Force can be a weapon, but it could be compliance, policy, unpredictable and excessive taxation, fear, coercion, government-induced inflation. the agenda of the World Economic Forum that’s played out at the United Nations, but also played out with this Colorado governor, this Colorado legislature, and we also are seeing that on the local and county levels as well. So that’s why we have to shed light on all of this that is going on. Our word of the day is potentate, and it is spelled P-O-T-E-N-T-A-T-E, and it is a noun. It’s one who has the power and position to rule over others, a monarch, one who dominates or leads a group or endeavor. and one who is potent, one who possesses great power or sway, a prince, sovereign, or monarch. And with that, it may be looking like the Biden administration. They were basically potentates. This is going to be super interesting to see what is happening regarding Obama controlling Biden and that administration. So the headlines are pretty interesting. So this is going to be a stay tuned on this. But your challenge is to use the word potentate, P-O-T-E-N-T-A-T-E in a sentence today. Our quote, I was looking for perseverance quotes, and I found a really good one by Vincent Van Gogh. And of course, I love his paintings, but he had a troubled life. But great quotes as well. And that happens in life. But Van Gogh was born into a upper middle class family. He was born in 1853. He died in 1890. And he was a Dutch post-Impressionist painter who was among the most famous and influential painters in the history of Western art. In just over a decade, he created approximately 2,100 artworks, including around 860 oil paintings. That’s amazing. And most of them in the last two years of his life. And during his lifetime, only one of his paintings, The Red Vineyard, was sold. And as I said earlier, he was born into an upper class family and he drew as a child and was serious, quiet and thoughtful, but showed signs of mental instability. As a young man, he worked as an art dealer, often traveling, but became depressed after he transferred to London. He turned to religion and spent time as a missionary in southern Belgium. Later, he drifted into ill health and solitude. And this is the quote that I think it’s very appropriate for perseverance. He said this, he said, For great things do not just happen by impulse, but are a succession of small things that are linked together. That’s why every day when I say strive for excellence, if you do this day by day, what will happen is these small things will become big things. And again, that’s the quote by Vincent Van Gogh. Several headlines I wanted to go through. is, first of all, this is from Fox News. A Doctor Who actress admits she had Trump derangement syndrome before the Gaza peace deal. And so I think this is a pretty big deal. And I was talking with someone just yesterday, a young person, and said this is really difficult for the radical activist left to continue with this no kings narrative when that’s all about Trump derangement syndrome. And here he said, I don’t know many kings that actually are brokering peace deals. And I thought that was a very interesting point. But this says British actress Frances Barber conceded Monday that she changed her view on President Donald Trump. following his role in brokering a peace deal between Israel and Hamas earlier this week. She said, I had TDS and I’m now eating my words. She wrote on X on Monday, reposting a photo showing a thank you message to Trump written on a Tel Aviv beach. So that’s huge. Next thing, yesterday, President Trump awarded Charlie Kirk posthumously the Medal of Freedom, which is the highest medal that can the highest honor for a civilian. And of course, the Medal of Honor is the highest award for a military officer. um, person and, um, that this is a good time to mention the American, um, the center for American values located in Pueblo. And I’d highly recommend you check, check them out. They are nonpolitical, nonpartisan, but focused on these foundational principles of honor, integrity and patriotism. And so in a this is from let’s see, this is from Newsmax said in a poignant and deeply personal ceremony in the White House Rose Garden on Tuesday yesterday. President Donald Trump posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom to conservative leader and Turning Point USA co-founder Charlie Kirk on what would have been his 32nd birthday. After receiving the medal from the president, Erica Kirk, Charlie’s widow, delivered a heartfelt tribute that blended grief with gratitude, transforming the ceremony into a celebration of both her husband’s life and his unwavering faith in the ideals of liberty. She said, today we are gathered not only to celebrate Charlie’s birthday, but to honor a truth that he gave his entire life to defend, and that’s freedom. Her voice was steady but reverent. And speaking of turning point, this is absolutely brilliant. If you have not seen this yet, the NFL… They have decided that they’re going to have a Latin rapper, Bad Bunny, be the halftime entertainment for the Super Bowl. And I did a little bit of research on it, and apparently he had done an album with, now I’m dating myself, had done a song. One of them was I Like It with Cardi B, it was Bad Bunny, and J Balvin. And I don’t know, obviously, much about that. And Cardi B, I’ve just heard from different people. They said she does some pretty nasty stuff. So I thought, okay, let’s just take a look at this. I thought I’m going to look up some lyrics. And so one of the big hits by Bad Bunny was I Like It. So I looked up the lyrics, and it uses the B word, and it uses the N word, and it’s focused totally on… jewelry and diamonds and furs and all kinds of things like that. But I thought it was just really interesting to use the B word and the N word. And again, I find that so crazy that if you are of a certain skin color, you can use the N word. And if you’re not of that skin color, you can’t use it. I feel that’s racist. But anyway, these are not songs that celebrate the human spirit. But yet the NFL has decided that this guy’s going to be the halftime entertainment. And I don’t really watch the halftime entertainment much. I think last year they said that there was some satanic, maybe not even overtones, maybe it was not even subtle. And so this is crazy that the NFL, and of course we always hear about all the advertisers and how much money they’re spending on their ads and advertising. Well… Turning Point has come out and said that they are going they have announced this was USA Today. Gosh, this was five days ago. So you’ve all probably heard this. But anyway, they have announced their All-American halftime show on Super Bowl Sunday. And so they’re going to have a live stream of this All-American halftime show. And this is absolutely brilliant. This is so creative. And that is what’s so great about the American idea is creativity and competition. So just think about this. Probably at least half of the audience for the NFL Super