Praise the Lord. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Welcome to Victorious Faith. I’m Cherri Campbell. Today I’m going to begin sharing with you another message that I preached in one of our Victorious Faith services called Our Blood Covenant with God. This lesson is very foundational for every Christian to understand and implement in their lives. This message can be life-impacting. So join me now in our live service for part one of this lesson called Our Blood Covenant with God. The Blood Covenant. And this is a subject for me that has been a foundation in my life since 1996. Now, I had heard the teaching before that and had learned about Blood Covenant. But in 1996, on January 1st, New Year’s Day, I was spending time with the Lord. And the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, take communion every day for 30 days. And meditate on the blood covenant and what it means to you today. And that 30 days made a huge impact in my life. And people have asked sometimes how I was able to go to the mission field. Because I traveled for 12 and a half years as a single woman. And I didn’t have a companion. So in the natural, I traveled alone. But I always said that I traveled with the Father, the Son, the Holy Ghost, and the host of angels. Amen. And yet, in the natural, I was alone. And if you’ve not been in other countries… you would have a hard time understanding, but the things you confront when you’re traveling in foreign nations and even going into a foreign airport and times when you expect your host to be there, but they’re not there. What do you do? And they speak a different language. And sometimes if I just waited a few hours, the host would show up. Or one time, my second time in India, I arrived in Mumbai in the middle of the night. It was almost midnight. And I come out of the airport. And back then, it was even different than it is today. They’ve… changed a lot, where they’ve modernized, they’ve westernized, and even the spiritual atmosphere has changed. You can tangibly feel the difference. But back then, I came out of the airport in the middle of the night, pitch black, like almost midnight, and I’m standing there waiting for my host, and he doesn’t come. And this is only my second time in the country. And I didn’t know my way around. And India is exotic, very different. And part of their culture is that the boys and the men that are taxi drivers come up and let me take your luggage. Let me get in my car, get in my car. And I’m like, stay away from me. Stay away from me. You know, it’s like, God help me. And I’d turn around and I’d go back inside the airport and then wait and realize they’re not coming. It’s the middle of the night. What do I do? I have to find a hotel. So there’s a hotel desk and I just ask them to help me get to a hotel. And then going to the hotel and resisting fear, Lord, how do I get in touch with them? What do I do? Tomorrow, it’s like, don’t worry about it. Just go to sleep. And these kind of experiences, and more than once, I’ve been left at the airport with no one showing up. And it’s quite an adventure thinking, what am I going to do now? And where do I go? And how do I reach them? And different things. That’s just one example. But you totally have to rely on the Holy Spirit. There is nobody else. No one. Because there’s no one around you that you can even trust. And there’s no one but the Holy Spirit to rely on. And so people have asked, how, Cherri, could you go like that into foreign countries? And there was more than once. Most of the time I went into a country on the invitation of someone that I had already met in person. so I knew them in person. There were a couple times God directed me to go to a country that I’d never been to before to meet someone I had never met before. And so getting off the plane to meet this person for the very first time, we had communicated only by email. And there again, it was by the leading of the Holy Spirit because somehow your email just gets mass spread. And I would get emails from people in different countries I’d never heard of before. And most of the time you just see it, delete, delete, delete, delete, delete. I mean, don’t even give it a second thought. And yet, twice, I got an email, and as before I deleted, the Holy Spirit said, wait, don’t delete. And then read it, and I didn’t answer, just went away from it for a few days, went back and read it again, and the Holy Spirit said, answer that. And I’d answer, and then we’d start going back and forth. And then I could discern their heart and their spirit. As we would communicate by email back and forth. And I could think, this is a right spirit. And God wants me to do something here. And going into a brand new place where I only met them through an email and I didn’t hit delete. And… So getting off the plane and then meeting him in person for the first time. And both of those relationships were good, strong relationships that grew and developed out of that first email that I didn’t delete, you know, by following the Holy Spirit. And they were good relationships. And so, you know, it’s amazing. But how? And I go back to this being one of the main, main key factors. And that is that I understood my blood covenant with the Lord and blood covenant. Actually, a marriage is a blood covenant. And so when you look at the