SPEAKER 01 :
Good morning. Praise the Lord. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Welcome to Victorious Faith. I’m Cherry Campbell. This morning, I’m going to continue the message I began sharing with you last week that I preached in one of our Victorious Faith services called, Who Do You Say That I Am? My God of Increase and Multiplication. So join me now in our live service for the continuation of this message. Who Do You Say That I Am? My God of Increase and Multiplication. Our tithe is our part of activating the covenant with God and being in that covenant relationship of oneness. As I read those scriptures while we were receiving communion, he says, I will remain in you, you remain in me, this oneness and this sharing of everything. Nothing is kept from the other. So that’s what tithing is all about. And I don’t know what led me into that. But we were on Genesis 17 and Abraham tithed. I was talking about covenant. Oh, that’s right. Because in Genesis 17 too, I’ll make my covenant between me and thee. So there was a man side and there’s a God side. God side, I multiply you, I bless you, I increase you, I watch over you, I take care of you. Your part is live uprightly before me be wholehearted, perfect, holy, devoted, and then also voluntarily Abram and Jacob gave the tithe as their part. So that was man’s part to God. All right. So he says, I will multiply the exceedingly. The NIV says, greatly increase your numbers. And verse six, and I will make the exceedingly fruitful. And remember in the Hebrew, that’s exceeding, exceeding. It’s a double exceeding. So in the covenant, God is El Shaddai. He is the multiplier. He is the increaser. He is the one who makes us increase and fruitful. Hallelujah. And Genesis 22 says, Again, he was saying to Abraham, verse 17, in blessing, I will bless thee. And in multiplying, I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven and as the sand, which is upon the seashore. And thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies. Now, I’ve heard a lot of, I’ve heard some, I won’t say a lot. I’ve heard teachers say that the sand on the seashore represents the natural seed of Abraham, the natural people of Israel, and the stars of the heaven. He said, I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven and the sand upon the seashore. So the sand on the seashore was the natural seed, symbolizing the natural seed. The stars in the heaven symbolize the spiritual seed of Abraham. That’s us in Christ, Galatians chapter 3. If any of you belong to Christ, then are you Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise. And he is our father, father of us all, Galatians chapter 3. So we are the seed of Abraham. We are the spiritual seed of Abraham. And so that would be symbolized by the stars of the heaven. So when God gave him two signs, the stars in the heaven, the sand on the sea, it also represented two lines coming from him of seed, the spiritual seed and the natural seed. And so we are the spiritual seed of Abraham. Therefore, that’s why we are included in the same blessing. All the blessings given to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob belong to us because we are the spiritual seed. Hallelujah. You can’t say, well, that’s Old Testament. That belongs to Israel. I’m spiritual Israel. We are spiritual seed. We are the heirs of the promise. As it says all the way through Galatians and other books in the New Testament, we are the heirs of the promise. Praise the Lord. And Genesis 24, 60. These are Rebecca’s brothers when Abraham sent his servant Eliezer to get a wife for Isaac. And he found Rebecca. her brothers blessed her. And they said, they blessed Rebecca and said to her, our sister, may you increase to thousands upon thousands. May your offspring possess the gates of their enemies. One of the things I’m noticing here, a lot of this is to do with natural increase of people. And so that can be your children and grandchildren. But the Lord was putting it in my heart for the church and this church. And the Lord is saying, I command VFIC to be blessed, to be fruitful, and increase in number, multiply exceedingly in number. So we now see every chair in this sanctuary filled. Just look around the room and imagine people in every chair. This sanctuary is filled. It’s crammed full to where it’s too small. We have to go to multiple services. Hallelujah. That’s the blessing of increase God has declared and decreed on every believer. And he gave it to me this week saying, that’s why I am giving you this word, Cherry. I’m commanding increase. And we believe it. We receive it for VFIC. Multiply. Increase in number. And so we call and see every chair and seat in this sanctuary occupied. Every seat filled in Jesus’ name. Hallelujah. Glory to God. So you can take it for yourself. And it’s also not just numerical, but it’s financial because Abraham became rich. Isaac was very, very rich. I mean, Isaac was born to a billionaire. He didn’t have to do anything. He just got born. That would be pretty nice. Just get me born into a billionaire’s family. I’d like that. All right. So Isaac was born into a billionaire’s family and inherited it all. And then in one year, he reaped a hundredfold on his seed. So he got richer. Glory to God. And so the increase. So it’s also financial increase. So Genesis 26 says, This is then God giving the covenant to Isaac. Genesis 26, 24, and 25. That night the Lord appeared to Isaac. So he’s introducing himself to Isaac, and he says, I am the God of your father Abraham. That’s me. You’ve heard of me before. You were