Bowl halftime is not going to be watching. How’s that going to work out with the advertisers? This is going to be so interesting to watch. So stay tuned on that. Let’s see, what else is I going to mention? I think that’s it. So more on the local level. First of all, go to my website, kimmonson.com. I just am working to provide you a tool with all of the information that so that you know what you’re really voting about, and took positions on both the statewide issues regarding, I have this in air quotes, healthy school meals for all children, and what it is, it’s a tax, really an in the tax to tax people that make over $300,000 or more. Bear in mind that ultimately, these programs will be unsustainable without more and more tax revenue. So you may think that you’re just soaking the rich right now with this. But in essence, this sets up bureaucracies that will have to be paid for. And when there’s not enough money, you’ll see they’ll be coming for you as well if you’re not making $300,000 or more. So it’s based on envy. That’s never a good policy. And then the other thing is… I have this again in air quotes, vibrant Denver, almost a billion dollars in debt that the people of Denver would have to pay off. There’s five questions on that, and I give the reasoning why a no on that. Additionally, I’ve listed all the county clerk’s phone numbers so that you can contact them and get a hold of any of the candidates that you want to talk with regarding the mayor race, city council, or school board races. And then also from the Colorado Municipal League, they had, it’s not total, but a pretty extensive list of all different questions from different municipalities. There’s some wild stuff on there. It’s clearly not freedom stuff. So check that out. Next thing this Saturday, October 18th at Res Church, 6502 East Crossroads Boulevard in Loveland is the Northern Colorado Republican Governor Forum. Our Colorado Union of Taxpayers report is just about close to being on the Web site. So stay tuned on that. It’s a wonderful analysis of the Colorado state legislators. And then lastly, I attended a Douglas County. Commissioner’s hearing regarding this big sports complex that is being proposed in Douglas County. And I love our kids getting out and getting exercise. I love our kids putting down electronic devices and competing. I love all that. It was really interesting to watch. And I have to learn more. I’m going to learn more about this project. But there were a couple of things that I found troubling. And that is that not everyone that signed up to speak was given the opportunity to speak. And also, Democrat Representative Bob Marshall made a point, there’s some land that used to be part of the DuPont munitions plant, and there’s some concern that there might be some contamination on that land. Apparently, the commissioner said that there’s assurances from CDPHE that everything is okay with the land. But Representative Marshall brought up a point I thought was interesting, and that is that if there’s nothing wrong with it, the developer should indemnify the people of Douglas County in case… The reports are wrong. I just thought that made some sense. So stay tuned. I really I want to stay focused on the issues. There was a lot of personality stuff going on yesterday. I’m concerned about that. But just stay tuned because I want to learn more about that particular project. We are an independent voice, and regarding the voter’s guide, there was no PBIs that influenced me. There was no corporation, no entities that influenced me. I looked at this as what is best for everyday Coloradans, and again, that is my analysis. I am well. And as you and I were texting back and forth on preparation for today, you mentioned you’d like to give us an update on Pano AI. And I think this, isn’t this the surveillance in our forests? Am I remembering that right?
SPEAKER 08 :
Yes, the wildfire detection camera system, Pano AI, is… One of the companies who’s working on the cameras that will technically, as they say, watch for smoke versus dust versus clouds and then have an AI that’s flagging things and has a human in the loop as well who can look at what’s flagged and determine if it’s noise or not. But, yeah, it had come up in the state level. last year and two years prior as well. And those bills did not go through. But Pano is working with independent organizations and companies such as Xcel Energy and I think Aspen Fire Department, Telluride, Tellur County, Boulder, Douglas County now, and onwards. They have cameras now in 10 states. I just saw $100 million in contracts right now. And they say they’re covering 30 million acres between here, British Columbia, and Australia. That is the latest figure that I got off of a speech that the CEO had up in Aspen. But the moderately good news is, whilst I was asking last year during testimony if we can have a public portal for transparency here, That wasn’t being very well heard. However, Washington State and a utility company in Portland, sorry for the dog in the background, both have put up transparency portals, which I just found. And you can sign in and actually see what the cameras are looking at and then what’s being pixelated and what is not being pixelated at that point. So I just dove into that the other day. I’m trying to see if there’s a way to zoom in or what have you. Right now, you just get a general panorama, but they do talk about their incredible Zoom capabilities. And I can’t see that yet on the public portal. That might be for more of the need-to-know users, such as the fire departments or whatever. So I really can’t figure out yet how much detail you can get.

I wonder if they’re going to have that on the transparency.
SPEAKER 08 :
You can see sky, airplanes, things like that, yeah.

This is super interesting. Okay, I guess we’ll just continue to think about that. That is very, very interesting. I’ve got to think more about that, Mike Rollick.

I would say that possibly one of the things, and it’s brought open discussion, but You know, we do have a legislative season coming up, and in the spirit of transparency and AI, I would hope some state legislator can put something together to create more public transparency, to have these portals be mandatory. Things like that would at least be a small start. I’m not comfortable with the cameras in general, but, you know, what do we do to start that process?
SPEAKER 14 :
You know, as I’m thinking about this, there’s part of it I’m saying, I’m thinking, gosh, the idea that we could have anyone looking at this information, I’m like, huh, and how detailed that is. I mean, it’s almost like everybody could spy on everybody else. So I’m a little uncomfortable with that. But then I realized that we’ve got government that basically is spying on all of us through the narrative of wildfires. So I guess right now I like transparency, though transparency is always a good idea. Let’s change over to this other subject that you mentioned, and that is an update regarding the Bat Lab up in Fort Collins.
