SPEAKER 02 :
Welcome to Call to Freedom. Oh, on the way here, the traffic was crazy. And it’s like Holy Spirit said, he’s so precious. I just love him so much. He said, well, what were you doing all weekend? You were in your yard, whacking weeds and watering. I mean, you weren’t out in traffic, so it’s like a new day here. Oh, so be alert and aware of what’s going on around you. Okay, Lord, I will be alert and aware of what’s going on around me. Oh, this week, and I was talking as I was whacking weeds, the neighbor guy came up He has a beautiful yard and he was suggesting that I trim. I have a huge, huge maple tree and it kind of goes over into his yard and over into Jeff and Amy’s yard who are neighbors. And he suggested that I need to really trim it. And I do. I need to call the company. I love to watch them. They’re like monkeys swinging through my big, huge maple tree. because it is encroaching on their yards, and I don’t want that. I want to be a good neighbor and also on the power line. So I told him that I would look into it, and I have the perfect company. They’ve done it before. Remember when that branch broke off and hit my roof, and they came and sawed that huge branch off. In fact, he was walking across from the roof to the tree on that branch. And so they kind of know what the yard is all about. So I was going, I appreciate you telling me this, and I’m going to get it done. And he says, and by the way, this is so fun, and by the way, I’d be happy to pay half of that. Oh, okay. I appreciate that so much. So when we even talk to neighbors who are kind of complaining that our tree is overlapping into their yard’s It’s like God just takes over and gives them kind of an extra little push or a nudge. And they say, you know, I would be willing to pay half of that because I know it’s going to be, you know, when they go into a big tree like that, it’s going to be upward of $1,000. So you know it’s going to be that. So I praise God. He’s always there, always watching out. And he told me to be alert and aware in this crazy traffic. So I hope you are alert and aware wherever you’re listening. And if you’re putting your head down on your pillow at 1030 or 1045, as I’m on the air at 1015 at night, I just pray God’s peace will comfort you and your mind will stay on him. Praise the Lord. Oh, since the creation of the world, God’s invisible qualities. His eternal power and divine nature have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been, and you’ll find that in Romans 1. May the blessings of the Lord always rest upon you in hope and joy and victory. And I’m going to take my little devotional here, and tomorrow morning we’re going to start on July. Can you believe this? It’s going to be July. It’s just gone too fast. Rachel and I were talking about that, and I thought, I was telling her, well, maybe it’s my age that things are going by quickly. She said, no, Rachel is young. She said, no. So I’m grateful. God is collapsing the time until Jesus comes. I’m so happy. Let’s do our Monday Bible slogan while I get my voice back into what it’s supposed to do into this routine of being on the radio. This is my Bible. I am what it says I am. I have what it says I have. I do what it tells me to do. This is my Bible. It has given me new life. It is the word of God. Hallelujah. You are blessed to dispense for in him you live and move and have your being. and in him you live and move and have your being, is in Acts 17, verse 28. And some of you have said, well, I don’t have a computer, so I can’t go online and go to your radio shows. You have a phone. I know. Everybody has a phone. I don’t know one person that does not have a phone. Boy, those phone companies, they are making buku bucks. Well, you can get a KLTT app, or you can go to 670KLTT.com online, On your phone. Yes, on your phone. It’s such an easy thing to do. Kimberly does that from her phone, listening to me every once in a while. Oh, and by the way, last night she had a layover in Charlotte of six hours. So thank you for praying for my daughter. I’m sure she was so happy to get home. Oh, praise God. So if you go to 670KLTT.com, you can listen to it any time. It’s just a wonderful thing to have. It’s a blessing to be able to come to you every day, Monday through Thursday, it’s live at 1 o’clock in the afternoon. And then on Friday, I’m going to be talking about that last Friday’s program with Darren. If you’d also like to, besides going to radio shows, if you’d like to hit that little donate button and give to Call to Freedom, if it’s a blessing to you, I appreciate it so much. It was a year ago last Friday that the debate between President Trump and Mr. Biden took place. Can you believe it? After