In this inspiring episode of Victorious Faith, Cherri Campbell concludes her powerful sermon titled ‘Tap the Power.’ She explores the profound concept of accessing divine healing through faith, demonstrating how one woman’s faith drew power from Jesus, despite being in a crowd. This episode aims to dismantle the complexities often surrounding the idea of healing and encourages listeners to embrace the simplicity of childlike faith.
SPEAKER 01 :
Good morning. Welcome to Victorious Faith. I’m Cherri Campbell. This morning, I’m going to continue and conclude sharing with you the message that I preached in one of our Victorious Faith healing services called Tap the Power. So join me now in our live service for the conclusion of this message, Tap the Power. At once, Jesus realized that power had gone out from him. What went out? Power. How did the power go out? It was tapped by faith. Power had gone out from him. It was healing power. He turned around in the crowd and asked, who touched my clothes? Verse 31. You see the people crowding against you, his disciples answered. And yet you can ask, who touched me? What does that mean? There were others that were touching him. Rubbing up against him. Jostling up against him. A crowd pressing against him. Let me in there. And people all the way falling over. And some are touching him out of curiosity. I’ve had people do that in the mission field. White skin. And they rub it. No, or touch. What is, you know, they’re curious. So there’s some people out there probably touching with curiosity. Is he real? You know, there’s a touch there of curiosity. There’s a touch of accident. Whoops, bumping and jostling one another. And let me up there. You know, and yet were any of those people healed? Yeah. Because none of those were touches of faith. So we see again, the power was present to heal. But there’s only one person mentioned that got healed. All the other people could have done the same. I’ll be healed if I touch him. I’ll be healed if I touch him. I’ll be healed. And the power would have been there for everyone that said that. But she was the only one. She was the only one that said, I’ll be healed if I touch him. And she tapped the power and power went out. Power was present to heal. So we see power can be present. I’ve given you two examples. Power can be present, but it doesn’t mean everybody is going to walk out healed. They have to tap it. They have to tap into it. Hallelujah. But it’s simple to do. It’s not hard. As a matter of fact, I’ve talked with people who try to theologize. Is that a word? About healing. I made up a word. I do that. Whatever. They try to get… Technical about healing. They try to get all these theological arguments about healing. And then they’re just making it complicated. But I wanted to remind you something. The Holy Spirit said to me one time when I was talking to somebody like that. And Jesus said, unless you enter the kingdom of God like a little child. You’ll never enter. Unless you receive the kingdom as a child. You’ll never enter. That’s why the Pharisees couldn’t get it. That’s why the teachers of the law couldn’t get it. Because they’re trying to rationalize. What did I say? Theologize. That’s a good word. We’ll have to put that in the dictionary. No, they’re trying to make up all this theological argument about it. Who is it for? When can you have it? Does it have to be day or night? Does it have to be Sunday or Monday? And make all these arguments about it. And Jesus says, you’re never going to end. You’re never going to receive it unless you receive it as a child. How does the child that you say, I’ve got some candy here in my pocket. What’s a child going to do? Going to go right up there and take it right out of your pocket. I’ve got some candy here for anybody who wants some. And the child is going to just go right up there and take it. They’re not going to think I’m too old. I’m too young. I don’t know this. It’s not the right day. Whatever. They’re not going to make any argument. They’re just going to take it. And Jesus said, unless you enter the kingdom of God as a child, you don’t have to argue and figure out all the reasons. or how it’s going to work. Now it’s going to work like this is, this is going to happen. This is going to happen. Hey, don’t try to figure it out. God does it different every time anyway. So you don’t have to figure it out. Don’t try to get so spiritual and get all be like a child and say, I don’t know how it happens. I’m just taking some. Amen. It’s the children who know how to tap. Jesus said, unless you enter like a child, you’ll never enter. Unless you receive healing like a child, you won’t be able to receive it. So tonight I want to encourage you. Come tonight like a child and say, I just received my healing. I’m tapping in the power. And I’m going to touch his cloak tonight, that power tonight, and I’m going