SPEAKER 08 :
Okay, yeah, this is pretty big stuff. Okay, so we’ve talked about the upcoming bat vivarium for the Indian flying fox bats that will be coming out of Thailand and Bangladesh. This is regarding the established breeding colony of the Jamaican bats. And now I found out that they’re looking to possibly bring in Egyptian fruit bats as well. So… I understand, I think we all understand that there’s probably a million different contracts and grants, awards, sub-awards that go across every year over people’s desks. But this is a big one. It’s September 15th of this year. Colorado CSU Fort Collins got an award for the establishment of a bat resource for infectious disease research. $2.193 million. And what this would do, it would establish a breeding colony of Egyptian fruit bats as a reservoir resource for investigators who study viruses such as Ebola, Sudan, and Marburg. Now, Sudan, I looked into it, is also known as Sosuga virus. This is a Brand new virus discovered in 2012. Egyptian fruit bats at a principal natural reservoir are Marburg virus and Sosuga virus, it says. And it also goes on to say this research will generate primary cell cultures and immortalize cell lines. And they mentioned cytokines and monoclonal antibodies for use in detection. And finally, it says we will perform experimental infection studies to And it says of and with, but I think that’s a typo. Either of or with Ebola viruses, Sosuga virus, and SARS-related coronaviruses. And it goes on. I don’t know if it’s pronounced this way, but B-A-N-A-L 52. It looks like Banal 52 and 236. So right there in black and white. Unlike what we saw with the Indian flying fox, which they just said they would keep healthy breeding colonies there and bring them up to the Rocky Mountain Labs in Hamilton, Montana, they say right here they’re going to perform experimental infection studies, Ebola virus, Hasuga virus, and SARS. What they want to do, SARS-related coronavirus, sorry. They’ll look at infection kinetics, virus distribution, And then a few other things they’re going to look at, proteomic profiles and metabolomic profiles where they look at metabolites. And sorry if I butchered any pronunciations. They want to study the bats during infection, the escalation and the resolution of the immune response. So the escalation is an interesting thing. And if anyone’s out there who knows more about this, please let us know. What does the escalation of an infection mean? Okay. They go on to continue to say your tissues, cells, and the sera from naive and infected bats will be archived in a biobank that will be made available to the research community. And that’s upon virus inactivation. But my question there is, does the research community show up? to CSU Fort Collins, does it get shipped to other places? I’ve seen also sometimes they have online repositories of how the disease actually is and I’ve read things about that being a biosecurity risk as well because then it becomes like some form of public domain. What’s going on here at CSU Fort Collins, the interesting thing here is this award was granted in September 15th of this year but not funded yet. And I know Jody Ernst has been quoted as being quite upset about this, and she’s making some noise. But I would say as an action item, the subcommittees right now, both the House and the Senate Subcommittee on Labor, Health, Human Services, and Education are We don’t have any reps from Colorado that are in either the House or the Senate subcommittee. But still, people might want to reach out to those subcommittees and, you know, and express their their discontent here, their worry. OK.

It’s the House and the Senate subcommittees of Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and then the House also says related agencies as well. But yeah, just to be clear, the public health relevant statement says they will perform experimental infection studies in bats. And we literally have a brand new disease called Sosuga that was discovered in 2012. And they want to do it here.

Well, I do do so much appreciate that. So let’s go over to some of the news headlines. The first thing you had written at Substack under that’s popular rationalism, that there were a lot of people that were a bit concerned that the Bora, who is the CEO of Pfizer, was at the White House photographed next to President Trump. And you said that there is optics and strategy. So break this down for us, Dr. Jack.
SPEAKER 10 :
Yeah, so a lot of people misread why Borla, who’s the CEO of Pfizer, would come in and be celebrated at the White House with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., my friend and someone who I advice on a weekly basis, why they would show up and talk about drug prices in America and Oz was there and so on. And as much as it was bad optics, the focus wasn’t on optics. It also wasn’t on Borla, the individual, although he tried to make it, of course, in the press conference about himself, trying to imply that he had some special relationship with With Oz, who directs PMS, saying that it was it was his that Oz was the mastermind of all of this. And in reality, Oz was probably the guy that called him and said, you know, President Trump wants you there. We are going to insist that you no longer drop. drug prices for overseas markets so that socialists paid less for drugs that were developed using American dollars and that you’re not going to fund socialism on the back of the U.S. economy, basically. Why do we spend so much more money balancing the sheets when Pfizer is giving discounts and others are giving discounts to countries whose politics lead inevitably to communism and tyranny? So if you look behind the headlines of Borla and the detractors of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. saying he’s a sellout and these kinds of things, it’s absolutely not true. And this was just the first. Other drug companies have been called to mass, so to speak, since then as well. So President Trump actually signed an executive order on this matter. It’s Executive Order 14297. titled Delivering Most Favored Nation Prescription Drug Pricing to American Patients. So now there’s the other contingent of health freedom groups that say, well, we don’t want their pharmaceutical drugs to begin with. But the fact is that message is probably not going to get to the elderly and other people who feel that their health depends on these pharmaceutical products. In some cases, blood pressure can be a very serious thing. It can lead to stroke and heart attacks and so on. There are drugs that keep people going because they don’t know the natural alternatives or they don’t know other health influence factors, as we call them. So, yeah, I think it’s a decent event. It’s a decent development. So I gave it some coverage when I saw people detracting from it. My analysis says, let’s make sense out of it. And that’s what we do at Popular Rationalism.
SPEAKER 14 :
Okay. Well, thanks for breaking that down because I didn’t quite understand this. So I think I’m getting this is that Pfizer has been providing the same drug to countries that are pushing socialism at a cheaper price than what Americans are paying for that. Am I getting that right? Is that what it was?
SPEAKER 10 :
Yeah, that’s exactly correct. Also, Albert Bourla is not off the hook if he did any wrongdoing during COVID, the man, the individual, nor anyone else at Pfizer or Moderna who would publish. Our criticisms remain. They publish their science by press release, not by peer review. They would put out a press release, and their stock would go high, and they would dump half of their stock the next day. This is a strategic pump-and-dump scheme, which is technically illegal, insider trading. So why didn’t they sell it the day before? Right. It’s worth taking a good look at that. Plus the false potential falsification of the efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines claims that they would stop transmission, which we now are not true, which, of course, they tried to bury by saying they never studied that. But, you know, let’s get to let’s see that later. defended in court. So I don’t think people can stay confused very long when they realize there’s a difference between Pfizer, the company, and Borla, the man. And yet Pfizer themselves have a lot to account for. I think it’s nine sessions in a row their stock is going down. I mean, they’re paying dearly for having to be held accountable for some of these, let’s call them games.
