The episode further unravels the astounding capabilities of angels – as guardians, deliverers, and guides leading us toward God’s promises. Through vivid scriptural accounts, from Daniel in the lion’s den to Peter’s miraculous escape from prison, Cherri showcases the dynamic roles angels play in circumventing danger and setting the stage for our breakthroughs. This discussion also reinforces the need for spiritual assistance in overcoming not just visible adversities but also demonic opposition hindering our progression. Cherri powerfully reminds us of the divine helpers at our disposal and promises more insights in tomorrow’s episode.
SPEAKER 01 :
Good morning. Welcome to Victorious Faith. I’m Cherri Campbell. This morning, I’m going to continue sharing with you a message that I preached in one of our Victorious Faith services called Keys to Breakthrough Part 2, Releasing the Angels. So join me now in our live service for the continuation of this message, Keys to Breakthrough Part 2, Releasing the Angels. The, look, books were open. It doesn’t say book singular. It says books with an S plural. Amen. There are the books. And then we go to Revelation chapter 20 verse 12. And I saw the dead great and small standing before the throne and books with an S were opened. And then another book singular was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. Okay, so what do we have here? There is a book called the book of life. That is the book that has your name written in it when you’re born again. And says you are a child of God. Your name is written down in the book of life. So that’s the list of the names of all the people born again. And you better have your name written in that book. Amen. But then another book was opened, but there were books opened and the books are, are what was written, what they had done as recorded. So what you do is recorded in books. Now, thankfully we have the blood of Jesus so that whenever we do something wrong, we mess up, we sin, we have the blood of Jesus to wash away the bad and the ugly, right? But then the good remains. Remember, Jesus said, even he who gives a cup of cold water to one of these little ones will not lose his reward. So the books of your life are when you’re born again, the bad washed away by the blood. What remains is the good things that you have done to serve the Lord and to love God. Those remain. And then by those acts recorded in the books, you are rewarded, right? So when we go to heaven, we also have a judgment and it’s called the crown judgment because it’s where we get our crowns and it’s where we get our rewards. So we’re not judged for sin. We’re judged for the works that we do that are good in obedience and service to God. And we get rewards and crowns for those things that we’ve done that are recorded in the books, right? And remember, Paul wrote and said that if what we have done, if we’ve built with straw, hay, and stubble, it would be burned up by the fire. And we would escape as one escaping the fire. We’ll get into heaven, but all of our works are burned up because they’re works of the flesh. But if what we do is good, then it’s gold, silver, and precious stones, and it will endure through the testing of fire, and it will be purified, and it will remain, and those things we will get our rewards for. Amen. So you’ve got books in heaven with your good deeds written in it so that on judgment day, reward day, those books are open and said, look what you’ve done. Look what you gave. Look how you served. Look how you sacrificed. Look how you, you blessed other people and then you will get your rewards. Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. Amen. And then angels protect you from danger. You know, this is one of the most common things that we know about angels. Most Christians have heard this part before. Angels protect you from danger. Exodus 23, 20. See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way. Guard you along the way. Psalm 34, 7. The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him and he delivers them. Psalm 91, 11 and 12. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. Verse 12. They will lift you up in their hands so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. Hallelujah. So we have the protection of the angels. Glory to God. Daniel chapter 6, verse 22. When Daniel was in the lion’s den… He came out unharmed, unscratched out of the lion’s den. My God sent his angel and he shut the mouths of the lions. They have not hurt me because I was found innocent in his sight. And so we see that Daniel was saved. Then angels deliver you out of trouble. Angels deliver you out of trouble. Genesis 19, 15. Now, this is when the angels came to help Lot and his family escape Sodom and Gomorrah. Genesis 19, 15. With the coming of dawn, the angels urged Lot saying, hurry, take your wife and your two daughters who are here or you will be swept away when the city is punished. So notice they delivered them out of trouble. And then also in Acts chapter 5, 18 and 19, this is when the apostles were put in jail. They arrested the apostles, put them in the public jail. But during the night, an angel of the Lord opened the doors of the jail and brought them out. Praise the Lord. And then Acts chapter 12, verses 7 through 10. You know the story when Peter was in prison and the angel came to him and struck his side, woke him up, said, get up. And the chains fell off Peter’s wrist. The angel told him, put on your clothes and sandals. And then Peter followed the angel, verse 9, out of the prison. And then verse 10, they passed. The first and second guards came to the iron gate leading to the city and it opened for them by itself. And they went through it. Hallelujah. So we see the angel brought Peter out of jail. Then angels go before you to help bring you into the land. The