laid on the altar to be a sacrifice to me, remember? Yeah. Yeah, I believe Isaac knows very well who God is. He knows very well who God is because he was the sacrifice until the ram got caught in the bush. So I am the God of your father Abraham. Do not be afraid for I am with you. So this is God giving his covenant to Isaac. I will bless you. I will increase the number of your descendants. I will multiply you for the sake of my servant Abraham. And verse 25, Isaac built an altar there and called on the name of the Lord or called Jehovah. So in other words, this is where Isaac receives the covenant. He builds an altar. He calls Jehovah his God. There he pitched his tent and there his servants dug a well. So Judges 26 says, Isaac received a blessing and the anointing to increase. God said, I will bless you. I will increase your number. I will multiply you. Genesis 28 verse 3. May God Almighty bless you. And this, I think, is Isaac’s blessing to Jacob before Jacob ran away, when he stole the blessing. May God Almighty bless you and make you fruitful and increase your numbers until you become a community of peoples. So you see, this was always the command. This was always the blessing. This was always the decree. Be blessed, be fruitful, multiply, multiply, multiply. That’s why I say it over the offering. Because it’s the same thing that was always said. God Almighty bless you, make you fruitful, and increase you, and increase your numbers. King James says, God Almighty bless thee, make you fruitful, and multiply thee, and may you be a multitude of people. A multitude. And in Genesis 35 says, Verses 10 and 11, this is where God changed Jacob’s name. God said to him, your name is Jacob, but you will no longer be called Jacob. Your name will be Israel. So he named him Israel, and God said to him, I am God Almighty. This again, he says, I am El Shaddai. It comes with his Hebrew name, I am El Shaddai. The breasty one, the all-sufficient one, the nourisher, the all-powerful supplier. Be fruitful. Be fruitful. He said, and increase or multiply. Be fruitful and increase or multiply. Glory to God. Then this was included in the law. It preceded the law because it was first covenant. But then God gave it to all of Israel, the nation, the 12 tribes. And when we say it’s in the law, people have the thinking, oh, the law, the law, just rules and regulations. No, because really it was the Torah. And it was just a record of everything God said. So it wasn’t all command. It was recording everything God said. And part of what God said was recorded. That was the multiplication and the blessing was recorded. But it again shows you got to do your part. You got to uphold this covenant. You can’t rebel against me. You can’t have other gods. You can’t turn away. This is only when you’re walking with me. And so that’s what the law was about. because they didn’t have the Holy Spirit living in them. So to them, they even followed what other nations did. So God had to say, no, don’t do it like those nations. Those are wicked. This is the way you are to do it. And so he gave them the law in order to teach them what his ways were, are. And so they could live uprightly. And walk with him. Because I didn’t know. And then you do your part. You walk with me. I’ll never leave you. I’ll bless you. So it’s the same thing. You follow my decrees. You are careful to obey my commands. I will send you rain in its season. The ground will yield its crops. The trees of the field, their fruit. Your threshing will continue until grape harvest. The grape harvest will continue until planting. In other words, you’re reaping so much that it just runs into the next season. One reaping and harvesting season overlaps the next season for the next crop because it’s so big. I mean, it just takes so long. It takes so long because it’s so big that you don’t get it done in two days. You keep reaping and reaping and reaping and it’s already the next crop season to harvest. Like, we’re still reaping from this crop. So it’s that multiplication of the crop, the increase of the harvest. So your threshing will continue until grape harvest. The grape harvest will continue until planting because it’s just there’s so much that keeps going and going and going. It just keeps multiplying, increasing. You will eat all the food you want, live in safety in your land. I will look on you with favor and make you fruitful and increase you or multiply you, increase your numbers and multiply you. I will keep my covenant with you. You will still be eating last year’s harvest when you will have to move it out to make room for the new. Hallelujah. We talked about that a couple months ago. The getting rid of the old to make room for the new. Praise God. Because God wants to increase you. And then, so we’re looking at these increase. What you’re seeing here is scripture after scripture. I looked up the scriptures on increase and multiplication. And we see the similarity in almost every scripture. You obey me. You walk with me. You make me your God. You keep covenant with me. I’m going to be your God. I’m going to bless you. I’m going to increase you. I’m going to multiply you. I’ll walk over you. I’ll keep you safe. I’ll deliver you. And that’s the covenant. So Deuteronomy… What you just heard was the continuation of a message that I preached in one of our victorious faith services called, Who do you say that I am? My God of increase and multiplication. And we will conclude this message tomorrow. So join me again tomorrow. And remember, God loves you. You are blessed and highly favored by the Lord.
