Today’s message is especially relevant as Dr. Luauna will be sharing God’s warning for those whose hearts have grown distant, as well as a caution to anyone who has altered the message of the gospel. Jesus assures us that he will give us the strength to endure until the very end. God’s plan for his church is truly amazing. So don’t lose hope or surrender to the pressures of this world. Stand firm in the truth and don’t accept a lie in its place. Cling to the promises found in God’s incredible word. And now, here’s our host, Dr. bruauna Stints.

You know, the church is a powerful, powerful tool in God’s hands. And the church is so very powerful. I read a quote by Charles Spurgeon, and it quotes this. A time will come instead of shepherds feeding the sheep, the church will have clowns entertaining the goats. I thought, whoa, that’s heavy duty. William Booth, who started… William Booth, who started… Salvation Army, he said, the chief things in the 20th century will be religion without the spirit, Christianity without Christ, forgiveness without repentance, salvation without regeneration, politics without God, and heaven without hell. Charles Spurgeon and both William Booth saw what was coming. You know, when a watered-down gospel, he said, when a watered-down gospel then would produce counterfeit Christianity. Whoa. Whoa. Well, go, if you will please, to 2 Thessalonians. Go open your Bible to 2 Thessalonians. The Thessalonian church was a new pioneer church, and Paul was bringing warning, warning to all of the churches. When you read the Bible and you understand that there is, Paul is reading and he is writing these letters warning. to the churches, the pioneer churches. And the reason he’s writing, we don’t mind babies. We promise they have fun. I have 13 grandbabies. It’s fine. Honest. They can run around. They can do whatever. The only thing, they can’t go back in that area. But they can run all around, Mama. We’re not worried about that. We’re going to prepare, Lord be willing, an area for nursery over here. We’re also a kitchen area where moms can go have coffee with their babies and hear the sermon. We’ll have all the speakers connected up and everything. So… Hang in there. Amen. We’re going somewhere. Well, Paul writes in Thessalonians, and he writes a very important word to the church. And he’s writing because there was so much confusion and there was so much chaos. He writes this powerful word. Let’s go in there, if we will, in 2 Thessalonians 2. Oops, I just went to first. Go over to second. Here we are. He writes here, Now, brother, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to him, we ask you not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if some of us, as if… As if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. You see, there was already a group that was going around saying, you know what? Jesus has already come. Just forget about it. Don’t worry about it. Let no one deceive you by any means for that day will not come unless the falling away comes first and the man of sin is revealed. the son of perdition. Let me stop there. I want you to notice here, the falling away comes first. The thing that I noticed when I was back in Colorado, I had contacted several of my old friends, because I’ve been in ministry for so long, but I got saved in a church in Colorado Springs. And in Colorado Springs, in that church, I had made many friends and had ministered several, but to discover that many people had fallen away. Many people say, oh, yeah, well, I love God, but I don’t go to church anymore. Well, I love God, but, you know, yes, I have a relationship with God. Can I get a beer, please? You know, blankety blank blank and drop this F-bomb and that F-bomb and this, that. And I’m thinking, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. What is going on? Well, if you read the word, don’t be surprised. Let no one deceive you by any means for that day will not come unless the falling away comes first. Falling away from what? Falling away from what you know what is right. Amen? Falling away from that first love comes first and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called of God or that is worshiped so that he sits as God in the temple of God showing himself that he is God. you not remember that when I was still with you that I told you these things? You see, Paul is trying to remind them, what are you shook up for? Did I not tell you? You see, one thing about Christianity, you have to remember something. You cannot get shook up too easy because there will be offenses. There will be people that will do things that shock you. People will be cruel, I’m sorry, but even saints that ain’t. Amen? Do you remember that when I was still with you, I told you these things? And now you know what is restraining. I love this. What is restraining the Antichrist? That he may be revealed in his own time. God tell you who is restraining him. You and I, the bride, the church. Until the church is raptured, taken up, and what does it say? The dead in Christ shall rise and we that will remain will be caught up together to meet the Lord in the air. And we will forever be with the Lord. Why is the Lord going to take the church off the earth? before the great tribulation, because the great tribulation is the wrath of God. I don’t know about you, but the Bible says the wrath of God abides on the children of disobedience. