words. So join me now in our live service for a continuation of Lesson 13, a summary of the spiritual law of the creative power of words. I went over to that dog and I laid hands on it and I prayed in the name of Jesus be healed and I left. Well, then I was gone for about six weeks and then I came back and that dog was running on all four legs and I asked, When did that happen? And they didn’t know I had prayed. And they said, it was about the time you left. About the time you left, it started running. And then there was another crippled dog with a crippled front paw that I prayed over. And he just immediately started running on all four. It’s easier to pray for them because they’re under our authority. They’re created to obey and submit to us. And so we need to be learning to exercise our authority over the creation. That’s where we’re talking on the sons of God. And in Romans 8, verse 19 says, the creation is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God to be liberated from its bondage to decay. We are supposed to stand up and take our place as sons of God, exercising the laws of the kingdom and the law of authority and liberate the creation, the trees, the animals, the dogs from their bondage to decay. That’s our job. It’s our job. That’s what we were put here for, to rule over the earth and to rule over them. And they submit to our authority just like that. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. I remember in a crusade that I was doing in the islands and we were outdoors, of course, and it was coming on tonight. But as it does so much in the islands, it rains and rains and rains. And we were doing an outdoor crusade. and everybody was praising the Lord, and it was raining. And so I just pretended I was praising the Lord, but I just stretched out my hand. I lifted up my hand to the sky. I was kind of pointing to the sky, and I said, in the name of Jesus, I command this rain to stop. Within two or three minutes, it stopped, and we had a dry service. So praise the Lord. I mean, I could tell you those kind of stories are countless. I’ve heard of so many stories of tornadoes being turned. I’ve heard of tornadoes being rerouted when a believer would speak to it and say go. I remember hearing one person say they were in a small private propeller plane and flying, you know, low. They’re not a big plane. And they saw out in front of them a tornado come down out of the sky, out of the cloud. And that guy just spoke to it. No, you don’t. Get back up in there. And it just went right back up. Right back up. We are supposed to be acting as the sons of God in the earth, ruling and reigning in the earth as kings in the earth. That’s why that’s what Genesis 126 is all about. God said, let us make man in our image and in our likeness. We have not only that authority, but then the responsibility. We’re supposed to be doing this. And many Christians don’t know about it. And so they’re crying and saying, God, help me. God, help me. Why doesn’t this work? Speak to it. Exercise your authority. Command it in the name of Jesus. Release the power of life in your words because you are created in the image of God. Just as Jesus said, my words are spirit and life. So are your words. Your words control your life. Go to James chapter three. Go to James chapter three. And we can start in verse two, three, two. We all stumble in many ways. If anyone is never at fault in what he says, he is a perfect man. Now that word perfect does not mean flawless or blameless. It means developed. It means mature. So in other words, this is a sign of maturity. If you want to know what a mature Christian is, this is what it is. A mature, developed Christian is one who is never at fault in what he says. He is the perfect man or mature man able to keep his whole body in check. Verse 3. When we put bits into the mouths of horses to make them obey us, we can turn the whole animal… Or take ships as an example. Although they are so large and are driven by strong winds, they are steered by a very small rudder wherever the pilot wants to go. Verse 5. Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body. but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. We’ll stop right there. As a bit in a horse’s mouth is relatively small compared to the size of a horse. Horse is big. A bit is small. And yet that little bit can steer and direct where that horse goes. Same thing with the rudder of a ship. We would today more likely be able to relate to the steering wheel on a car. How many of you drive? So you’ve held the steering wheel. It’s a small part of the car. And the steering wheel guides the whole car. It guides where it goes. In the same way, your tongue is a small part of your body, but your tongue is guiding your whole life. Oh, wow. Just think of that. In other words, take a look at where you are and ask, how did you get here? The tongue steered you there. If you want to know why you are in the condition you’re in today, why you are where you are, it was the tongue that steered you to this spot because the little tongue is the steering wheel of your whole life. You are what you are today and where you are today because of your tongue. Totally. Totally. Why? Because the power of life and death is in the tongue. The tongue steers your life. Your tongue creates or it destroys. It builds up or it tears down. What things do you say most often? Those things are the things that you are steering your life into. Some people think they’re so amazing because they’re so prophetic. This time of year, I always get the flu. I always get the flu this time of year. And then they get the flu. And then they say, see, I told you so. See? And then they think they’re so prophetic they can predict. No, that wasn’t prophetic. It was because you said it. You directed your life there. You see, the words that you speak… are guiding and directing and controlling your life, just as the steering wheel or the bit steers the horse. Look at chapter 1 of James. Chapter 1 of James. Now, remember, let me just read this again. Chapter 3, verse 2. says, if anyone is never at fault in what he says, he is a perfect, that’s mature or developed man. If he’s never at fault in what he says. Well, go back to James 1, 26.