SPEAKER 14 :
Dr. Jack, you and I met during COVID. And so we’ve watched history. We’ve been going through history together on this. And boy, when we were in the deep, dark depths of that, it didn’t know what was going to happen. But what I think the dot I want to connect here is that ultimately transparency matters. is going to remedy these problems. So here we are these years later, and we’re going to have the opportunity to look in the back, the rearview mirror and see what happened. And so we’re at a really interesting time in history, Dr. Jack.
SPEAKER 10 :
Oh, we really are. I mean, we now have hundreds of thousands of people that are being paid to find ways to make America healthy again. Not necessarily all by the government either. There are many, many organizations. IPAC is one of them, the Institute for Pure and Applied Knowledge. IPAC-EDU is another. Maha Action, the Maha Institute. These are organizations that are focused on making sure that what we know that’s published in the scientific literature is actually given as due consideration when we make public health policy or when we consider medical policy. As opposed to just cherry-picking the results that your friends want you to use when you make policy to support their vaccination program or something. People decry the antibiotic resistance as if there’s an emergency, but they never tell you the rest of the story, which are non-antibiotic. generic ways of fighting infection. I mean, iodine is one of them. Peroxide is another. And I don’t just mean topical infections. There’s actual medical procedures where you can draw some blood out and put a safe dose of peroxide in the blood, and our bodies produce peroxide to fight infection. So it’s nothing new to human biology. It’s been happening for hundreds of millions of years in mammals. So we’re looking at a transformative period in which what are considered alternatives may go mainstream in medicine, it’s just not going to support this huge behemoth of, I see it as a parasite of allopathic medicine, that is filled with gatekeepers to make sure as much money is made every time someone has a headache.

There’s people that are being fired and there’s a bunch of people, it looks like, being fired at the NIH, the National Institute of Health. So what should we know about that?
SPEAKER 10 :
Well, yeah, well, thanks for asking. We saw this month. agency directors being replaced, but also sub-agency directors across the board. It’s a purge, and it’s for the health of the agency. We want to restore objective science, and a lot of the narrative enforcers have been replaced. If you go down the list of the people who have been replaced, there’s… NIAID director who worked with Anthony Fauci. She inherited Anthony Fauci’s legacy and was collaborating with him. And she steered infectious disease research after COVID-19 started. And there’s another replacement coming for someone who oversaw perinatal and developmental health portfolios. you know, in place for a long time without ever addressing causes of autism, speech delay, you know, learning disabilities, ADHD, and so on. The NIMHD director said, focused on agency-wide equity in health, equity research, and if you know anything about the politics of equity, that really is already built into how we do medical research. You’re supposed to make sure, if you’re doing medical research, that everyone from all walks of life our walks of life are represented. And scientifically, you should restrict, if you say do a study only on men, you should restrict your translation of that at market only to men. And so you really want a representative population. I’m not much for just nitpicking about words, but you can see the kind of the vacuousness of making sure that Everything is equal for everybody, everywhere kind of mentality and what that’s done to society. We’ve talked about that a lot. Nurse-based translational care, you know, nurses are taught, hey, this is what’s coming to market and this is why you’re going to stop doing this and start doing that. And not really taught the science of it because the science often doesn’t support it. It’s just a business decision more so. So the narratives have to be And then the deputy director worked on inter-institute strategic initiatives. So these are some pretty influential people. You are looking at a major, major change where these people have been in positions of power while our health as a nation has tanked. Um, and that’s, you know, part and parcel of what Bobby promised to do. There are people that are giving him pushback. There are people that are losing the keys to the factory. Oh, we can’t really do that. Or they’re lying to him and they’re saying, Oh, we already do all that. You don’t have, you have a new initiative that’s already been tried. You know, this kind of mentality of institutional, um, momentum, the, the, the just sticks in the mud kind of thing. Um, And so we’ll be able to get some new blood in there, get some new people and some people that will shake up what’s going on. And quite often, I think, people that will be willing to relay orders from the secretary or his office to fire people who are causing problems. Because many times these people will stand by people that are under them, such as the former CDC director, who was recently let go, Susan Moneris, because she would refuse to relay orders. the information that someone was going to be put on administrative leave. So, I mean, we have one director, sorry, one secretary of HHS, and his name is Robert F. Kennedy Jr. And he came in with a mission to make sure that he could create an effective Department of Health and Human Services that would help make America healthy again. And we don’t need people that are going to stand in the way.
SPEAKER 14 :
And so where are these people going to land? Do you think, Dr. Jack, these people that are being fired, these high level people that have been at NIH and NIAID, where are they going to land?
SPEAKER 10 :
Well, the FDA director, the CBER director from the FDA, Peter Marks, just got a very cushy job with Eli Lilly. There was a CDC director who oversaw what I call the fraud on the science to try to convince the public that vaccines do not cause autism, Julie Gerberding, who took a job at Merck after regulating them. So I expect these people are going to be – You know, welcome with open arms at pharmaceutical companies. They probably all have golden parachutes and deals on the side, you know, just waiting for them for the greasing of the skids that they did for, you know, cutting of the corners on behalf of pharmaceutical companies. This is their payoff period, I would imagine.
SPEAKER 14 :
Wow. This is such an interesting time, but to make America healthy again. One other thing, I didn’t see the headline on this, but somebody said that they’re going to get rid of pizza and potato chips, I think, in school lunches. I loved pizza and potato chips when I was a kid at school. So what’s going to happen with that? We’ve got just a couple of minutes left.
