SPEAKER 04 :
Welcome to Calda Freedom. Praying that our Lord, who loves you so dearly, will speak blessings and comfort to your heart today. Whatever situation you are in, He’s there for you. He is your hiding place, and He will protect you from anything that is trying to bring you harm. So remember that. You are covered. You are truly covered. Well, I’m in the studio today. When I walked into the pavilion with Kimberly, the pavilion towers, and we’re on the 12th floor inside. And I heard that alarm and Kimberly went up and said, I think the elevators are not working. And I said, okay, let’s do an encore show because I have been, I have walked up those 12 floors. In fact, I did it with Mocha and I knew I wouldn’t be able to make it before the program yesterday. So Kimberly, I started going leaving and you were going up the stairs. And I said, okay, God bless you. Have a great program.
SPEAKER 02 :
So that was it. Well, you know… I was pretty discombobulated. You’ve got the sirens going off and that does affect my ears and even what I’m able to comprehend in a conversation. And so you and I were conversing and I’m not sure that it soaked in at all. I really thought you would follow me as soon as… The alarm was off. I thought you would follow me up the stairs. Not up the stairs, but up in the elevator and that you would be here. And that’s just what I had in my head. Isn’t that funny?
SPEAKER 04 :
You know what? The Lord wanted me to find a place, and I did. I found a nice little seating area on a patio of the next tower building. next to this one and a cover and shade and this little bird the entire time you were on the radio kimberly this little bird was singing me a serenade it was a little finch we heard it when we were walking in and it was still singing when i came out it’s beautiful it was so i was enjoying my time friend if you’ve got this schedule going and you’ve got to be here or you got to be there ah Just chill. Take time to breathe. That’s right. Because maybe that’s what the Lord wants you to do. Just take a few moments out. And I knew that you covered the program. You do so well, Kimberly.
SPEAKER 02 :
Thank you. Thank you to the listeners and your patience with me as I went unscripted. That was that was a pleasure, though. I really felt like there was a presence with me in the studio. And that’s a Holy Spirit. That is Jesus with us. I’m so grateful. Grateful for our Lord.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yes, that’s right. Oh, praise God. Well, Trump was negotiating today in the Middle East with countries that the U.S. has not reached out to for years. And with the Arabs from not only Saudi Arabia, but Qatar today. And this is the country when they heard when the leader of Qatar and you were mentioning, Kimberly, He’s like five inches taller than President Trump, who is six foot three. So he’s up there in the atmosphere.
SPEAKER 03 :
Very tall.
SPEAKER 04 :
And he said, well, if there’s anything we can do, President Trump. And he says, well, you know, Boeing has been promising an Air Force One for 10 years and has not met their contract. And he said, well, we’ve got a Boeing. We are happy to give the United States as a gift. Oh, okay. We’ll take that. What a great gift. And so they were just having a wonderful time. President Trump brought the whole cabinet because there are some, even like Pete Hegseth, who are not trained in this type of negotiating. He’s a wonderful defense secretary, but they need to be trained in some of these atmospheres of foreign countries. And I’m so glad he was there and and other cabinet members and just learning the ropes of being in a national or international relationship with other countries. It’s amazing.
SPEAKER 02 :
We’re blessed to have a president that has so many connections and he’s got so much favor on his life and people really respect him. It’s wonderful that he can go to these different countries and be respected there and meet and negotiate with So well. We’re very, very blessed. Yes.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yesterday, they were riding horses, beautiful Arabian horses to welcome him. And today they were on camels. And Kimberly, you said, and that is not a comfortable ride. It’s not. It’s not a smooth ride on a camel. How long was your ride when you were in Israel?
SPEAKER 02 :
Oh, I don’t think it was much more than 20 minutes, maybe. Yeah. Half hour. Half hour at the most. Okay. Yeah, it didn’t last very long, but that was probably good. Matthew and I were on the same camel, and that made me very nervous because he doesn’t have the same balance that I have. So when you get off, the camel kneels down with their front knees first, so the rear ends up in the air. And Matthew was behind me, and I was like, okay, you are going to have to lean back. Don’t go tumbling over me, over the front of the camel as we dismount. Yeah, it was a sight. And there was a man that was leading the camel or trying to help us dismount. So he was leading the camel to kneel and getting the camel in position for us to dismount. And he saw the potential of Matthew really coming forward. And he just put both hands up and caught Matthew. I’m really grateful. I mean, I was smashed in between, but not smashed because he caught Matthew. You’re going to make me laugh through this whole program. Oh, I’m sorry. I guess your imagination is really running right now.
