Matthew 9, 35 and 36. Again, he was preaching the kingdom and healing every or all disease and sickness. And I encourage you to circle the word all or every in your Bible because most Christians overlook that word when they read those scriptures again and again and again. And I’m going just through Matthew, Matthew 4, 23, 24, Matthew 9, 35, 36. He healed every disease. Matthew 12, 15. He healed all their sick. Matthew 14, 14 and 35 and 36. All who touched him were healed. And Acts 10, 38. How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and power who went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed of the devil. It says every time that masses came, how many did he heal? He healed them all. He never said no to anybody. Now, do you think there might have been an unrighteous person in those masses? Yes. Absolutely is an absolutely right answer. In the masses, and historians say there are 10,000, 20,000, or even 40,000 or 50,000 people in some of these crowds. So if you have 10,000, 20,000, or 40,000, even just 10,000 people, just 10,000, would there be any unrighteous people there? Any unholy people there? Any people who have done anything wrong? How many did Jesus heal? All. He healed them all. He healed them all. He healed them all. So we have from the miracles of Jesus, the witness that he healed them all. He never said no. The only time he was asked, he said yes. He never said no to anybody. He always healed them all. Glory, glory, glory to God. So there are so many confirmations. And then we know it’s his will to heal us because it’s also because it’s part of redemption. It’s in the same package with the forgiveness of sins. And there’s a great lesson on that because, first of all, sin is what brought death and death is what brought sickness. Sin came and death by sin, says in Romans. And in that way, death came to all men. Sickness and disease is the offspring of death. Lack and poverty and hunger is the offspring of death. It’s death and finances. Strife. Division is death in relationships. Discouragement is death in hope. Sorrow is death of joy. Sickness and disease is a slow or fast process of the body dying. And so sin came and death came by sin. Jesus came to take care of the sin problem. But don’t you know that if sin came and death came by sin, if you reverse it and take care of the sin, what happens to the death? It’s reversed also. Jesus said in John 10, 10, I came to give life and give it more abundantly. He came to give life. And so even the forgiveness of sin is what heals sickness and disease, right? That’s why in so many of the miracles, I won’t even go through them. So many, even scripture promises of the Old Testament and New Testament. He forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases. Psalm 103. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me. Bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not any of his benefits. who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases. See, so many times forgiveness of sin and healing are even in the same scripture. Back to back. Forgive sin, heals diseases. Forgive sin, heals diseases. Why? Because the forgiveness of sins heals the disease. even the one, the paralytic that was let down through the roof. And Jesus said to that man, to the paralyzed, get up, your sins are forgiven. Why didn’t he just say, get up and walk? He said, get up, your sins are forgiven because your sins forgiven is what makes you walk. They go together. When the sin is forgiven, the healing comes. And it’s supposed to work that way, except the curse in the earth and all of that is always what we’re battling against. But what we see and what we’re understanding that is, is that Jesus purchased it by his blood. His blood purchased your healing. Forgiveness of sin purchased healing and purchased deliverance from lack and poverty and purchased deliverance from depression. Mental torments and discouragements, oppressions and depression. It purchased deliverance from all that because it all comes in forgiveness of sin, and it’s all bought by the blood of Jesus. Hallelujah. That’s why when you take communion, it’s a healing meal for the body. The bread and the juice are healing elements because by his stripes you were healed. So when you take the bread, Matthew 8, 17, and… 1 Peter 2.24, Isaiah 53, by his stripes you were healed. And so taking the bread brings healing. And by his blood you have life, and that brings healing. And so we receive our healing by claiming it, calling it, thanking him for it. