SPEAKER 02 :
Good morning. Welcome to Victorious Faith. I am Cherri Campbell. This morning, I’m going to begin sharing with you a short teaching that I did called Joy and Peace, the Fruit of Righteousness. So join me now for this teaching. Joy and Peace, the Fruit of Righteousness. That’s what the kingdom of God is, is peace and joy. So I’ve been thinking about that, and my life now strives to stay in the place of peace and joy because the Bible says actually that the kingdom of God is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. Righteousness was a gift. Peace and joy are fruits, but they are fruits of the Spirit, but they’re also fruits of the gift of righteousness. Because righteousness brings reconciliation with God. That’s what righteousness is, right? Standing reconciliation with God. And the purpose of righteousness is to bring us into oneship with him, one with him again. And that, in turn, brings and produces the fruit of peace and joy. So the fruit of the spirit and the fruit of righteousness and the fruit of the kingdom is peace and joy. And we should be looking to walk in peace and joy every single day of our lives. And that is where we have to take control over what’s up here. It’s what’s up here that will steal your peace and joy. Worries, anxieties, griefs and sorrows. And everybody say, my mind is my mind. I will not allow the devil’s thoughts to stay in my mind. I cast them down and I replace them with God’s word. Well, do you know anybody who’s sorrowful is not doing that? Anybody who’s grieving is not doing that. Anybody who is depressed is not doing that. Anybody who is anxious is not doing it. Anybody who is fearful is not doing it. Fear, anxiety, worry, stress, cares of this world, they’re letting those thoughts go. Take root in the mind instead of pushing them out and pushing in. You know, you can only take out a thought by replacement. And it has to be replaced with the promises of God. The promises of God are the only thing that can replace negative thoughts, fear, anxiety. Doubt, the cares of this world, grief, sorrow, loneliness, all of that is Satan’s bombardment of the mind. And they will stay there and take root and build their nest in your mind unless you push them out. But it is only removed by displacement. It’s like if you have a glass of water and it’s full to the top, and you’re going to replace it with Coke, which is brown, which is why I mentioned that, or red Kool-Aid or whatever. And yet you’re not going to dump out the water. You’re going to displace it. So you have to keep pouring in the new drink, the Coke and pouring and pouring and pouring. And you’ll see that water, the clear water just begin to be pushed out until it’s gone. And then it’ll become a clear Coke in the glass as you keep pouring and pouring and pouring, pouring, pouring and pouring. And so it is that water is removed by displacement. That’s the only way to get rid of bad thoughts. You cannot stand there and say, I’m not going to think that. I’m not going to think that. I’m not going to think that. I’m not going to think that. It just doesn’t work. The only way to get fear, anxiousness, worry, troubled cares, grief, sorrows, depression, loneliness out is of your mind is by the principle of displacement. You push it out by putting in, in, in, in, in God’s promises. And what he said, you know, God’s going to meet all your needs. God’s going to deliver you from all your troubles, your cares. He’s your supply. He’s your healer. He’s your deliverer. He’s your savior. He’s your redeemer. If you’re missing a loved one, he is your peace and your joy and your comfort. He is everything that you need. And he turns your mourning into dancing. The Bible says he gives you joy for sorrow. The Bible says. And so you’ve got to push out grief and sorrow. And so you see, when you allow those thoughts, you are allowing the devil in your mind. And when you allow him in your mind, it manifests in your life. Whatever’s in your mind, it comes out your mouth. And whatever comes out your mouth manifests in your life around you. And so those things will be manifested more and more and more as you think on them because you’re talking about them. But that’s not what you want manifesting. So what you want manifesting in your life is the peace of God, the joy of the Lord, his provision. So that’s what you’ve got to displace the bad thoughts and displace them with God’s promises of provision, healing, protection, deliverance, safety, victory. comfort, peace, joy, all of those, fill your mind with those. They displace the others and you speak those and it will produce and bear fruit in your life of righteousness, peace, and joy. That’s why and how we can have heaven on earth. But it’s the only way. The atmosphere of heaven is peace and joy. The atmosphere of hell is fear. Anxiety, torment, grief, sorrow. So to whatever degree we experience those emotions on earth, that’s the degree that we experience heaven or hell on earth. So if you