to receive it in my body. Amen. Amen. Hallelujah. And I just want to give you a couple more scriptures real quickly here before we close. And I want to show you God does not show favoritism. Go back to Matthew 4, 23. Matthew 4 and verse 23 and 24. Again, we already looked at this. Matthew 4, 23. Jesus went throughout Galilee teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom and healing one or two people. Is that right? How many did he heal? Really? All. Amen. Every. Some translation says everyone. Some say all. He healed every disease, all sickness among the people. And news about him spread all over Syria. And people brought to him all who were ill with various diseases. Those suffering severe pain, the demon-possessed, those having seizures and the paralyzed, and he healed them. You can say he healed them all. Then look at Matthew 9 again. We looked at this earlier, but let me show it with this part. Matthew 9 and verses 35 and 36. Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing one or two people. healing all every disease and sickness. All right. Then go to chapter 12, Matthew 12, 15, Matthew 12, 15. Aware of this, Jesus withdrew from that place. Many followed him and he healed a few. How many? All they’re sick. All the sick. Chapter 14, verse 14. We read this earlier. Matthew 14, 14, when Jesus landed and saw a large crowd and he had compassion on them and healed their sick, their sick would be inclusive of all. And then chapter 14, again, verses 35 and 36, when the men of that place recognized Jesus, they sent word to all the people surrounding country. People brought all their sick to him. They brought all the sick and begged him to let the sick touch the edge of his cloak and. All who touched him were healed. All who tapped the power were healed. How many? All. All who touched, all who tapped the power were healed. Jesus was never exclusive because the kingdom of God is not exclusive for one. And also I want to point out healing is an act of mercy. Healing is an act of mercy. Let me show you one more scripture. Matthew 15, 30. Great crowds came to him. Now, I’ve brought this out before in some meetings, but when we think of a great crowd, we might think of 5,000 people, 10,000 people. But records would show, and a lot of Bible scholars said there were tens of thousands of people. For example, when he fed the 5,000, that was 5,000 men, not counting women and children. Well, in a lot of church services, you’ll usually see more women than men. A lot of times twice as many women. So if you even conservatively say there were twice as many women as men, then there were 10,000 women. And then what if they each brought a child? There’s at least 5,000 children. It is easy to estimate at that feeding there were at least probably 20,000 people. There could have been 20,000 people there. And upward. And these great crowds were estimated to be tens of thousands, not just thousands, but tens of thousands. Now, if we have a crowd of, let’s say, 20,000 people, is everybody in the crowd righteous and upright and God-fearing? Everybody in 20,000 people? No, not at all. In a crowd of 20,000 people, you’ll have people of all walks of life, all kinds of people. You’ll have adulterers, murderers, maybe thieves and liars and cheats and con men. Some of what you might, we wouldn’t ever call anybody this, but what some would call the scum of the earth, the lowest down dirtiest type of people there, as well as those who are clean and upright and God fearing and serving God with all their heart. But you had the bad there and some very, very, very bad would be in the crowd, right? Now, who did he heal? Just the good ones. Who did he heal? He healed all, including the sinner, including the adulterer, including the thief, including the con artist. They all got healed. Because healing is an act of mercy. God does not discriminate when he heals. He never has. And I could go through, we can go through all four gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. You will never see where Jesus ever said to somebody, no, I’m not healing you. You are not worthy. Or he said, no, not today. Your day is in six months from now. As some religious people think today is not your day. I like what we’ve heard. This is your day. Every day is your day. Every day is your day because God doesn’t discriminate. Anybody and everybody who came to him, who tapped the power, got healed. Everyone, every time. Nobody ever went home without receiving or it would have been written. And in every one of these, you’ll see he healed them all. All of them were healed. He healed every disease. Every, every, all, all, all. All through his ministry. Every time. So I want you to see that when people came to be healed, he never turned one away. Never. Everybody would go out that door or go home that night with their healing. Hallelujah. Glory to God. Amen.
