SPEAKER 02 :
Good morning. Welcome to Victorious Faith. I’m Cherri Campbell. This morning, I’m going to continue sharing with you the message that I’ve been sharing with you for the last couple of programs that I preached in one of our Victorious Faith services called God Loves Me. I’m sure you’re being blessed and encouraged by this message. So join me now in our live service for part three of God Loves Me. There’s hardly anything you could think on more that’s more important than Than the love of God for you. Because even receiving a healing for yourself. Will be hard. If you’re not filled up with the revelation of his love. Even receiving a financial need met. Will be hard. If you’re not filled with a revelation of his love for you. So this has to come first. Building faith in his love has to come before building faith for anything else. Because everything comes out of his love. And if we know he loves us as we’re going to get to, nothing else he’ll withhold. He won’t withhold anything. Nothing else he won’t want to give you because he’s given you his love. All these scriptures we’re going to get to. But God made us in his image. So we are made in the image of God. God is love. So we are made in the image of love. That means when you look in the mirror, you should see the image of love. I mean, like I said, put it on your mirror. God loves me. But then you can put under it, I’m made in the image of love, which means I am a reflection of him. I also have the image of love. Love is in me. I mean, build these concepts. I’m talking as I’m meditating through this, sharing my thoughts with you. These are the kind of meditations you need to have. God loves me. I’m made in his image. He is love. I’m made in the image of love. And I look like him, so I am the image of love. Let these things just dwell in your heart. Because we are made in the image of love… Only man has the same capacity. I like that word. Like I said, God stretched our capacity. I mean, if your capacity was this big, make it a little bigger and then work on it and make it a little bigger and then work on it and make it a little bigger and make it bigger and bigger and bigger and stretch that capacity in you to understand and comprehend his love. And then as you’re receiving his love grows, your ability to give love grows. Because what you have, you can give. So only man has the same capacity to love, or let me even say potential capacity. We don’t start out with the capacity because we have to stretch it. But we have the potential. Potential is untapped capacity. Resources. Isn’t that what potential is? Potential is untapped resources. So we have the potential to love as much as God loves. You just got to tap into it. And love is a basic need of every human being. It is our highest purpose. I’m just thinking no other creature, even angels, they were created to worship and serve. That’s what they do. And then they all serve in various capacities. Some are guardian, some are warriors, some do things in heaven, some do things on earth. Some are messenger delivery angels like Gabriel, messenger angel, sending messages. But they are still not made in the image of God. Only we are. And what animal has the capacity to love? that we have none dogs can love you yeah your pet dog will love you lick your face slobby slobber all over you and wag his tail yeah I think some dogs really have a big capacity to love and it’s usually they’re usually quick to forgive and very loyal If we could even get the love of a dog built in us. But we have greater potential even than the love of your dog has. We have the love of God, the potential for the love of God in us. But we also are the only creatures that really seriously need love. We need love like we need purpose. It gives us value. The Bible says that without vision, person perishes. Vision is purpose. Having a reason to live. People commit suicide because they have no vision, no purpose. Why should I live? No reason. Let’s die. But you know, people also commit suicide because of no love. Why should I live? Nobody loves me. Did you ever see a horse? Out in the field. Nobody loves me. I think I’m going to go kill myself. Or a cow. Or even a cat. Nobody loves me. I’m going to go kill myself. No other creature will even think of committing suicide because of no love. But people will. Because love is needed. It’s part of having reason to live. It’s part of having that reason, purpose to live because of love, because of other people that are in your life. That’s why some people, if their loved ones die in an accident, they think their purpose has ended. Their loved ones are gone. I have no more reason to live. Because there’s no one to love and be loved by, they think. Don’t ever think that, though, because God can fill that space and God can bring other people into your life. To give and receive love. So we were created in the image of God. God is love, but love has to be expressed. Love is not satisfied until it is expressed. It has to be given and received. God created us because he wanted to give his love, but he also wants to be loved. Now, he did have the Son and the Holy Spirit. So God, the Father, has always been a triune being. He’s never been alone. They’ve always been Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. They are one. They communicate with one another. But they’re distinct. A little comparison that gave me the understanding of how to compare three distinct parts but being one. God gave me the comparison of an egg. An egg has the egg white, the egg shell, and the egg yolk. They can all be separated. You can put the egg yolk separate from the egg white. Women do that when they’re cooking. Men do that when they’re cooking. Separate the egg white and the egg yolk in two different bowls. Put the shell over there. You’ve got three distinct separate parts. They all have different characteristics. Texture, consistency, whatever the scientists will call, say that they’re made of. They’re different. They each do different things. But the yolk by itself is not an egg. The white by itself is not an egg. The shell is not an egg. Only when you put it together, it’s an egg. And the Lord gave me that comparison just because our little tiny brains and comprehension sometimes need a little help trying to grasp the concept of God is three persons, but he’s one God. So God is three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. They all have three distinct personalities. They’re all love. They’re all gracious, but they have different roles. The father’s role is the overseeing role. Jesus is the word made flesh. The Holy Spirit is the dynamite power that is released when God speaks right in Genesis one and two and three. You see, in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Then the Spirit hovered over the waters and God spoke. And Jesus is the word that was spoken. So you see the three persons in action together. So that is God. He was never alone. He always had Father, Son, Holy Spirit. They always had each other. They are love. And the Son always loved the Father. And the Father always loved the Son. You know, just as when Jesus became flesh and dwelt among us, the father said, this is my beloved son. Beloved. Beloved. He’s my beloved. The one I love. The son of my love. The Holy Spirit is loved, of course. So he’s never been without receiving love, but he wanted more children to give love and expand his love to. But he also wants us to love him back. But we desperately. Need his love. But we also need to give love. So love has to be expressed in both receiving first and giving the love. Love has to be expressed both in giving and receiving. God created man to have someone to love and have friendship with. Friendship. Friendship. Look at that. That’s why he walked with Adam in the cool of the day. That’s why he called Abram his friend. He said, Abram is my friend. That’s why he said he talked to Moses face to face. That’s why he called David a man after his own heart. And God wants to walk with you each and every day. He wants to call you his friend. He wants to talk to you, not face to face, but heart to heart. Hallelujah. And he wants you to be a man or a woman after his own heart. He wants friendship, companionship, the exchange of love. Even as I talked about in the blood covenant, it is a marriage. We have a marriage. If you listen to the messages that I did on the blood covenant. We are made one with him. We are married to him. It is a covenantal relationship. And that’s what God wants with us. But we need to focus on receiving his love for us. Now, how else do we know he loves us? Well, I’m going to have to move through these a little bit faster, right? Well, we know God loves us because God made the earth for man. Genesis 126, he created all the livestock, the birds of the air, the fish, the creatures on the ground for a man. What you just heard was part three of a message that I preached in one of our victorious faith services called God Loves Me. I believe you’re being blessed by this message. So join me again tomorrow as we will continue this message. And remember, God loves you. You’re blessed and highly favored by the Lord.
