Good morning. Praise the Lord. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Welcome to Victorious Faith. I’m Cherri Campbell. This morning, I’m going to begin sharing with you another message that I preached in one of our Victorious Faith services called Our Voice Activated Universe. So join me now in our live service for the beginning of this message, Our Voice Activated Universe. We ask you to show us things that we’ve not seen before. Help us to see what we’ve not seen and understand what we’ve not understood. Father, I pray for the ministry of the Spirit to reveal to our hearts and our minds and our understanding things we’ve never understood and things we’ve understood in part. Help us to understand them more fully and get greater revelation of the importance of your word. And we thank you, Father, tonight for it. We thank you for speaking it directly to our hearts. Lord, your word penetrates our hearts. We open up our hearts to hear. We have tender hearts. We have believing hearts. We have receiving hearts. We have open ears and we have open eyes. And you’ve said, Lord, in your word, blessed are your eyes for they see. Blessed are your ears for they hear. Lord, we thank you that you have helped us, given us hearing ears and seeing eyes to see what others don’t see, to hear what others don’t hear, to understand what others don’t understand, that we may live in a level of life and victory that is above the norm of this world, but that is supernatural. And we thank you for it. We give you praise and glory and honor for your word. And we are not only hearers of your word, but we are also doers of your word. We put it in practice every day in Jesus name. Amen. Amen. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. Tonight’s message is Our Voice Activated Universe. Our Voice Activated Universe. And this is about the power of our words. But, you know, when I started learning about this 30 years ago, I think. And back then, you know, a lot of the technology we have to, well, most of the technology we’re using right now wasn’t around. It didn’t exist. And so, you know, people talked about the power of words. And as I’ve studied and taught on the creative power of words, people sometimes had a hard time grasping the concept and there was nothing to relate it to. And to some people, it was just like, oh, so you mean you can say hocus pocus and then everything will happen. No, it’s not hocus pocus. It’s not magic. It is a spiritual law. But now in technology, we have something to relate to that I think really gets the point over. And it’s called voice activated and voice controlled devices. Okay. And they are operated by what is called speech recognition technology. Now, you know, in the computers, you can talk to your computer and it’ll type out. We have software that will type what you say. Well, even on the way over here, Laura’s using her cell phone and she talks into it a text message and it types her text message. That’s just one example that you can speak to it and it prints out the words. It’s voice activated. It’s speech recognition software. And so there’s a lot of things now that are voice activated and it’s also called voice controlled and speech recognition. These are words that are used today to talk about these things. And these are… Things that are controlled by and respond to your voice, to your spoken words. Well, I wanted to give you these examples. I looked it up on the internet and I just started looking up voice activated devices. And of course, there is, like I said, the cell phone, especially if you have an Apple phone and it has Siri on it, that you talk to it and ask it a question and Siri will answer you. And then there’s also now smart TVs that respond to your voice. And I read where pretty soon, not long in the future, remote controls won’t, you know, the handheld remote control won’t be used anymore, but everything will be voice controlled. You’ll talk to everything. And so if you have five remote controls and you forget which one goes to which, Maybe that’ll solve the problem and everything will respond to your voice. And so you say turn on and all your devices come on at the same time. I don’t know. They’ll have to somehow say TV on, you know, and not stereo on or else everything comes on all at once. So anyway, I guess they have to figure that out. Maybe, maybe they already have. And then there are the stereo audio systems that are already voice activated and controlled. There’s a smartwatch they have now that is voice controlled and there is the GPS. You talk to your GPS. Now I used to know when the GPS talked to you and said, turn left, but now you can talk to your GPS and say, I want to go to 120th street and grant. And then you’d, it will give you the directions. So your GPS is voice activated. Now, these are some things that I found that some people don’t know. They now have light bulbs that are voice activated. So isn’t that a relief? You don’t have to turn on a switch. That was so hard. I got so tired of flipping switches. That now you can talk to your light bulb and it’ll come on and tell it to turn on and tell it to turn off. And also the same with locks. I guess door locks, you can tell it to lock. There are thermostats that are voice activated. I guess you can tell it to set at a certain temperature. And