Lord has promised you. We could say the promised land to help bring you into the promised land or the land. God has promised you. Now we’re going to talk about some of these more after a few minutes, talking about how we apply these things, but helping you to bring you into the place that he’s promised you breakthroughs. positions, whatever it is that things God has had for you, then he will give you angels to help you get there, to help you get into that place. And we’re going to talk about that as we go here, but we need help. We can’t get from where we are into the place that God has for us by ourselves. We cannot get there by ourselves. We need help. And God gives angels to help us get there. Praise the Lord. To help bring you into the land, the Lord has promised you. Exodus 23, 20. See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared. So to guard you and to bring you to the place. And then verse 23 says, Exodus 23, 23. My angel… We’ll go ahead of you and bring you into the land. Everybody say, bring us into the land. Hallelujah. The land of all the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, and all the ites. And I will wipe them out. Glory to God. So God, we’re going to also see that God will destroy the enemy. Angels go before you to prepare the way. Prepare the way. Now, all of these angels, we can call them according to their work. We have so far talked about gatekeeper angels, praise and worship angels, messenger angels delivering messages. And then we talked about reporting angels. They’re the reporters angels. Heaven’s reporters. Good thing they’re not like CNN, right? Heaven’s reporters going back and forth with messages. And then protectors and deliverers, angels that protect. We are familiar with calling them guardian angels. And then delivering angels. Angels deliver you out of trouble. So these are delivering angels, right? And then, how would we say these? Preparers of the way, angels. Preparers of the way, angels. These are angels that prepare the way. Go ahead of you, angels. These are angels that go ahead. Go before you into the future, into the place where you’re called to go. And they clear the way, prepare the way. Preparers of the way, angels. Have you ever heard of that before? I think we made up a name there. Exodus 32, 34. Now go lead the people to the place I spoke of and my angel will go before you. The angel that goes ahead. And Exodus 33 verses one and two. Then the Lord said to Moses, leave this place, you and the people you brought up out of Egypt and go up to the land. I promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob saying, I will give it to your descendants. I will send an angel before you, an angel to go before you, angels that go ahead, angels that prepare the way. And drive out the Canaanites, Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites. So these angels go ahead of you to remove obstacles, even remove demonic opposition. Because all of these ites represent demonic spirits. Evil spirits that are blocking you. You know, have you ever felt like you’re just being blocked? You can’t get where you want to go. Things aren’t happening. Breakthroughs. That’s why this is a key to breakthrough. Because we need the help of the angels to get rid of all the ites. To get rid of all those demonic spirits that are in our way. Stopping us from getting that thing that we’re believing for. That job. That ministry. That work. That financial breakthrough. That healing breakthrough. Whatever it is. There are a lot of ites in your way. But God has angels to deal with them for you. God has angels to get rid of those ites, those demonic spirits, and remove them from your way so that you can enter in. So you can receive the harvest. So you can come to that place you’ve been believing God for. We need the help of these angels to get rid of all the ites, all those demonic spirits for us. We can’t see them. We can’t physically do anything about them. But in the spirit and in faith, we can. And I’ll talk about that later, about how we do that. But we need these angels and they are here to help us. Then angels bring encouragement and strength. Angels bring encouragement and strength. First Kings 19 verse three, Elijah was afraid and ran for his life from Jezebel. Verse five, then he laid down under the tree and fell asleep. All at once an angel touched him and said, get up and eat. He looked around and there by his head was a cake of bread baked over hot coals and a jar of water. He ate and drank and then lay down again. The angel of the Lord came back a second time and touched him and said, get up and eat for the journey is too much for you. So he got up and ate and drank, strengthened by that food. He traveled 40 days and 40 nights until he reached Horeb, the Mount of God. So we see angels will bring encouragement and strength. And then Matthew 4, 11. This is after Satan tempted Jesus. The devil tempted Jesus in the wilderness for 40 days. Then the devil left him and angels came and attended him after the temptation. And then in the garden of Gethsemane during the great. testing of his faith and his surrender to God in the garden of Gethsemane, Luke 22, 41. He withdrew about a stone’s throw beyond them, knelt down and prayed. And verse three says, an angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him. That’s when he sweat great drops of blood and an angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him. Then angels escort those who are born again into heaven when they die. What you just heard was the continuation of a message that I preached in one of our victorious faith services called Keys to Breakthrough Part 2, Releasing the Angels. And we will continue this message again tomorrow. So join me again tomorrow and remember God loves you. You are blessed and highly favored by the Lord.