seeing his lack of brainpower in any way, the Democrats should have then and there said that Biden was finished and he should resign. They should have done it. Now they’re coming out of the cracks and they’re saying, well, I knew he was. But they should have done that seven the seven months before November. But his term went on until the Lord intervened. Praise God in November. Well, last week was one of the greatest triumphs in presidential history with the bombing of the Iran nuclear sites and the positive verdicts from the Supreme Court. Praise God for President Trump’s appointments to the Supreme Court. The victories were phenomenal, and we owe a debt of gratitude to the armed forces and the Border Patrol and the legal team under the leadership of Attorney General Pam Bondi. I want to say that one of the justices, Justice Jackson, remember when she was being interviewed by Congress? And I don’t remember the representative that asked her, but they said, could you please define a woman? And she stammered around and could not define a woman. So this is one of the justices that Biden appointed to the Supreme Court. Oh, God help us. And we must praise the Lord God Almighty for his hand in this wonderful turnaround. Every day I marvel at the things going on. And last week we heard the words from that powerful song, Through our God we shall do valiantly. And I hope you cling to those words because it’s through God’s powerful love and grace that many people will be one to the Lord Jesus Christ and keep us on the right track. Because every day I’m asking Holy Spirit to keep me on the right track. I love what President Trump said a couple weeks ago in an interview. The hunted has become the hunter. Do you remember that? I love that. And he’s got confidence now, and he has authority most of the time, especially with the win from the Supreme Court that put down these judges from these different states and gave him more authority than they have. But we also need to pray for humility for our president because sometimes when confidence and authority becomes powerful in a person’s life, They don’t show and reveal the humility that God wants. So thank you so much for praying for that. Because in humility, we see honor. And that’s in Proverbs. We have honor because of humility. And I’m so grateful, but I love the phrase he used, the hunted, and that was his first term, becomes the hunter. And it’s true, it’s so true that it happens when we allow God to have his way in our lives. We no longer become the hunted by the enemy. We are now the hunter to overcome the enemy and look for souls who need Jesus Christ. You know, Revelation 12, 11 that says, they overcame the enemy, in brackets, overcame By the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony, and they valued not their life even to death. So we know that we overcome the enemy by the blood of Jesus Christ. We’re getting into some dynamic reading in the Word Power for Every Hour Bible Guide. into the reign of King Jehu and King Josiah. And I believe these are similar. These are examples of what is right now in our administration with President Trump, an example of King Jehu and King Josiah, oh, great reformers in their day. And I hope you will read with me through 2 Kings. It’ll give you insight on the Lord’s plans for this time because I believe, as Jonathan Cahn writes about, What happened in the Bible has ramifications and parallels in these last days that we live in to people that are living right now. As I spoke to you before, it’s a paradigm shift. We get a paradigm shift, and that’s what his book is called, Paradigm. And it’s a must-read, friend. It really is. You need to get that book. You can go to ChristianBooks.com or anywhere at a bookstore that you can, a Christian bookstore. And if you haven’t read that book by Jonathan Cahn, capital C-A-H-N, Paradigm, P-A-R-I-D-P-A-R-A-D-I-G-M, Paradigm, and read about it and learn about those paradigm shifts. We’re in one right now. In these last days, we’re in a paradigm shift. Our memory verse for this week is Romans 14, verse 17. Oh, this is so good. The kingdom of God is not eating or drinking. Some people think it is living life. They eat to live instead of they live to eat instead of eat to live. The kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, peace and joy in Holy Spirit. And from the Passion Translation, I’m going to read Romans 14, 17 through 22. For the kingdom of God is not a matter of rules about food and drink, but is in the realm of the Holy Spirit, filled with righteousness, peace, and joy. And that was our reading for today, Romans 14. Oh, so good about the rules and the regulations that we’ve laid on ourselves.
SPEAKER 1 :
Ugh, puke.