learn how to meditate in the word and get God’s promises that bring peace and joy in your mind, And you do it more and more and more. And you can do it. I mean, I’ve been practicing this now for years. But even over the last year, I’ve even been more conscious of I am staying in peace. And even more than that, it’s been a few years. I’ve been thinking I am staying in peace. I live in peace. And guess what? Where do you live? You don’t live at 123 John Street. You live in here. You live in your mind. That’s where you live. Wherever you go, you’re living in your mind. And so what’s going on in your mind is what’s producing your atmosphere. Yes, other people can produce your atmosphere too, but you can even be around all kinds of bad stuff. And if you stay in your mind, then you’re going to be living in peace and joy no matter what is going on. You can’t have peace and joy in the middle of chaos. And it’s what you choose up in your mind to keep up here. And it’s your choice. That’s why I said, everybody say, my mind is my mind. I have authority over my mind and I will not let the devil put thoughts in my mind. Now you say that as confession now, but it’s actually a 24 hour job. You have to keep God’s word in your mind because in your mind is where you live. You live in your mind, but you can walk and live in peace and joy. And I’m bringing this up right now for one thing. It’s because I’ve been hearing it and thinking on it and meditating on it this week and out of the abundance of the heart that now speaks. So it’s coming out of me like a sponge. But also this is what is supposed to be a joyful season. And yet many, many people are not in joy or peace. It’s because they’re not having it in their mind. So I’m telling you how to have peace and joy in your mind. And, you know, I would encourage you to tell your friends that. Some of your friends like to tell you all their bad stuff. Tell them to stop thinking on that and talking on it because that’s going to produce more and more. What they think and say produces, and they keep repeating it. Okay, here’s another lesson. This is powerful. It’s not what I have in my notes, and I have a three-hour message in my notes. Exaggerating a little there. I’m sorry. Probably about a one to one and a half hour message. We’ll just go with what the Lord says. But I learned this so many years ago. A preacher, Bible teacher in the Greek language preached a lesson on it, and I was listening. It was a sermon about the word testimony. the greek word actually and i don’t remember exactly what that greek word is but as i recall well like hebrew okay hebrew in hebrew the word testimony in hebrew words have pictures and the picture is like a corkscrew and what it means is that as you say it a testimony Every time you say it, it has the power to repeat itself or the action repeats. So every time you tell your testimony, this is why you want to tell people how you got saved. Tell people how you got healed. Tell people how God did a miracle for you. A provision came through. Because in the telling is miracle working power to repeat itself. The miracle. Telling about a miracle, something God did, the power is released in the telling of it to do it again. To bring forth the same manifestation again so that the person hearing it can experience what you experienced. So it means to repeat and repeat, but it’s not just repeating the telling, it’s repeating the miracle. So that the miracle goes on and on and on and on. The power keeps being released to do it again, do it again, do it again as it passes on. One person tells another, they had a miracle and then they tell it. And then they had a miracle and they tell it. They had a miracle. And it’s just not, in other words, words are not just words. Words are carrying the anointing. And it’s either the anointing of God or the bondage of Satan that brings, you know, fear and doubt that will bring bondage. That comes out in words. You speak fear and doubt, it’ll bring bondage and slavery. But you speak faith and hope, it’ll bring freedom and deliverance. So in the speaking of God’s words and the testimony, okay, speaking of God’s words, confession of the word, and there are people in the body of Christ and preachers who despise what we now know and call as confessions of God’s word. I’ve heard them tell me that. Because they just think it’s, oh, that’s just that name it and claim it, that blab it and grab it. But the Bible says it. And it says that the power of life and death is in the tongue. And that when you speak the word, you are releasing the power in the word to produce what it is, what it says. When you speak the word, you are releasing the power in the word to produce what it says. What you just heard was the beginning of a short teaching that I gave called joy and peace, the fruit of righteousness. And we will continue and conclude this teaching tomorrow. So join me again tomorrow. And remember, God loves you. You are blessed and highly favored by the Lord.