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to be one of the children with the wrath of God on me. Somebody say amen. He says here, for the mystery of the lawless is already at work. We’re already seeing the Antichrist at work. You’re already seeing the Antichrist, not the Antichrist, the one, but the Antichrist spirits. No God, no cross, no Bible, no prayer. Get that God out of, excuse me, you’re a what? A Christian? You know my Jesus truck over there that says Our Hope Jesus Christ? That truck gets a lot of attention when I’m driving down the road. Our Hope Jesus Christ, every once in a while somebody flips me off and I’m thinking, did I cut him off? What did I do? So I go, I’m sorry, did I cut you? I forget. It says Our Hope Jesus Christ on the truck. So when they look at that, then they look at me, then they give the scowl, then they give me their IQ. And they scream and holler. Some people get really mad. Some people get upset. Some people go, beep, beep, honk the horn and put the thumb up. Some people go, ah. Some people go, thank you, Jesus. Oh, my goodness. What is it that offends so many people about that name? That name is the name that is above all others. That name is our hope. That name, Jesus, Miss Lee, is for your healing. Cancer, be gone in Jesus’ name. Amen? That hope in the cross of Calvary is healing and restoration, Mark, for your marriage. That hope, that cross is resurrection power. The power that raised Jesus from the dead dwells within us. Do you understand? Greater is the God who dwells within us than he that’s in the world dwells. and we are more than conquerors through him who strengthens us. We’re not strong on our own. If we try to do it on our own, we’re foolish. Why? Because we are mere man, but God within us, Christ Jesus. Jesus died, that his Holy Spirit would come and dwell among us. He said, I didn’t leave you alone. I didn’t leave you as an orphan. He said, you know what? I’m going to send you a helper, and he’s going to be with you, and he’s going to abide with you, and he’s going to help you. He’s going to teach you. He’s going to give you more knowledge. After I’m gone of this word, it’s going to come alive. It’s going to jump out of those pages. Whoo! like a tsunami into our hearts, and all of a sudden, our minds are transformed. I beseech you, therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that, you know what, you present your bodies as a holy and a living sacrifice unto God, which is your reasonable service, and be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may know what is God’s good, perfect, and his acceptable will. You see, God has a plan for us that is far bigger than our own natural will. understanding. Somebody say amen. That’s what Paul was trying to tell them. He said, you know what? And when the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of his mouth and destroy with the brightness of his coming. Do you understand the power of our God? Do you understand just as at his coming, the brightness of his coming? What will happen? The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan with all power, signs, and lying wonders. Why do you think there’s so much false religion? Why do you think there’s so much false religion? We have it all around us. False Christianity. I’m sorry, but I haven’t saved a long time. You have Buddhism, Taoism. Sorry, even Catholicism is idolatry. I know people are going to get mad when they hear that. Don’t get mad at me, but get rid of those idols. You know, you have all kinds of false doctrines. You have Mormonism, who worships Joseph Smith. You have… Jehovah Witness, which is bad doctrine. They don’t believe there’s a hell. There’s no judgment. So you can do whatever you want. And it’s so sad when you try to go to a kingdom church because when they pass out communion, they say, are you part of the 144,000? And if you’re not, you have to pass the communion to the next one. Then you have to pass. But they forgot to read the whole scripture. 144,000 virgin Jews God will raise up after the rapture. to preach and witness during the tribulation. You see, God’s word is so powerful, so awesome, and so amazing. But his church, let me read on here. He said, the coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteousness, deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth. They did not receive the love of the truth that they might be saved. And for this reason, God will send them strong delusion that they should believe a lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. Somebody tell your neighbor, don’t have pleasure in unrighteousness. Don’t have pleasure in unrighteousness. Don’t have pleasure in unrighteousness. You know, another place where it talks about strong delusion is in Romans chapter 1. Paul speaks to the church here because why? You have to remember, they were under the Roman rule, but there was so much corruption going on. I mean, there’s nothing new under the sun. We look around today and we say, oh my gosh, look at what’s happening. You know, I hate to tell you this, but you know what? The church is powerful. We have more power in our little finger in Jesus than the world does. When we understand the power of this cross, the resurrected living God, do you understand the Bible says that when he was on that cross, that he looked down and he saw them, and I’m thinking about the thief on one side that says, remember me. And the other thief is mocking, saying, why don’t