SPEAKER 01 :
Good morning. Welcome to Victorious Faith. I’m Cherri Campbell. This morning I’m going to continue sharing with you the message I’ve been sharing with you in the last few broadcasts, which is message number seven, the final message in a series of messages that I preached in our Victorious Faith services called, What is the Word? And this message number seven is called, What is the Word? Wisdom. a sword and our standard. So join me now in our live service for the continuation of this message. Number seven, what is the word? Wisdom, a sword and our standard. Use the word at any situation, any financial, any physical sickness, any job or anything that comes in the way of being and doing what God wants and what I’m believing for. I use the word on it. Take the word as an aggressive weapon. A sword is an aggressive weapon. It’s not just for fencing. It’s to be used to attack the devil, to attack the curse, to attack sickness and financial lock and everything you need. Just like Jesus, when he could look at all the arsenal of God’s weaponry, spiritual weaponry, which weapon did he draw? He drew the word. And it gave him the victory. Every time the word will give you the victory. Every time we overcome this life by the word. And then number three, the word is the standard, the standard or the ruler that we live by. We should conform our thinking, our paradigms, which is our way of thinking, our perspectives and our ways to to the word of God. We should be conformed to the word. Don’t try to water down the word to fit modern society. And that’s one thing I started this series and I started the previous series by saying there are even so-called Christians, which I don’t know if they’re true Christians, preachers that say the word of God is irrelevant today. that it doesn’t carry the authority. It’s not applicable to today’s society and all of that. No, no, no. That’s a bunch of lies. It’s from the pit of hell. Those are doctrines of demons because Satan knows that the word of God will always defeat him. So he’s trying to get people to turn away from the word, not regard the word. Don’t read it. It’s too boring. If you don’t know it, you’re not going to be able to use it as a sword. And the devil knows that one of the weapons that he has no ability to resist or to overcome is the word of God. And so he’s trying to get God’s people. Don’t read it. Don’t study it. Don’t meditate on it. Certainly don’t confess it. That’s exactly what we should be doing is reading it, meditating it, studying it and confessing it. Amen. Romans 12, 2 says, do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world. And the word conform there in the Greek, the New Testament was written in Greek. The Old Testament was written in Hebrew. The word conform means to be pressed into a mold. So if any of you have, like, if you’re in the kitchen and you make chocolate candies or candy molds or cake molds at Christmas time, they make molds like Christmas trees or stars, and you press something into the mold and it comes out the shape of the mold. That’s that word conform, to press into a mold. So don’t let the world press you into its mold. To look like them, act like them, talk like them, think like them, believe like them. Do not get conformed or pressed into the mold any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed. And that is the same word that we get the word metamorphosis from where a caterpillar turns into a butterfly. Be transformed by the renewing of your mind. And that comes from the word of God, renewing your mind with the word, because the word of God is the way God thinks, right? Now, I’m thinking of, I’m reminded of Isaiah 55, 10 and 11. And God says, my thoughts are higher than your thoughts. My ways are higher than your ways. And a lot of Christians, a lot of Christians have left it right at that period. Okay, we’re never going to understand God’s ways. Just don’t even try. Well, go into the New Testament, 1 Corinthians 2. And the Holy Spirit comes to reveal. The Spirit knows the deep things of God. Let me just read it to you. And he reveals those things. So where God said in Isaiah 55, my thoughts are higher than your thoughts. My ways are higher than your ways. Yes, they are far higher than natural human thinking and reasoning. But we’re not lost or doomed, I should say, to never know and understand his thoughts. Because he sent the Holy Spirit to reveal things. to reveal his thoughts. 