The singular basis for all activities and goals associated with The Calling is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This is our recognition that we are actively and naturally inclined to disobey God and the way of life he has prescribed for us. But God, with immense love for us, sent his son Jesus to receive the consequences of our rebellion. If we recognize our need for restoration, we simply need to trust God and trust that Christ’s payment was enough, and we will again find acceptance with God and therefore are made able to have an active relationship with him, in which he continues to love us at the depths of who we are with immense strength.
Our response of love to God comes in a very simple form: we obey. First of all, we obey his commandments and his command to love the people around us. Secondly, we obey the direction he gives us in our individual lives. Often, this can be the most difficult area to obey God because it is different for everyone and it is easy to be afraid of being wrong about what we hear him calling us to, it is frightening to risk what we have in the present for an unsure future, and it is difficult to trust God when we don’t have a lot of evidence.
The Calling is not merely about making peoples’ dreams come true – but about helping people understand and achieve the dreams God has given each individual. We trust that God is actively making the world what it needs to be and our role in that process is merely doing what he has asked us to do at an individual level. Your calling from God will never contradict the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the commands God has given us, including his commands to love him and others. We want to help you answer the questions: 1 – what is God calling me to? And 2 – how do I fearlessly obey?
We are here to help you discern what it is God is calling you to and to encourage you to fearlessly obey – if it is God calling, he will not let you fail!

Dr. Chrysandra Brunson is an international speaker, author, and founder of The Calling, a nonprofit she launched at 18 to help people pursue their God-given dreams. A native of Colorado, she’s spoken to crowds of 40,000 in Haiti, appeared on Good Morning America, Fox News, TBN, DayStar, NBC, and ABC 7 News, and has been honored as Miss Colorado Choice for Miss Colorado Miss America and Ms. International World Ms. Monaco as her cousin is Princess Grace Kelly.
