Now join me in our live service for part two of the power of the blood of Jesus. Number four, we are purified. We are made clean. First John one seven. If we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus, his son purifies us from all sin. Isaiah one 18. Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord, though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. Though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. So we are purified, made clean. Revelation 7, verses 13 and 14 says, Then one of the elders asked me, these in white robes, who are they? Where did they come from? I answered, sir, you know. He said, these are those who have come out of the great tribulation. They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the lamb. We are washed in the blood and made white in the blood. Hallelujah. And then number five, we are free from sin. And this is something that I wish everybody would really drill into their thinking. Sometimes people say, I can’t help it. You can. Because of the power of the Holy Spirit in you if you’re born again. If you’re born again. Not if you’re not born again. Yeah, you really can’t. But if you’re born again, you are made free from sin. Sin is no longer your master. Go ahead and read up all of Romans 6. Don’t give the members of your body to sin because sin shall not be your master anymore. You’ve been set free. So we are free from sin. Romans 6, 18. You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness. Hallelujah. Revelation 1, 5. Revelation 1, 5. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, by his blood. Number six. We are brought near to God by the blood. Ephesians 2, 13. But now in Christ Jesus, you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ. We’re brought near through the blood of Christ. And we’re going to look at some of these scriptures after a bit again. Hebrews 10, 19. Hebrews 10, 19. Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the most holy place by the blood of Jesus, we enter the holy of holies by the blood of Jesus. We come into his presence by the blood of Jesus. And so a good thing to do every time you start to pray. Say, Father, I come to you now through the blood of Jesus. And then go on with your prayer, whatever else you wanted to say. But we come to him through the blood. We enter the holy place by the blood. That’s our entrance. That’s the path that was laid out for us. That washes us so we can come into that holy place. So anytime you start to pray, you can say, Father, I come to you now through the blood of Jesus. And then go on and pray whatever else you wanted to pray. Hallelujah. So we are brought near to God and Hebrews 10, 19. That’s what I said, I guess, since we have confidence to enter the most holy place by the blood. Hallelujah. We need to give the blood its place. When we come before God, we enter by the blood and then we have peace with God. which is also reconciliation. Colossians 1.20 And through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood shed on the cross. Hallelujah. So the blood provides for us daily benefits. Some people don’t know that and they are only thinking of the blood when they’re born again. They go to the cross regularly And they received the washing of the blood of their sins. The blood washes away their sins. And then they think that that’s the end of the blood. Now, the rest is someday, maybe when we get to heaven. But what else is there? There is daily benefit for the blood in our lives. One thing is it provides daily cleansing. Because, yes, every time we sin, we do want to be washed again. Because sin brings sin consciousness and guilt. Not that… We’re going to be punished for that sin because the wrath was laid on Jesus. Jesus carried the punishment for sin. But sin brings sin consciousness. It brings guilt and condemnation. And who wants that? That’s ugly. And that is what separates us from God. our own guilt and condemnation. It says in 1 John, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God. But what if your heart does condemn you? You lose your confidence to talk to God and to believe to receive. So that is a major hindrance to people’s prayers. If people have condemnation, it will hinder prayers and it will hinder faith. 1 John 5, 14 and 15. This is the confidence we have in approaching God. that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if He hears us, we know that whatever we ask, we have what we ask of Him. But this is the confidence we have in approaching God if our hearts do not condemn us. I think that’s the verse before it. If our hearts don’t condemn us. But our problem is heart condemnation. We know we did wrong. So how do we get rid of that, the blood? And I love, I mean, this can be a whole sermon in itself, a teaching on freedom from condemnation and guilt and righteousness understanding. Righteousness, I mean awareness. Righteousness, consciousness. Clean consciousness. And everybody has condemnation. even every Christian until they learn through faith they have to overcome condemnation and get free you can be free from condemnation and live a guilt free life and there’s two ways actually to live a guilt free life and one is to sin so much that you have hardened your heart and the Bible says they have been seared as with a hot iron now they no longer have a conscience and they can murder and it doesn’t bother them They can murder serial killers that doesn’t even bother them at all. Now they have such a hard heart and they’ve seared their conscience to where they don’t feel anything. And people can convince themselves that this is okay until they sear their conscience. That’s what ignoring the correction of the Holy Spirit will do. If you keep ignoring and ignoring and ignoring and ignoring and ignoring, because the Holy Spirit comes, Jesus said in John, And John 14 and John 16, he talks about the ministry of the Holy Spirit. And I don’t remember which chapter he talks about this. John 14 and John 16. But in one of them, I think it’s 16, he says that the Holy Spirit has come to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. So he brings conviction of sin, both to the sinner and the child of God. The Holy Spirit there is the one who will prick your heart with a conviction. You shouldn’t have said that. You shouldn’t have done that. And it’s a good thing if you feel a prick. Because if you don’t, it means your heart is too hard. And there are people who have so hardened their heart, they feel no guilt and they feel no conviction of the Holy Spirit anymore. At one time they did, maybe when they were a child. Who knows how early or how young they were when they hardened their heart. Some hardened their heart at a very young age. Some hardened their hearts at teens or 20s. But they get to a place where their heart is so hard, they feel no conviction of the Holy Spirit anymore. Their heart is like seared as with a hot iron, Paul writes. And that’s a sad place to be. But guess what? We can pray for them with the blood. And I’ve heard testimonies of a person praying for a person who is hard-hearted and no… conviction and no guilt no consciousness of anything being bad so hard hearted And yet somebody prays for them every day that the blood of Jesus washed their heart. The blood of Jesus washed their heart. The blood of Jesus washed their heart. And it’s like that blood just peeled off like layers of an onion until it got down. And one day that person felt the conviction of the Holy Spirit and repented and got born again. And it was the application of the blood by somebody interceding for them. So the blood can peel away like the layers of an onion. The hardness of a heart that cannot feel God. You just keep praying for them. And Lord, I wash their heart in the blood. And when you do this, when you’re praying for others, this is the way I pray. Wash their heart in the blood. I also wash their eyes and their ears because they are symbolic, of course, not physical, but spiritual eyes, spiritual ears, that they would see the truth and they would hear the Holy Spirit. So I say, Lord, wash their heart, their eyes and their ears, meaning their spiritual eyes, their spiritual ears, so that they would see the light and the truth and they would hear the voice of the Holy Spirit speaking to them. And so and then the blood of Jesus washed their heart. And you pray for people like that who are hard hearted and who are anybody who’s lost. That’s the best way to pray for the lost is to just pray the blood over their heart, eyes and ears. And I pray the eyes and ears because the Bible, these are key verses. John 8, 32, you will know the truth and the truth will make you free. I’ve been teaching on the radio about who is Satan. What is Satan? Number one, he’s a liar and a deceiver. His number one weapon is deception. What you just heard was part two of a message that I preached in one of our victorious faith services called the power of the blood of Jesus.
