In this insightful episode of Victorious Faith, Cherri Campbell delves deep into the biblical concept of pleading and applying the blood of Jesus. Discover how these principles can serve as a powerful spiritual defense and deliverance from condemnation and judgment. Cherri provides a clear distinction between judgment and harvest, explaining the natural consequences of the law of sowing and reaping and how believers can stand protected under divine principles.

SPEAKER 02 :
Good morning. Welcome to Victorious Faith. I’m Cherri Campbell. This morning, I’m going to continue sharing with you the message that I’ve been sharing with you for the last several programs that I preached in one of our Victorious Faith services called The Power of the Blood of Jesus. So join me now in our live service for part six of The Power of the Blood of Jesus. a pleading of a sentence one way or the other. So anytime you have anything come against you from the enemy, any accusation, any guilt or condemnation, all you do is plead the blood of Jesus and the blood is your defense. And it acquits you immediately. Acquitted. Sentence canceled. I mean, just think of God is the righteous holy judge. He’s got his gavel there. You come to him. Satan is the accuser of the brethren. And he’s saying, Tim has so messed up. He did this and he did this and he did this and he’s no good. And you’re about ready to say, I’m so bad. But the Holy Spirit is your advocate and saying, don’t say it. Don’t agree. Instead, just play the blood. So you step up to the judge and say, I have one plea. I plead the blood of Jesus on my case. And God says, case settled, done. It’s in the blood. It’s under the blood. It’s gone. Sentence canceled. No, there’s nothing to be convicted of. He pleaded the blood. The blood cancels all judgment. The blood cancels all judgment. When you plead the blood, it’s in the pleading of a court case and it makes you innocent just like that because Jesus was your sacrifice. So that’s what pleading the blood is. It’s for judgment and accusation and you get acquitted instantly and sentence canceled and no condemnation when you plead the blood. Hallelujah. That’s what pleading the blood is about. But I learned to think of it differently when I’m using the blood for protection. And I like to say apply the blood because that’s what they did in Exodus on the doorposts. In Exodus 12. You know, before the death angel came through the land of Egypt to kill all the firstborn, God said in Exodus 12, 3, Tell the whole community of Israel that on the tenth day of this month, each man is to take a lamb for the family, representing Jesus. If any household is too small for a lamb, okay, let me just jump on past the details. The animal must be a year old, okay. Take them on the fourteenth day of the month and slaughter them at twilight. Verse 7, Then they are to take some of the blood and put it. So that’s an application. Put it on the sides and tops of the door frames of the houses. Around the door posts. Sides and top. So it’s put it on there or apply it. And then verse 13. The blood will be a sign for you. Isn’t that interesting? He didn’t say it would be a sign for me. It’s a sign for you. It’s something for you to put your faith in. The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are. When I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt. Now that was the judging angel. We do read about the angel of judgment even again in the book of Revelation. The angel of judgment, we also read about it in some of the King’s Chronicles books, and I don’t have the chapter and verse, but where the angel of the Lord came and killed 180,000 of the enemy all at once. So there are times when this angel of the Lord, which is a judging angel, comes to strike down death and judgment. People are not to be afraid of the judgment of God, especially Christians, because we’re not under the judgment or wrath of God. So people say, well, this is the judgment of God on America. No, it isn’t. If God was really going to be judging, you’d see 180,000 die in one night. You wake up and everybody’s dead. That’s what happens when judgment comes from God. This isn’t judgment from God. This is the curse of sin and death working its natural course of harvesting, sowing and reaping. That’s what it is. It’s sowing and reaping, which is working all through. And in Galatians 6 says, if you sow to the flesh, you will reap destruction. If you sow to the spirit, you reap life. So people who sin, sin, sin. Yes, there is a harvesting and a catching up of sin that appears like God bringing judgment. But it’s not God bringing judgment. It’s harvest time of seed sown. So I try to point out, especially at times like this, when people are confusing judgment and harvest. And there are people who say, oh, God is judging. No, he isn’t. Like I said, if God were to judge, you’d wake up tomorrow and 180,000 people would be dead all around you. That’s the way he judges. In the book of Revelation, it’ll be the same. That’s the way it was in the Old Testament. That’s the way it is in the book of Revelation. People fall dead. When God judged Herod, he dropped dead. When God judged Ananias and Sapphira, they dropped dead. There is no… not feeling good for a while kind of judgment of God. They drop when God judges. All right? That’s the way Ananias and Sapphira and Herod and all of the judgments of God in the Bible were instant dropping dead. And so… This is not judgment. This is harvest. People have to understand that the law of sowing and reaping is always working. And Galatians 6, 7, 8, and 9 says, Do