SPEAKER 04 :
It really is. It’s wild. Oh, well, if you would like to hear some previous programs, you can go to freedomstreet.org and click on radio shows. Or if you’d like materials, you can go to the resource place and actually order power packs and that kind of thing. Also, you can get an app, download an app, a KLTT app at 670kltt.com. And you can scroll down and oh, so many programs, great programs like David Jeremiah, who was on just previous to this program at one o’clock. And you can listen to that day or night, which is, Kimberly, that is remarkable.
SPEAKER 02 :
And you really don’t have to download an app. You can just go to their website at 670-KLTT. And that is a great way. That’s how I get to listen live from Oklahoma when I am not on the program. I just go right to that website.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yes, and some people say, well, I can’t listen on the radio at 1 o’clock. Well, do exactly what Kimberly does. You have a phone with you at all times, and you can just go 670KLTT.com, and it’ll get you right there. Yes. Wow, that is amazing, Kimberly.
SPEAKER 02 :
It’s fun. We enjoy our technology. Can’t live with it, can’t live without it at this point.
SPEAKER 04 :
And you just showed me this wonderful little tablet. Tablet, yeah. It’s flat. It’s beautiful. It’s like an eight and a half by 11. And it is remarkable. That’s what it’s called. Oh, that’s right. That’s the name of it. Remarkable. Yes. Remarkable. Made by men and women in Norway.
SPEAKER 02 :
And it’s engineered to keep you creative and to do work without ever seeing any pop ups on it. Yes.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yes. On her screen, she takes a very precise pen that comes with it, which is very costly. If you have earbuds and your earbuds cost about $100, then this little pen is more than that. And she takes this little pen and she makes a little circle on the monitor of the tablet. And if she keeps her little point there, it makes it perfect.
SPEAKER 02 :
A perfect circle. A perfect triangle. A perfect square. So I can make the wobbly ones, but it perfects it then. It perfects it. It’s really fun. Amazing. Now she wants another one in color. No, I didn’t say that. I said I did not want another one in color. I’m happy with my black and white one.
SPEAKER 04 :
But they have now come out with the colors.
SPEAKER 02 :
Yeah, they did. That is amazing.
SPEAKER 04 :
Oh, we can’t keep up with it, especially older people like me. It’s just mind-boggling, Kimberly. Now, younger minds, they can really transition immediately into new things.
SPEAKER 02 :
You know, I’m amazed by that, that the minds of this generation are just, they really easily catch on to that. And you and I were talking about how The there are teachers, there are so many people who are concerned about this generation coming up, being being so dependent on A.I. And, you know, these these different programs that just you don’t have to know how to spell. You really just don’t have to know there’s autocorrect. So so. That is a concern because the students of today don’t have the same, maybe the same giftings, the same abilities. Yeah. I try to be careful how I word that. Techniques. Yeah. Because I really believe that what they do have is a blessing. What they do have is a dependence on a source. I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about it and praying about it because it broke my heart to see the difference between my homeschooled kids and the kids in the public school when Sarah decided to go to public school. And she felt like her education there was just cheapened. She didn’t feel like she was really getting what she got when she was in middle school and junior high. So her high school years were really difficult for her because she wanted a better quality of education in her opinion. But what we both saw is that the generation now that is leaning on a source, which is AI or all of these programs and all of these apps that have the autocorrect, and they can do sentence structure for you automatically. So you don’t have to know your sentence structure. Um, what we see is they’re reliant on this source and father, God is able to just turn those hearts in a moment’s time and make them reliant on him. You know, and I was very reliant on myself. I had memorized a lot and I had really worked my brain to be able to compute and solve equations. And it wasn’t just algebra. It went on to trigonometry, calculus, analytical geometry. Those higher functions, they’re considered higher. Again, I want to be careful how I say that. I was relying on myself and my own brain, my own computer to do all of that. Yes. which is not a bad thing. That was just my generation’s way of doing it. Now there are programs out there, and right at the touch of your fingertips, right there, you are able to use calculators and have all of that figured out for you. That’s not necessarily a bad thing. I can see how God will exploit even a dependent heart and make people hungry for him and realize, oh, he’s the source we’re actually hungry for.
SPEAKER 04 :
That’s right.
SPEAKER 02 :
So we don’t have to be grieving a loss. We can be excited about a potential gain and believing for that gain. It’s looking at things in a good perspective instead of thinking that it’s bad. It’s like that glass is always half full, not half empty.
SPEAKER 04 :
Amen. That’s right. Yeah, I get every once in a while when I’m working like on the Express newsletter or some other things, a co-pilot pops up to complete my sentence or to help me with the sentence structure. And I say, no, thank you. I don’t need you right now. And I just, you know, delete. I I’m feeling like in the future we’re going to use that. We’re going to lose that individual creativity that God wants to give us by the by Holy Spirit. And we’re just going to be kind of like ticky tack boxes with all the kind of same old, same old, same old going on.