SPEAKER 10 :
School lunch reform is absolutely essential. It’s actually the entire dietary guidelines at FDA are scheduled for an overhaul. It’s really interesting that you ask about pizza because if you’re within the sound of my voice, I want to tell you something that may change your life. We allow aluminum in carb-rich foods like pizza or pancakes. And on a routine basis, if you eat pancakes on a regular basis, if you don’t look at the label and you make sure it’s aluminum-free, which there’s no required labeling even, if you don’t make your own pancakes with aluminum-free baking powder, you’re eating a toxic dose of aluminum in your pancakes. Infant Formula still has doses that are higher than allowed by Europe. I’m about to, on Popular Rationalism at Substack.com, probably tomorrow, we’ll be running a story on how we have to reform… the allowance of aluminum in baked goods. And if you think about it, I’ve heard, we always hear, if you go on a ketogenic diet, you feel a lot better if you have autoimmunity. If you go on a carnivore diet, it really helps with rheumatoid arthritis. And if you’re cutting carbs, if you go low-carb, then some of these chronic illnesses seem to be less severe. And I believe that it’s due to a reduction of your daily dose of aluminum. Aluminum is used to reliably and routinely induce autoimmunity in animals by feeding it to them or injecting it to them, so I don’t know why it’s in food.

And then I also mentioned that the NFL has announced that the Halftime Entertainment is a Latin rapper named Bad Bunny. I went and looked at some of the lyrics of one of his hit songs, and it does not celebrate the human spirit. This whole cultural war, this music influences so much, and it does not celebrate the human spirit. But what I find so interesting is Turning Point USA has announced that they’re going to have a competing competition halftime show the all-american halftime show which will be streamed during the Super Bowl this is so interesting because I feel there’s some arrogance with the NFL just say you know kind of you know pushing these performers down our our throats that we would never listen to exposing our kids that everybody’s watching the Super Bowl and exposing our kids to different things I looked at the lyrics of one of his hits and it uses the B word, it uses the N word, and again, doesn’t celebrate the human spirit. So the fact there’s going to be competition, stay tuned. I find this super interesting. What is that going to do to the NFL and their advertisers? It’s just fascinating. So be sure and stay tuned. So what should we know? I’ve been a little out of the loop. So what should people know about the Fed and interest rates and mortgage rates?
SPEAKER 07 :
You know, we’re in a little bit of a quiet period right now between Fed meetings. And, you know, there’s discussion of what will happen in the future. Will the Fed continue to lower? You know, it really depends on who’s making the news and who’s putting the headlines out there as to whether they think that will happen or not. But in the meantime, we’ve, you know, I talk to you all the time about the 10-year U.S. Treasury. And today it’s about 401, 402. So it’s the lowest it’s been in a month. And that’s creating opportunity where rates are at a good place, relatively speaking. They’re in the lower sixes, which is a good number for a lot of people. With our office, we’re helping people that – I’m refinancing a guy today who – at a rate of like 7.6, get down to like, you know, sub 6.5. So it’s saving them a ton of money. We’ve been doing that a lot lately for people that have bought a home in the last couple of years that have a rate with a seven in front of it, or even a really high six number. We’re really helping them save a lot of money. And in today’s world, that’s a lot of dollars that can go to something else. We know people are struggling at a certain level. You know, and then on top of that, our values are holding up somewhat, you know, we’re seeing a little bit of dip in values maybe, but on the reverse mortgage side, With the appraisal still holding up, it’s a really good opportunity to help seniors who need access to money.
SPEAKER 14 :
Okay. And it doesn’t cost anything to give you a call and just noodle around where each person, where they are in their lives, because everybody’s different. But it doesn’t cost anything for them to have a consultation with you, right?
SPEAKER 07 :
100%, that’s right. You’re absolutely right. Everyone is different, so everyone has different credit scores, different circumstances, but there’s a lot of people that don’t know they can be helped or are just not aware and are, quite frankly, spending money they don’t necessarily need to be spending that could be going to something else. So it’s always worthwhile to have a conversation.

And in essence, if they’re saving money on their mortgage, that’s like saving after-tax dollars, right? Right.
SPEAKER 07 :
A hundred percent. And imagine if you’re saving, you know, three, $400 a month on your payment, that could be a car payment. You know, someone might need a new vehicle and they can’t, don’t think they can afford one. Well, we can save them on their mortgage and they can turn and put that money into a car payment and solve two problems. Or we all know the rates on credit cards right now are in the mid to upper 20s. and people are carrying a lot of credit card debt, and they can help put that extra money towards that. Or even if they have a low rate on their mortgage and they come and take a new loan just to get rid of all that credit card stuff, overall they could be saving hundreds of dollars a month and making their life easier. So we really can help people alleviate some of the burdens that they have financially just by looking at their numbers.

Kim, is it Wednesday already? Mid-October. October’s half gone. Did you know that?
SPEAKER 14 :
I know. And, in fact, we normally record for the week of Thanksgiving. And Producer Joe said to me yesterday, he said, Kim, be thinking about getting everything organized so that we’re not just totally slammed the week before Thanksgiving as we’re working on that. And I’m like, how could it be October 15th? I don’t know. But it is. But there’s so much going on in our world. And it’s great to catch up with you. And so let’s talk a little bit about a few things. And first of all, Trent, I took a few days away from the studio. And this eminent domain thing, it’s out of control. And this affordable housing thing is out of control. Ended up taking some of the back roads from DIA home. on Wednesday and I’m looking at apartment complex after apartment complex after apartment complex and we continue to hear that there’s not enough dwelling units in America. I’m wondering if they’re trying to build a a individual unit for every man, woman, child in America under the guise of affordable housing and using eminent domain. And one of the headlines that I’ve seen is that in New Jersey, they’re trying to use eminent domain to take a 175-year-old farm for, again, air quotes, affordable housing, which what that is is that’s government subsidized housing. It’s government housing. So what’s your thoughts on this farm in New Jersey?