you save yourself? Why don’t you get down off of that cross? And at the same time, Jesus is on that cross looking at his mother, saying, you know, here’s your son’s son. Here’s your mother. He’s taking care of his mother right there. He’s working through everything. He’s telling the guy here today, you will be with me in paradise. He doesn’t tell this one here. And all of a sudden, he looks down and he says, it is finished. It is done. Do you realize that? that when he said it is finished and he died, the Bible says that darkness came upon the face of the earth, if you read it, and the Bible says the earth trembled and shook. You know why? Because Jesus conquered death, hell, and the grave, and the power that dwells within Jesus dwells within you and I. The true church has power and authority and dominion to stand on the Word of God. The Word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any double-edged sword. And no wonder people get upset at that name Jesus. Why? It’s the devil in them that gets them upset. It’s not them. You’ve got to look beyond, get past all those little demons that are there and say, yes, but Jesus loves you and has a plan for your life. And what are you doing out of the church? Get back in the church. Well, I’m a Christian. I love God, but I don’t believe in organized religion. I don’t care who you are. And I’m not saying that to be mean. What I mean by that is this. If you have a relationship with the people that are around you the way that you do with Jesus, you see the world out there and those that are backslidden, they always say this, I have a relationship with Jesus, don’t judge me. I say, oh good, do you go to church? Oh no, I don’t go to church. I don’t have to go to church. Now let’s bring it down to a marriage. You’re married, you have a wife, you have a husband. Jesus said that we are the bride, the church is the bride. How would you like for your bride not to come home at night? How would you like your bride to decide, I’m not coming home tonight? How would you like your bride to run around from place to place, from place to place? You know what, I would say, gosh darn it, she’s like a tramp. You know what, because the bride, we are the bride. When you’re married, your bride comes home, your husband comes home. Isn’t that right, Marshall? Isn’t that right, Judy? And if he doesn’t come home, what are you going to do? I’m going to kill him and tell God he died. Amen. Because you know what? When you’re married, you’re committed. You know that he’s going to go to work. She’s going to go to work. But you know that at that certain time, they’re going to come home. And guess what? You’re either going to make dinner or you’re going to go out to eat and you’re going to sit down. You’re going to yak, talk, scream or holler, whatever. But you know that you’re going to be in the same roof and you’re going to be together. Amen. But see, that’s what it is in the body of Christ. We are the bride. The bride dwells together. We’re powerful together. But you know what? The Bible says there’ll be a great falling away. And you and I have to understand, you know what? We’re here through the good, the bad, and the ugly. Because the church is powerful through the good, the bad, and the ugly. The true church. Now, if you have religion, it’s this way. How you doing, brother? Oh, I’m fine. How you doing, sister? Oh, good. How you doing? Oh, fine. Bless the Lord. Hallelujah. Bless God. Hallelujah. See you later. Bye. Oh, that was ridiculous. You know, did you see what she was wearing? Did you see what he looked like? No. That’s religion. We have enough religion in America to gag a maggot. We don’t need religion. We need a true relationship with Jesus where you love the unlovable. Where you get through the good, the bad, and the ugly. Where you walk through with somebody when they’re having a struggle. When you’re going through a hard time. You know, you know what? Let’s jump in there. Let’s do this. Let’s make it work. Come on. We can do this together. You see, the bride is powerful. The bride has power when it comes into unity. You know, Charles Spurgeon preached way back in 1800s. I can’t believe he said a time will come instead of shepherds feeding the sheep, the church will have clowns teaching the goats. I thought, boy, that’s heavy duty. William Booth, who started the Salvation Army, would turn over in his grave today if he saw the people ringing the bell today. Why? Because William Booth, when he started the Salvation Army, I know I preached for Salvation Army over 40 years ago. They wore a uniform. They wore their uniforms and they rang the bell. They had a purpose and a vision and a destiny. And now they get paid just to ring the bell so they can raise money. And whoever took in charge after William Booth died and little by little by little by little by little, The quality of what it was that it started in the beginning had just faded away. And now it’s smoke a cigarette, ring the bell, and put your dollar in there. Thanks for putting it in there. Thanks for putting it in there. Yeah. You know? I wonder when you read through the book of Acts and you see the church, the early church that was willing to give it all for the purpose of the kingdom. The early church, Stephen preached his gospel and was stoned to death on that first sermon. John the Baptist preaches and he’s beheaded in prison. Paul was killed. You go through the Word of God and