SPEAKER 02 :
I think that’s what some are worried about, and that’s why there’s a grieving going on. You know, teachers that are quitting their jobs because they don’t like having to lean on all the AI in the classroom. Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER 04 :
You were telling me that when Sarah went to the high school, and she had 3,000 in her high school.
SPEAKER 02 :
Yeah, it was 5,000.
SPEAKER 04 :
Or 5,000 at the end.
SPEAKER 02 :
Just a huge high school. Whoa.
SPEAKER 04 :
Now, they learned through hard copy or books when you were teaching them, or at least paper.
SPEAKER 02 :
And all of our homeschool classes that we went to, and they had classes. We went to classes with other students and other kids. They all used books and they all would highlight pages and they learned to study from books. But when Sarah went to the public school, they were given a tablet and she never brought a book home. Everything was on that tablet. 5,000 tablets. Yeah. Yeah. Wow. Yeah. And that was not just the high school program. And I’m sure it’s the same here. I would assume it’s the same in Colorado. It’s not just the high school program. It’s the junior high. It’s the middle school. And now in Oklahoma, anyway, the elementary schoolers also have those tablets. Yeah. So it was such a big adjustment for Sarah. She was no longer bringing books home and studying out of books. She was trying to do this with technology and the tablets were faulty. You know, they they didn’t always stay charged. And so she couldn’t always complete her her assignment. Sometimes it wasn’t capable of charging any more dependent on a machine rather than your own.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yeah.
SPEAKER 02 :
So it is interesting and I can see how people would be worried about it. But I, I just want to be real careful to always know the truth is we know the truth. We know his name. The truth is he is the author and the finisher of this story called life. And he knows what he’s doing and he can exploit anything that we might come up with as human beings. He can exploit it for the good of his story and for the benefit of his people. And I’m believing that with this generation.
SPEAKER 04 :
I am so rejoicing today because, friend, as you’re reading the Bible through me, you’re realizing that this Bible is up to date in everything that you read. It is never void. It never is empty. It is up to date. Yes. Do you realize that? This thing that was written, and we’re reading through the Psalms right now. King David is writing beautiful chapters. And also, we’re reading in the New Testament things that… eye has not seen nor ear heard nor has it entered into the heart of man what god has prepared for those who love him and king david here this is our memory for the memory verse for this week psalm 35 27 and 28 and king david is saying let them shout for joy and rejoice who favor my vindication david was loved by the people but his personal family life was a mess It was an absolute mess. And he was, I guess, if you wanted great fathers, he was a poor father in raising his children in the things of the Lord. And he’s saying here, let the people continually say, the Lord be magnified who delights in the prosperity of his servant. He’s saying, the Lord is delighted with me, even though he was not doing things maybe the way the Lord wanted him to do. But the Lord was blessing him with favor, Kimberly, blessing him beyond measure, and then absolutely promising him prosperity.
SPEAKER 02 :
Yes. And that is our God. His justice and his way of salvation is so much different than what we consider. Our paths are messy. You’re talking about David. What a messy path. And if you want to say messy, you could also say dirty. It’s a dirty path.
SPEAKER 03 :
Mm hmm.
SPEAKER 02 :
You know, so his feet got really dirty on that path. But Jesus is the one who offers to wash our feet in the spirit realm. When he, when he took that towel around his waist at the Passover meal, the last one that he had with his disciples and he washed the feet of all those disciples, it was every personality. It was every journey that they had been on up until that point. including Judas. These are dirty paths. So even our own dirty paths in this life are welcome to just find our feet going straight to him and say, Jesus, I need you to wash my feet. This is the way that we find ourselves being with Jesus, not just in him. And you and I love to say in him, we live and move and have our being. Well, Jesus is the one who made that possible. Because of his work and what he did in coming to this earth, sacrificially surrendering his life all the way to the cross because of what he has done. We are in him. We are now forgiven. He said it is finished and that forgiveness is finished. There is grace for all people. He didn’t say, Father, forgive them. They don’t know what they’re doing to just one people group. He said that to all people groups. That was to cover us as human beings. Yes. And so his heart for us, and I had started talking about that yesterday, what his heart is, how much he loves us is to come to us with dirty feet. When we have the dirtiest feet you could possibly imagine from a journey in our lifetime that really didn’t look, you know, we look back and we go, Ooh, I, I made some mistakes. Yeah.
SPEAKER 04 :
And yet, there are some who, and maybe if you’re listening today, you may be one of them that says, oh, my issue is so small, I don’t want Jesus to get involved with it. I don’t want him to wash my dirty dishes. My dirty mess, my dirty whatever it is, friend, he he is he was created and given. No, he wasn’t created. He was given a body to come down to earth to show you that he is involved in every little thing that you are involved with. That’s right.
SPEAKER 03 :
So feel free.