SPEAKER 02 :
Serving the anointed one by walking in these kingdom realities pleases God and earns the respect of others. So then make it your top priority to live a life of peace with harmony in your relationships. So then let us pursue those things which lead to peace and the building up of one another. Stop ruining the work of God by insisting on your own opinions about food. Well, you shouldn’t be eating that. That’ll do that to your stomach. Or you shouldn’t be doing that. That’ll just really create… create mayhem in your joints. See, so many people talk about what is important for our bodies and who made our bodies, who created our bodies. God did. So every day I’m thanking him that he has control of my body. He knows exactly what I need to eat and what I need to drink. Praise the Lord. You can eat anything you want, but it is wrong to deliberately cause someone to be offended over what you eat. Now, if you’re at a restaurant, And someone sees you. For instance, if you’re with a Jewish brother or sister, and they’ve just come into the Messianic scene, and you decide that you’re going to eat some of the food that has been forbidden in the Old Testament by the Jewish tradition, then you order something else. Yeah, so you don’t offend him. And consider it an act of love to refrain from eating meat or drinking wine or doing anything else that would cause a fellow believer to be offended or tempted to be weakened in his faith. Now, I don’t do this. I haven’t had a drink since Darren’s been gone. I know. I used to. I used to get a drink when I had Mexican food. Okay, but that’s done and over with. but what if we went to a restaurant and in that restaurant they did serve liquor liquor and i’d say you know i’ll have a shot of this and a shot of that and a tequila the people that i’m with because i i’m a teacher of the bible would say what what is she doing so we need to be very careful about who we’re with that we don’t offend them in any way the Verse 22 of Romans 14 says, keep the convictions you have about these matters between yourself and God and don’t impose them upon others. Today, because I’ve been thinking about this most of the weekend when I was whacking weeds and watering, I want to bring up last Friday’s program. And I don’t do this. I don’t think I ever really have. Because Darren gives such anointed answers to people. His gift of discernment, thank you, Holy Spirit, is powerful. And because he saw in the callers, especially he saw in Ron, an immature man. He advised him to obtain a lawyer or he would be eaten up in court. They were going through a divorce. And Darren has been through that. So Jesus has given us authority over all the power of the enemy. But if we don’t have the word of God in our spirits, the enemy has opportunity to come in, bring chaos and confusion. This is what Ron, the first caller, was going through. We find that the majority of the people who call themselves Christians do not know all the things available to the kingdom of God on this earth. And Jesus said in Luke 10, verse 19, So we know we have authority over him. But if you’re living with one foot in the world and trying to be a Christian, you know, on the other side of the fence, my friend, it won’t work. It just won’t work. It won’t. And here, Darren gives Ron. He’s the first caller on Friday’s show. And if you want to go back, I believe it’s June the 27th. And it’s a Friday show with Darren and me. And you just go to freedomstreet.org, click on radio shows, and you’ll get it. or you can do that on your phone to freedomstreet.org and click on radio shows. Darren gives Ron great advice on going to court with his wife who’s divorcing him. Darren tells Ron to get a lawyer because Darren knows that this caller is ignorant about the keys of the kingdom. that Jesus gave us, and our ability and authority to speak the word of God. Now, those kingdom principles begin with seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness. Okay, that’s seeking God first, not a good settlement or not the right woman or man in our lives. No. So Darren tells him to get legal representation. Ron, you need an attorney. And ask for a continuance. Boy, Darren was in and out of court all the time. When you get to court, you’re always contesting the money issues in the divorce. It’s all about money. I added to the conversation by saying bitterness may set in five or six years down the road if you don’t get this. thing out and the thing isn’t completely done in the courtroom. When a marriage isn’t maturing and getting better, folks, bitterness will set in. And Darren prayed for Ron concerning this whole thing. I want to tell you that Darren didn’t lose one court appearance. It was amazing how God worked on his behalf through all those years of Darren’s coffee shop And then into the court appearances that we had when I was first married to him. I’m so glad that’s over with. I’d never been to court in my life. And here we were going back and forth into the court. Oh, wow. God, you are so good. And the next caller was Walter. the second caller on the Friday’s program. He was a man full of regrets about being with a woman who slipped away. She slipped away. This woman has had different men in her life, and they had left their substance with her. And if this woman has been with a dozen guys, they trade substance with She’s joined herself to different men, and she’s not congruent. I looked