blood covenant that we have with God, like a marriage, in a marriage, when you’re in a blood covenant relationship, it adds a confidence and a trust in that other person that you have a covenant with. There’s a trust there. Now, the sad thing is when that trust gets betrayed. But the best and the right thing in a good marriage is that you can totally trust that person. And you can be vulnerable to them. And you know you can depend on them. And then not only that, but you can also, there’s an openness and a freedom that you can express yourself openly to them. And that is the way our relationship can be with God. When we understand that we are in a blood covenant, it is actually like a marriage that we have with God. And therefore, our relationship with him can be one of total trust. And we know that he’ll never break his word. He never has and he never will. And we can be open with him. We can rely on him. We can express our thoughts and feelings and not feel like he’s going to reject us or anything. And so that interrelationship is what grows out of revelation of blood covenant and that relationship with the Lord. And a lot of Christians still have a fear of God. And that will hinder your faith and your trust in him. And even those who don’t really have a fear of God. They haven’t learned yet to what degree and depth they can actually trust him. And there’s still a fear and holding back. Well, what if he doesn’t meet my need this month? What if he doesn’t pay my rent this month? That’s what worry is about getting your bills paid is what if God doesn’t come through this month? Well, that means there hasn’t been enough depth of trust developed in that blood covenant. Because when you know there’s a blood covenant, there’s no way God can fail. No way he can fail. He’s got the provision. And there’s no way he can ever fail you. And I’ll bring this up because this is an added revelation. Of course, we all know God is faithful. We’ve said it. I love the song, Great is Your Faithfulness. But to me, that again… went to a greater depth of understanding in my heart in about 2009. And I’d been on the mission field then since 2001 for eight years. And, you know, like I said, I left home on a one-way ticket and knowing that I needed faith to get to the next place and the next place and the next place and to get home and go out again. And I was looking back in 2009, and over that time, there were some times that it got really tight, and it got really close, and there was pressure. But God came through. God came through. And actually, one of those times, I remember, and I don’t remember the year, but it was in the earlier years, maybe 2004 or 2005, I had come home from the mission field at the end of the year and preparing for the next year mission. And when I was home, the Lord had said, get some equipment. And so we were buying equipment, but we put it on credit card, but expecting God to pay it off because I like to operate debt free. And so, okay, God, this is paid off in Jesus name, you know? And I remember I was starting to feel financial pressure and burden. And I I remember one night it was late at night after the rest of the family had gone to bed and it was dark and I got up and I went into the kitchen and I took out the juice and the bread for communion and I opened my Bible. And at that time, because it was so weighing on me and God, we need this, the finance right now. And it was weighing on me and I just held up the bread and And the Jews to the Lord. And I said, God, you said, and then I, you know, shared, you said this and you said this, and this is your word and your promise. And I’ve obeyed you like Abraham went out and obeyed you. And I just, you know, tears running down my face, but I was able to hold the bread. And it’s not like I’m not shaking my fist at God. What I’m doing is I’m reminding him, as he said, put me in remembrance and And I said, Lord, I know, and I know you know I know what this blood covenant means. And I know that you keep your oath and your promises. And I’m holding it in the blood of Jesus and in the body of Jesus that you are supplying this need. And I took the communion that night and went to bed. And we had a miracle financial breakthrough. And I think it was three days because of standing on that blood covenant. And so from 96, when the Lord said, meditate on the blood covenant for 30 days and take communion. As you do it, that became a rock foundation for my relationship with God. And everything I did, I did it because I’m in covenant with God. And God said, it’s like God is my marriage partner and he’s going to come through for me. And so that became the rock foundation of my life and then gave me the power and ability to go out there to the mission field and go into the unknown, sometimes without much money, but a few dollars in the pocket. What you just heard was part one of another message that I preached in one of our victorious faith services called Our Blood Covenant with God. This message is very important and foundational for every Christian to understand, believe and implement in their life. This message was life impacting for me. And so I encourage you to join me again tomorrow and the rest of this week as we continue to study Our Blood Covenant with God. And remember, God loves you. You’re blessed and highly favored by the Lord.