SPEAKER 04 :
He cares. Unlike Peter, who argued with Jesus and said, if you do not let me. Oh, and Jesus told him, if you do not let me wash you, you have no part in me. Because Peter was protesting. Oh, Lord, I can’t let you wash my feet.
SPEAKER 02 :
Right. And so that’s the translation that we read most often that you have no part in me. Jesus made the way for us to be in him. So we are in him. The word there in the Greek is actually the word for with. So it would have been better to say you have no part with me. You’re not really walking with me if you don’t let me wash your feet. If you don’t come to me with your dirty feet and want to be with me. when your feet are dirty or when they’re clean. If you don’t want to be with me in either situation, then I can’t make that choice for you. I’m not going to force you to be with me. That’s your choice. Jesus is pointing out here that he has accomplished what needed to be done to be found in him. Now we are the ones who choose whether we will be with him.
SPEAKER 04 :
This as we were in the studio today, I thought I had a little sticker in my foot and I said, wow, this is really uncomfortable because I had been clipping and shaping all of the hedges that I have around the house this morning. And there are some stickers around. And I thought, maybe I’ve got a sticker in the tennis shoe or something. So you’re coming around the desk here in the studio to check it out. And you tell me to take my shoe off. I really didn’t even want to take my shoe off in front of you because I thought, ooh, it might be smelly by now. They are a very personal thing, Kimberly, even to a daughter or a son and to let someone like our Lord, our savior and Lord do that. I just, I can imagine the attitudes around the whole table of the 12.
SPEAKER 02 :
But he is so approachable and that is his heart. It’s gentle and humble, so approachable. that we can feel very comfortable in giving him the very worst, the bottom and the lowest of the low, the bottom part of our life. And not even worry whether or not it smells. He’s the one who created these bodies. Does he care? Does he care if it smells?
SPEAKER 04 :
No, being comfortable. That’s something that some of us, it’s so foreign to us to really be comfortable in life. I remember yesterday when President Trump met with the leader of, I believe it was Saudi Arabia, the first day, yes. And Elon Musk came into the room. And President Trump is so comfortable with the richest man in the world. When Elon came up to him, he just clapped him on the back as if to say welcome. And here was this huge entourage from Saudi Arabia. They were comfortable in that room with all these foreigners.
SPEAKER 03 :
Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER 04 :
We need to be so comfortable with our Savior and Lord, Kimberly, that nothing will separate us from him.
SPEAKER 02 :
Nothing. And know that he is not going to be repulsed at anything he created at all. He’s not repulsed. And you’re not hiding anything from him. You know, our feet are not hidden. He made them. He created them. And that goes for any thought, any action, any step we’ve taken in life, in our journey. None of it is hidden from him. He knows it all already. It’s only us that is uncomfortable in talking about it or in showing him or revealing, but we don’t have to be. That’s where we get to make the choice to be with him, to bring our dirty feet to him. and, and bring those parts of our journey and let, let our hearts be attached to him the way his is attached to us. Be with him. And you know, that doesn’t mean that you have to spend a whole lot of time in repentance, a whole lot of time in prayer. He knows he created us for this realm and we have a lot of distraction here. And it’s when we take that one moment, just one moment to look up and say, oh, I really see who you are right now. And I thank you. Thank you for forgiving me. Thank you for covering me. Thank you for washing my feet. Thank you for cleansing me. Thank you for your righteousness. That I don’t have to work up a righteousness of my own. It’s impossible. Thank you for yours that you are lending to me your robes of righteousness that you cover me with.
SPEAKER 04 :
And I don’t have to be punished for all the sins that I’ve committed because you took my sin on your body on the cross.
SPEAKER 02 :
Yes.
SPEAKER 04 :
So all that I do, and this is listener. Remember this. All you do is you go before him believing that he is your savior and Lord and he will cover you with his protection and his presence.
SPEAKER 02 :
Yes. And that doesn’t take much time. We took about a minute right here. You can do that. any moment, even if it’s a couple weeks later, just give him a moment and know that he is so delighted that you took a moment away from all the distraction of this world to connect with him. His heart is just beating fast because he’s so in love with you today.
SPEAKER 04 :
He truly is. Oh, this has been so good. I’m glad we could come up in the studio today. I don’t know if that alarm was meant to bring us into a situation where we can both be involved. And yet he had you for a special message yesterday, and I’m so grateful.
SPEAKER 02 :
Yes, and he had you for a special time of rest. So we both just decided to accept it and be with him in those moments. And maybe tomorrow we’ll be able to talk more about his righteousness and what kind of a gift that really is, his heart toward us and how much he loves us. right here on our messy, dirty journeys.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yes. Remember, he’s the glory and the lifter of your head, my friend. Read a little bit more about King David in 2 Samuel 15 and see what he had to overcome. God bless you and keep you and take joy.
