SPEAKER 01 :
Good morning. Welcome to Victoria’s Faith. I’m Cherry Campbell. This morning I’m going to continue sharing with you a message that I preached in one of our Victoria’s Faith services called God Loves Me. And I trust this message is blessing you. So join me now in our live service for the continuation of this message, God Loves Me. God has proven his love. Don’t ever challenge him, question him. Don’t say, God, prove it. He already did. He does every day. He does it every day. Hallelujah. God’s great desire to give is beyond man’s comprehension, although he has demonstrated it throughout history. He has always been faithful to his people to deliver them and bless them. He has always been good. Wait, wait, wait. I can just hear somebody say, but I had somebody, a loved one die. They didn’t get delivered. They didn’t get healed. Well, it wasn’t God’s fault. That’s another message. Don’t blame God. There’s the curse of sin and death. There’s the spiritual laws involved. So many things are involved. God has never failed his word. And let me say this again. I’ve said it before. Hebrews 1 3 says God is upholding all things by the power of his word. That means if his word ever fails. All things would fail to exist, including God himself. He is truth. He cannot lie. If his word fails, if he ever failed, he would self-destruct. If God’s word ever failed, God would self-destruct. And the universe and all tangible physical things would instantly disappear, no longer exist. If God failed, God is upholding all things by the power of his word. The fact that your heart is beating, your breathing is God is upholding you. His word cannot fail. It is not God’s will for any to perish. It’s not God’s will for anybody to be hurt, be sick, injured, lose things materially, financially, financial loss and hardship. It’s not God’s will. Let me throw in there real quickly. John 10, 10. How many of you know it? The thief comes only to steal, kill, and to destroy. Who of you is going to call God the thief? Don’t you dare. Jesus immediately followed it with the next phrase. It’s a contrast saying, but I have come to give life and give it more abundantly. So Jesus and God, the father never steal, kill or destroy. It is the thief. He’s also called the devourer. Malachi 3.10, God will rebuke the devourer for our sake when you tithe. In Peter, he’s called the adversary. In Revelation, he’s called the destroyer. He’s got many names, destroyer, adversary. father of lies but I’m thinking of physical he comes to steal kill and destroy Jesus says I came to give life and give it more abundantly he never reverses it turns around it and takes life he never takes health he never takes away money or possessions. He never takes loved ones. God is not a taker. Think of those words. Jesus said, I give life more abundantly. What is a thief? A taker. And he takes what is not given and Satan is the thief. He is the one coming to steal, kill, and destroy, taking what you did not give or want to give up. Jesus only comes to give, give, give, give, give. He’s only on the outward side and only receives what you give him. Remember even my lesson on faith and receiving the Greek word for receive there. Believe you have received. And I give you the example of my Bible. It’s actually the aggressive word to take. Whatever you have asked for in prayer, believe that you have received it. But that Greek word is lambano. And it means to take, to grasp with the hand, to take to yourself, to take possession of, to seize. That’s the word receive in the Bible. So whenever you see the word receive in the Bible, New Testament, Greek, it’s almost always that word take. So you need to scratch out receive and take. Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe to take it. All right? Because take and receive have totally different attitudes, right? Taking is aggressive. Receiving is passive. And I give you the example. If one person is holding my Bible and I’m going to take it, I’m going to take hold, grasp and pull it to myself. But if I just put my hand out open, palm face up. And I’m going to receive the Bible. Somebody else has to be active and lay the Bible in my hand. I did nothing at all. Inactive, passive. God gives active. He does not receive in the Greek tense passive. word lambano take he receives in the passive tense what we think of in english inactive god will only receive from you what you give him you have to put it in his hand he will never reach out and grab it and take it from you He will not take your tithe out of your pocket. You have to give your tithes and offerings. Neither will he take your child. I want that one. Your mother, your father, your brother, your sister, your spouse, your loved one. Foolish and ignorant preachers and Christians have said, God, why did you take them? He didn’t. He never reached out and snatched him and said, I’m taking that one. I want that one. I want that one. I want that one. God is not a taker. Everybody say that. God is not a taker. Say it again. God is not a taker. Jesus said, I came to give, give, give life more abundantly. He will never take the aggressive action, but God will sit there with open palm and say, he will receive anything you give him. That’s why he receives your tithes. your offerings. He receives your love. He receives your devotion. He receives your obedience. He receives your life. When you say, I give my life to you. And remember, think of Jesus on the cross. The father did not take Jesus life. Jesus said, father into your hands. I commit my spirit. I put my spirit in your hands. I give you my life. The father is there to receive all of his children who are going to heaven, whether they died in accident, sickness or old age, he receives them. but he’s not reaching out and grabbing and plucking anybody he chooses. He’s not a taker. I want to take that one. I want to take that one. God, why did you take? He didn’t. He received them into his arms, but he did not take them. The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. And what does it do? A thief takes what is not given. He takes life, takes money, takes health, takes peace of mind. The thief is the one taking. Blame the devil and resist him. Resist the devil and he’ll flee from you. God will give life. He’ll give gifts. If God gave his own son, how will he not also along with him graciously give us all things? He gives health. He gives peace. He gives joy. He meets your needs physically, financially, materially, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, relationally. He gives everything you need. He’s a giver, giver, giver, giver, giver, giver, giver. His arms are there to open and receive and cradle, cherish whatever you give him, but he’ll never take anything from you. He is not a taker. So blame the devil and learn how to overcome the devil. That’s a whole message I gave you in a nutshell, and I’ve taught it in many other lessons. how to overcome the devil, how to receive from God the operation of the laws of the kingdom. So God… Look at this again. God’s great desire to give is beyond man’s comprehension. Although he has demonstrated it throughout history, he has always been faithful to his people to deliver them. Always. He has never failed. His word has never failed where people have failed to receive. It was due to lack of knowledge. God said in Hosea four, six, my people are destroyed because of lack of knowledge, lack of knowledge, right? Not because God failed to give them what they asked. He has always been faithful to his people to deliver them and bless them. He has always been good. But man has always blamed God for their hardships when it was their own sin that caused it. Or you could say their own ignorance that caused it. God has been lied about more than any other person on earth. He’s been blamed for every bad thing. So we have to learn why do bad things happen? It’s not because of God. It’s because of sin. It’s because of Satan. It’s because of the curse of sin and death. It’s because of mishandling the laws of the spirit, the laws of the kingdom. All those are reasons, but none of them are because of God. What you just heard was the continuation of a message that I preached in one of our victorious faith services called God Loves Me.