up the word congruent. It’s compatible, agreeing on the same level, consistent, fit together well. And God wants us to fit together with our partner in life, and especially in the spiritual friend. The other day when I was about to get out of the vehicle to go to the studio, I saw an older man and woman coming around the corner of the building. I’d seen them come from the parking lot across the way. He was walking several feet ahead of her and she was lagging behind. Her shoulders were drooped. When they went up the steps, there are at least 10 steps to this high rise that we have the radio station in. to the front door, he was still walking ahead of her. He didn’t stop to open the door for her. In fact, the door slammed in her face as he went inside. This man and woman were by all counts married, and they are an example of incompatibility and disagreement. They didn’t fit well. I was so sad as I went into the building. I’m sure they’ve been married for many years and they have not known happiness or joy as God intended. This is an example of how I felt after Darren and I talked to Walter. I was so sad at his sincere but ignorant answers. Walter thought he had to go to bed with numerous women in order to find that perfect fit. People wonder why there is confusion and depression, and they don’t realize that all these relationships have caused defilement in their lives. Guy number one gives her his substance, and then guy number two gives her his substance. In our culture, this having multiple sex partners has become the norm. inappropriate behavior has become the norm, folks. And in this case, a dozen sexual acts is a low number with this caller. They have a composite identity. Each of the 12 other guys that had given her pieces of themselves, that gave her a scattered identity, not knowing who she is, depression, anxiety, fear, and thinking of suicide. may set in this is a sin a sin and it will land in disaster and i don’t want to leave you today without saying that god has the answer jesus is the answer it says in isaiah 1 verse 18 oh this is so good though your sins be as scarlet they shall be as white as snow though they be red as crimson they shall be as wool This is Jesus’ blood going to work for us and coming to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. I’ve got so much more to talk about this conversation with Walter tomorrow, and I’m going to talk about inappropriate behavior and the norms of inappropriate behavior in this day and age. Even the church is involved in this. I want you to hear Kim Walker Smith sing, I hear the Savior say, Thy strength indeed is small. Child of weakness, watch and pray. Find in me your all in all.
SPEAKER 01 :
I hear the Savior say The high strength indeed is small Child of weakness watch and pray Find in me thine all in all Jesus paid it all All to Him I owe Left a crimson stain He washed it white as snow Change the leper’s spots And melt the heart of stone Jesus paid it all All to Him I owe Sin had left a crimson stain He washed it white as snow I stand in him complete Jesus died my soul to save My lips shall still repeat he
SPEAKER 02 :
Oh, that’s Isaiah 1 verse 18. Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. Jesus paid it, folks. He paid it for us. I remember when we were first married. I mean, the legalistic church leaders in the front range here. Oh, they came against Darren. It was awful. It was awful. It was awful. Galatians 5 verse 1 says that we who are more spiritual will lift up the one caught in a sin. Now, Darren had divorced Rita, his wife, and they thought that was the unpardonable sin. Darren went to court several times because of these accusations, and he told his accusers, you are angry with me because you want me to grovel for the sins I committed. And I know that I know that God has forgiven me. Oh, that’s the clincher, folks. That’s the clincher. God has forgiven me. And that’s what makes you angry, he said to them. Not once, not twice, half a dozen, maybe seven or eight times he met with these leaders. And they just wouldn’t have anything to do with him. And so he judged their words in righteousness. And two of these churches closed. within six months. You cannot touch God’s anointed, even if you feel that they’ve committed a sin. Take it to God. Take it to God. Oh, what a life lesson I learned in those first few years of marriage with Darren. Jesus is the only answer for people who are stuck in lifestyles of sin. And we’re going to talk more about Walter. He is a unique case. He is someone that I believe a lot of you… have been involved in the same thing and you’ve been miserable you’ve been miserable most of your life because you don’t know how to get out of it well jesus does i’m going to tell you how to get out of a tangled web of sin and deceit so that you can truly experience the joy that jesus promised if you have given your substance to another in a sexual act even years ago, but you feel so awful. A prayer of deliverance from that specific act is given through Darren’s anointed prayer, and I’m going to give that tomorrow. Listen tomorrow and learn how loving and gracious our Lord truly is. Oh, he is. He just desires that no one be lost. No one. No one. The Walters and the Rons that I talked about. God bless you and keep you. It’s going to be good. It’s really going to be good and a freedom that you’ve never known before. I love you. God bless you and take joy.
