In this episode, Cherry Campbell concludes lesson 12 from her series on The Kingdom of God, focusing on the commanding nature of faith. Cherry emphasizes the influence of persistent faith without doubt, explaining how our words, like divine commands, can change our circumstances. Balancing encouragement with expectation, she imparts wisdom on maintaining a positive faith stance while waiting for God’s promises to materialize, encouraging listeners to reject doubt and stand firmly on God’s infallible Word.
SPEAKER 01 :
Welcome to Victorious Faith. We believe you will be blessed, encouraged, and receive fresh faith to begin your day as you listen to today’s message with international missionary and Bible teacher, Cherry Campbell.
SPEAKER 02 :
Good morning. Welcome to Victorious Faith. I am Cherry Campbell. This morning we are going to continue and conclude our study in lesson number 12 in a class that I taught called The Kingdom of God. And this lesson number 12 is a summary of the spiritual law of faith, which I preached in the Pacific Islands of Micronesia. So join me now in our live service for the conclusion of lesson number 12, a summary of the spiritual law of faith. Romans 4, verse 17. As it is written, I have made you a father of many nations. He is our father, that’s Abraham, in the sight of God, in whom he believed. The God who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were. Or you can say calls things that you don’t see as though it already existed. That’s how he created light. He said light that did not exist and it became. Now, the word call, I want to mention that word call. Well, of course, it’s like saying, Amy, will you please come here? Amy, I’m calling. I’m calling for Amy and she comes. But that word is actually in the Greek a legal word used in court. It can literally be translated summons. You know, when a court issues a written document to you and says, on March 24th, you must appear in court at 10 o’clock in the morning. It’s a legal command to come and appear. That’s a summons. This word is the same word. It is a legal word. It’s a legal command that when you command something to come and appear, it must appear. You know, if you get that summons to go to court and you don’t show up, the police can come arrest you. You have to obey. Well, that’s the same word. It’s a legal command and whatever you summons has to obey you. So then you call the thing that you do want. You need and you say, you come and appear right now. I give you a summons and you must come now in Jesus’ name. So I call $100 to come to me now in Jesus’ name. I call healing to come now in Jesus’ name. I call wisdom to come. I need wisdom right now. I need some answers. Come now. I call peace to come into this house. I call peace to come into this situation and I rebuke confusion. Amen. So what you’re doing is you are commanding and rebuking the thing you don’t want. You get out. Go. Be cast into the sea. Sickness, be gone. And then you call, summons what you want. Healing, come. Lack and needs, be gone. Go. Be removed in the name of Jesus. Be cast in the sea. $100, come. $500, come. Be specific. Answers, wisdom, come now in Jesus’ name. So you are commanding to go what you don’t want. Get out of my life, you leave. And you’re calling to come in the things that you do want. The money, the healing, the answers, the wisdom, the peace, the strength. Whatever it is you’re needing, you call it to come now. And you give it that legal command. It’s the authority of your words. We are created in the image of God. God spoke and it was created. And he said, I create you in my image. What you say will be brought to pass. Amen. So let’s go back to Mark 11. And I’m just going to finish this up in a few minutes. It says in Mark 11, 23, I tell you the truth. If anyone says to this mountain, go, poverty, go, lack, go, sickness, go. Throw yourself in the sea. And he does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Does not doubt. I want us to quickly go to James 1. And I’ll show you what is doubt. As we know, doubt is questioning. Doubt is questions. Doubt is wondering. The power of faith is when we don’t doubt. Doubt stops faith. Doubt stops faith. James 1, verse 6 says, But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt. Because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. Read verse 8. He is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does. Double-minded. Do you notice in the English words that the word double and doubt are very closely related? D-O-U-B. Doubt comes from the word double. Double comes from the word duo, D-U-O, which means two. Doubt comes from double. Double comes from two. Doubt, the definition right here is in verse 8. The one who doubts is double-minded. Double-minded. What is doubt? Doubt is being double-minded. What does that mean? It means two thoughts that are contradicting. And we see the picture in verse 6 like a wave of the sea. What does a wave do? A wave goes up and then it goes down. It goes up and then it goes down. To waver, the King James actually says, he who wavers means go back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. That’s wavering. Okay? How do we do that? Lord, I ask you for $100. You know I need $100? I ask, I believe, I receive. And then you go outside and say, what am I going to do? Where am I going to get it? You come down. You’ve questioned. You go up. Lord, I trust