not be deceived. God cannot be mocked. Whichever man sows, that shall he also reap. If you sow to the flesh, you will reap destruction. If you sow to the spirit, you will reap life everlasting. And so sin brings a harvest and sometimes a sowing and a sowing and sowing. Every now and then, there’s a season of harvest happening. of sin it is not judgment of God that’s not the way God judges it is seasons that come in and go just like in the natural you have planting season and harvesting planting and harvesting planting and harvesting so you will see the world going along and then all the accusations and the lies you know even in the media of accusations against President Trump I mean it’s not to be surprised that right on the end of that there’s a harvest There’s a harvest of seed sown. So this is a harvest, not a judgment. They are not the same. This is not… God is not judging. This is sin coming to full fruit and harvesting itself. So understand, harvest is not judgment. Harvest in itself is a judgment of sin on itself. It’s not God. Let me say it like that. Harvest is a fullness and fruition… of seed sown and if it’s bad seed it looks like a judgment but it’s just coming to full fruit but it’s all in the natural and spiritual law of sowing and reaping coming to its full cycle it’s not God intervening and doing something he’s not because he doesn’t when it’s God you know it’s God he leaves his mark So anyway, that’s why when he said, I strike an axis 1213, when I strike Egypt, that was a judgment. They woke up the next day and the firstborn in every household, including from the palace to the poorest. Every firstborn was dead. That was God. That was a judgment. And that was the angel of the Lord that brings that judgment. And we see that angel of the Lord, like I said, in Chronicles and and so forth with the armies, enemy armies dropping dead and waking up the next morning and they’re all dead. And we see it again in the book of Revelation. So you see, that’s the way God works. And yes, this was the judgment of God. So I’m trying to explain judgment and harvest. What we’re in today, what we see today going on is not judgment. All right. But he said, this blood is going to be a sign for you. He didn’t say it’s a sign for me. Yeah, I’ll see it and I’ll pass over, but it’s a sign for you. You put your faith in that blood there and you believe that it will cause you to be delivered. It will cause you to be delivered from this tonight. And so the blood is a sign. And he told them to apply the blood to the doorpost. So I’m also talking about the difference between pleading the blood and applying the blood. Now this is my way that I explain it. Because I look at the word plead and I did my own dictionary search and everything. And it is a legal word for a court case in cases of judgment. And so I’m like, well this… What we’re talking about here with the blood in Exodus is not the same thing. Then we are making application of the blood. We’re applying or putting the blood as they were commanded to do. So we apply the blood and I’m going to get more to that on how we do it. But I’m giving you the Old Testament examples of applying the blood of Jesus where it brought protection. So that’s where I’m saying the blood brings protection. We see it in Exodus 12 where the death angel passed over. And it also brought healing. Psalm 105, 37 says that God brought them out with silver and gold because they plundered the Egyptians and there was not one feeble or weak person among them. So all of them had to have been healed in the same act of the blood. So the blood protected them and it also healed them at the same time because they came out with not one feeble person. Hallelujah. Not one people. And, you know, they were slaves and they had been treated badly for a long, long, long time. So they had to have been weakened in their body. They were probably beaten with rods every day by their slave masters. If you watch some of the historical movies, just the kind of movie of the old slave, you see the slave master beating them with whips and rods. I mean, you can expect that they were harsh slave masters. So there’s going to be bruises and there’s going to be cuts and maybe some broken bones. And you go on with this for week after week. And then they were rationing their supplies. So now they are forced to heavier labor. So they were going to be physically in a weak condition. And they were healed in an instant because they came out strong, not one feeble person among them. Psalm 105, 37. There was not a weak one there. They had to have all been healed in their bodies in that one act at the same time. We also see a picture or type of the blood in another location in the book of Joshua, chapter 2. When Joshua was leading the Israelites into Jericho, he sent two spies. He sent two spies ahead and they went into Jericho and they found a woman named Rahab. She took them in. She gave them all the inside information and what to do and how to get in. But then some men from Jericho came and knocked on her door and said, hey, we heard that there’s some spies here. She hid them. and said, no, there’s nobody here. Sent the men of Jericho away, then brought out the two spies and said, now what are you going to do for me? You’ve got to save me when you come and you take Jericho, me and my family. And they said, okay, you put the scarlet rope in your window and everybody in this house will not be harmed. The scarlet rope was a bloodline. It was a picture of blood. It was a bloodline hanging from her window that preserved everyone in that home.