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. And so a couple examples of taking, let me just give you one. Remember the woman with the issue of blood. Did she ask Jesus for permission before she touched him? No. She went and took a healing. See, Jesus never offered it to her. Jesus never offered it to her. He had the power, but he didn’t go search her out. I’m looking for that woman with the issue of blood. There’s one around here somewhere. Where’s that woman? Woman, I want to give you some healing today. He didn’t pay any attention to her. He’s a man in the flesh, so we don’t know that he even knew she was there. And she reached out and touched the hem of his garment because she believed in her heart. And it says that she said to herself, she declared what she believed. In verse 28, she said, if I just touch him, this is in Mark 5, Mark 5, 28. She said, if I just touch him, I will be whole. She said that. And the Greek there is, again, a continuous action saying. The saying was not, she said, at one time. but she must have started it back in her house. I need to go find Jesus. If I touch him, I’ll be whole. I need to get to Jesus. If I touch him, I’ll be whole. I need to get to Jesus. If I touch him, I’ll be whole. And so she’s pressing through the crowd, and there’s a crowd around him, and there was a throng touching him. Did anybody else get healed? No record of it. And if there was, in this case, I’m sure it would have been recorded. but no record of anyone else. Lots of touches, but nobody else healed. She had to press, probably on her knees, crawling. For one thing, she was weak, and for another thing, she had to get through all the crowds of people, and probably the easiest way was down low to press through. And to touch the hem of his garment, she had to be low, not his shoulder. the hem of his robe, which is down by his feet, and she’s pressing, I’ve got to touch him. If I touch him, I’ll be healed. If I touch him, I’ll be healed. If I touch him, I’ll be healed. If I touch him, I’ll be healed. I’ve got to get to Jesus. I’ve got to get to Jesus. And she pressed, and she pressed. If I touch him, I’ll be healed. She reached out and touched him, and that power came into her body. Healing. Healing. And Jesus felt the power released from him, which he had no control over. He didn’t do it. And he didn’t turn around and when he said, first of all, who touched me? He didn’t know. When he saw her, he said, lady, this is your lucky day. Good thing you touched me. No. My power made you well. Is that what he said? No. My will was for you to be well today. Was that what he said? No. He said, your faith. Your faith made you whole. Go and be whole of your plague. She took a healing. She didn’t ask permission. She didn’t say, Jesus, please, I’m one here. I need it today. May I be one of those favored ones? Can I be a favored one? You know, so many Christians think that God favors some and not others for healing, that it’s his will for some and not for others. Can I be one of those favored ones? She took a healing that day. She didn’t ask permission. He didn’t even know she was coming. There was no sign of it. He was in the natural, just like you and me, until he felt the power go out of him. And then he didn’t know who it was because he had to ask to find out. She took a healing that day, and a miracle happened in her body. She had been bleeding for 12 years. And it stopped when she, Lambano, reached out, took possession, seized and took to herself the power of God that she knew was in Jesus. She had heard that he was healing people. People were healed who touched him. And she says, I’m getting mine. All you have to do is reach out by faith and say it. And believe it in your heart without wavering. Without wavering. Without wavering. And the more serious the condition is, the more serious you have to be. The more committed you have to be to his word to not waver. To not waver because the body, the way it feels, even she, she would have been weak. Anybody with an issue of blood is not supposed to be in public. You’re called unclean. So probably either she stays locked up in her house or goes out saying, unclean, unclean, unclean, just like the leper. Everybody stays 20 feet away. I mean, talk about social distancing. They had social distancing. The unclean, the leper, the sick, the bloody, the dead. Couldn’t go near him. That was serious social distancing, and she’d had it for 12 years. And so she had all these reasons of why, oh, I shouldn’t bother Jesus. I shouldn’t go out in public. You know, I’m not supposed to get close to people, you know, say 20 feet away from them. But how could I say 20 feet away if I’m going to press through that crowd? I have to social distance. She broke all the rules. in order to take a healing. Even Jairus, the synagogue ruler, was one of the Jewish authorities, could have been one condemned her. Hey, woman, what are you doing out here in public? He was a Jewish authority. Could have instigated, who knows, the stoning. whatever, that she had to go out in front of the one who could have been the very one to condemn her and do it right in front of him and take her healing. She had all kinds of obstacles. So you’ve got to be the more diligent. You’ve got to be the more determined. You’ve got to be the more committed. You’ve got to be the more single-minded.