you. I believe in you. And then you go talk to your friends. What am I going to do? What am I going to do? Where can I get the money? How are we going to get this? Are you believing for healing? Lord, I believe I receive healing today in Jesus’ name. And then you go out and, oh, my back is just killing me. You talk to your friend, your family. I just feel so terrible today. I just feel really weak, you know. And you go back and say, Lord, I believe I’m healed. But then you go out and then you say, I feel so weak. I feel so bad. Oh, I feel so sick. You know, my foot is really hurting me bad today. That’s wavering. Up. And down. Up. And down. I believe I receive it. What am I going to do? I believe I receive it. Where is it? I believe I receive it. I don’t feel any better. That’s doubting. You’ve got to remove the second thought. The thought is, where is it going to come from? How am I going to get it? When is it going to come? When am I going to get it? You take those thoughts out and you refuse to think on them. You just take authority over your mind, a characteristic of spiritual growth. You rule your thoughts. And any time the devil comes in, where are you going to get it? Where are you going to get it? What are you going to do now? What are you going to do now? What are you going to do now? You just say, shut up, devil, in Jesus’ name. It’s not my problem. It’s God’s, and I trust him. I don’t have to know where it’s coming from. I don’t have to know how I’m going to get it. I don’t have to know when. All those things are his responsibility. I have only one responsibility, and this is my responsibility that I believe and I don’t doubt. I believe and I don’t doubt. So anytime the questions come, you know, we try to figure it out. You know, in Proverbs 3 it says, Don’t lean to your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths. Don’t try to figure out the answer. Don’t try to figure out when is it going to happen, when am I going to feel better, how is it going to work. Leave those questions alone. Just say, Lord, I don’t know how, I don’t know when, I don’t know who, but that doesn’t matter to me. I believe your word. I believe one thing. I believe your word says I’m healed. That’s all I believe. I just hold on to that. Hold on. Fight the good fight of faith is hold on to the promise that God gave you. I don’t know why I’m not feeling better and I’m not thinking about how I feel. Right now I’m holding on to this. I believe I’m healed. I believe I’m healed. He carried my diseases. He sent forth His Word and healed me. He is the Lord who heals me. And this one thing is what I meditate on. And this is what I hold on to. You’re my healer, God. I believe it. You’re my provider. I don’t know where the money is going to come from. I’m not going to think about where the money is going to come from. But I know one thing. You are my provider. You will not fail me. And I have it in Jesus’ name. Amen. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. If you believe and you don’t doubt, don’t waver back and forth, up and down. When am I going to get it? Where am I going to get it? Don’t ask those questions. Just stay focused on what God said. God promised and he will not fail. He will not fail. If you don’t waver, he will not fail. And you wait. Yes, we have to stand firm. That’s part of the fight of faith. You stand and having done all the sand, stand and keep standing. And for some people, you stand days, weeks, months, or even years. Abraham waited 25 years for Isaac. depending on what the promise is. There were things the Lord promised me when I was a child. I’m still waiting for them. I’m still waiting. But every day I get up, maybe today. It could be today. I’m still expecting. Lord, I thank you. You said it. It’s coming to me. I have it. And the sun sets. It gets dark. Don’t get discouraged. Just say, maybe tomorrow. Just say, if it’s not today, then it can be tomorrow. I’m not going to get discouraged. You’ve got to encourage yourself in the Lord. And you do it by staying in the Word, remembering His promises day in and day out. Day out and day in. In the morning, in the noon, in the night, and in the night, morning and noon. You just stay in the promise and you say, Lord, it’s happening for me. Because you said it. You are God. You cannot fail. Your word will not fail. Heaven and earth will pass away. But your word will never pass away. And it will be accomplished if I don’t quit and give up. And when you stand like that, some of these things, healing can come right away. Money can come right away. Other things that come through the process of life, you know, fulfilling your calling. It might take some time. It might take some years. But it will happen if you don’t give up. It will happen. You will receive it. Amen? Amen. Say, I will receive everything the Lord has promised to me. Amen. I will believe. I do believe. Your word, O Lord. And I do not doubt in my heart. I believe I receive it right now. You are my provider. I believe I receive all my needs are met right now. You are my healer. I believe I receive healing and strength in my body. You are my wisdom. I believe I receive answers and solutions to every question I have. Thank you for leading me and guiding me. I will believe and not doubt. I will encourage myself in you, Lord. I will continually give you praise. Because I know you are faithful. Amen. Amen. Praise the Lord.