SPEAKER 09 :
It’s not only the farm in New Jersey. I believe that’s about six months old, right? But this is happening every day somewhere. And it’s really what brought you and I together is that the very concept of individuals owning land does not fly with the globalists. The globalists have their power play on today. And I had a very interesting discussion with J.C. Cole this morning on a rural route. People often ask me, what is Bill Gates’ issue? And people think he’s the largest farmland owner in the United States. They report that he’s the 51st largest owner, but he owns 100% farmland. In other words, he’s tillable. He doesn’t have any rangeland. He doesn’t have timber. He just has tillable land. And so people theorize that. Well, he must be chasing where there’s water because I had a friend contact me this week. There’s a standing offer in certain parts of Kansas where Bill Gates has just a standing offer with people. If land’s available, buy it. If a farmland’s available, same thing in Holt County, Nebraska, where he owns a big chunk of his Nebraska property, which is about 24,000 total acres in Nebraska. And I finally, Kim, figured out what I think he’s doing. and he’s not buying land to get a corner on the market because you can’t get a corner on the market when the federal government owns one in three acres. But what he’s doing is he’s buying land and putting it at an appraised value, appreciated value is a better word, that causes all other land prices because when they do an assessment for your property tax or when somebody else buys property, His and his crony’s influence in the land market scenario puts us to that point that Klaus Schwab told us about years ago, you’ll own nothing and be happy. And to me, this eminent domain for affordable housing is just another step in that process to create something that people, everyday working people, cannot own. It’s going to be owned by the government. You’re going to live in a 15-minute city. And, oh, by the way, the other revelation I’ve had with my friend in New Zealand is Damien Buckley, because all technology is and involves cows and, you know, this, you know, I’m going to put it and not talk about cows, but, you know, your dog fence, your invisible dog fence where you put a collar on a dog and it keeps it on your lawn so it doesn’t run away. Well, we’re doing that now. We’re not. I’m opposed to it because I think the frequencies are harming animals. But we’re now putting collars on cows, and we can manipulate where they graze and do rotational grazing, which is absolutely essential for soil health and plant health and cow health. But I’m beginning to see that this is all just a training ground to put people in what we’re calling a 15-minute city, building this low affordable housing system, so that we can put these 15-minute cities together and keep people confined. I really think it’s that severe.
SPEAKER 14 :
I’m concerned about it, too. And we had our Colorado Union of Taxpayers board meeting the other night, and I want to say thank you to this group. They are amazing. They’re all volunteers. Steve Dorman, Greg Golanski, Russ Haas, Bill Hamill, Rob Knuth, John Nelson, Wendy Warner, Marty Nielsen, Ramey Johnson, Mary Jansen, David Evans, Corey Onozorg, Paula Beard, and Ray Beard. Trent, what… Well, one of the things I brought up, I said, I would really like to, and this is because you and I have all these conversations, I would really like to decouple property taxes from assessed valuations. And then somebody said, well, how are you going to do that? I’m like, I don’t know for sure. But I really think that that’s a great thing for us to try to take on. What do you think about that?
SPEAKER 09 :
Oh, 100% right. And if we do not decouple it, we will not afford to own land.
SPEAKER 14 :
Yeah.
SPEAKER 09 :
That’s the play that’s on it right there. You just went right to the core of the challenge that we have.
SPEAKER 14 :
Okay. Well, we’ve got to go to work on it. Now, there are some states that don’t have property taxes, right? Or isn’t? Did I see a headline? No, that’s not true. It’s not true? Wasn’t Florida? Didn’t DeSantis say something about that? Or am I dreaming that?
SPEAKER 09 :
I guess I can’t speak to Florida. I know that people often reference Texas. And Texas is a very interesting scenario in that they have some of the kinder They have an agricultural exemption, so to speak, which doesn’t exclude them from property tax, but it gives them a great reduced rate. But that is becoming a problem in Texas as well because their residential rates have skyrocketed and continue to outpace any other state in the nation. I mean, Kim, let’s face it. Until we start talking about getting government in line and spending more of what their budget allows them, we’re going to have a problem. It is all about spending at the school. Kelly went to our school board meeting this week. I’ll be going to our county commission meeting next week. They just try to find ways to spend money. It has nothing to do with educating kids.
SPEAKER 14 :
Well, that’s a perfect segue into my voter’s guide, which we published in the newsletter this last weekend. And people can get that at my website at KimMunza.com. There’s a red ribbon at the top. But that’s one of the comments I made is that government is out of its proper role to at the local, the county, the state, and the federal level. And I think people understand we have to have some government and we have to have some taxes, but we are way out of control and we’ve got to get this put back in the box. Or America, what we’re passing on to our next generations is, well, it’s unconscionable. The fact that we would I think in ways I say that we’re living on the fumes of freedom of those that have stepped forward to give us freedom. And we are squandering it right now. And we have a responsibility to get this all put back into the proper box, Trent Luce.
SPEAKER 09 :
Did you come up with that? We’re living on the fumes of freedom?
SPEAKER 14 :
I did. That’s mine.

I know, but I feel like I’m going to give you credit for a period of time, and then nobody will remember where it came from. That is absolutely exactly what is taking place. I love that.

well thank you thank you and um yeah i think we are and just we’re going to go to break but this came in from patty she said florida has no income tax but has hefty property taxes de santa says he wants to move toward eliminating property taxes so i guess i did see that headline so that’s going to be interesting and the only way that all this can happen is to reduce the size of government. But when government gets smaller, the individual gets bigger. We’re going to continue the discussion with Trent Luce, and all of these discussions happen because of all our sponsors. Okay, Trent Luce, let’s jump into another subject that we had kicked around talking about, and that was an update on the Canadian ostrich situation. So what’s happened with that?
SPEAKER 09 :
So there’s been many concerning developments. For those that do not know, there were two positive PCR tests at the Universal Ostrich Farm in December off of dead birds, which is not in any way, shape, or form kosher. I’ll use that word. You cannot get a true scientific report. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency said they were going to euthanize these birds. These ostriches have been used for the past four years to develop antibodies. to capture their antibodies. I found it interesting, Kim, that one ostrich generates 24, the same number of antibodies that it takes 24 chickens to generate. And so these ostriches truly hold a key for the future of humanity and any disease or toxin that we may come across. Canadian Food Inspection Agency has now, for coming on the fourth week, has seized the property. They have these ostriches in their control. The owners cannot get around the ostriches, and the people continue to show up, just concerned citizens about what the Canadian government is doing. They have a whole community there now with food trucks, and they had a ban there, and it’s just turned into this tremendous awareness campaign. But what I wanted to give an update on, and Katie will be joining me tomorrow on the air tomorrow morning, when the Canadian Food Inspection Agency took over, there were 330 ostriches on that farm. With anonymous drone footage that’s been flying in and around where the farm is, they’re only able to account for 220 at this time. There have been reports of dumpsters leaving the property, and this is in direct violation of a stay order that has not been removed from the Canadian Supreme Court. So the concern is that they are slowly killing off these ostriches. And just as a little side note, which is kind of part of what piqued my interest, it is well known that Canadian Food Inspection Agency has been buying CO2 from local CO2 suppliers in and around the farm area edgewood british columbia is where this is taking place i know for a fact they have a a kill pin which they have lined with big bales of hay and it’s pretty clear their plan for killing these is to put them in that pin maybe put a tarp over it maybe not because co2 does not rise it actually goes down and they plan to kill them with co2 The same exact CO2 that we have piping through our communities that will kill people as well. But that’s an update. There’s a tremendous amount of concern about where 100 missing ostriches are.