SPEAKER 01 :
If any man, anyone considers himself religious. Now, that word, you know, sometimes we have a negative idea about religious. I’m not religious, you know. Well, in this context, it’s a good thing. It means spiritual. If you think you’re spiritual, how many of you think you’re spiritual? I do. I believe I’m spiritual. If anyone considers himself religious, let’s say the word spiritual, and yet does not keep a tight rein on his tongue, he deceives himself. And his religion or his spirituality is worthless. If you think you’re so spiritual, I’m really spiritual, but you don’t keep a tight rein on your tongue, you’re deceiving yourself and your spirituality is worthless. It’s amazing. That’s a strong statement. But I didn’t say it. James did. And James didn’t say it. The Holy Spirit did. Amen. Amen. Amen. Now, we see that we are created in the image of God. to speak words just like God speaks words. That’s what I was going to say. Thank you, Holy Spirit. Back to Genesis 2, 7 again. Genesis 2, 7. God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life. We’ll say spirited into him the spirit of life. And the man became a living being. Now, in the Jewish commentaries of the rabbis, They make this comment that where it says man became a living being, man became a speaking spirit. That’s in the commentaries by the Jewish rabbis, the ancient, ancient commentaries, the old way back original commentaries of that scripture. Man became a living being. Man became a speaking spirit. And the thing that that points out is that No other created creature has the authority to speak words by choice or ability. Now, animals don’t speak. A parrot might be able to imitate, but they cannot choose intelligent conversation. Animals don’t speak. Angels do speak, but they’re not allowed to choose their words. They say what God tells them to say. Angels do not choose their words. They say what God tells them to say. The ones around the throne cry, holy, holy, holy. The ones that come to earth come with a message like Gabriel. Came with a message. And they say what God told them to say. They don’t have the right to choose their words. Satan tried it. He was Lucifer originally. And he said, I will make myself like the most high. And God said, no, you won’t. And he booted him right out of heaven. Satan, or originally he was called Lucifer, tried to choose his own words and choose his own way. And he did not have the right to do it. And besides that, it was treason. He was also trying to overthrow God. which is a big issue. You’re not going to be able to overthrow God and set yourself up above God. But it was that issue of pride and rebellion, but in choosing words, I’m going to do this, that got him kicked out of heaven and made him a fallen angel. He didn’t have the right. Angels don’t have the right. You know, this is what’s so amazing. This is why Satan hates you. Let me show you this. Go back to Isaiah 14. Isaiah 14. Now, starting in verse 12 is where we see Satan’s fall. How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star. That is actually also Lucifer. That is Satan, son of the dawn. You’ve been cast down to the earth. And then verse 13, you said in your heart, I will ascend to heaven. I will raise my throne above the stars of God. I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly on the utmost heights of the sacred mountain. See, he was wanting to be God, raise himself up to God’s throne. Verse 14, I will ascend above the tops of the clouds. Look at this. I will make myself like the most high. Like, like, underline or notice the word like the most high. He wanted to be like the most high. He didn’t have the right and it got him kicked out of heaven. He got kicked to the earth. And then sometime afterward, God said, let us make man in our image and in our likeness. What you just heard was a continuation of lesson 13 in a class that I taught called The Kingdom of God. And this lesson 13 is a summary of the spiritual law of the creative power of words. And we will continue this lesson again tomorrow. So join me again tomorrow. And remember, God loves you. You are blessed and highly favored by the Lord.
