Now join me in our live service for part four of Living in Perfect Peace. And also, his ways will never change. And here, I’ve listed, as I’ve taught in the Kingdom of God series, seven primary spiritual laws of the kingdom. Yes, there are others, but I believe the others can all be attached and come under one of these seven primary. The law of love. The law of faith. The law of the creative power of words. The law of spiritual authority to rule on earth over yourself and the elements around you. What concerns you? You may not alone have authority to rule over other people and other circumstances, but you have authority over you, your circumstances, and what affects you. and the law of sowing and reaping the law of wisdom which is being led by the spirit holy spirit because the holy spirit is the spirit of wisdom and the law of obedience and i have a teaching series on all of these spiritual laws and the kingdom of god on my youtube channel go look it up the kingdom of god and then look up these spiritual laws And so this is what’s going to happen, not just in 2024, but every day until Jesus comes and sets up his kingdom. And so in the midst of it, though, in the midst of this, we can still live in perfect peace. We can live in perfect peace. Praise the Lord. So the definition of peace is, The English definition is calm, quiet, untroubled, undisturbed by noise, worries or fears, and tranquil. Don’t you want to live calm and quiet and untroubled? You know, I have really pursued that and I have touched it to a degree. By, for one thing, not listening to the news. You can keep a lot of your peace just by not listening to the news. And then the next definition of the word peace in the Hebrew, the Hebrew word is shalom. And it means wholeness, nothing missing and nothing broken. Health, prosperity. Yes, health and prosperity are included in the definition of shalom. They’re also included in the definition of salvation. Just look it up in the Hebrew and the Greek. It’s there. People who criticize what they call that health and wealth gospel, they’re criticizing shalom. They’re criticizing salvation. Because it’s part of the very definition of those words. And then in the Hebrew, shalom, health, prosperity. Let me back up. Wholeness. That is a good summary word. Because it’s wholeness in every area of your life. Nothing missing and nothing broken. Health, prosperity, peace, quietness, contentment, and tranquility. In all nine areas of our lives. And I have listed nine areas, spiritually, mentally, physically, financially, family, all your relationships, protection from danger, your work, and your future. And so in all the areas of your lives, having wholeness, nothing missing, nothing broken, all of these areas are whole, right? Praise God. Peace comes from God. Where do you get peace? From God. Isaiah 53, 5. But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. So this is in our redemption. It’s part of the price that Jesus paid on the cross. When he was beaten, scourged, flogged, nails pierced through his hands and feet, spear pierced in his side. The punishment that brought us shalom was upon him. So because of his suffering, we can receive shalom. He paid the price. Isaiah 54.10 says, Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love, that’s hesed, That is covenant loyalty, covenant faithful love and kindness. Covenant faithful love, loyal love. That’s chesed. For you will not be shaken. Even if the earth, the mountains be shaken, the hills removed. My covenant, faithful, loyal love will never be shaken for you. Nor my covenant of shalom. be removed. My covenant of peace will not be removed, says the Lord who has compassion on you. So if you see the mountains shaking, if you see the hills removed, don’t worry. God’s covenant love will not be shaken and his covenant of shalom, wholeness, nothing missing, nothing broken, health and prosperity, peace and quietness will not be removed from you. You can have peace even when the mountains are shaken and the hills are removed. Hallelujah. Glory to God. Amen. Praise the Lord. And John 14, 27. Peace comes from Jesus. Peace I leave with you. My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your heart be troubled. And do not be afraid. These are commands. He said, I’m giving you my peace, but I can’t help being troubled. Yes, you can if you take my peace. Why did he say don’t be troubled and do not be afraid? Because he gave his peace. His peace can keep you from being troubled and afraid. And by being troubled and afraid, you’re not obeying. You’re disobeying and you’re not receiving his peace. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give you. Don’t let, everybody say, don’t let your heart be troubled. Say, I won’t let my heart be troubled and I will not be afraid. God help me. You have to do it by faith. You have to choose. You have to look at that fear and say, no, I will not be afraid. I trust God. God, help. I look to you. You are my helper, my savior, my deliverer, my healer, my victory. I look to you now. I receive your help. Now I’m not afraid. I will not. Be afraid. So Jesus said, my peace I give you. And he’s qualified to give you his peace because Isaiah 9, 6. For to us a child is born, to us a son is given. And the government will be on his shoulders and he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and the Prince of Peace. Prince also means chief, leader, and ruler. chief leader and ruler he is the prince of peace he is the chief of peace he is the leader of peace the ruler of peace that is why he is qualified to give you his peace i give you my peace because i am the prince of peace Praise the Lord. Peace is one of our covenant provisions. It’s in our redemption paid for by the punishment that was on Jesus that he bore on the cross. It was given to us in covenant by God. He died to give us his peace and Jesus ever lives to give us his peace. Hallelujah. Glory to God. And then also peace comes from abiding in God’s presence. Psalm 91 says, Verses 1 and 2. He who dwells in the shelter or the secret place of the Most High shall rest or abide in or under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord. Notice. You have another part to play. Most Christians think they don’t have anything to do. It’s all up to God. Whatever happens is up to God. God’s will be done. No. He gave you a part. And if you don’t do your part, you’re not going to receive what he promised. Your part here, he said, is I will say. Do you say this? That’s what I was saying. Who do you say he is? If you only call him savior, that gives you new birth. So you go to heaven when you die. That’s all that. A lot of Christians claim him as they only claim him as savior of With only the knowledge of the new birth, not recognizing that even healing and prosperity and deliverance come in salvation, they only receive new birth. That’s all they receive. They live and die receiving nothing more. That’s the majority. 99.9% of Christians are only receiving new birth. Most do not receive him and claim him as Jehovah Rapha, Jehovah Jireh, their healer, provider, their fortress, defender, shield, keeper, deliverer, their salvation, meaning the whole salvation, which includes healing, prosperity, and deliverance. Their victory, their shepherd, their wisdom, their helper, their peace, their joy. They’re not claiming him. They’re not calling on him. They’re not saying, you are mine. Remember Romans 10, 9 and 10. If you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. But you also got to believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that he is your healer. You also have to believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that he’s your provider. You have to claim him. He is my Jehovah Rophe. He is my Jehovah Jireh. He is my Jehovah Shalom, my peace. You have to confess and claim him as your deliverer, your fortress, your preserver, your protector. If you don’t, you have not received because receiving is active. The Greek verb in the New Testament to receive is actually the active verb to take, to lay hold, to procure, to seize and take to oneself. that’s what it says if you believe you receive you shall have it that word receive actually means to take procure seize take to yourself to grasp it you’ve got to take hold of it in your heart how do you do it in your heart What you just heard was part four of a message that I preached in one of our victorious faith services called Living in Perfect Peace.