you read and you see how many of them were persecuted and killed and beheaded. The prophets of old, why were they beheaded? Why? Because they exchanged the truth of God for a lie. Romans chapter 1 talks about debased again, delusion, debased mind. In Romans chapter 1, it says here, for the wrath of God, I’m reading in Romans chapter 1, reading in verse 18, for the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all unrighteousness, all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress. Do you know the word suppress means to bury it? They hide it. I don’t want to hear that. Don’t tell me I can’t sleep with my boyfriend. Don’t tell me I can’t sleep with my girlfriend. Don’t tell me I have to get married. I’m not ready to get married, but we’re living together and having babies. Wrong answer. Who suppress the truth in unrighteousness. Because what they may be known of God is manifested in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world, all you’ve got to do is look around. Tell me you don’t see God’s glory everywhere you look. For since the creation of the world, His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse. You see, God put in every man to serve Him. There’s a link in every man’s heart. It’s like this chain right here. When I get around people that aren’t saved, I look at them and I think, man, there’s that link that is missing. You see, they take their life like this chain, and each one of these links here, baby, first grade, whatever, kindergarten, first grade, second grade, sixth grade, seventh grade, oh my gosh, I’m a teenager, oh, eighth grade, ninth grade, tenth grade, oh my goodness, I graduate, yes, they walk with their cap and down, now what do we do, oh, I might go to college, okay, they start college, they do this, then they get a job, then they try this, and they do all these things, but they forget the most important thing, The only thing that matters is they got the connection that makes their life complete. And that is Jesus. He’s the connection that puts their life together. So they live in this chain. It’ll get longer and longer and longer. Fame, success, and fortune. I need a mansion. I need a new house. I need another car. I need another wife. I need another this. I’m so miserable. Why? Because the only thing that fills the void in man’s heart, guess what, is Jesus. There’s no other fulfillment. I don’t care how many boyfriends. I don’t care how many girlfriends. I don’t care how much money you have. Howard Hughes had billions. Howard Hughes had billions. Billions. What could you do with billions if you were saved? What could you do with billions if you were… I mean, if you were so in love with Jesus and God… Blessed you with billions. What would you do in the kingdom of God? Oh, I’d build me a house. I’d build me a car. I’d get me a Mercedes Benz. I’d get me a Bentley. I’d get me a this and a Lamborghini. And I’d get me this and that. No, no, no. That’s the world’s mentality. You see, our life is but a vapor. It’s gone. It’s gone. Gone. My husband was killed one night. One blow. One blow to the head and he was dead. One blow. They thought he fainted. One blow. Our life is but a vapor. One moment we’re here, tomorrow we step into eternity. A blink of an eye, the last breath, I’ve been beside the bed of probably 200, 300 people in 47 years of ministry. I’ve been beside that bed when I see that last breath. You know they’re at their end. And then all of a sudden it’s that last breath. And you know right at that moment, they stepped into eternity forever. They’re either in heaven or they’re in hell. You see, when I think about Jesus, And I go anywhere, I think, are they saved? Are they a Christian? Are they born again? Are they going to go to heaven? Are they going to go to hell? I don’t think, oh, how great their car is, how nice the house, how junky their house. I don’t even care about that stuff. Why? Because I can’t take nothing with us. You can’t take it with you. You see, what you build for eternity, you see, you have to have an eternal bank account. You have to have souls. The only thing Jesus said, store up your treasures in heaven. Do you understand? He’s talking about the heavenly bank. There’s a bank account in heaven that has treasures for you and I. So when we step out of this old world, what are we taking? One soul at a time we can take with us. Who else can we take with us? We can’t take nothing with us. If you notice somebody that dies, it’s terrible. You know, Beverly’s mother died. How, what happened when your mom died? Bev, all, everybody came. I want this. I want that. I want this. I want that. Before she even took her last breath. Can I get my grandma’s robe? Can I get my grandma’s shoes? Can I get this? Can I get that? You know what? And if they died the day after who, where would they, where would that rope go? You see, we have one purpose in the kingdom. You know why Jesus came and died? I came to sake and deceive that which is lost. He didn’t die for us to play church. He came to save and to seek that which is lost. So every opportunity of radio, every opportunity to reach the lost, I’m going to jump at it. If God tells me to do movies, we’re going to do Christian movies. Why? Because every opportunity that God gives us, we have to take it. Amen? We have to take every opportunity to reach the lost. Why? Because the world is dying and going to hell. and their only purpose that they have is Jesus.