SPEAKER 14 :
Interesting. So CO2. I want to talk just a little bit about that, because those that are pushing all of these policies for climate change have demonized CO2. And when we talk about CO2 killing people, that seems to play right into their narrative. But CO2 is actually nature’s So it depends on, it’s like anything, the dosages of things. So address that so that people can’t go out and say, oh, Trent Luce says that CO2 kills people, birds, whatever. It can, but clarify that so that we have that.
SPEAKER 09 :
It’s not disputed that the new packing plants that process your animals use CO2 to kill the animals. That’s what the chickens, turkeys, and pigs are doing. Cattle are not doing that. And that’s at a 7%. In the atmosphere, CO2 is at 0.043%. So it’s all about the amount of CO2 you have. And what happens is CO2 absorbs and just displaces oxygen. So the reason these animals die is because you asphyxiate. You basically just cannot get oxygen. And so at 7% you die if you have a rupture of a CO2 pipeline. For the folks in Denver, or excuse me, the Denver formation, which is under Cheyenne, Wyoming, for the folks in Laramie County, Wyoming, you’ve got another threat coming. We’ve talked a lot about the wind turbines, and now last week the Laramie County Commission approved a solar industrial center. That makes no sense whatsoever. But this CO2 that they plan to start running this year, 2025, from Nebraska ethanol plants is going to be put under the ground in Cheyenne, Wyoming. If you live in Cheyenne, Wyoming, you are up close and personal to the point threat danger of CO2 escaping and killing people. And this is not sensationalizing anything. I can get you the emergency manager for Yazoo City, Mississippi, who had 80-some people hospitalized when there was a CO2 pipeline rupture. They didn’t know what CO2 was at that time when it happened four years ago. I mean, they being the emergency responders. CO2 is absolutely a gas of life, and without it, we cannot exist. But with it in the human body at 7% of our atmosphere that we’re breathing, you will die within three minutes.
SPEAKER 14 :
Yeah, and again, I want to make sure, because those that are using climate change as a narrative to push public policy to basically try to control our lives, there’s a big distinction. And you’re talking about, gosh, what is it, about 0.4? 0.043% of the Earth’s atmosphere. Okay, and we can actually get up to 0.1, I think, and everything can really thrive and flourish. Are you talking about 0.7 or are you talking about 7?
SPEAKER 1 :
7%.
SPEAKER 09 :
Okay, so that’s so much more. Not 0.7, 7%.
SPEAKER 14 :
Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER 09 :
That’s what we use in the atmosphere. And by the way, while we’re talking about this and while we continue to have all of this discussion about Canadian ostriches, I just went into the USDA to look up what the USDA, who you know I’m not a fan of, has done to our bird population since October of 2022. We’re now up to 175 million birds that the USDA has euthanized for the very reason they want to euthanize these ostriches. And in the past 30 days… 4 million birds in the United States killed in the name of protecting our trade partners with H5N1. Interesting note about what has been killed by the USDA in the past 30 days is over 50% of the birds in the USDA of the 4 million, so more than 2 million turkeys, have been killed in the last 30 days. Do we have anything coming up that might focus on a turkey in the upcoming days, Kim?
SPEAKER 14 :
Well, and the problem is they are just killing all these birds. They’re killing healthy birds that have antibodies, and so that doesn’t make any sense to do that. So we talked with Dr. James Lyons-Weiler. in hour one or actually it was mike rollick a citizen watchdog in hour one uh regarding this bat lab up at csu uh that they are doing research on they’re bringing in different bats from all over the world and they’re doing studying infectious diseases and so here we have that happening, bringing bats in to study infectious diseases. But then over here on the other side, we’re killing all birds, ostriches, even those with good antibodies. Those things just don’t make sense to me. And is that a dot that’s too far out there that I’m trying to connect?
SPEAKER 09 :
No, not at all. And let’s just use the ostrich situation because it’s a good one. So two birds test positive to a PCR test, which is not accurate. But there were birds that died in December and the first two weeks of January. Since the third week of January, there have been no birds that exhibited any symptoms whatsoever. So to your point, those birds were clearly exposed to a virus, and their immune system propelled them through that, which means… Their antibodies are of tremendous value to anybody that we want to come to eliminate H5N1. There’s the answer for elimination of H5N1. In the United States, we’re doing the same exact thing. We don’t identify the birds that have the natural immunity to withstand H5N1 virus because we just kill them all. We killed the entire flock to the tune of 175 million birds since October of 2022 and 4 million in the last 30 days.
SPEAKER 14 :
So, Trent, it seems to me that this bird flu that they try to scare us all with and that they’re killing these flocks. But if this was really a problem in the bird population, wouldn’t I see dead birds all over the countryside?