there are alarm clocks that are voice activated. So I guess you can talk to it and say, what time is it? And it will tell you the time. And you can say, wake me up at 7. And then you can say, shut up. And it will maybe shut up too. This one was really funny. A voice activated vacuum cleaner. You can speak to the vacuum cleaner and tell it to vacuum your floor. I guess you have to probably pull it out of the closet first, but once it’s out, just tell it to vacuum and it’ll vacuum. Isn’t that handy? And then the brand LG has made some smart appliances that are voice activated. Now, I don’t know how well they work. But they have what was listed was voice activated washing machine, voice activated oven. I guess you can tell it to turn on to 350 and bake for 35 minutes or something like that. Voice activated oven and a voice activated refrigerator. I don’t know if those are really working well, but that is what they advertise. So anyway, we see that things are now getting voice activated in a lot of areas of our lives. And I am glad for that example because now people can relate to the understanding of the power of the spoken voice. And that the spoken voice really does have power. And it’s not just a magical idea. People would think, oh yeah, right. Bah humbug. You know, I don’t believe that stuff. Well, now you can see it literally just with technology, but think of it spiritually because actually our universe is not only voice activated, it’s voice created, right? our universe was voice created. And just as the voice created the universe, the voice is still controlling the universe. to this day. And we need to understand this. I’ll tell you, there are a few revelations in my life that I feel have really helped my spiritual growth. One of them was the blood covenant. And that made a world of difference for me going to the mission field as a single woman traveling alone. And I totally relied on the blood covenant and taking communion and saying, Lord, I’m in covenant with you. And so I have the teaching about the blood covenant, but another one that has really, as I grow in the Lord and grow in understanding the word, I am growing in understanding the power of words and that I have to be so much more aware of it and then use it, use it. to do the things that I need done and get the victory in my life. Because last month I taught about ruling in your seat of authority. And it was really kind of a lesson on prayer, but it started with sitting in your seat of authority and ruling according to Ephesians 2.6. He has raised us up and seated us together with him in heavenly places. And that we need to be ruling every day. That’s where our life needs to be. But we need to remember that. Because we are not as this is the wrong idea that a lot of Christians have. Oh, we’re just worms. Where is the worm? Where is the worm? The worm is in the lowest place looking up. I’m just nothing. And God said, no, you’re not worms. You’re seated with me in heavenly places looking down. We need to take our seat with him. So you can go to the YouTube channel and see that praying in your seat of authority. But learning to live every day, we have to be aware of that. And when I taught the teaching on the law of spiritual authority on the radio, that was the longest series up until this one that I did. And it was six months long. But it’s because I am convinced that the law of spiritual authority is the least known and the least understood. of all the spiritual laws. I mean, people know more about love. People know more about faith. People even know more about words than they really understand about authority to rule. And not only is it the least understood, but then it’s even less practiced and it’s even less practiced consistently on a daily basis. So those who do know it are practicing it some, but few are practicing it daily. And that needs to be just ingrained in us. Use your spiritual authority daily. And as I read that quote to you out of that book, the more we understand our spiritual authority, the less we will be uttering petitions and prayers to God. And the more we will be using our authority to rule because we actually have authority over our situations, right? And we don’t need to ask God, please help, please help, please help. But we can take our authority and command it to do and be what the word says. We speak the word to our situation. We speak the word to our body. You have more authority over your body than anybody else does. Yeah. as much as they should. And when a sickness comes in, they’re not ruling over their body and saying, body, you are my body. I put you under my authority and I don’t allow sickness in my body. I don’t allow this in my body. God gave us that authority and he gave us the power to do it And so we need to be practicing this daily. And so some people know their authority. Fewer are practicing it and fewer are practicing that daily in every situation of life. And this is where we really need to practice because this is where we’re going to see the results. This is where we’re going to see the results. But how do you exercise your authority? With words. with faith. And so it comes back to the power of your words and that you have authority in your words to command and speak to a situation in your life and command it to be what you want it to be.
