Welcome to Seeds of Revelation, a short devotional presented by Rabbi Schneider, a Jewish believer in Jesus the Messiah. I remember as a young believer, when Jesus revealed himself to me, I was like a warrior. I mean, I wrestled growing up in school. That was my passion. And, you know, guys are just, they’re kind of conquerors. And so when Jesus revealed himself to me, I was believing Jesus for what the scripture says is victory over the world. The Bible tells us he that’s born of God overcomes the world. So I was looking to the Lord for mastery over life. Even as Jesus walked on the water, I was looking for victory in Jesus over every realm. And we should believe in Jesus for that. That’s important. But I didn’t have much of a revelation about love. But the Bible tells us in 1 John 4, 8, The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love. And so I want to encourage you today. Maybe you’re looking to Yeshua for many things, but you haven’t practically grown in in practicing loving people the bible says that god is love and if we know god we’re going to walk in love now i know i’m certainly far from perfect but i also know that god has brought me into so much more maturity over the years in terms of growing into the reality of walking in love the more you and i practice walking in love the more ascended we’re going to be in walking in the victory of the Holy Spirit. And remember, love is not an emotion first. It’s not a feeling first. It’s a choice first. Jesus said, greater love has no man than this, than a man lays down his life for his friends. Laying down your life is not probably a pleasant emotional experience. A lot of times serving people, loving people, doing the right thing, it’s not something that is emotionally like feeling great. but we’re committed to loving, and so we do it even when it means sacrificing something. When Jesus died on the cross for us because of his love, that was a huge sacrifice. He sweat drops of blood before going to the cross. So I just want to encourage us all today, let’s grow in walking in love let’s practice walking in love jesus said if you walk in my commandments you will truly love me and this is my commandment love one another help us king jesus to walk and remain in your love