SPEAKER 09 :
You would. In fact, you can go find this yourself. Anybody can. They continue to blame migratory fowl as the cause for spreading H5N1. Yet we don’t see dead birds, just like you said. And… The U.S. Fish and Wildlife reported in the spring of 2025, because the majority of the sandhill cranes and their northern migration crossed the Platte River in a very short 50-mile stretch between Kearney and Grand Island, Nebraska, they reported the largest migratory movement of sandhill cranes in recorded history. How is it that we continue to have record numbers of migratory birds, and yet we’re blaming the migratory birds on infecting And if you go look at the data on where the birds are infecting, they’re in the most biosecure facilities. It rarely does happen in some backyard flocks. It rarely happens in backyard flocks. It typically happens in CAFOs, the larger systems that have the best biosecurity you can imagine.
SPEAKER 14 :
Okay. I actually have some listeners that have said to me, yeah, when I say, hmm, that means that the wheels are turning. I’m trying to figure things out. Trent, we’re going to continue the discussion. I’m talking with sixth-generation farmer and rancher Trent Luce about really important issues. affect our food sources. And we have taken for granted affordable and abundant food supplies when we go to the grocery store. And because of public policy, that is under attack. I’m going to play Kim Monson right now and be distracted, so we’ve got to work on our focus. But speaking of resilience, I just learned this this morning, so I’m going to share it. But on October 14th, so nearly today, former U.S. President, this was 1912, October 14th, 1912, former U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt was shot while giving a speech from the bully pulpit and talking about the bully moose, new third party that needs to come to play. While speaking, he said, and no bullet is going to stop me from saying what needs to be said after he’d been shot.
SPEAKER 14 :
Wow.
SPEAKER 09 :
Yeah. I didn’t know that. I didn’t know that either, actually. I can’t believe I did, but I did.
SPEAKER 14 :
And what do you mean I have focus challenges?
SPEAKER 09 :
You said you forgot the word of the day, the potentate word of the day. We’ve got to focus, Kim, because we’re coming at a time of chaos. You’ve got to stay focused.
SPEAKER 14 :
True that. True that. Okay. So last thing that we want to make sure that we talk about, and that is our Save Our Bacon Act. So tell me about that.
SPEAKER 09 :
So I hear nobody talking about this, but it was proposed by a representative from the state of Iowa, Ashley Hinson. And it’s a longer story than what we probably have time for now, but we’ve talked a lot about chickens in a cage. And you and I talked about that initially for quite some time. And in 2008, California passed Proposition 2, which was stating that chickens need more space in a cage. That led to a series of progressions to Proposition 12, which went into effect into law in two years ago, it’ll be two years ago, so it would have been 2024, January 1, 2024, basically demanding that pork producers, anybody selling pork products into the state of California must meet California standards for housing, very similar to what they tried to do, what they did do with chickens, and create, I’m going to call it a free-range pig, even though that’s a little farther than what they really went. It’s caused some producers to do a massive amount of millions of dollars in renovation to try to comply with Prop 12. The National Pork Producers and the American Farm Bureau sued the state of California. They went to the Supreme Court, and it ruled in favor of California that California could do this. All that’s the background. Now we have a bill that has been presented called Save Our Bacon. which is supposed to be part of a farm bill, which I don’t have any faith in a farm bill coming, but the discussion is what I wanted to have, and I wanted your opinion. Basically, Save Our Bacon says that no state can enact a set of standards for the production of covered livestock, that’s the term from the bill, that basically saying that Colorado cannot say that if you do not, let’s just give it a close-up, close and personal look, You cannot sell beef products in the state of Colorado – again, this is hypothetical, trying to make an example of Save Our Bacon Act. You cannot sell beef products in Colorado unless it came from a grass-fed steer, unless it came from a grass-fed animal. There can be no corn. So I do not believe that we – This is from somebody in Iowa that did this? Correct. Okay. Please don’t misunderstand what I said. It’s about pork. It’s not about beef. But I’m just using the scenario to explain how this could happen in Colorado. Okay. How it could happen in any state. So the question is, which do you feel is more important and constitutional? The Interstate Commerce Clause, which says that one state cannot enact unnecessary regulations to prevent commerce… Or do you believe that the state, any state, has the right to do what they want to do in terms of what they think their citizens are? Again, this all came about because the people of California voted for Proposition 12. So that long, whole, long story really comes down to, Kim Monson, do you believe that interstate commerce outweighs states’ rights?
SPEAKER 14 :
Yes, I do. However, the Interstate Commerce Clause has been used to push very onerous policies. But in its constitutional text, yes, I do.
SPEAKER 09 :
I’m going to weigh in on states’ rights because I think that any time we forfeit states’ rights, we become federalized and we become the subject of a tyrannical government. But the other component of this particular bill, which is very troubling to me, and the reason I gave the history, is Proposition 12 started as a direct result of chickens needing more space in a cage, according to California voters. In this Save Our Bacon Act, it specifically eliminates egg production from the clause.

This was all about eggs to begin with. I just see this as a terrible precedent that it could give the federal government more ammunition to eliminate states’ rights, which we’ve seen with CO2 pipelines, which we’ve seen with AI data centers, and now it’s spilling over into food. Well, California is stupid for passing this, and it’s going to increase food prices exponentially. they have a right to be stupid when it comes to states’ rights.
SPEAKER 14 :
Okay, you pose an interesting comment, yes. And so Colorado, I’m going to have to think about this, Trent Lewis, because I, as you know, I really believe that rights are so important. Where I was thinking about, though, is where California had instituted these laws regulations regarding cars and trucks and diesel trucks which then that affects everybody else in the country so maybe that’s different than than what the interstate commerce clause here and and now i know we’re just about out of time what do you think i know but well and i wanted to do this i wanted to generate this as a discussion which can carry over
SPEAKER 09 :
But why does their desire to eliminate combustion engines affect other states? Because we let it. It doesn’t have to. Let California do what they want. Now, pork producers are saying that 12% of all pork products are sold in the state of California. We don’t want to lose that market. I say that if you starve them out, they will come around to your way of thinking given time, and they’ll learn their lesson not to do something stupid. I’m going with states’ rights, my primary cause.

I’m going to have to noodle this around for the next week, and I’ve made notes so that I can be focused and ask you about these things next week.

You remain focused and noodle on that and don’t get going off on some bat crazy thing out of Colorado State or something.