1 Corinthians 2, starting in verse 9. However, as it is written, no eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him. A lot of Christians stop right there. See, we just don’t know. Don’t see it, can’t hear it. Read the next verse. My translation, the first word is but. The word but means that there’s a contradiction or a contrast. But God has revealed it to us by his spirit. So one of the reasons Jesus said in John 14 and John 16, the Holy Spirit will come and show you. He will come and reveal to you. He will come and teach you all things. He is here to reveal all of this word, all of it. What we don’t know and understand yet. He pulls the veil off and we start reading and our eyes are opened and we get revelation. So God sent the Holy Spirit to reveal. God has revealed it to us by his spirit. And the spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man’s spirit within him? In the same way, no one knows the thoughts of God except the spirit of God. But we have not received the spirit of the world, but we have received the spirit who is from God. What’s the next four words? That we may understand. That we may understand what God has freely given us. So many Christians… are living in the Old Testament era where they did not have the Holy Spirit to reveal the word. God’s laws and ways were still a mystery to almost all of them. In Psalms, God said, I showed my works to the nation of Israel, but I revealed my ways to Moses. So there was one man, the leader, the prophet, that understood or had the revelation of God’s ways. All the rest of the people, they didn’t have a clue. They could see the works that God did, but they didn’t understand his ways. And people today, so many Christians are stuck in the tradition that we’re still like that. No. After the resurrection of Jesus, he sent the Holy Spirit to the earth, to the Christian. We’re born again, and we are born of the Spirit, and we are also supposed to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. And the Spirit reveals the mysteries, right? of God’s word, the revelation of God’s word, so that we may understand. God has revealed it to us by his spirit that we may understand. So we’re not in a position of not understanding. So we must transform our thinking and our paradigms by the renewing of our mind by the word of God. And we must change our thinking in order to change our believing, to change our speaking, to change our acting. Proverbs 23, 7, for as he thinks in his heart, so is he. So the word is to be the standard. So when the world says this is acceptable, what does God’s word say? Does God say it’s acceptable or not? Go with what God says, not what the world says. If the world says this is the way we do things, but God says, no, I do it differently. go by what God says. The word of God should be your standard. Will you be an oddball? Yes, we’re supposed to be. Even said in Hebrews 11, we are aliens through this life. Yeah, we are. We feel like oddballs. We don’t fit in because we live by a higher call, a higher standard. And the word of God is a high standard, but it is also the word of God. And this is what we taught in the seed. It is seed in it is the power to do it. Every word that God says to you. When he speaks it, those words empower you to do it. Just for example, healing. When he said, stretch forth your arm to the man who had a shriveled arm, the word stretch forth your arm gave the man the power and ability to do it. When he said to the lame man, can’t walk, pick up your mat and walk. The command enabled him, empowered him. All of God’s words, even his commandments and his promises are empowerments. They are empowerments that enable you to do what he said, do to receive what he promised you to receive his word. is power, it carries power, it produces power to bring to pass what it says. And it enables you, empowers you to live by it and do it if you believe it and hearken to it and receive it. Everything that you hear people say or preachers preach or your grandma or prophets or your best friend Make sure that it lines up with and agrees with Scripture. So many things Christians say are just based on tradition. So many things. I could start naming them. God is in control. Not. I have a whole message. Go to my YouTube channel. Is God in control? Whole message on it. God gave us a free will. If he was in control, that would eliminate free will. God gave us authority over our lives, over our finances, over our health. He gave us all that. Go to that message. So many things Christians say are just based on tradition and on human reasoning and personal experience. They’ll take an experience and even a personal experience becomes a doctrine over a year’s time, years and years. So what great, great grandma and great, great preacher said a few generations ago came from their experience and how they felt about something. And they started teaching and it became doctrine in the church. It didn’t come from the word. A lot of what Christians think and believe are based on traditions and human reasonings and personal experiences. Even their own personal experiences form their opinion and beliefs and other people’s. And even Christians, I mean, well, it didn’t work for me like that. I didn’t experience it. Well, the word is true. Your experience is not what is to determine the truth. If you did not experience something the Bible promises, for example, a healing, it doesn’t mean the Bible is not true. It means you failed to receive. And there are so many reasons that can cause that to happen. What you just heard was the continuation of message number seven, the last message in a series of messages that I preached in our victorious faith services called, What is the Word? And this message number seven is called, What is the Word? Wisdom, a sword, and our standard. And we will continue this message again tomorrow. So join me again tomorrow. And remember, God loves you. You are blessed and highly favored by the Lord.
